HELLSING THE BENEDICTION CHAPTER 4: SERAPHIM  It’s the first of the month, and Benedict joins his Master, Sir Integra, for their scheduled meeting for tea, where his registration status and progress are discussed in great detail.  The powers that be have Benedict on strict observation. They demand that Integra demonstrate complete control over such an unheard-of phenomenon as a trueborn vampire and prove that he is an asset to one day serve as a weapon to the country. Furthermore, he must show complete and unquestionable dedication to the Crown, the government, and the church.  Almost like a Knight. 

But can vampires become such a thing? Sometime later, a sleeping Benedict is visited by an angel with no wings. Upon opening his eyes, he finds that he’s somehow all the way upstairs in his attic kingdom, where the old antique mirror shows yet another reflection that isn’t entirely his own.

HELLSING THE BENEDICTION CHAPTER 2: SOVEREIGN STATE The young vampire child named Benedict pays a visit to his deeply feared, yet highly respected Father in his basement dwelling. There he shares his progress as both a pupil of the State as well as a burgeoning weapon of the Hellsing Organization.  He then spends the rest of the evening with his doting Mother in his Attic Kingdom, though she’s not too pleased with him attempting to go over her head in regards to venturing outside the compound now that some of his isolating restrictions are being lifted. Needless to say, all is well in the Attic Kingdom.  But monsters can’t be knights. And old mirrors certainly can’t reflect the image of strange, mysterious ones. Can they?  Finally finished Chapter 2 of my Hellsing comic. This is by far the largest project I’ve  ever worked on. I really hope you’re enjoying Benedict so far. He’s grown so near and dear to my heart. Keep an eye out for lots of easter eggs and foreshadowing through out the comic!

HELLSING THE BENEDICTION CHAPTER 3: THE 9TH SUNRISE

10 years earlier, we stumble upon vast landscape within the famished mind of the recently returned Alucard. Here we see it’s inhabitants consist of patrolling Hellhounds below, and the watchful eye of a Cheshire cat from above. However, something else lingers here as well. A reverent of a past exchange. A fragmented piece that has remained through out the centuries and now speaks of a ‘New Dawn’

In the present, Seras returns home after a mission but is a bit more ‘worn out’ despite it being a relatively simple task. Meanwhile, Benedict documents recent events in his dream journal. With all this talk of  dreams and Cheshire cats,  it does make one wonder what does come after the 9th life?  Oh well. Shouldn’t dwell. Not when your 10th birthday is just around the corner. Finally finished Chapter 3 of my Hellsing comic. I can’t tell you how much it means to me that so many of you have fallen in love with Benedict. I’m home for the holidays now and I’m going through all my old Hellsing Manga and sketchbooks and seeing my highschool doodles of a little vampire boy. I can’t believe he’s finally come to life! Chapter 4 sometime in the New Year! Would love your feedback <3
