does anyone actually know how to cope with feeling like they dont know themselves? i feel like i never know what to wear or do or buy because i always change how i feel about what it seems like everything, but i also feel like i dont change? i think im trying too hard to have just one like. aesthetic when its always fine when other people have multiple or dont have one at all

i give other people so much grace and so much praise and i give none to myself and i Know thats bad . i have so much love to give and i still choose to exclude myself bc im like "once they make up their mind ill be fine" but do i even have to ? can i be ever-changing? will i ever let myself?

How do I politely tell someone that I’m aroace?

There’s this guy in my class that has a crush on me. (There are very obvious signs and I’ve heard his friends talking about how he likes me). I’m friends with this guy and I value his friendship dearly, so I want to be as nice as possible. I really hate to let anyone, especially such a dear friend, down, but I just can’t stand the idea of me being in a romantic and/or sexual relationship.

Do I wait until he confesses that he likes me and then let him down?? Do I casually mention it in a conversation and let him figure it out?? Do I just…not tell him?? I don’t know what to do!! Does anyone have any advice, please?!

The dimly lit tavern was packed full of various Fae; some drunken off their asses and others attempting to handle those throwing mugs. The two friends sit at the bar, the older dragon sipping his ale while the younger Elf stares down at his hands. They were dressed in leather gloves. Small flakes of ice appear on the fabric as he stares.

"Its not my fault. I had no idea she thought I was royalty-"

"But you didn't deny it when they treated you as such."

The elf sighs at the dragon's words. Shaking his head, he grabs his own mug. The outside frosting over as he drinks the liquid down. How was he to go though life now? He couldn't. There would be no way. He sets down his now frozen cup and looks to his friend. He asks if he knows anyone who can help. A smile tugs the older's lips, flashing a sharp tooth. He precedes to tell him about a _sort of_ acquaintance that lives in the wood. The Elf thanks his friend before setting off to find such a helper.
