Injustice - Tumblr Posts - Page 3

(from "normal people")
who don't know how to close eyes
and to play dumb in front of injustice,
who don't talk about greed, but justice,
who disclose the unreasonable matters
that have no bearing on their own comfort,
who are not useful to themselves, above all,
who recoginize the slightest hint of their stupidity,
they never forgive those at all.
To everyone asking what's the point of sharing content about the protests in Iran and the killing of Mahsa Amini:
THE PEOPLE IN IRAN ARE BEGGING US TO SHARE THEIR PICS AND VIDS AND POST HER NAME!
Isn't that reason enough?
And do you know why they beg us for our attention?
BECAUSE IT'S MUCH HARDER FOR A GOVERNMENT TO KILL ITS CITIZENS WHILE THE WORLD IS WATCHING
Be their voice, say her name!
You really believe the Iranian government would cut access to social media if it didn't matter?

the worse climate disaster gets, the more you’ll see closet eugenicists start to advocate for letting people die. you need to be prepared to combat the ideology wherever you see it, because it’s only going to get worse and worse Read everything having to do with climate disaster critically. If the central argument underlying what’s being said is that the death of disabled and/or racialized people is inevitable, natural, or desirable– that’s a fascist.
they might be appear to be a garden variety republican or liberal or even a leftist at first, but know that if that argument is being made, their underlying ideology is one of supremacism, and given additional climate stress, they will become more blatant about it.

9 Oct 2023, Indigenous Peoples' Day Rally for Gaza, New York City
Sorry, I could never be a capitalist, I suffer from “wanting humans to have their basic needs met” disorder, where I care about people who aren’t me.
It’s extremely saddening to hear that Palestinians no longer have access to the internet, barely have any food / water, along with the women having a lack of health care products for them. If you are in any way still standing with Israel, hard block me now because I will not allow Israel supporters to be on this blog. If you are going to turn a blind eye to all the innocent lives Palestine has lost, the separations of families caused by bombings, get off my blog. This is about the difference in religion, it’s ethnic cleansing. The same way the USA is a colony on indigenous land, not a country, is the same way Israel would never ever, be a country. If you have to wipe out indigenous people off their land to be a country, then you obviously don’t have the power to start and hold a country.
I am not a religious person, but I have been praying for the longest of times that those in Palestine are at least met with generosity and mercy. They deserve peace, after the 75 years of violence.

when i posted about israel bombing al ahli hospital, i got a wave of zionist shitstains saying that it was "verified" that it was "actually a misfired hamas rocket" and that Israel had nothing to do with it despite plenty of evidence pointing to israel being the perpetrator. since apparently israel would Never Do That or whatever. now that israel has admitted to bombing a FUCKING REFUGEE CAMP, i wonder how these people feel knowing they're the stupidest and most vile pieces of shit on this earth. you people and everyone else who sympathizes with israel helped this happen by aiding the israeli government in manufacturing consent for and normalizing its consistent brutalization of palestinians. you're actually the lowest of the low and i have no idea how you're gonna go the rest of your lives and be able to look at yourselves in a mirror without feeling abject disgust
It is really super fucking telling that Jews and Muslims are experiencing massive amounts of hate crimes right now and it isn't Jews and Muslims committing said hate crimes.
We are not character is in a game or some sports team. We are all very real people who very much impacted by calls for our death and traumatized by happens to members of our communities even if it is in other parts of the world.
I know there many of you on this site having the time of your life being able to go mask off and revel in calling for Jews to die.
But this is not a joke, this is not fictional. This is real.
Wadea al-Fayoume, 6 year-old Palestinian-American child was murdered in Illinois by the family's landlord. (who again I need to stress was not Jewish)
This is what you are sowing and we, the Jewish and Muslim communities, will end having reap.
Enough is enough. Stop. Just stop.
Be quiet if can not focus your words on how to send help, aid, and resources for Palestinians.
The way they're acting like "ceasefire" means "go blow yourselves up" is just. A ceasefire is nothing. It's less than the bare minimum. It's not "rebuild what you destroyed." It's not "pay the victims remaining of the families you killed." It's not "rehabilitate Gaza." It's not any of the demands that could be made in this situation. It's just... Stop. Stop killing them. And even that is treated like it's so fucking extreme and if you call for it you must want Jews to die. Politicians with an agenda can really demonize anything.
There's a kind of anti-capitalism which, failing to recognise capitalism as merely the latest form of human inequality and domination, seeks refuge in everything believed to be pre-modern (the patriarchal family, 'national culture', tradition). In the process, it becomes reactionary and loses sight of the larger struggles of history. More often than not, the past is a creative invention of the present. And it will not save you.

it's almost like global south's reality is some sort of aesthetic concept for white people.
Fuck Israel and fuck everyone who still wants to pretend this is confusing or complicated. Is it really that hard to point out the "bad people" in a scenario where a multi-billion military apparatus is handcuffing and killing children and medical staff inside a fucking hospital?

TWO HOURS AGO: an incredible photo taken by a ut austin student capturing something deeply poetic in my opinion, a line of state troopers eagerly waiting to arrest student protesters standing just behind a sign that reads "what starts here changes the world. its starts with you and what you do each day."
somehow the poor cops who we were told are simply too understaffed and underpaid because of Woke to deal with 'rampant rising crime' have found the strength to beat the shit out of college students across the whole country for peacefully saying "divest from the country killing innocent palestinians in the tens of thousands"
I hope western leftists know that standing for a free Palestine is not the end of decolonization. I've seen far too many white leftists who proudly stand for freeing Palestine which is good but then get nervous and apprehensive at the idea of decolonizing the very land they are on. Norway will recognize Palestine but actively tear down Sámi liberation. Liberation for one people means it for us all. If you support Palestinian liberation but deny it for the Indigenous people of the land you're on then you didn't stand for Palestinians or any of us to begin with.
kind of weird how the new thing is to acknowledge that you're American and don't know anything about the rest of the world but frame it as satire so you never have to actually learn anything about anywhere other than USAmerica while still getting all the discourse points for not being a chauvinist
