「 The celebrations have begun! It's a joyous time of laughter, reminiscing, and preparation in the days leading up to the wedding of Dolores and Mariano. Well...for everyone else, at least.

Bruno finds himself a little overwhelmed by all the festivities, feeling a lot of pressure to not make accidentally 'ruining weddings' a tradition of his.

It doesn't help that the strange talisman he won in a dice game is attracting a lot of unwanted attention when it's revealed that the jewel merchant is said to be a 'gold thief' who lures people in with stories and 'fools gold' in exchange for real gold. 

Meanwhile, the mysterious jewel merchant, Chel, returns home, where she mopes in a bath after finding another gray hair. Thankfully, her sister, Inés, is there to boost her spirits, as are the magical charms of her youngest nephew, Vito.  」 ✨| CHAPTER 3:  A flashback to almost 12 years ago right before Mirabel's ceremony and Bruno's disappearance. Chel returns to The Encanto with her family and has a conversation with a mysterious stranger.

Okay so I had a thought, what if the grandkids and bruno went on a roadtrip, here's my headcannon on how that goes. Let's say it's modern so they all get in one of those big vans with enough seats for everyone, the seating chart would be as so

Luisa driver and Dolores Co pilot, they argue over the music and directions

Isabella, Antonio, and Bruno behind them. Isabella fought for the window seat, Antonio spends the trip talking to brunos rats, and bruno spends the trip getting car sick cause spending ten years in da walls and then getting in a moving vehicle after so long aint fun I imagine

Then in the back it's Camilo and Mirabel cause if they were close enough to reach the radio they'd play rickroll music convince me otherwise, they definitely spend the whole trip quoting "road work ahead uh yeah I sure hope it does" anytime they see a roadwork ahead sign

Dolores half way through the trip puts on sound proof headphones. Luisa stopped at McDonald's and got one black coffee, it was for bruno so it's okay if everyone got mad. Antonio falls asleep cause long trip the child needs his sleep. Bruno is just not having a good time but atleast he's in a window seat so he can see the sunlight. I feel like Camilo is that kid who cannot sit still in a car and somehow ends up sitting upside down in their seat. At some point Mirabel remembers phones exist and blasts Misery by maroon 5. They all sing along cause I love that mental image of them all going "I aM iN MiSErY". Luisa gets so into it though that she crashes the car and Pepa has to pick them up in the middle of nowhere. The moment she gets there she just already knows this is mirabels fault.

ENCANTO (2021)

So Encanto, huh? It was amazing! Buuuut I have a small…theory.

SPOILERS!!

So we know Isa’s prophecy was that she would life she wishes would one day, correct?

And Dolores was that she would never be able to have the man of her dreams.

Neither ended up happening UNTIL Maribel, making Bruno’s prophecies true and false in that order.

He saw Maribel’s future as a teen when she was only 5. What happens if he did see their future, but since Maribel’s own was so clouded, so was theirs.

Isabella and Dolores’ prophecies were directly tied to Maribel’s choices. That’s why they we not accurate like the fish, gut, and hair.

Plus they had theirs first. He wouldn’t have known they were incomplete or incorrect before hers.

my younger sister said Isabella reminded her of Elsa when she watched Encanto

⚠️Heartbreaking Encanto Realisation ⚠️

So I was rewatching the music video to Dos Orugitas when I noticed something.

We all know that each family members room (with the exception of Mirabel) is unique to them and their likings. Antonio likes animals and his room is a jungle. Isabella likes plants and her room is a garden and so on and so forth.

Well…………look at Abuleas

It looks just like the one her and Pedro shared in their old home!

It’s not big and spectacular like the others. It’s small and simple and reminiscent of the life she once had. A small bit of familiarity, where after a long day of duties and responsibilities she can go back in time to the life she once had. When she didn’t have an entire town depending on her. When she didn’t know miracles existed because she never needed one. When she was just a young girl living in a small boring completely ordinary house with her loving husband and beautiful children.

Because THAT is what she likes most.

Encanto Headcanon: Isabella eats dirt.

Aside from needing more sunlight and water for her gift, Isabella also occasionally eats dirt. She used to do it a lot as a child when she first got her gift, but her parents and Abuela managed to "seemingly" coax her out of it.

"Seemingly" because she actually never stopped. She just got better at hiding it, first by only eating dirt when no one else was around, then by hiding dirt in different things she ate.

Camilo is the only one who knows after he swiped some of her food and belatedly realizing it was dirt. Isabella doesn't do anything about it because she knows no one will believe him.
