I've always wondered if Elena knew Damon raped Caroline. She knew they slept together, as she said it in season four, but it clearly seems she just thought it was that: sex, not rape.

I mean, I doubt Elena would break up with Damon over it (sadly) if she did/came to know about his sexual abuse because she forgave him for killing her own brother and in general the three shows were very adamant on pushing long-life friendships down to elevate toxic romances.

She did "Caroline jumped in bed with him" and it's just wrong, no matter how much you may dislike or like her character: if Elena had known about her being raped then her statement is just straight up disgusting.

Listen I absolutely adore Elena, but it's absolutely insane to me how she was okay with murdering Kol, knowing that would kill hundreds of vampires who did absolutely nothing to her, for a cure that sounded straight out of a fairytale.

The realisation that tvd returns in less than a week....

“Hello, Love.” Klaus greeted Y/n as he entered their shared bedroom in his mansion. He had been out dealing with some witch business, so he got home later than her.

“Hey.” she greeted back her head leaning up for a kiss as he got on the bed behind her.

Klaus gladly leaned down to place a kiss upon her lips before pulling away to ask the question on his mind since she seemed so tense. “Did you stop by to pick up more of your stuff?”

He had glanced around the room to notice if more of her stuff was in it and indeed there was. Which had made him already know why she seemed tense but he didn’t want to push on the sensitive subject if he was wrong.

“Yu’p’” Was her only response and judging by her tone he knew what must have happened.

“They're still mad at you?” he asked even though it was more of a fact than question. Klaus wrapped his arms around her and once he did he could tell some tension left her body. So he decided to also kiss her cheek.

Y/n sighed, frustrated with the situation. “Yeah. But I don’t care. I’ve had to put up with so much crap from Elena and Jermey but if it comes to anything to do with me they could give a crap or they get angry at me.”

“I’m sorry, Love.” Klaus mumbled into her neck, nuzzling into it.

“You have sibling problems all the time what do you do?” Y/n asked her Hybrid boyfriend as she turned to lay on her back, looking up at him. Why her siblings couldn’t support her relationship she’d never know. They’ve forgiven others that had done horrible shit to them why not Klaus? Y/n just suspected it was because they never liked anything she said or did.

Klaus laughed hovering above her with his dopey smile upon his lips. “I dagger them for a few decades.”

“Damn.” Y/n shook her head with a disappointed but amused look.

“Love, my siblings love you. You're a part of our family, we’d do anything for you.” Klaus stated to her as he brushed her hair back out of her face.

“I appreciate it. I’d do the same.” Y/n smiled up at him. She loved all the Mikaelson siblings just like how they all loved her.

“We know, Love.” Klaus nodded, he did truly wish he could take away the situation that caused her stress. Maybe he’ll have a talk with Jeremy and Elena.

The Originals was a waste, New Orleans was whitewashed and so much was retconned just to make it work lol. Anyway, the spinoff should've been about Bonnie who has family roots in NOLA, the Bennett Coven as a powerful matriarchy + she and Tyler both go there to be leaders of their respective factions, and their interactions with Marcel and the supernatural politics and Southern Gothic aesthetics. But, I still want Tristan, Aurora and Lucien there + The Originals as antagonists maybe

Did Bonnie have roots in New Orleans? I don't remember that, but I never actually watched the last two seasons of the show so I could have missed something. I could have sworn early seasons said that Bonnie's ancestors (post Qetsitah and Ayana) were from Salem (probably an allusion to Tituba), though if I remember correctly, I thought the Martin Family (Jonas, Luka, and Greta) came from Louisiana originally.

All that aside, you're completely right when you talk about them completely whitewashing New Orleans. That city has a huge African-American presence, and we saw a grand total of maybe three or four characters that were black that had any prominent presence in the show? Everything else, including the city's founding being attributed to those viking vampires instead?

Yeah, I call bullshit.

And that's not even getting into the missed opportunity of the native Creole and Cajun populations, something that is unique to that area.

That entire show was a missed opportunity.

And I agree with you regarding Bonnie and Tyler. Hell, throw in Matt and Jeremy, too and we could have built up an entire show around those four, given their unique roles in the Mystic Falls Gang and how they were all criminally underused on TVD. Tyler in particular, especially given what we later found out about werewolves and their origins being in New Orleans. They could have very easily kept Klaus in Mystic Falls to creepily stalk Caroline and Stefan, while making a spinoff show about the supernatural community of The Big Easy.

Let's just set this up here...

The Originals started after season four of The Vampire Diaries, so after the MFG graduated high school. That right there would have been the perfect opportunity to do a clean break rather than keep the same group together after high school when generally everyone goes their seperate ways. So after graduation, Bonnie's still alive because fuck you, Plec! Jeremy's alive, too, and everything else is pretty much the same. Matt goes off on his Eurotrip with Rebekah to get it out of his system and Tyler has been exiled from his own home by Klaus' neurotic paranoia. What next?

Well, rather than everyone going to Whitmore for college, let's say that Matt was accepted on a scholarship to Tulane or something, actually give the poor boy a chance, so when he comes back from Europe he heads off for New Orleans right away. Or hell, even have him be an O'Connell, because by that point we still had no idea who his dad was, maybe even have him work as a bartender or something at Rousseau's. Let's say Tyler is already there, having been kicked out of his own home, exploring his ancestral roots and bonding with the local werewolf pack - we could explore what it means to be an actual leader of a pack (something Tyler did voluntarily rather than being forced into it like Hayley... werewolf queen, my ass). Bonnie goes on her road trip with her mother before hearing about the witches of New Orleans and decides she wants to know more about her craft so she heads there. And Jeremy, he left home because of his Hunter's instinct, chasing down rogue vampires that kill people for fun, hunting one to New Orleans. Maybe even have him explore the myth of Rayna Cruz.

So many possibilities!

Boom, we have four characters right off the bat, and can then introduce characters like Marcel, Vincent, Keelin, Jackson, Davina, Sophie, etc. We could get into the politics between the different supernatural factions of the city and see how they test the friendships of this people who have known each other since childhood, rather than have everything revolve entirely around the Mikaelsons and their borderline-incestuous drama.

I should be a showrunner. I'd do a better job coming up with a story than Plec or Narducci ever did.

"It's your first day of school and I'm totally unprepared." Aunt Jenna says as Jermey steals Elena  coffee from her as Elena sigh pouring another cup of coffee

"Lunch money?" Aunt Jenna ask

"I'm okay no thanks" Elena replies as Jermey takes the money from aunt Jenna

"Anything else a number two Pencil? What am I missing?" Aunt Jenna asks

"Don't you have a big presentation today Aunt Jenna?"Elena asks

"Elena! Back in the car." Bonnie says smiling Elena  as Elena  turn around facing her

"I did it again, didn't I? I-I'm sorry, Bonnie" Elena says

As Elena  nodded her head listening to Bonnie  "'and you are going to be beyond happy'"Bonnie says as we both smile at each other before driving off again.

As The new Girl walks out the office walking past Bonnie as Bonnie continues staring at the new kid  following her just as she past Caroline  , Caroline stares at her as well

Elena walks out the boys restroom bumping into the Stefanie "Uh. pardon me.Um..Uh is this the men's room?" Stefanie says looking at Elena Stefanie asks Elena 

"Yes. I was just talking to my brother about something.

I was just, Um—I was just—It's a long story...."Elena says as Stefanie smiles at her

Elena tries to pass. Stefanie makes way for her.

"Thank you." Elena says

walking away as Stefanie  continues staring at Elena just as she turns the corner Elena looks back at her walking away.

Elena is sitting in class as she looks back at Stefanie and they made eye contact before she looks away smiling before looking back at the teacher speaking.

Elena just sighs and puts her phone away

Elena is walk to the cemetery as she writes in her diary

'Dear, diary. I made it through the day. I must have said "I'm fine, thanks" at least 37 times.  And I didn't mean it once.But no one noticed. When someone asks "How are you?"  They really don't want an answer.'

As a black crow lands on one of the grave stones and squawks

"Okay. Hi. bird." Elena says to the crow

"That's not creepy or anything" Elena says writing in her diary as fog starts to appear Elena then looks around confused as Elena gets up and walks towards the crow

"Shoo!" Elena says to the crow as the crow flys away

"That's what I thought" Elena said to herself  as she turns around the crow caws at her as Elena jumps back

Elena slowly reaches down and picks her bag up and runs away as the crow fly off Elena walks out of the cemetery looking over her shoulder before continuing to walk away as a person is standing next to one the grave stones watching her leave.

Elena then turns around seeing someone there as she runs off into the woods she falls on her leg before getting back up she turns around to see the new girl standing there.

"You okay?" The girl asked her

"Were you following me?" Elena asked her

"No. I, I uh, I just..I saw you fall." She said

"Uh-huh, and you just happened to be hanging out in a cemetery." Elena says chuckling nervously

"I'm visiting. I have family here." Stefanie said

"Oh.Wow Tactless." Elena says "I'm sorry it's the fog It's-it's making me foggy." "And then back there, there was this-this bird and it was all very Hitchcock for a second. That-that is the bird movie right? The-the Hitchcock?" Elena rants to Stefanie as Stefanie smile at her

Elena stops ranting and looks to see Stefanie smiling at her

"I'm Elena."  Elena says telling Stefanie her name

"And I know. We have history together so..." Elena chuckles at Stefanie

"Right." Elena says  as Stefanie picks the leaf off her jacket

"Yeah. I'm kinda stuck with it. It's weird. huh?" Stefanie asked Elena 

"No, no, it's just, I mean, there are rings and then there's that." Elena chuckles as Stefanie plays with her ring on her finger

Stefanie frowns looking down at Elena's leg then looking back up at her "Did you hurt yourself?" Stefanie asks Elena

"Hmm?" Elena ask

"Did you hurt yourself?" Stefanie asked  Elena again as she walks over the rock on the ground

"Oh, uh..I don't know." Elena say as puts her foot on the rock rolling up her pants leg showing that she indeed hurt herself.

"Oh!. Would you look at that." "That is not pretty." Elena said as he turns to look at Stefanie only for her to turn her head as her vampire face shows

"You okay?" Elena asked her

"You should go. Take care of that." Stefanie suggested

"Really, it's nothing." Elena says

pulling her pants legs back down before standing back up to see that Stefanie disappeared leaving her by herself confused.

"Well done. Aunt Jenna." Elena chuckles as Elena walk towards the front door and gasps in shock to see Stefanie

"Sorry, I was about to knock." Stefanie says 

"I wanted to apologize for my disappearing act earlier. I know I was...strange." Stefanie says sincerely 

"Yes it was but, No worries. I get it, blood makes you squeamish." Elena says as they both chuckle softly

"Um, something like that." Stefanie says before asking her about her leg "How's your leg?" 

"Oh, it's fine just a scratch, barely." Elena smiles and laughs softly "How did you know where I lived?"  Elena said asking Stefanie

"It's a small town. I asked the first person I saw Um. I thought you might want this back." Stefanie says handing Elena her diary

"Oh, I must have dropped it. I..Thank you." Elena says

"Don't worry, I didn't...read it." Stefanie said

"No?" Elena questioned her

"Why not ? Most people would have." Elena said

"Well, I wouldn't want anyone to read mine." Stefanie says

"You keep a journal?" Elena asked

"Yeah, if I don't write it down I forget it." Stefanie says

"Memories are too important." Stefanie continues to explain.

"Yeah." Elena says blankly staring at Stefan squinting her eyes

"I-I'm just gonna, um..you don't have to stay out there." Elena says walking away to put her journal up

Stefanie tries to go in but can't

"I'm fine.Sorry, were you going somewhere?" Stefan asked Elena from outside the door as Elena walks back to door after she put her journal up

"Yeah, I'm meeting a friend there." Elena says

"Do you want to come?" Elena asked Stefan

"I feel weird calling her She broke up with me." Matt says to Bonnie

"Give it more time. Matt" Bonnie says to him as he see Elena walks in the grill with Stefanie

"More time Huh?" Matt replies as he gets up and walks up Elena and Stefan as Caroline and Tyler watches him

"Hey, I'm Matt , nice to meet you" Matt introduces himself

"Hi, Stefanie " Stefanie greets him back shaking his hand as Matt looks at Elena

Rose

"What do you want?" Elena asked confused as Trevor unties her  "Shhh." Trevor replied

"Please, I'm hurt." Elena says

"I know" Trevor says  "Uh!" Elena responds

"Just a taste" Trevor says as he shows his vampire eyes and goes to bite her "No!" Elena yells in fright.

"Trevor." Rose says "Control yourself." Rose says to Trevor as he get up walking up to rose

"Buzzkill." Trevor says walking away as Elena is breathing heavily glaring at rose

  "What do you want with me?" Elena asks 

"My God. you look just like her." Rose told Elena

Elijah ask as Elena grabs the vervain grenade rips the pin (I don't know what it's called) and throws it in his face and ducks down as Elijah turns away and screams as he lifts his head and growls at Elena as his face heals quickly he walks up the stairs towards her as Stefan

Shot's Elijah in the chest with a wooden stake but it doesn't seem to be working Stefan tackles Elijah down on the stairs as Elijah gets up quickly looking down at Stefan Elijah walk towards Stefan just as Damon sticks the coat hanging into Elijah chest up against the wall as his body gets temporally desiccated rose then looks

At Elijah desiccated body then runs away Damon went to go after her "Just let her go." Elena says as she runs towards Stefan "Hey, come here. You hurt you okay? Stefan ask Elena as he hugs her back as Damon is looking at them in jealousy then Elena mouthing to Damon 'thank you' as Damon responds mouthing to her back saying 'your welcome' as he continues to look at them hugging each other as the screen goes black.

"We let Katherine come between us. We let that happen with Elena. we're not gonna be able to protect her." Stefan tells Damon.

"Yes. Stefan. Heard it all before." Damon says as drunk the rest of his drink walking away "Hey." Stefan calls out to damon "What?" Damon says turning around.

Rose says to Stefan as he looks down "And I don't wanna run anymore because I don't have anywhere else to run to." Rose explains to Stefan "Well, I'm sorry but I can't help you." "Why do you have to say it with my necklace?" Elena says (again it's Rebekah's)

"Well, because what I'm about to say is probably the most selfish thing I've ever said in my life." Damon said "Damon. don't go there," Elena says "No. I just have to say it once." Damon said walking close to Elena

"You just need to hear it." Damon says "I love you. Elena" Damon says (And there it is his confession)

"And it's because I love you that. I can't be selfish with you."

"And why you can't know this. I don't deserve you."

"But my brother does." As Damon kissed her on the forehead

"God, I wish you didn't have to forget this."

"But you do." as Damon stared into Elena eyes as Damon speed away before she opened her eyes Elena closed her eyes then open them seeing no one there but herself with the window open as she looks around then says on the edge of her bed.

Elijah wakes up and had a glare on his face as his skin turns back to the original color as he pulls the coat hanger from his chest dropping it on the floor.

Jeremy/Kol: Boyfriend & Best Friend Drama

“Jeremy stop.” You say between kisses, that you and your boyfriend has been sharing since he came to your house.

“Why?” He asked panting. You were laid on bed with Jeremy leaning on the bed with one hand so he wouldn’t crush you, while the other moved down your side.

“Kol will.” Kiss. “Here any.” Kiss. “Moment and I.” Kiss. “Don’t want him to.” Kiss. “Walk in on us like this.” Jeremy started to kiss down your neck sucking and licking at your soft spot.

“I don’t know how you can be friends with him.” Jeremy stated and moved back to your lips, but you stopped him before he could kiss you.

“Jeremy we talked about this.” You told him sad that your boyfriend and best friend don’t get along that much.

“Okay fine, now let me kiss you before he steals you for the rest of the day.” And you let him, you pulled him down by his hair and pressed your lips to him and they started to move in sync. He moved his hand under your shirt and you moaned and arched your back, not breaking the kiss.

“(y/n) What’s going-“ You quickly break away from Jeremy to see Kol standing in your room’s door way. “Ew, what are you doing?”

“Um, kissing my boyfriend?” It comes out like a question, and something quickly flash through Kol’s eyes but it goes as soon as it appears.

“On your bed we sat on that bed so many times, god only know what else you did.” He said and crunched his face in disgust. “You know what I changed my mind I don’t want to go out today.”

“Kol come on.” You whine a bit and get of the bed.

“No enjoy your time with your boyfriend, sucking each other’s faces.” Kol said and before you could blink he was gone.

“What was that?” You didn’t really wait for an answer from Jeremy, but you were surprised when he did answer.

“You’re absolutely clueless.” Jeremy stated and shock his head.

“What?” You asked dump found.

“Kol Mikaelson the original ass likes you.” You laughed at your boyfriends words.

“You can’t be serious Kol doesn’t like me.” You grinned.

“Yes he does, I don’t know how you missed it but he does like you.” Jeremy said with a straight face and a tone without any trance of joking. Your grin dropped. “He was clearly jealous when he saw us kissing.”

“Do you really think so?” You asked Jeremy in a quiet voice.

“Yes.” Jeremy said nervously.

“Why are you nervous?” You asked and looked down at him as he was still sitting on your bed.

“I… I just don’t want you to leave me for him.” He said in a small voice.

“Oh baby I wouldn’t, no matter what I love you and only you.” You walk up so you’re standing between his legs and run your hand through Jeremy’s hair.

“I love you too.” Jeremy said and you hug his head to you while Jeremy wraps his hands around your waist. You kiss his head and sigh.

“I think I should talk to Kol.” You told Jeremy.

“Do you want me to come with you?” Jeremy asked and he stood in front of you so you tilled your head up to look at him. You shook your head and smiled up at your boyfriend.

“No, Kol is my best friend. I’ll be fine.” You could tell that Jer was hesitant to let you go by yourself.

“I just don’t want him to steal you away from me.” Jeremy said after a moment of silence.

“Jer, baby don’t worry I love you and only you. Kol is nothing but a friend.” You said and kissed Jeremy to prove your point.

Before things escalate any farther you pulled away.

“I’ll call you after I finish with Kol.” You said, and kissed his cheek before leaving.

You got in your car and drove to the Mikaelson mansion. You didn’t bother knocking on the door, seeing as everyone who lived in this house was supernatural and they probably heard you driving up the driveway. You knew your way around the mansion very good, so you went straight to Kol’s room.

“Kol.” You said and knocked on the door. “Kol, can I come in?”

Suddenly the door swung open and before you stood Kol standing with blood running down his lips, you saw a movement from behind him. You looked and found and almost unconscious girl on the floor with blood on her neck.

“KOL! What did you do?” You asked your best friend and moved to help the poor girl. You helped her to her feet and you carried almost all of her weight. Kol stood watching you for a minute before he speeded to you and took the girl from you, he gave her his blood and compiled her to forget.

The girl left in a gaze, and Kol and I fell into an awkward silence.

“Kol, the reason I came here-“

“You and your boyfriend finished sucking faces I see.” Kol glared at you, and you frowned in confusing.

“What is your problem today?” You asked hi starting to get mad at his behavior.

“Nothing.” Kol turned to look out of his room’s window giving you his back.

“Clearly there’s nothing.” You said and when he didn’t say anything you took a deep breath and started to talk again. “Look, Jeremy and I talked and he seems to think of something and I don’t agree because we’re best friends but then you.”

“(y/n), you’re rambling.” Kol said quietly and turned to look at you. “What did you want to ask me?”

“Um, I was just wandering… well you see. Jeremythinksyoulikemebutidontagree.” You said the last yet important bit so fast that Kol didn’t understand. He gave you the WTF face and you sighed.

“Again but slowly this time.”

“Do you like me… more than a friend?” You asked and looked anywhere but him.

Kol didn’t answer right away. But when he did answer he shocked you.

“Yes.”

“Kol, why didn’t you tell me?”

“Because you’ve been with Jeremy since before I came into your life.” Kol said sadly. “And as much as I hate seeing you with him. I just want to see you happy, even though it hurts  me to see you with someone else.”

“Oh, Kol.” You walk up to him and hug him. “I’m so sorry you had to see me with him almost every day, I love Jeremy with all my heart but I care about you.”

“I know, and I understand.” You both let go of each other.

“Can i ask you why you like me though? I mean i’m human” You asked him wanting to know why an Original vampire liked you.

“Because, you’re amazing, you’re kind, thoughtful, understanding, and there’s not a bit of selfishness in you.” He told you and you blushed lightly. “I don’t care that you’re human, if you were a witch, werewolf or even a hybrid.i would’ve still felt the same.”

“Thank you.” You were speechless. “I want nothing between us to change, but I’ll be more considerate to your feelings from now on.” You promised him and gave him a weak smile.

“And that’s one of the reasons you’re my best friend.” Kol smirked slowly going back to his cheeky self. “And I wouldn’t lose you to the world.”

You gave him a small hug, and smiled.

“Now, I think we have a theater to go to and a film to watch and then dinner to eat.”

You both left the mansion to go do what you planed the day before.
