GWEN MARKED BY THEY EYE???? [NOT CLICKBAIT]
Guys Gwen got ink5oul to give a statement after she asked them a question? She even said afterwards that it was very "articulate" which I think was the writers hinting at Gwen compelling. Idk but she is a bouchard like Elias so that's already got her some eye conditions. ANDDDDD we know she has had a run in with something paranormal as she started giving a statement when the archivist came to save her from ink5oul so I think that we are gonna get to hear the rest of that at some point which is more evidence at her at least being marked by a fear sooooooo. That's all I got tell me what u think
TMAGP OIAR Theory under the cut⬇️
Hi! It’s me! If you were on tmagp tiktok in the VERY early days of tmagp(I’m talking first two episodes just released) I was that one guy in the comments of every tmagp related video telling people my ship name for Chester and Noris(bEYEnary bfs). It is very likely you have no fuckin clue what I’m talking about, and if so, yeah that’s fair I’m assuming that’s most people reading this; HOWEVER either way in the past several months since tmagp 1&2, I have been working on my theory board(red string and all) and I have created a conspiracy board that would put Collin’s to shame, and looks just as insane, but using this I think I have solved the OIAR’s purpose within tmagp’s alchemy based fearscape, and bottom line, everyone is screwed.
So it all started when I saw these two images being compared on here
So then I was like yeah that’s interesting from the alchemy angle but what does it mean but then I saw someone saying that if you look closely at the OIAR logo you can see the symbols for sulphur, salt, and mercury, the soul, body and mind, and then my curiosity got the best of me. So I started theorizing about this on my coarkbord and did some digging into the philosopher’s stone.
It was said to be a red stone that alchemists would try to make due to it’s properties of being able to turn base metals precious metals BUT it was also said that it could be used to create the elixir of life which could indefinitely prolong life aka immortality AKA one of the major reoccurring themes of tma AKA Jonah Magnus’s main goal that motivated him into starting the eyepocalipse AKA the thing we learnt was impossible in the fearpocalypse because no new people were being born and the end would eventually get them all.
So what did Lena say the OIAR’s job was to Gwen? To keep the wheel forever turning. So logically that would probably mean keeping the entities fed but preventing the end of the world. In other words sustainable fear. Keeping the wheel FOREVER turning. Are you starting to get it? So using that logic that clearly shows why she works so hard to keep the externals(avatars) at such a distance. But in her phrasing she made it sound like the OIAR is something they would jump to take if given the chance.
And then it hit me. Going back to my previous point we have been showed how much avatars and alchemy overlap, especially with the more recent episodes highlighting how avatars are partaking in alchemy, with tmagp 19 showing both the Magnus institute and sir Isaac newton were very involved with using alchemy in their spooky shit. Even as far back as the first two episodes we see this, and although it is more implied in episode 1 with red canary seeing “weird symbols” in the Magnus institute, it is said overtly in ep 2!
Which leads me to at least theorize that wether metaphorically or literally, the reason the avatars so intertwined with alchemy want to take control of the OIAR so bad, is because the OIAR(and probably FR3-D1, let’s be real) is the philosopher’s stone of their patrons, granting them eternal fear with perfect balance, just as Robert Smirke always dreamed. And the reason Lena wants to keep the place so secure is because if one did take it, it would unbalance the scale, making it lose it’s function and the possibility of an apocalypse imminent. And Gwen just weakened Lena’s boundaries by letting lady mowbray into the building.
Or I’m wrong. There’s every possibility that I’m wrong. After all this is my theory board
And it’s like, 40% Elias theories. Jon would be proud.
But I’m like, 72% sure I’m right.
Wdym the tape recorder bit them??????? So its like a mimic or what
The best part is, Ink5oul, and to a lesser extent Mr. Bonzo were both self inflicted.
Sure she didn't ask for Mr. Bonzo, but she did ask to be cut into the game she knew nothing about. She literally asked for another external and got Ink5oul, and, well, we know what happened to her.
The only reason why she'll survive is John-esque plot armor. She'll survive yes, but she'll wish she didn't at every turn. Or who knows, maybe she will die after biting off more than she could chew
Gwen has been going through it 😭
Diversity wins! The manic influencer who is currently tattooing a dead corpse uses they/them pronouns!
*ink5oul voice* what’s up chat, today we’re going to be reviewing tattoos and their artistic quality. so for this video, i actually got this corpse
We got Nikola Orsinov 2.0 here
in the TMAGP universe that hbomberguy video had a segment about Ink5oul
Diversity win! This influencer who digs up and tattoos dead bodies, and who might be about to kill Gwendolyn Bouchard, uses they/them!!
I kind of hope that, in contrast to jon being oblivious to his compelling powers for a long time and hesitant about it, Gwen figures out what she can do after the ink5oul incident and immediately uses the shit out it at every convenience
Lmao
The Magnus Protocol villains, more or less, approximately
Oh ink5oul, a victim of the internet, I get it. Maybe not on that scale, but the pain of the internet and the cycle is crazy
Ink5oul I need you a normal. Amount give me one chance just one
I think Ink5oul and the other influencer (sorry) could be atleast partly to do with the eye, hear me out.
Near the end of MAGP 16, we get this
Which I know reminded most of us of our good friend Sergey Ushanka
(I'm aware it's spelt wrong but that's irrelevant)
But it's too different to be that, I think the key part here is "I just wanted to be noticed" or in others words to be seen. Now I'm fully aware this is very thumbtacks and red strings right now but if we look at MAGP 20 we get these
Ink5oul repeatedly says the actual tattoos don't matter, but the reaction of their audience. It was too much to put here but near the beginning of their monologue they talk to Gwen about the way our brain reacts to going viral and says having too much of that can turn you into an addict. Which ink5oul has clearly become at this point. My point is that throughout this episode, ink5oul seems to be actively trying to take our focus from the actual tattoo itself, ijstead focusing solely on the reaction and one other thing.
Now, the problems. I will be the first to admit there are a few holes with this theory first being with the other thing ink5oul focuses on that I just mentioned, it's a thing they call "the look" which just by the name sounds like more evidence of the eye but really isn't. Ink5oul talks about how now they crave this look of fear, apprehension, and dread more than anything, so it kinda throws a wrench in my gears, but it can be overlooked.
Secondly this does nothing to explain why and how ink5ouls tattoos do what they do (cause fires, deaths, ect) my thoughts atm are that it could be to do with a combination of another fear but I'm not sure which and honesty that line of thought is a bit flimsy.
My final thoughts are this, I think the fear, if that's even what's at play in this universe, that ink5oul harbours, represents, whatever is the eye. But a different version of it, in MAG the eye drew its power from seeing and it's victims suffered from being seen, what if it has reversed in a way? Now "avatars" take their power from being seen, beholded I'm honestly not certain what this version of the eye does to its victims that's another wee problem with this theory but I do think this theory has atleast a bit of creadance.
Ok, so one or two things I didn't mention was that there's also the possibility that the eye hasn't reversed, but instead, ink5oul is the victim, but I dont think that makes much sense with they've been presented so far but it's still possible.
Secondly I'm not certain we have the eye acting like this in any other episodes where being seen is the punishment but we do have very very mild hint of it in MAGP 5, just a quick refresher for those like me who can't memorise these things episode 5 was about a blogger watching an really obscure horror movie, with the lines "Voyeur needs to be seen to be believed "
That line does actually kind of hint towards the idea that being seen is the new goal of the eye but this could definitely just be confirmation bias. Even if this isn't to do with that thus episode is definitely eye flavoured. As the film apparently shows videos from the bloggers own life.
Which in the very least atleast shows thst the eye is being seen with social media more often than not
