As I alluded to in the previous post, I took about a 7 year hiatus from drawing which ended around June of 2021. This was the first thing I drew. It’s a bit off, but it looks okay for what it is.
This was the pfp for my art twitter and at this point I had a basic idea of my ponysona/oc. She was definitely going to be a pegasus and, as I was shaving my head at the time, I gave her a roached (buzzed) mane.
I eventually updated this design about a month or two later, which I will post next!
I was starting to gain a little confidence in my work again (which, believe me, I have very little of), so I updated my twitter pfp.
I really love pinto coloration in horses (especially tobiano!), and I’m a firm advocate of making ponies more equine-like in appearance and behavior when it comes to fan art and fan fiction.
I would like to eventually develop an artistic style that incorporates these realistic equine attributes!
