In which Jungkook just feels bad about leaving you alone all the time, realizing that it's not all that common for people to be as understanding as you are- and while he realizes that, he also starts to fear loosing you, needing the comfort of your touch even while asleep, just to remind himself that you're still there.

Jungkook is a rather physical person.
He shows his love in gentle touches and gestures rather than telling you outright over and over again. Actions speak louder than words someone might say, and its true when it comes to the singer himself; he enjoys the subtle things, like opening jars and bottles for you, getting you things from upper shelves, or helping you to move furniture or carry heavy grocery bags. He likes to help, loves to play his part in this dynamic you have, enjoys being needed.
He's also rather touchy, something you would've never thought he'd be.
Either sitting you on his thigh or lap, hiding your hand, or leaning against you; he always craves contact in some way. And for a long time, he held back a lot of his most personal urges in fear of being judged- it took time for him to really melt down to his very core and soul, to become as bold and honest as he was now. You're grateful for this trust every day.
"..hngg-" he grumbles, after having laid down behind you in bed for the night. His shower had been short, but he still smells nice and refreshed- having ditched his shirt to justly down in his underwear as he sometimes does. "Off." He mumbles against your skin, hands almost childishly pawing at the top you're wearing to bed. You simply giggle a bit before moving to take it off, before laying down again. His hands immediately run over the skin exposed, a satisfied sigh falling past his lips as he kisses sleepily against your shoulder and neck before settling.
He's had a bad day, you've felt it right when he came home. He'd talked about how he messed up some notes during recording today, how he couldn't get his voice to sound right, and how he probably stalled the progress of the new single now. He sometimes gets frustrated like this, and there's no need for you to answer him- he just needs to get it out you've learned, he just needs to say it out loud to someone once, and then he can move on from it, he once told you. You remember saying to him that that's good- that he should never ever feel as if he needs to hold these things back or bottle them up. You're glad he trusts you this much, after all.
"Better?" You ask, as he nods behind you, thumb moving gently back and forth over the soft flesh of your chest. He likes holding you like this, bare and without anything between you two. In moments like these, he doesn't have any ulterior motive you've come to learn; he just craves touch, just wants to be close. The first time it had happened had been when he'd had a particularly vivid nightmare of you leaving, disappearing out of sight before he could get to you. That night he'd asked to hold you, like this, and you'd let him.
How could you ever deny him?
"Soft." He mumbles out, as he runs his lips over the skin of your shoulder up to your neck where he settles, resting his head there before pulling you a bit closer. His legs move, entangling themselves with yours as he brings them closer too. "Mine." He hums out, and you nod.
"Yours." You say, and he smiles against your skin, his fingers now becoming still as he starts to move again. You get what he wants soon enough, turning a bit so he can lay down on your chest, something that he instantly does. He seems to search for a position for a second. "What is it?" You ask, as he moves around, before finally sighing out, arms snaking around your middle to hold you.
"Heart..uhm.. heartbeat. Yeah." He says, before his finger taps in the same tact as your heart for a moment- as if to show you. He loves sleeping like this, it makes him feel close, and comforted, and connected, and safe. "Love you." He drawls out. "Love you lot."
You smile too now, your hand now resting over his, before he takes it, intertwining your fingers to hold onto you during the night. "Love you too kook." You say, before fling asleep as well.

What The Sonic Franchise Does That's Great and Why You Don't Notice It First As A Kid.
You know when I go back and watch some old playthroughs of Sonic games, I noticed that Sonic the Hedgehog is surprisingly mature for its time. Not so much that kids can't enjoy, but it's something you don't notice until you get older, you know?
In the early days, The Sonic Franchise actually dealt with some important topics and conveyed a lot of really good messages. Of course, there's the obvious Nature vs Industrialism, which is a really good topic to get awareness to. But it also dealt with very deep themes and topics that you don't realize they did until you got older.
For example, Sonic games and shows conveyed and actually showed trauma, death, and grief. In Sonic 2, if you fail to get all the Chaos emeralds, it turns out, Eggman KILLS Tails. It's not shown until the end, but the somber way Sonic turns to the stars and the Tails constellation is shown, tells us ALL we need to know.
Then there's Sonic Adventure 2, a game that features Shadow the Hedgehog, a creation made for a child he grew close to and loved like a sister until she died RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM, SAVING HIS LIFE AS SHE DID. She tells Shadow to protect and fight for the world she never got to go to. This game isn't just a simple action game or a simple introduction to a soon-to-be ruined character (I'm so sorry Shadow...), it actually explores grief and the ways we can overcome it.
Not only that, but Tail's arc in Sonic Adventure is also to be mentioned. This kid was bullied for his extra Tail (to which some people can relate, not just for bullying, but being outcasted due to a deformity you never asked for), but ultimately grew proud of it, which again can inspire so many who relate to his issues. Not only that, but Sega manages to kill two birds with one stone, while Tails made a friend Sonic, he became dependent on him. When realizing this, Tails actively becomes independent, mainly from the fact that he owes Sonic SO MUCH and can't afford to rely on him for EVERYTHING. He fights against Eggman and saves Station Square ALL ON HIS OWN. This ties into the reality of every kid becoming an independent adult ready to face the world.
Unlike other games made in that time, where it's all simple action and colorful fun, Sonic had this...this...
How do I explain it?
Okay, look at it this way, in every early Sonic game and show there was this hidden walnut of maturity, that when found and cracked at the right time would show you all of the themes and messages of things you might've gone through during or when you got older and envelops you, showing you that you are strong, telling you that you're not alone; and that realization made me LOVE this franchise even MORE.
I think part of the downfall of this Franchise was how Sega brushed their trauma and development aside, and when they did include it, it was half-assed instead of a meaningful exploration. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE comedic shows like Sonic Boom, but I just miss that DAMN walnut (XD), you know?
Then Sonic Frontiers came out. And it was as if I was taking a breath of air after being smothered, that subtle but deep display of maturity was BACK. The exploration of these characters, and the delicate but STRONG handling of death and grief, I missed so much.
Then there was Sonic Prime, and my heart was EXPLODING with happiness. The way they handle Nine's trauma at being abused so elegantly, the subtle Amy under Rusty Rose (a ROBOTICED AMY), hell even the old Nature vs Industrialism is back!
This right here is what makes Sonic great, and I'm so happy they brought it back!

Okay I think the funniest and weirdest part of being in multiple fandoms, is the rollercoaster of emotions you experience in a SINGLE day.
Like in the fandoms that I'm in we have:
on one part people are cheering and happy for the vmas and han and Felix's birthday (the stays), and on the other side people are crying and throwing up over the latest ep of bsd and the whole soukokover experience (the bsd fans), also on the weird side of tiktok we have jjk characters x Disney princess (ngl sukun's betrayal hurts af) and last but not least we have twst fans freaking out over mallues's mom, which is completely valid.
Like...am I supposed to cry? Laugh? Celebrate? Which side of my likings should I attend to first?

Some similarities I've noticed is they either have/had issues, almost 30 year olds(🫠) one's socially awkward and the other has never been social, and so onnn

That if he did choose Joker, she wasn't going to disarm the bomb herself.

the way the two men stare at each other in the way they have so many times before, in those moments when Joker stayed or prioritized their fight over her. the way he knew Joker loved the thrill of it all and thought it was funny, thought there was No way Batman would leave him and that this game had to end as according to the rules. And that Batman would do so, he would follow the rules and save him. The way he immediately assumed Batman would choose him, choose his life and choose to stay and disarm the bomb.
And how Batman didn't do that. How Batman walked away from him, leaving him to die or escape or whatever, because He was choosing Harley and her safety and prioritizing her life over him.
The way he stared him in the eyes before choosing the woman Joker had always left to die over him. The way that it was always Him, it was never a question if he would choose Batman over her, but when faced with that type of scenario, Joker is the one that gets left behind to die.
The way she literally woke up in the hospital instead of them having a scene just outside after he removed it. because she didn't intend to live in one of the two options. the way the bomb probably did go off to some capacity because you don't just end up in the hospital knocked out for a week.
Him saying that he's glad she's okay, after everything they've been through, this war and Everything else. and the way he didn't brush off her concern
