*sigh* I'm going to talk about the purge(THE TWITCH ONE NOT THE HORROR MOVIES)

CW: TALK ABOUT THE DREAM SMP AND JSCHLATT!!

Greetings gamers. People seem to actually read these things so I'm gonna keep making em.

Recently(today, 12/18, to be exact) I saw the growing in fame clip of Jschlatt activating a bot that got rid of any and every person in his chat that had a username associated with Minecraft/mcyts.

I don't think this was wrong. He said he no longer enjoys that stuff, he doesn't want it. I think it was a huge move toward him feeling happy. That's amazing.

Although it's going to put a gigantic dent in how those people see him, we all need to remember that it it entirely up to him what he does with his platform. However I saw as countless messages came into the chat saying "(name) has been permanently banned" and I can't help but feel sorry for those users--who came and appreciated this man and were now getting removed by the masses.

Jschlatt is not an entirely good person. But I do believe he means well. He supports his friends, he makes funny content(you can't tell me that the running "infinite bacon" joke on the Chuckle Sandwich podcast isn't funny!!), And he really does do a good job.

Creators should be able to rebrand themselves as they see fit if they realize the way things are isn't helping them or their mental health. Creators should not be able to ban people because they're "haters" or things like that--there is a difference.

He is now shaping his platform into something that he will want to participate in, something that will bring him joy, and I think that will lead us to see an increase in his genuine enjoyment of his career as a creator.

I'm so in love that it's nuts.

I have a lot of anxiety about starting new shows or media because?? I don't know what's happening and not knowing makes me afraid. But they showed me some edits and fanart for the anime she wanted me to watch...helping me understand who the characters are...and then I did it and watched.

We reconvened and I told him how much I loved it. Never should've doubted them. And she told me they had an original character and a story, if I'd like to hear.

For four hours, I was listening to this story. And even though it wasn't canon, I loved every second. He made me so invested that I was getting the jitters I get when I listen to a song I love. It was such a serotonin boost I thought I'd fall off my bed when I stimmed in excitement. It'd been a while since I felt that good.

I get to see them today and I'm so excited. Not just for the story, but to be around her. 💖💖💖

I'm knee deep in work, I've got stuff to do, but I just wanted to tell y'all I appreciate you!!

I've been writing fandom stuff for years(it's been a time) but until recently and getting into LMK haven't really had the confidence to post it. I'm beyond happy that people enjoy my content and want to actually see more of it!

It's been so cool seeing the different ways people write for LMK. All the AU's, the art, the connections to the actual mythology and literature (JTTW)...it's all so amazing and I'm so happy I'm here to see it all happen in front of me. This applies to other fandoms too, but obviously the monkeys have a grip on me and will NOT let go

Benched(a mini nonsensical rant that no one asked for!)

Y'know, I was thinking about this earlier and I figured this is the best place to say anything.

One of my favorite episodes of LMK is Benched, and here's why:

The creators of the show had a real opportunity for this episode to be a one on one confrontation between Macaque and Wukong. No, their fight in s1 doesn't count--MK was present for that. However, Benched doesn't allow this to happen a second time: they choose to let Tang have a moment.

I think Tang being the one to talk with Macaque inside the lantern was an excellent choice. There's something to be said about how Macaque talks to Tang specifically as opposed to the others. He chooses to compliment him(in his own way), saying how smart he is and then offering up some advice.

"don't take it personally, Tang. Your buddy Wukong values people by how useful they are to him. Take it from me, as an expert on what happens when you get too close to the king...Look out for number one, because if you don't, no one will."

I find this interesting. When Macaque tells the story of the hero and the warrior in "Shadow Play" he mentions over and over the betrayal of being left behind that the warrior felt. The letdown of feeling like the warrior was on equal grounds with the hero, but then everything had to change because of power, and he is projecting this idea right onto Tang.

But Tang IS smart, he IS wise, even if he seems more like a side character, he does HAVE STRENGTH. He sees through what Macaque is trying to tell him.

Macaque is "alone". He, at this point, has no real allies, no one to save him. LBD doesn't count because she ONLY sees him as disposable.

Tang, on the other hand, knows that even if he "[doesn't] bring [anything] to the table" he is not alone. He, especially in the drawing he has from MK, is surrounded by people who love and care about him. People who would save him, and people he has saved himself(see how he shields Mei from the ice when Macaque shows up to begin the ritual). It is a two way street and he knows this.

In that moment inside the lantern, Tang very well could have chosen to believe Macaque and betray MK and Co. But he didn't because he isn't pessimistic like Macaque is. He FINDS that power he needs to get the ring and get out. Powers of friendship, sure, but also it could be how MK needs the confidence to get his powers--Tang needs reassurance(even from himself) in order to find his own strengths. Multiple times throughout the show, he follows his gut and most of the time he's correct(Spider Queen in s1, following the Golden Cicada in s3) so of course he would be confident in himself and his relationships and use that power.

I just find their interaction along with Tang's character interesting.

I give this movie an 8/10 simply because the character design still scares me and there were too many gross jokes. But other than that wow :,)

Admittedly more emotional than NR. Like….way more important people died/got injured in NR but I barely cried. But this one gave me two loving parents watching their son sacrifice himself and for that I can’t hold back my tears (pos)

Brb gonna watch the first Nezha movie so I can get over my fear of his character design. I will post my notes ✍️

I'm about to hit the hay for the evening but I had a thought that I wanted to share. It's more just me rambling about internet silliness but eh, this is my void and I'll scream if I want :3

I personally think I'm a very good artist! I'm almost entirely self taught, built up from nothing, and still learning as I go. I'm by no means a master at it, but I'm talented enough that my family occasionally commissions me for things!

That being said, I'm never ever going to post any of my art here, or anywhere else it can easily be taken.

Call it selfish, call it stupid to have this fear, but I'm just so tired of the rage that washes over me every time I hear about someone stealing art, or reposting without permission, or even someone putting it in an AI and remixing it. It's just so dumb and I wish all art thieves a hot eternity in hell.

Artists who have worked so hard, put everything into their work, can't truly trust the very places they got their start on because what if it happens to me next?

"oh, but not everyone online is like that!" But too many people are. There's no stopping every single one, not without tight rules that will make it hard to enjoy the art we're trying to protect. But it's just enough of an inconvenience that I, personally, am sick of.

I don't know. I'm not trying to make any grand points or inspire a revolution. I just wish it'd get better, even though it might not happen.

Hello here's my little bit of spider Brainrot <3 brought to you by my thoughts at 4 AM

*movie ends, threat defeated, uhh Miguel either dies or gets redeemed(no in between. This MF can't just *live* the way he is). Things all chill. The spider band gets to reunite, etc. And they prepare to send Miles home to the right universe, at least for now.*

Miles: Wait! There's one more thing I gotta do before we go back!

Cue a small montage of the spider gang helping him make two cakes, it's a mess at first but they look good in the end. We don't see the finished product as the cakes are put neatly into two boxes.

Cut to a shot of Miles' house. Rio and Jeff are sitting anxiously at the table as the storm's just cleared up and they wonder when "Gwanda" will come back with their son in tow. There's a flash of colors and a portal opens up in the living room, with Miles stepping through, two boxes in his arms.

But he's not alone.

As he steps into his home, his real home, he's followed by none other than Gwanda. And then a kind-looking boy with a red headband and hair that looks amazing. And a ridiculously tall punk boy with a guitar over his shoulder. And a man with a baby girl strapped to his chest. And a woman with a baby bump. Each of them is holding something else food or party related, such as a couple of big bags of chips or bottles of soda.

Miles: I know I missed the first party...so I wanted to make it up to you. And don't worry, I didn't forget the cakes!

Rio and Jeff embrace their son, and we finally get to see what's written on the cakes. It's read out loud as we see the party kick off, with the spiders socializing with Jeff and Rio.

Voiceover Miles says something along the lines of "Dad, I'm proud of you for how far you've come, because I can see all the effort you're putting in. I couldn't be more proud of you, and I hope you're proud of me too."

It cuts to the other cake, which has frosting letters on it in Miles' own handwriting, and it just says "p.s., I'm spiderman. Love you!" Or something like that

(that's it that's the end of the movie. Sony you can hire me whenever 💖)
