I couldn’t help but write a little drabble based off of @jojo56830‘s LinkedUniverse. I just love all the designs and the personalities and interactions. And tbh I really want that coat that 4swords wears.

The ravine wasn’t dangerous, per say, but it wasn’t easy to cross. Descending and re-ascending would add unnecessary time to their journey. The only bridge over was miles away. It was find a way over, or lose valuable time.
The large wolf stalked back to the group. He approached as silently as he left, but that didn’t mean he went unnoticed.
“So?” The Hero of Time asked the wolf. The beast transformed before their very eyes. A man now stood in his place, with the same strong stature as the one he called his leader.
“The ravine only gets deeper from here on out. There’s no point in trying to go any further. Best to cross here.”
A light murmur of discontent ran through the group. Nothing was ever easy on the trail. They all longed for home, but knew they had larger goals waiting for them. In this case, those goals were about twenty feet in front of them.
