~Facing the morning alone is so hard, I thought about what to do today. All of my so-called friends have their phones turned off, saying that they're busy going on dates~
Yawning, you stretched out as you slowly woke up and squinted your eyes as the morning sun streamed through your window curtains. You stayed put and debated on whether you should just go back to sleep, since today was your off day you figured you could sleep in and not worry about doing anything. You closed your eyes again and turned over onto your side, burying your face into your blankets.
Bzz. Bzz. Bzz. Your eyes opened and narrowed at your phone on the bedside table that was vibrating.
"Ugh, nope. Ignoring it," you mumbled as you shut your eyes again and was going back to sleep.

You threw the blanket off of you and glared at the ceiling then at your phone. Whoever was calling you better have a dang good reason. You grabbed your phone and looked at the caller ID which read, y/f/n[your friend's nickname]. You looked at your phone in confusion due to the fact that y/f is usually sleeping in at this time like she always does.
"Hello?" You said into the phone as you answered.
"Y/n! I'm so glad you're awake! Get dressed and meet me at Beans and Cake in 30. Okay? Okay, bye!"
~I've been on hundreds of blind dates until now. The money I spent every time is thousands of dollars. After I looked at my bank account, I had a mental breakdown. Then, you, who has everything, came to me, oh werd~
You looked at your phone screen in dismay. She didn't even let me answer. You pondered over the idea of shooting her a text and going back to sleep, but decided that whatever the reason may be it must be important. So you got out of bed and wobbled sleepily over to your closet to pick out your outfit, which was going to be comfortable since you were still half asleep and didn't feel like taking forever to get ready. Besides, y/f said she wanted to meet in 30 minutes so the sooner you were done the better.
After grabbing your house keys and locking the door behind you, you were now on your way down the street to meet y/f at both you and her favorite coffee house Beans and Cake. Once you arrived you headed inside and saw y/f sitting at your usual table, which was in a corner that was rarely ever used so you guys had your privacy to do your work or in y/f's case gossip...a lot. She looked up from her phone and saw you, then like the dork she is she started waving her arms in the air as if you hadn't already seen her.
You smiled and headed over to her, "Hey goof, what's the emergency."
She looked at you confused and tilted her head to the side. "I didn't say there was an emergency."

You stared blankly at her, "So then why did you make me come meet you here and only give me 30 minutes to get here. And it better be important because if it isn't I'm going to kill you."
She innocently blinked her eyes and smiled at me, "That reason just walked through the door."
"Huh?" You turned around and saw a boy looking around, well maybe boy wasn't the right word, he looked to be around your and y/f's age. He was cute too, with blonde hair and well what you would describe as the perfect facial features.
You felt y/f nudge you as she whispered, "You're drooling y/n. Better close your mouth before he gets here."
Closing your mouth quickly, you turned back around to face y/f as she smiled and waved at the boy. "Uhm, what did you do?"
"Hm? Oh, you know just invited my cousin to come and hang with us."

You reached forward and hit her arm, "No it wasn't. Shut up." You crossed your arms and pouted, silently glaring at y/f you were surprised when you heard a deep voice calling out y/f's name. Looking up you saw the boy standing beside the table with a smile on his face, he looked over at you and your heart stopped when you saw the corner of his eyes scrunch up.
"Hello, you must be y/n." He reached out his hand towards you and laughed a little as you shyly nodded and shook his hand. "I'm Liang Hui, it's nice to meet you."
"Y-you too." You smiled a little at him, still stunned from how handsome he was. Seriously, you thought, isn't it impossible to have someone this handsome around me?
You were shaken out of your trance when you heard y/f start talking about what all she's missed since the last time they saw each other. Sitting there quietly listening to them converse, you discreetly studied Hui and then realizing you were being a low-key stalker, you immediately looked down at the table top.
~My friends always teased me everytime they saw me. Saying that a guy like me won't get a girlfriend. But won't you look at me now cause It's my perfect dime. All of this seems like a dream to me~
You looked up when you didn't hear them talking anymore, and when you did you saw that y/f wasn't at the table. Hui was sitting there smiling at you and sipping his drink, "She went to the bathroom." He seemed to have answered your silent question which made you smile a little and sip from your cup.
"So, she told me that you're currently in school to get your bachelor's in ___?" [A/n: whatever you would like to do for a career.]
"Uhm, yeah. What about you? Do you go to college?"
"Yeah, I currently go to Kyung Hee University."
Your eyes widened as you stared at him in awe. "K-kyung Hee? Seriously?"
He laughed and nodded. "Yeah, a lot of people have that reaction when I tell them that."
"Well, I mean can you blame them? That's one of the most prestigious Korean universities." [A/n: btw read this on facts about them x'D don't know anything about korean universities Dx]
~I only chased after thoughtless girls. After dating them, I've become so broke but you're ma sugar mama. Because of you, I sing lululala. I feel your special, I watched you from the corner~
You and Hui kept talking and laughing about random things until you saw y/f return and sit back down in her seat. "So what did I miss?"
"Oh nothing much, I was just getting to know y/n here a little bit."
"Oh~ were you?" She smirked over at me making me narrow my eyes at her.
"Yeah, she's as fun to talk with as you said y/f/n."
"Wait, what?" You said as you looked over to him with confusion.
"Oh, yeah I told Hui over here about how fun you were to hang out with. Speaking of, y/n would you mind keeping him busy for a little while? I got a call from my boss earlier and she asked me to come in and help out since their swamped."
"Uh~ I don't kn-"
"Okay, thanks y/n! I love you~ I'll see you later," she called as she practically sprinted out the door.
She's dead, you thought as you watched her retreating figure. "So, what do you want to do?" You heard Hui ask as he leaned forward towards you.
"Uh, well I don't really know honestly. What do you like to do?"
His smile widened, "Great! I know the perfect place to take you! Come on." He grabbed your hand and pulled you out of the coffee house, which made you blush as you stared down at his hand that was holding tight onto yours.

Hui had ended up taking you to a bowling alley making you laugh, which then in turn made him look at you with an awed expression on his face. You didn't notice though, because after you laughed with joy it was your turn to pull him. Once the both of you had your lane and shoes paid for you did rock-paper-scissors to see who got to go first, which ended up being you as the victor.
You got your ball and headed to the lane, getting ready to get a strike which most likely was not going to happen unless you were blessed with a ton of luck. That simple fact being because no matter how much fun you had bowling and how much you loved it, you sucked at bowling no its ands or buts about it. You didn't mind admitting it though, you always cracked jokes about it and made y/f laugh.
"Get ready to be beaten, Liang Hui!" You called out to him, as you put on your game face and swung your arm back.
Time seemed to slow down as you and Hui watched the ball start to turn towards the gutter, but then somehow amazingly straightened and knocked down half of the pins which made you stare in shock. You heard Hui behind you laugh and cheer for you, making you turn around and look at him with your mouth still open and point towards the lane.
"Did you see that?!" You made your way to your seat, looking back at the lane every so often.
"Sure did, good job y/n!!"

Both you and Hui spent the rest of the evening playing game after game and laughing. You had so much fun hanging out with him and never noticed that it had gotten late. Hui had bought you two some pizza for dinner and drinks to go with it, unknowingly he had got your favorite beverage and you smiled as you drank it.
"So, are you having fun?" Hui asked you as he finished his second slice of pizza.
"Yeah, a lot of fun actually. Thanks for having the idea to come here, I kinda love bowling even though I'm awful at it."
"Oh, you're not awful. You're doing better than I am! Anyways, I have to admit something." Hui blushed suddenly and looked away, "Actually, this wasn't just a sudden idea when y/f left to go to 'work'. Uhm, she may have already told me about you and showed me a picture. Wow, this sounds stalkerish, let me rephrase that! What I mean is-"
"So you planned all this out?" You asked as you smiled at him, secretly loving the fact that this gorgeous specimen of a man had liked you enough to plan out a perfect date.

"Uhm, yes. That is what I did, well with a little help from y/f who told me what you like and dislike," He admitted bashfully as he rubbed the back of his neck.
"Wait, so is that how you knew this was my favorite drink?"
"That's your favorite drink?" He looked at you with wide eyes. "I just guessed. I was right? Yes!"
You laughed as you watched his eyes light up with achievement. You were silently thanking y/f for telling him about you, because you were enjoying this date tonight and for once were glad she had decided to set you up with someone.
"So, if you think that I'm totally weird and everything then we can leave and-"
"No," you called out as you interrupted him. "No, I'm enjoying this. Wanna continue? I think it's your turn."
"Oh, right!" He smiled over at you and got up, heading towards the ball dispenser and getting ready for his turn. "You can do this!" He screamed out as he swung his arm back and then forward, releasing the ball and watching it roll down the lane.

You smiled as you watched him jump with joy when he got a strike. You didn't think you'd ever had so much fun watching someone else be so happy. You cheered for Hui as he came running back to the table, almost slipping a few times, and laughed when he did fall as soon as he reached the table.
"Oh my gosh, are you okay?" You said, still laughing while trying to help him up.
He laughed along with you and grabbed your outstretched hand. "Yes, but I think I learned a new lesson. If you fall in front of the girl you like, make it classy."
You both laughed as you helped him up and you went to start your turn. When the game finished he had won and asked for one simple prize, well at least that's what he said.
"What is it?" You asked him as you smiled.
"A kiss."
Your eyes widened as he stepped forward and cupped your face, slowly leaning down and taking your first kiss. But you didn't regret it, not once. In fact you were happy that Hui was the person that you shared this moment with because you hoped that there would be plenty more where this one came from.
