Just realised that Burt Hummel and Tom Houston are basically the same fucking character!
They even have one letter off names to their son’s!! (Burt - Kurt) (Tom - Tim)
recently listened to two infamous nightmare time episodes (Jane's a car and Hey,Melissa) and i noticed that both of these stories remind me of other horror stories (didn't notice this as much in other nmt eps)
Like Jane's a car: Christine by Stephen King
and Hey, Melissa reminds me of the movie Audition or Misery (the main character of Misery is even named Paul!!!)
Im now curious if anyone else noticed stuff like this in other nightmare time eps!

Perky’s Buds - birds eat magic weed and it makes them smart
Abstinence Camp - horny teenagers keep fucking and then get brutally murdered
