I headcanon that Warriors totally has a magical indestructible child’s leash (via Lana) for Mask and Tune. Twilight couldn’t understood why during LU (he thought Warriors was exasperating about their gremliness) but during HW, he definitely understands.

Which if you don’t know the story, Paris, a Trojan prince, came to Sparta to claim Helen, in the guise of a supposed diplomatic mission. Before this journey, Paris had been appointed by Zeus to judge the most beautiful goddess; Hera, Athena, or Aphrodite. In order to earn his favour, Aphrodite promised Paris the most beautiful woman in the world. Swayed by Aphrodite's offer, Paris chose her as the most beautiful of the goddesses, earning the wrath of Athena and Hera. Her kidnapping (depending on the version of the story) led to the Trojan War.

With people realizing this, it made me remember a headcanon I had for a Percy Jackson/LOZ/LU crossover that I will probably never write.

Albino!Warriors Headcanons: Part 1 of Many

Since many people are posting their LU Warriors headcanons today, I decided to post this thing today. Headcanons of LU Warriors/Hyrule Warriors Link being born an albino and about his life. I will try to be as medically accurate as possible but since I’m not an albino or know anyone who is, I will probably be at times wrong. You can thank @sirassban for the idea of Wars being an albino. For my sanity, he is called Link for the most part. When I get the LU parts, he will be called Warriors.

There will be a lot of info because I like to info dump. I never seem to be able to write a story though.

Link has OCA1 which means he has reduced production of melanin in his skin, hair, and eyes. And by reduced, I mean barely any

Despite the common belief that albinos have red eyes, he actually has purple eyes. This is due to the fact that the only pigment he has is a tiny bit of blue in his eyes which due to lighting, causes his eyes to appear as purple

Mostly due to his white hair, people assume he has Sheikah ancestry. He and Linkle aren't completely sure on that to due to the fact their biological father was abandoned as a baby in an orphanage before being adopted by a noble family

The only reason he was able to get into the army was because he lied, saying his hair and skin was due to Sheikah ancestry. He would have been disqualified from joining immediately if they had known he was an albino (Having albinism disqualifies you from joining the US military, so I am basing Hylian/Hyrulean army on that)

He only got found out when after a battle early in the war, Skeik came to check up on him due to previous incident involving Link hiding a serious stab wound. She found him with second degree sunburns across his shoulders and back. He had ended up losing his shirt earlier due to the fact it caught on fire and never got a replacement until after the battle

Sheik immediately dragged him to the medics where her and Impa (who followed after seeing Link being dragged) learn about his condition from an experienced medic who could tell the difference from Sheikah ancestry and albinism

Impa really chewed out Link. For hiding and lying about his condition, lying to join the army, and of course for not taking care of himself. If he wasn't the Hero and needing him to fight in the war, she would have send him home immediately. She did tell his dad though.

Link's adoptive father is a lieutenant general under Impa's command. He officially adopted Link when he was 16 but fostered him when he was about 14 (the war began a few weeks before his 18 birthday). He didn't know Link was albino bc Link hid that fact, knowing his father would enforced the rules about Albinism in the army. Needless to say, he was not happy to find out about Link's condition.

Link was grounded for a long time. When the Chain meet up, Time and Wind (aka Mask and Tune) asked him if he was still grounded. He refused to answer.

(He is still grounded)

While Toon and Mask are Link's charges, the moment Link's condition was known those two was charged of watching Link to make sure he doesn't hurt himself by forgetting about that fact his skin and eyes are far more sensitive than a normal hylian's.

His fairies, especially Proxi, learn the small signs that Link was overexerting himself. His water fairies help cool him down while his dark fairies create shadows to keep him out of the sun. The others lecture him on not taking care of himself.

Most of his fairies went with him on his adventure with the Chain. Lana created special bottles for them that are basically fairy apartments. Warriors lets them out when they make camp, are at an inn, or a Link's home.

More LU!Warriors headcanons!

I decided to also post (and repost when it wasn’t coming up on the search bar) this. I'm sure some of us LU!Warriors lovers have seen @sirassban's post on Albino!Wars and I'm sure a lot of us adopt it as our own. Some because it's so cute, and some because that means new ways to torture him. Don't even try and deny it, we love to angst that boy. So here's my own headcanons on Albino! Wars though this is mostly about his backstory that I created. Though it also works in other universe where he isn't albino.

Note that I did do some research on albinos to try and make this accurate. If lif it turns out I am wrong, well whoops. Also note, I am going to add more military ranks than the normal Hylian captain and general we see in the game.

Link and Linkle are fraternal twins but with a bit of makeup, some heeled boots for Linkle, and some clothes, they look identical. Only Link is albino, Linkle is normal blonde self.

The twins were actually separated when they were a few months old. Their parents were very wealthy, kind nobles but their father died the day they were born. Their mother was killed on the orders of other corrupted nobles, who wanted their wealth despite the laws saying they would have to wait about two decades, in order to claim that wealth if there are no heirs. The servants save them at the cost of them being separated.

Linkle was given to an old farming couple who adopted her as their granddaughter, as they had no children and grandchildren, but always wanted some. (They're basically Hylian versions of Eustace and Muriel from Courage the Cowardly Dog.)

Link was first adopted by a retired knight turned baker and his Gerudo seamstress wife. They loved and raised him as their own until he was 13 when his town was burn to the ground by bandits. He is the only known survivor.

After that, he somehow managed to find his way to CastleTown. More specifically the stables of Hyrule castle by CastleTown. He hid in the stables due to not trusting people because of the bandits.

Before his village was destroyed, Warriors loved helping out at the local farms that had horses and became quite adept at taking care of horses.

He helped take care of the horses in the stable when the stablehands weren't around. They didn't know he was there.

He took great care of Epona when she was born. Especially since her mother rejected her and the stablehands decided this was a good enough reason not to take care of her, saying there must be something wrong with her if her mother rejected her. Epona was born completely healthy. Her mother rejected her due to stress and being a first-time mom. Which is unfortunately not that uncommon.

When Epona was a few months old, she alerted the stablehands and her sire's rider to Link's presence due to the fact that Link fainted. He suffered severe malnutrition to the point the stablehands thought he was dead. Epona's sire's rider thought otherwise and took Link to the castle's infirmary.

The rider eventually decided to foster Link once he learned about Link's situation.

He's the Lieutenant General, I mentioned in the other post.

Link eventually made a full recovery. He was weary of his foster father at first but grew to accept him as his father. He never forgets his adopted parents and honors them and his birth parents when he learns who they were.

After the war started and meeting Linkle, the twins learn about their birth parents and managed to claim their inheritance before the time limit ends. The twins are now incredibly wealthy.

Out of the Chain, only Wild is richer than Warriors. But he's not allowed to spend lot in one setting because he will ruin his Hyrule’s economy if he does.

Eustace and Muriel Bagge as Hylians and Linkle’s grandparents. Fight me on it.

I mentioned in a post of mine that Linkle’s adoptive grandparents are basically hylian versions of Eustace and Muriel from Courage the Cowardly Dog. (If you don’t know that show, you missed out.)

Well I decided that actually make them Eustace and Muriel. With pointed hylian ears of course.

I mean come on! It would be so funny! Muriel being her kindly sweet self (RIP Thea White), Eustace being his grumpy greedy self (RIP Lionel Wilson and Arthur Anderson), and finally Courage being his cowardly but at time brave self. Then you add Linkle, a young woman with wicked aim with crossbows, no sense of direction, and one of the only people who isn’t afraid of cuccos and actually loves them.

Add in Link/Warriors after he and Linkle discover they’re long lost twins. I know for a fact that Muriel would spoil him (and Linkle) rotten. She also hits anyone who dares speak ill of him in her hearing range with her trusty rolling pin. Eustace may seem indifferent but even he hates when people seek ill of Link/Warriors. Unlike other people in Hyrule, he understands that Link/Warriors was only 17 when Cia asked for his hand in marriage when they had just met. Of course that boy was going to say no, he couldn’t even say yes if he wanted to. Not without Cia being arrested. (She should have been for even asking)

Haters and naysayers find themselves tripping over their own feet once Eustace pulled out his mask (an enchanted mask that frightens everything looking at it. He got it for single rupee from some weird salesman shortly after he and Muriel got married). Courage likes Link/Warriors (even though he is understandably, downright terrified of Epona) to the point if you can’t him in Muriel’s lap, you’ll find him in Link’s.

If I could write without getting distracted (thanks ADHD), I would totally write scenes of this. It would be so cute and fluffy, which Link needs with all the people writing angst with him as the star.

Eustace and Muriel Bagge as Hylians and Linkle’s grandparents. Fight me on it.

I mentioned in a post of mine that Linkle’s adoptive grandparents are basically hylian versions of Eustace and Muriel from Courage the Cowardly Dog. (If you don’t know that show, you missed out.)

I like this idea a lot. Quick! Somebody make a story with this!

Warriors feeding tube propaganda. Ik that’s way out of left field BUT HEAR ME OUT OK‼️‼️

He’s been poisoned so much and while yes, he has a higher tolerance, it’s also DESTROYED his stomach, and his ability to breakdown food (gastroparesis).

The healers in his hyrule can only do so much, and he ends up getting an NG tube (nasal tube). NG tubes aren’t normally given for long term use (>6 weeks), but an NGT is better for him because he fights so much, so it can’t rip out as damaging as a G Tube (port though stomach) could if hit in a fight.

Even more into specifics, I think he would have a mix between Standardized and Blended feeds, and the Robbie/Purah make him a machine port, since before it had to utilize gravity to work. He used to do cyclic feeds (8-12 hrs) during sleep, but does more intermittent feeds (about 1 hour 3-4 times a day, during normal mealtimes) once joining the chain.

(He might even potentially have a J tube, which goes to your small intestine instead of stomach)

He loves to help wild with food, because he can have veryyy small portions, and becomes wilds taste tester. He often matches makeup to his adhesive Wind likes to decorate it/cut out fun shapes whenever he need to replace it.

Also I haven’t had a tube myself, this is based on research and my freind who has one saying smthing to me on a discord call 👍 (if I get shit wrong im genuinely so sorry 😭)
