Obeisance to the Arrow - Noritoshi Kamo
#1 : Omiai
[You meet Noritoshi Kamo for the first time in your life at the age of 7. He sucks at making sandcastles.]
tw: arranged marriage au, forced marriage, child marriage (not yet but soon, my condolences), noritoshi x reader, no use of 'y/n'. fluff, angst (a little i suppose?), no smut
#2 : The Ring Ceremony
This Kamo boy was annoying you- he just couldn’t get the sandcastle towers correct. “Hey!” you yell out, “I’m telling you again, we only need one tower on each side, and not crooked like you are making, what are you even doing?”
He looks up at you. Perhaps. Under all the pin straight shoulder length hair and creased brows, you weren’t sure where his focus was.
“Kamo-san, I’m telling you, just do as I tell you to!”
Noritoshi had been playing house with a seven-and-a-half-year-old you for the past hour, outside your home. The Zenin estate, he mused, was large and luxurious, and clearly comfortable for you. Two maids watched over you two playing, following whatever you ordered them to. Guards patrol the periphery of the estate, just out of sight. Both the Zenin and Kamo families, discussing matters in the house overlooking your playground, cast a happy glance over you now and then. And you, a beloved daughter of the Zenins, have clearly no idea what is going on.
How should I break it to her? Noritoshi was significantly older than you; he was almost 12, and enrolled to start Jujutsu Tech School within the next coupe years. Should I even? Perhaps I should let her enjoy her life for now.
“Kamo-san” you were starting to bristle with anger, never having been ignored in your life. This guy can’t just come into your house and into your playground and then ignore you. “Kamo-san, what are you thinking about that is so important, huh?”
Noritoshi got up, accidentally breaking a sand-tower he had made to please you, and walked back towards the house, without a word. You stared at him, indignant. Fine, you thought, if he doesn’t want to play, he doesn’t play. Nii-chan will play with me. You ask a maid to bring her to you, and moments later she comes back with a worried looking Mai. “Is everything okay, Einstein-chan?”
You giggled at her as she took that idiot Kamo boy’s place. “Oh, is our little Einstein girl happy now?” She smiled too, pinching your cheeks. Of the twins, Mai was the one who doted on you. Maki was… distant, maybe? Not very interested, you suppose? It wasn’t yours to solve, so you didn’t care much about it, especially not when Mai would bring you sweets and flowers and play with you. Life was great. You were beloved, pampered and indulged in– what more could a child need?
“Nii-chan” you whined, trying to wheedle some sympathy chocolates out of her. “Kamo-san just left, and he broke my towers too.” But Mai, instead of being angry on your behalf, just laughed.
“You must forgive him, sweetcheeks, and also- don’t call him that. Say ‘Noritoshi-sama’, okay?”
“Don’t be overbearing, Mai”. You whip your head, where did Maki even come from? “Do you want to play too, nii-chan?”--you offered Maki.
“Hmm? What are you playing?”
“House, we’re making a castle and then we’ll make the princess and then rescue her, or burn her at the stake, whichever you like, nii-chan” You beam up at Maki, who doesn’t return the enthusiasm one bit, in fact, she whistles and crouches down to your level. Mai tells her to stop, don’t do anything rash, please don’t make matters worse, please don’t, but Maki doesn’t seem to even hear it. The maids around you look a bit, what is that emotion? Perturbed? But you can tell, having no power to stop Maki, they do their best to look away, as if they were no witness or accomplice to whatever Maki has planned. Panic hits you all of a sudden, what’s happening? What’s wrong?
And then Maki says, “Why don’t you go up to the house and show everyone your talent?”
Mai is angry at Maki, she says something harshly, the maids, where are they? The sandcastle breaks as you gingerly step over it, over the playground, to the house full of your whole family, the Kamo family, they are all laughing and drinking and talking and there is your mother, in the corner, and your father, stamping his sign on papers amid cheers and pats to his back, and there is the Kamo boy, there is Noritoshi-sama.
Cursed Technique: Distillation
Time pauses. So does everyone and everything. The papers your father is stamping is regarding the distribution of the conjoined assets of the Kamo and Zenin clans after your marriage. Naoya, your cousin, is congratulating your father, but he’s not very happy actually, he had wanted to marry you eventually. The Kamos are demanding a dowry of 40 million yen for Noritoshi’s Blood Manipulation technique, but Grandpa Naobito is refusing thoroughly, and demanding an equal bride price of 47.5 million yen: 40 million for your Distillation technique and 7.5 million for your youth. The sake they are drinking was chosen by Noritoshi’s step-mother. The ring ceremony is in three months from now, and the wedding when you reach menarche. Your family is really happy. The Kamos are begrudgingly happy. Noritoshi has accepted his fate, no further opinions beyond that. You are to be married to Noritoshi Kamo.
—-
The words of delight seeing you in the room start falling silent when you start wailing, sobbing, screaming. You just stand there and cry loudly, the way little children do. Your mother promptly picks you up, apologizes, and whisks you away. As you walk away, still crying, you hear your family try to soothe the situation, hearing phrases like: “ …gets overwhelmed using her cursed technique…” “ …just a child, hahaha, got shy…” “... yes yes, too shy, a young bride, hee-hee, what a cutie …” and you begin to cry even harder.
If the Kamos were disturbed at the impolite interruption, nothing came of it. You were arranged to be given in marriage to Noritoshi Kamo, in a few years from now on.

A/N: I'll explain Distillation further dw, tho it is pretty clear even now, lemme know if i should tag you!
chapter 2 : The Ring Ceremony
Obeisance to the Arrow - Noritoshi Kamo
#2 - The Ring Ceremony
[noritoshi kamo, 12 is engaged to his bride, 7. gojo satoru says hi.]
tw: forced marriage, child marriage (yes I'll age my characters up, let's have the angst for now), angst, Zenin clan being Zenin clan, noritoshi x reader, no use of 'y/n', fluff a bit, no smut.
#1 - Omiai #3 - Menarche
Growth happens sporadically. For example, you had not grown much in the first eight years of your life. Not much reason to, really. Your cursed technique became clear surprisingly early, at about 3 years of age, and since then you had lived the proper Zenin life. One of abundance, joy and familial love. If you said you wanted that cake, or that flower, or this or that, you had it in your hand immediately. Your father even talked about you being the clan head someday, impossible as it sounded to you.
It wasn’t like you didn’t know anything about the flip side of it. Your dearest cousins Maki and Mai weren’t as special as you, you noticed. Nor was your mother as important as your father, in fact no aunty or grandma were as important as their husbands. But you were special. Surely you were.
There had been talks about your powers recently, before the Kamos visited you. Your family, the whole horde of them, would test you. It wasn’t very difficult. Curses would be brought out and you would have to use Distillation to choose the best cursed weapon to kill them. You would be shown a missing person report, you had to figure out where the person was. A funner game was the Maze Game, where Grandpa Naobito would leave you in a maze, or labyrinth, or anywhere you didn’t really know, and you would have to find your way out. Compared to school, this was actually more exciting to do. Especially the praise you would get afterwards from everyone. The prodigy of the family. The princess of the castle.
You, idiot child you were, never really wondered how your family would react if you had happened to fail the tests. You never failed. You never disappointed.
So it was quite sobering to be sitting in the Pit of Punishment after your attempt to run away. A failed attempt. You were disappointing both yourself and the Zenin clan.
Naoya Zenin was lounging near the door, not actually letting the curses eat you – just enough to scare you. It was working. You were fucking terrified really, but somehow your cousin being there allowed you to not piss your pants. Naoya was a kind man.
Mai. Mai come save me. Please. Nii-chan, please come, I can't move. Maki, mother, father, grandpa, please help me. someone, please, help me out.
“Really, little Zenin- oh, should I call you Kamo now?” He laughed. “Is this any way for a lady to behave?”
I’m 8, idiot. What lady are you talking about?
Was it the ten minutes you spent in the pit, or the past two months of lady-training (as you called it), that made you grow up so fast? Somehow, after your marriage was fixed, handling tea-sets and cooking tamagoyaki became insanely important. But the worst was the lessons on womanly etiquette, on the ways of wifely manners, behaviours and duties. Unlike you, Maki and Mai were free to do as they liked, talk about being sorcerers and travelling to America. Not even they helped you, no one did. Hence came the plan Run-Away-From-Home. You got surprisingly far actually. Distillation was great for this: you could see every lapse in your home security, everything that you needed to carry, every route you should take. You had made it to the Kyoto train station before your family could get a hold of you.
No longer were you a precious child, but you never really were, were you? You were nothing more than a lucky asset to have. The Zenin clan did not hesitate to earn the returns on you as soon as possible. Unfortunately soon. You are eight.
Naoya walks down the steps into the Pit where you lay curled in a foetal position and prods you with his finger. “Up, Kamo-chan” He grins, “Back to your chambers”. The curses melt away into the darkness.
The days go by in a blur. Obedience, subservience, wifely duties, be agreeable, be quiet, be attentive, the domain of the kitchen and bedroom, marriage, husband, Noritoshi Kamo. You want to drive a machete through that man’s chest. He’s the cause of all this, yes, it’s all his fault. Now that your marriage has been fixed (and a bride price of 60 million yen wrestled from the Kamo clan) there isn’t actually any care or concern for your previously much praised cursed technique. When you think about it, it isn’t really great in any way, is it? Distillation allows the user to understand everything within the span of their eyesight. Every question answered, every mystery solved, the cloudy waters distilled – as long as you can see it. You suppose Sherlock Holmes would love this power, but you are fated to be a wife and mother, nothing more. Maybe it’ll help you find the broom closet faster. The days and months are all plagued by the same thing: Noritoshi Kamo.

Satoru Gojo walks about the lavishly decorated garden. Megumi would’ve liked the food, he muses, his stark white mop reflecting sunlight over the heads of the celebrating crowd. A Kamo-Zenin engagement, and all the festivities that came with it. Ah, the celebrations of higher-ups, nothing gets them happier than child marriage. Thank fuck I saved Megumi. He didn’t have much choice in attending this. As the Gojo clan head, there are some things you must do, regardless of personal feelings. To not rock the boat. To keep the status quo as it is.
The ring ceremony is over, bride-to-be and groom-to-be having identical rings on their hands now, and they have retired back into the inner chambers of the Kamo estate. Blood Manipulation and Distillation? Satoru smiled, worth a visit.
Satoru Gojo wasn’t expecting any resistance from anyone, because A. he’s Satoru Gojo and B. he wasn’t technically doing anything wrong per se, it’s just that people distrusted his movies meeting the young couple. For good measure, what if I teach the kids the concept of free will?
He found the two sitting by themselves on a veranda, apologising to each other about the marriage. Clearly, people were too busy merry-making to notice the runaway pair. Besides, where would they even run away to? There is nowhere to go. Satoru frowned. They’re too young to be behaving like this.
“Ah, young love!” He happily startled the two with his sudden appearance, “Do you two turtle-doves have space for a dashing older brother like me?”
They did not return his wide grin and wider arms. Satoru watched as recognition clicked onto both their faces (your father had shown you two a picture of Satoru Gojo and told you to avoid him). The Kamo boy, a lean young man of 12, got up slowly and bowed to him, welcoming him with such formal words. The Zenin bride, a literal child of maybe 8, nodded her head, trying to quickly hide her tears. She said nothing, seemingly hiding behind her brand-new fiancé.
Satoru laughed at the sight. One day I’ll grind down these motherfucking old ass clans who do this shit to kids, I swear to myself. “Scared of me, little brat?” The poor child, look at her. “Aren’t you the sorcerer with the immense Distillation technique?”
You glance up at him, eyes still watery. Gojo Satoru is startling to look at. Shocking white hair, a full head taller than most people, blindfolded in broad daylight, the palest skin on his handsome features. And his abounding cursed energy, it stuns (and maybe scares) you. The blindfold doesn’t stop much, his gaze can be felt searing into your skin. There is nothing you can do. Helpless, pitiful, sold like sheep by your own family. And yet–
“Immense?”
“Aren’t you the one with all the answers? A prophet of sorts, no?”
What? In all your life, you had never thought of things like that– Could you? Were you?
“Her technique is brilliant, Gojo-sama.” Noritoshi lends a hand. “The way I understand it, a bit like your Six Eyes, yes?”
And before you could remember your wifely training, you found yourself contesting him. “Not really, the Six Eyes help him see, in the physical sense. I understand things that aren’t there really. For example, Gojo-sama can see me through my wataboshi, I am certain, but I can see Gojo-sama’s thoughts on this wedding.” Despite everything, you can't not be you.
Satoru claps his hands together, “Perfect explanation, even though that was a bit creepy” He laughs. “Can you really hear my thoughts?”
“I’m not sure”
“Try–”
Cursed Technique: Distillation
The crowds outside suddenly falls quiet, so do the other two in your room. There is no movement, no sound, no thought except for yours. Satoru Gojo’s formal shirt is from Junya Watanabe’s recent Summer Collection. His molars hurt because he ate too much daifuku at the dessert station. He disapproves of your marriage, but this is a hill that he cannot die on. He’s had some meaty ginger chicken packed from lunch for his adopted son, Megumi Fushiguro. He thinks Noritoshi is too tall and too mature for his age. He truly is impressed to see your technique. He thinks this is all nonsense, and that you are a child, and that you should enjoy your youth to the fullest as a young girl, not as a wife. He promises that no matter what, he will arrange for you to attend Jujutsu Tech School.
—--
Satoru Gojo left soon after. After a long time, you saw hope in your future.

Obeisance to the Arrow - Noritoshi Kamo
#5 - Man and Wife
[ the day of your wedding ceremony ]
[ tw : noritoshi kamo x reader, child marriage, arranged marriage, 1100+ words ]
#4 - Cursed Bride #4.5 - Sweet Dreams #6 - Husbandly Duties
Noritoshi Kamo’s heart sank into the pits of his stomach the moment he saw you. She’s still a kid??
Somehow it hadn’t clicked in his head as of yet. Going from 12 to 17 was essentially a different lifetime, from a kid to an adult almost. He had, subconsciously, put that same expectation for you too. A wrong one, obviously. He watched you fuss over your lunch and complain about your wedding dress. She’s still a goddamn kid.
He tried to pick some fried shrimp onto his plate. This is his wedding luncheon. He finds the words a bit disorienting to think about. His. Wedding. Luncheon. The only one he’ll ever have. For the rest of his life. Happening right now. He focuses on the shrimp to make sure he doesn’t start sweating.
He’s played his part perfectly. A flawless young prince: dashing, sweet and strong. The wedding rituals done, pictures taken, the high and mighty of jujutsu world merry-making. Mother’s not here. He looks over at you, sitting next to him, chatting along with his female cousins. You look pretty. You’ve just turned 14 a few days ago. You’re his married wife now.
Even though you both have acted as elegantly as you should, he still could not stop cringing inwardly when he had to greet his friends. The Kyoto students had come as one group, except for Mai, who was with the Zenin Clan (said Zenin Clan did not interact very much with you, as Noritoshi had observed). The moment he’d spotted them approaching to give their regards to the married couple, Noritoshi had quickly whispered, “They’re my friends, be cool.” and you had whispered back “I don’t give a shit.”
The meeting was awkward, anyway. “Congratulations to the new Kamo couple!” Nitta was clearly given the role of leading this interaction. You two had gracefully bowed your regards. Momo and Miwa could not look him in the eye, even though they said that you were “very cute”. Todo and Noritoshi talked about the decor of the venue and the food options available. Nitta passed along a card from Mechamaru. They gave you a few gifts too, a tea-set and flower bouquets. Everyone was really relieved when new visitors arrived to greet you two, and the Kyoto team could leave for lunch.
Meeting Gojo-sama and Megumi Fushiguro was awkward too. Even though the three of them had met before, you were unaware of Megumi’s existence. “Ah, Megumi, meet your cousin, wait- you’re his aunt, right?” Gojo-sama had declared. Both you and Megumi had stared at each other in shock for a second, before quickly recovering your composure, you as a polished bride and him being Megumi. “Hello, Megumi-kun, I hope that you are enjoying your time?” “Yes, thank you, it’s very nice here,” Megumi replied. Gojo elbowed him. “And my congratulations to both of you.” Both you and Noritoshi had bowed again at that, so well-trained. It was awkward. They left too afterwards.
“I have a secret nephew?” you had whispered to Noritoshi. “How come you know my nephew and I don’t?”
“It’s complicated.” Noritoshi had whispered back.
The knot in Noritoshi’s stomach kept twisting itself tighter, even though he didn’t let it show. As per traditional norms, a boy gains maturity at 16 and a girl at 15: he was an adult marrying a kid. Everyone understood that this wasn’t a choice for him, but he still felt some rude stares coming his way during the Sankon no Gi ceremony. Clearly, watching you two drink sake from the same cups made people feel … bothered? A bit? This was a bit too intimate, something which was okay between husband and wife, but not between an adult man and a young girl. No one raised any heckles, of course. But Noritoshi felt his embarrassment burn inside all the same. This wasn’t a choice for either of you.
You hadn’t resisted a bit throughout the day. You played the part of a bride just as you had been taught to. Even as the day ended, and you both were ushered into his room with a lot of giggles from the tipsy Kamo family, you seemed to simply resign to your fate.
Compared to your previous chambers, you mused, Noritoshi’s room was incredible. He had a low bed, a few futons and chaise lounges on the floor, a large TV, a separate wardrobe and changing area, in-suite washrooms, a bookshelf, an aquarium, and even a veranda overlooking his private garden. Noritoshi sat in front of a mirror, taking his hair out of the topknot.
“We’re not fucking.” You suppose it’s best to get it out of the way as soon as possible.
He makes a disgusted face at you. “Of course not,” he replies easily. She’s such a child. “Do make sure you drop a bit of your blood on the sheets though, otherwise they’ll just bother us unnecessarily.” You just shrug.
God. The realisation had suddenly struck him. She’s not a child– it’s so much worse. She's a teenager.
“I’m gonna use the washroom now, so don’t bother me.” You declared, climbing out of your ornate wedding kimono. “And then I’ll take the bed, because I’m a lady, and you can take the futon. Also, I didn’t get to eat dinner, so I want a bowl of oyakodon topped with sriracha.”
Just a week of this and then I’ll be back in school. In his melancholy about the whole wedding thing, it had slipped his mind that you were, ultimately, a spoilt rich teenager. A Zenin at that. He got up to tell the cooks to make your food – “Hey! Don’t open the door when I’m undressing! Dumbass!”
—--
It’s 2 am and Noritoshi is genuinely impressed that you can sleep so carefree. How has the fundamental weight of being a married woman at the age of 14 not hit you? Do you not realise what this means for your future? Do you not realise that you have effectively been trapped into being a housewife and broodmare? Do you understand that you have no rights over yourself anymore? Noritoshi can’t sleep a wink, and it’s not because of the futon. He gets up and walks over to the bed; there you are sleeping soundly, not a single worried thought in your head. And then it hits him. She’s gonna make a run for it.
You don’t care for your inevitable terrible married future because you’re not planning to face it.
After a minute of astounded consideration on this topic, Noritoshi decides that it's not the kind of thing he wants to bother himself with at this time of the night. You surely aren't going anywhere tonight- he would wake up before you set a foot off the bed. He just goes back to the futon to lie down again. If his wife ran away from him, it would be a big scandal, but quite frankly, he was certain that his family would never let that happen. Besides, where will she run off to? He yawned. It was pretty late. Let that little brat do what she does. Not like anything much will come out of it.

If the reader (CT: Distillation) ever gets a Domain Expansion (highly unlikely tho, its mentioned that it's like the pinnacle of sorcery and like 99% sorcerers don't have it, it's a bit unrealistic, but it's my fiction anyway) it would be a plain white sphere where the victim is bombarded with confusion. White is the distilled essence of all colours. Distillation allows the user to understand everything the eye can see. The victim of the DE gets the opposite end of the stick: since all they can see is plain white nothing, they understand nothing that's happening leading them to remain in a confused hazy state. Sorta like a drug trip where nothing makes sense.
How Was Noritoshi Kamo Found To Have Blood Manipulation?
[ 860+ words | part of Obeisance to The Arrow Universe | fluff, angst, canon-compliant | tw: adultery, misogyny, blood, Kamo sr. is a fuckwad]
Who was Ms. Kanagusuku? For starters, she was a bold spirit who left her little backwater village after high school for the spicy flashy metro city life. She was then the tired waitress who locked eyes with the handsome older man at his event (said event being the 100 Day Celebration of his son). A number on a napkin, a meeting in a bar, a walk along the river that carried the same name as that gentleman- Kamo. She was the young homewrecker whose guilt melted as his unhesitant lips warmed her neck, her fingers twined around the strands of his long hair. She was the dumb fucking clown who believed him when he said, “My wife? Don’t even take her name, she’ll never understand me the way you do” and “You’re different, sweetheart, you’re the only one for me. I’ll leave her the second I can” and “You don’t want to get involved with my family, it’s too complicated there” and “Keep the baby, my darling, we’ll raise him together, we’ll get married and be a happy family.”
Not like any of that happened. But that was all years ago. Right now, Ms. Kanagusuku is a damsel who stubbed her toe and is writhing in pain on the kitchen floor.
I know this is all karma for what I did, but isn’t it getting a bit too much?
“Mama?” Noritoshi’s voice calls out from the living room. “Are you okay?”
At least, at the very least, I’ve still got my son.
Her bright-eyed and soft-cheeked little boy doesn’t wait for her to reply as he comes running to her, eyes widening when he notices her like that. Her broken toenail is bleeding all over.
“Mama, you’re hurt!” He’s almost in tears, poor child, as he softly picks up her hand in both of his and kisses it, exactly the way she does to him when he gets a boo-boo. He doesn’t know how to help other than that. “Mama, Mama, it’s ok.” He’s distraught, sniffing his tears in. “Just fix your blood, okay?”
Fix my blood? “I’m fine, baby. I just shouted because I was surprised, it doesn’t actually hurt.” Ms. Kanagusuku lies. “I’ll bandage it now, don’t worry.”
Noritoshi shakes his head. “Fix your blood first, Mama. You’re so red everywhere.” He chokes back a sob.
“How do you fix blood, son?” His father’s voice drawls lazily. For someone who promised to give her the moon, he hasn’t even put down his magazine to help her up. “Go wash the blood off, you’re scaring him.”
“I can’t fucking walk.”
“God!” Kamo slams the magazine down, having to help her stumble into the bathroom. “Don’t curse in front of him!”
Little Noritoshi is still sniffling when his dad picks him up. However harsh he is to his mistress, he’s always been a good father. That, and the fact that Kamo pays for everything, is the only reason, Ms. Kanagusuku tells herself as she washes the blood off her foot with a wince, that she tolerates the way he acts towards her.
“Toshi, when you grow up don’t be a crybaby like your mother, alright?” His dad doesn’t come by often, only about twice a week around dinner time, and is always gone by the time he’s awake the next morning. Even though he’s worried sick about his mother’s leg, it’s nice to be held up like this. “Ah, I forgot,” Kamo laughs. “How do you fix blood, huh, silly boy?”
“You pull it back in so it's not bloody anymore.”
Kamo freezes. Ms. Kanagusuku, clouded in her own pain, misses the moment when Noritoshi’s life tips over.
"Can you do that?"
"Papa?"
“You can pull your blood in?”
“Yeah, Papa.”
Kamo Sr. runs to get a sewing needle, dips it in his beer, and sticks it into his son’s trembling fingertip. If he flinches because the needle went deeper than he thought, Kamo ignores it. Noritoshi’s blood drips down his finger like tears.
“Show me that you can fix it.” It’s a command but his father’s voice is light. The child is scared of things he doesn’t understand yet.
Yet he obeys. He scrunches his eyes shut tight and wishes really really hard that his wound gets fixed. What he does, subconsciously, is manipulate the leaked blood back into his veins and increase the platelet count to seal the injury. When he opens his eyes a second later, his wound has scabbed over, and his father is bear-hugging him so tight that his ribs hurt. “I'm so proud of you, my son. I’m so proud to be your father.” Noritoshi’s six-year-old head is spinning. “You’re a godsend, you don’t even understand. Noritoshi-” He says, “-wake up early tomorrow, we’ll go out, yes, son?”
Ms. Kanagusuku is still in the bathroom. Of all the things that she is, she is ignorant of the fact that this is her last day with her son. She doesn’t know that tomorrow, Kamo Noritoshi will be packaged in an expensive kimono and presented to the Clan as the heir. She doesn’t know that they will be torn apart like grass in the wind, and will only see each other after 12 years. She doesn’t know that the memory of this day will haunt him for the rest of his life.
a/n: at the time of their meeting, Kamo’s father was 30 and his mother was 19. So at the point of this fic, his mother would be 25 and his father 36. Kanagusuku is an Okinawan surname; she was a new kid in mainland Japan who thought she was living her own Cinderella story finding Kamo Sr. but it was actually more like The Conjuring. he gets away with abusing her because he's got her trapped. the only way she can leave is by letting go of her son too, which she eventually does as we know in canon. also the fact that she keeps her Okinawan version of her surname instead of changing it to Kaneshiro, which is the Japanese version of the name, to fit into Kyoto society, says something about her. on one hand, she is a homewrecker who fucked a married man knowing full well what she was doing. on the other hand... does she actually deserve all this?
this is very important to me that u picture takumi from nana when u think of Kamo Sr.

High school Nanami x reader<3
"NANAMI!"
Your voice broke the silence Nanami Kento once held so dear, a lonely aspect of his life you seemed to be slowly melting away like the snow receding at his feet in the warm spring air.
Ever since he started as a first year at Jujitsu tech you had been slowly breaking down the walls that he put up. Usually he was annoyed by people with upbeat attitudes and a generally positive outlook on the world, like his upperclassman Gojo Satouru who could could not stand for the life of him. But you, you we're different.
When you said his name if felt like he was the only thing in the world, he felt so special when you talked to him, and only him. When you dragged him by his hand to do things he wouldn't have normally done, going to the vending Mac with friends or watching a movie.
Everything you did, especially that voice of yours constantly calling out "Nanami!" He could barely handle it, he couldn't keep the blush from spreading across you his face, that might be the only part of you that annoyed him, and it wasn't even your fault.
"Hey Nanami what's up"? Your voice and a hand on his shoulder brought him back to reality.
"Oh hey y/n" he muttered looking away embarrassed from your face that was inches away from his
"Hey what's wrong?" You pouted, suddenly reaching your hand forward to brush his bangs out of his face.
"Wha-what are you doing?!" He said whipping his face to look right into your
"That's better" you smiled sweetly before turning away from him
"Why the hell would you do that?" Nanami stammered
"Hmmm" you giggled a finger over your mouth "I guess I just wanted to see your whole face, you should wear your hair like that more, but I guess you do look nice either way huh?" Your smile was almost too much to handle
You were going to be the death of him.
(I'll write more later bc he's perfect 😘)
Soft Toji x reader
I love him <3
Toji Fushiguro never once thought he had even a chance of living a normal life with his two kids. That was until he met you.
You were so sweet he felt like he could pick you up and never let go. You were "too good for him" is what he always said, but I reality he prayed that you would never realize that and stay with him as long as he lived.
Toji never expected that half of the TV he consumed on a regular basis was now children's programming but now it was.
He never thought he would care enough to protect his kids from the reality of his line of work, but here he was. Hosing the blood of whoever he had taken care of that day off himself before he went inside.
He never expected to look forward to family dinners, telling Megumi to not play with his food. And afterward he never thought he would enjoy entertaining his two kids while you cleaned up the kitchen, gently swaying to the music that played on the record player.
He never thought seeing you gently singing Tsumiki to sleep in your arms while Megumi held your finger in his crib could make him so happy, but it did.
He was so happy to have this, so much so he couldn't believe he took it for granted. He loved when he took you all out to dinner and you fell asleep in the car ride home.
He loved being able to hold all three of you at once, to protect you, to protect them.
Toji Fushiguro never thought he would live a fulfilling life, but here he was.
hii can i pls request a scenario of gojo and the reader taking care of megumi after he got into a fight at school? megumi is all grumpy as the reader puts bandages on his small cuts and scolds him for getting into a fight while gojo just gives megumi a thumbs up from behind? LMAO
Omg so cuteee I love papa Gojo
Gojo "tries" and fails to discipline his kids
Domestic Gojo x reader fluff <3
You slowly pull into the parking lot of Megumi's school and wait for him and Tsumiki to get out of school. You weren't they're actually parent but when you had been raising them for years with your boyfriend Gojo Satouru, it sure felt like it.
You see them exit the school building, Megumi had his head down and Tsumiki waved to you as they walked over to the car.
As they got in and sat down you noticed a bandage on Megumi's cheek that wasn't there when he left this morning.
"So how was your day?" You said pulling onto the road
"Good" they both say
"Hey 'Gumi what's that happened to your cheek?"
"Nothing" he grumbled
You glanced at the rearview mirror and back to the road
"Tsumiki what happened?"
"Megumi got into another fight"
"you promised you wouldn't tell her!" Megumi yelled
"I never promised I just said I wouldn't tell her if she didn't ask!" Tsumiki retorted
"Ok both of you calm down" you chimed "I'm not mad 'Gumi just tell me what happened?"
"Uuugh it's just that some guys were acting like they were tuff around me and I wanted to put them in they're place is all"
"Megumi!" You scolded "That is not a good reason to get into a fight with someone and you know that"
He groaned and looked out the window
"Gojo and I are going to have a serious conversation about this when we get home" you sigh
Tsumiki chuckled as you made your way down the road to your home
Once you step in the door Gojo greeted all of you, giving you and Tsumiki a hug while Megumi pushed him away.
"Megs what happened?" Gojo asked with smirk on his face
"Well" you began "Megumi got into a fight at school today and-"
"MEGUMI I CAN'T BELIEVE IT" Gojo yelled
"I know that's why-"
"YOU LET 'EM HIT YOU!?!?" He pointed to the bandage on his face "I thought I taught you better than that?!?"
"Hey hey hey!" You interrupted "that is NOT the point of this conversation Megumi hit someone"
"Several people actually" Tsumiki added
Megumi glared at her
"That's even worse!!"
"I mean geez Megs you really let some rando lay a swing on you?" Gojo continued
"It was just because he came up from behind me when I was fighting another guy" Megumi rolled his eyes
"I mean still-"
"Both of you stop!" You said exasperatedly "Gojo you need to tell Megumi what he did was wrong" you whipped your head towards the trouble maker himself "and you need to apologize to those kids tomorrow"
"Aww babe come onnn" Gojo gave you his puppy eyes "kids will be kids ya know? Remember how much you used to punch me when we were in high school? You were quite the ruckus yourself" he chuckled
"Ya ya whatever" you smiled, you just couldn't stay upset with you family around
Gojo pulled you into a hug with your back to the kids, he flashed a thumbs up and a smile to Megumi
"Alright what do you want for dinner?" you say turning around
"As long as Gojo doesn't cook" Megumi commented
"AFTER ALL I DO FOR YOU?!" Gojo cried
Haii me again >-< I just finished that first date story with gojo and it gave me a huge idea that I wanna request. How would it be to be dating Gojo (both Teen him and Older) and how would missions or the daily life be like, you can add things also if you wanna idm. Btw have an awesome day!!!
Gahh tysm for requestingg this is ADORABLE
everyday headcannons with Gojo <3
(Look at this goob)
Does NOT understand personal space
There's just no concept of that in his mind
He is glued to your hip, people joke that to find Gojo they should just look for you and he'll be one step behind
Constantly has those lanky arms draped around you whether your in an important meeting or just walking around Tokyo he's got an arm around your shoulder
He honestly prefers that to holding hands because he feels like he can protect you better
This goes without saying but infinity is always off around you, it doesn't matter how many times you tell him it's dangerous he won't listen
Constantly staring down ANYONE in your vicinity, like looking into their souls.
He's gotta make sure you're safe 😌
Biggest ego but the most fragile heart
If he hears someone say something like "why's that guy wearing a mask?" Or something little like that
He WILL be moping around so hard all day until you give a compliment to cheer him up
"Y/nnnnnn do you think I'm ugly"
"No of course not I wouldn't be dating you if I thought that now would I 'toru?"
"YAAAY"
And just like that he's back to normal
Going on missions with him is just something else because he will not let you do anything
He knows you can handle yourself but he's THE Gojo Satouru he has to show off a bit
Carries you around while obliterating curses like it's nothing
When you have to go on missions alone he is so so so so so worried, he begged the higher ups to let him go with you but they needed him to do something more important
A task which he competes as quickly and destructively as possible just so he can rush to where you are to make sure your safe
You two also constantly text eachother on missions to make sure you're safe
Gojo will text you in middle of exorcising a curse
Like he will be about to crush them, then he'll feel the buzz from his phone and pause EVERYTHING to text you back
The curse would be like "bro aren't you fighting me?!"
"Shhhh hold on bae texted"
Also constantly brags to his students about you and they are not interested but he keeps on going
I love this silly silly man😍🫶
Omggg i saw the new episode of jjk and it gave me such a big idea i think you'd love. Imagine one day sukuna finds his wife that he married thousands of years ago and due to their marriage his wife was granted immortality. And just like she never cheated or kissed another man just waiting for her husband to return and when they reunite (even if he doesnt say it) he is over the moon and just wants to never leave his wifes side ever again. Just much fluff and romance ahhhh
OMG THIS. THIS IS SO CUTE
Sakuna x reader fluff
Sukuna scoffed to himself, the boy had finally allowed him to take control after all this time. Even in this deep underground it felt good to feel the air on his face and not through that brat. He continued forward. Thousands of year of stored power and he had been reduced to a fraction of it, despite the immense power he held he couldn't help but miss the time when he ruled over the landscape, unchallenged.
He had a partner even, the one human who he couldn't bring himself to kill, the one he realized he couldn't live without. You had married him, been granted immortality by his hand, and still he had lost you. His last memory before being split and exorcised, was you running to him, crying his name. He was happy that was his last memory.
Sukuna tore himself from his own thoughts, they so often drifted to you but right now he wanted to use the small amount of freedom he was granted.
He moved his hand foreword, fire erupting from his fist as he threw the heat forward, it crashed through a wall, tunneling through the train station. He heard peoples screams like music to his ears, he walked foreword through the rubble. People ran, screaming, away from him. Fire cast from all around him, bursting every human in his sight into flames, he hummed contently to himself.
"S-Sukuna?" A feeble voice trembled from beside him
He knew that voice, he knew that voice, he slowly turned, a truly befuddled expression on his face, his lip curled as he dare not get his hope up but...
There you were, you looked exactly as gorgeous as the last moment he saw you, nothing changed, your clothes were more modern of course but there was no mistaking it, you were here.
"I knew it was you!" you cried, tears streaming down your face. You threw yourself into his arms.
He was too stunned to speak, his arms unmoving, all he could he process was the blood running down your leg, he moved his arms to gently put you down,
"Sakuna-"
"Did I do this to you?" He asked, his hand moving down to your leg, activating he reverse curse technique to heal the gash. He just couldn't believe that he had hurt you, it had been 1000 years and the first thing he did was hurt you
"Oh my love don't worry about that now" you smiled gently, you had always forgiven him no matter what he did
You moved a hand to his face to gently tip his head to look at you.
"I thought you would have found someone else by now, had a family moved on, I mean I'm sure you have" his voice grumbled low in his throat
"I would never" you leaned your forehead against his "I haven't touched a single souls since I lost you, I-I knew you would come back just like you promised"
Sakuna remembered the promise he had made to you that dim moonlit night, on the engawa of the palace you shared, that he would never leave you, even if the world fell apart he would always find you.
"I've missed you" he whispered moving his lips to kiss yours, he moved back to take in your entire person
"Your as beautiful as the day I lost you" he breathed
You smiled sweetly
"What the hell is going on?!?-" the onlooker was silenced as his head burst into flames
You continued to smile as if it was nothing
He picked you up bridal style, "we'll go find the house we used to share" he smirked to you
"I'd like that" you giggle
'Hey what the hell is going on' the brat who's body he had been forced to posses voice rang out in his head
Sukuna slapped his face "just shut it would ya" he growled to himself
"What was that?" you questioned from his arms
"I have a lot to explain" he breathed out
haiiii iam in a request fever ughhh. Are you capable of doing a part 2 of the sukuna request i made some time ago? U can decide whatever u wanna put in it
Omg ofc! I'm finally free from my finals so dw!
Sakuna x reader fluff (p2)
Sukuna held you close to his chest as he exited the subway station through the convenient blast hole he had made earlier. He couldn't stop looking at you, how could he? When he had lost you so long ago he couldn't help but be captured by your eyes.
He didn't show it but on the inside he couldn't be more excited. You could finish the life you had begun together, some where quiet, where he could protect you and you could live out your days.
There was just one problem...and that was the idiot brat who's body he was stuck in.
"Love, is something wrong?" You asked bringing a hand to his cheek
He smiled down at you "no, it's just well- the whole reason I'm here is because I was brought back to life by inhabiting this stupid kids body"
"I was going to say you look a bit different" you chuckled, tracing you hands over the tattoos that adorned his face, "missing a couple arms"
"Yeah yeah" he grumbled "just don't know what I'll do with him"
"Why don't you just stay as you are, like don't let him have control" you asked
'Leave to you to say something so menacing with a smile' he thought to himself
"Yeah I could but his voice is still in my head. He's here for the long run just inside of me"
"What does he say?" You questioned
"Mostly just what the hell?! and who the hell is this?! and are you serious?!, shit like that"
"Let's not worry about that now then" you giggled "if he can't do anything let's just focus on what's next"
"Hmmm well we could return to where our old house was in Kyoto"
"Yeah but the world has changed a lot, sorcerers will be after you once they figure out you've left Shibuya"
"I won't let the bastards touch me" Sukuna scoffed "now that Gojo Satorou has been sealed no one can rival my strength"
"Well I could have told you that" you said bringing your head up to meet his lips in a gentle kiss
It had been centuries since you had shared a kiss with anyone, after you lost your love you didn't dare to touch another. You couldn't get over him and knew deep down that one day he would return to you.
Sukuna grabbed the back of your neck and deepened the kiss, he missed the way you lips fit perfectly against his.
"How will we get to Kyoto?" You asked, mouth moving against his lips
"I'll handle it" he murmured, kissing you once more as he stepped out of the veil and left the ruins of Shibuya behind him.
(I'm going to make a part 3 where they are back at their house and living happily ever after so stick around🫶🫶)
Part 1⬇️⬇️
~Everything~
Please lord I will love this man till my dying breath, he is everything to me
kinda angsty but it's sweet I promise <3
Nanami Kento, the man who swore he would never have another light in his life, not after Hibara, he couldn't bear to hold someone so close again.
Yet you came into his life, from the moment he laid eyes on you he could have sworn his heart stopped, or maybe it was just that it hadn't beat for another person in so long it was too unfamiliar for him recognize.
You weren't a light, no, you were the full force of the sun. A sun that had thrown itself into his life before he had time to put up his walls.
And every time he tried to build them up again, tried to keep you out, you came and tore them down, and he let you. He's not sure why he let you, he could have yelled at you and pushed you away, but he just couldn't bring himself to do that.
No, that would impossible for a man as weak as him, though it was true any man would crumble in the embrace of your arms. Which is why he was even more smitten with the fact that you decided he was worth loving. When so many people viewed him as impossible, and in truth he believed he was. He was blunt, stoic, and hardly cheery to be around.
But then again you saw him as worth loving, or at least trying to love, and that was enough for him.
He never felt he would be enough for you, but on those nights, when he shuffled onto the train after work. Letting the rhythmic sway of the cars lull him into a blank state. When the only clear thought he could form was of you.
When he turned the keys in the lock and slowly opened the front door. When all of a sudden he could hear the rapid padding of feet across the floors of your shared home. As they rounded the corner and got closer, and closer. When he could finally see your shining face and your arms stretched out towards him from one of his old shirts, the sheer size of it dwarfing you.
When he could hear your voice calling to him, saying his name happier than he thought it was even possible for people to be when around him. Practically singing every salable as you leapt into his arms and threw your face into the crux of his neck.
When you stayed there and nuzzled into him as he tried to regain some form of consciousness after being amazed by your sheer presence. When he could crumble to the floor and hold you so impossibly close to him that you thought he would absorb your very being.
And in essence he was, drinking up every sliver of kindness you gave him, every moment of happiness he thought he would never have.
When he can whisper into your ears, in that impossibly deep and smooth voice "I love you", he would scream it to the world if he could, but indeed he already had, his lips brushing against the shell of your ear.
Yes, on those nights Nanami Kento felt like something, because you made him feel like he was everything. And he was, he was everything to you and for him that was enough for him.

Pair: Mafia Jungkook x F Reader
Summary: Jungkook was wandering the streets in the middle of the night and coincidentally passed the little flower shop you work at. Due to your odd working hours, you don’t have much socialising on a daily basis much less customers. Never would you have thought that the polar opposite of the worlds would collide and cause such a trouble.

Jungkook trudged back to his room. After your incident two days ago, he refused to bathe in his own bathroom. It was bad enough that every morning when he entered, he was reminded of how much later he could have gotten in. Reminding him that if it wasn’t for Yoongi Hyung, you would have already been ashes in an urn by his bedside table.
He had opened a search to find out your details.
Your address, your family, your friends, everything that they could possibly find. And as he read through the consolidated efforts of his men, there were just too many things that didn’t make sense to him. But he knew better than to ask you now.
If you woke up, that is.
Doctor Eun had warned them to not panic if they were to take longer to wake up. He had explained that your body was weak and needed extra time to recover from what you have gone through. But it did not stop any of his Hyungs from barging into his room every day, ensuring that they check up on you. It soon became somewhat of a routine as his Hyungs constantly took turns to visit you every hour.
He threw his towel on the loveseat, walked over to push back the covers and slid under them. He then carefully adjusted the ruffled covers back over you, ensuring that they covered until your shoulders and still had more fabric as a leeway.
With a tired sigh, Jungkook smothered his face on his pillow and fell asleep with the blanket only hanging at his waist.
This was the second time you woke up in the same room. Lightheaded, you tried to get out of the bed.
“Exactly what do you think you’re doing?” A voice sounded beside you.
You turned, eyes blown wide as you anticipated the worst. The first thing you see is a head of messy hair, sticking in all directions before you notice the tired-looking eyes boring straight into your soul. The man lifted his arm and wrapped it around your waist, bringing you closer to the heat of his body.
You acted, throwing a punch directly to his face.
Bad move.
The man on your bed - technically not yours but who cares for technicality now - caught it and pinned you down with a flick of his wrist. Burrowing his head in your neck, you saw the strains of his shoulders. He wasn’t completely let go of his weight so…
“Who are you!” You pushed him away, hand going to the bedside table, trying to find anything that could be used as a weapon. The man quickly hopped off the bed, drawing the curtains as you squinted at the sudden attack of light. The room was so dark you could barely see a thing before. It wasn’t until your eyes finally adjusted to the difference did you see the moonlight shining through the sheer curtains, casting a light glow on your frames.
And it was also then did you realised who your bed partner was.
Jungkook.
The over-ecstatic bunny in the morning that refused to let you go.
Jungkook must have seen the recognition in your eyes as he slowly walked back to the bed, hands in the air in a surrender position.
"Hey, hey." Jungkook called out.
You weren't sure how trustworthy the men in this house were. God, you don't even know their names! You curled up in a sitting position at the edge of the bed, almost falling over. When Jungkook sat on the bed, you instinctively scooted backwards, clashing against the bedside table.
You squeaked in pain, holding your back, forgetting that there was nothing but the cold hard ground awaiting your downfall. Your eyes largened as you felt yourself falling back, hands flailing out, trying to grasp onto something - anything -
Strong arms wrapped your waist and pulled you forward. Your face smashed against a toned chest as you felt the blankets beneath you being pulled downwards and wrapped around your body. For the next few moments, the only sound in the room was your harsh breathing. It was so silent that you swore Jungkook could hear your heartbeat.
The both of you stayed in that position for a few minutes - or it could be hours or even just seconds - you didn't know. But you knew that the heat radiating from Jungkook's body was like a blasting furnace and you were warm. And when you are warm, you feel cuddly. And when you feel cuddly, you feel sleepy. Your eyelids grew heavier by the second and you closed them. You knew you shouldn't be so trusting but they have yet to do anything that caused you to feel wrong. Jungkook has yet to do anything that oppresses you. So you closed your eyes and leaned closer to him, cuddling deeper into his warmth and fell asleep.
That was the last thing you remembered before you woke up again, but this time, in the arms of a toned-ass man.
Jungkook.
Hell, now that the late morning sun is shining through the curtains, you are able to see what you weren't last night. Jungkook was without a shirt and the full glory of his slim waist and toned abs were fully on show for your innocent eyes to see. Well, you weren't that innocent. But you were still a lady - a woman - and you still had your needs that were obviously taken far too long to satisfy. But you weren't about to go imagining someone you can never get - you weren't about to hurt yourself again.
You were brought out of your wandering thoughts when the soft snores exiting Jungkook's plush bow-shaped lips reached your ears. A small smile lifted the edges of your lips as you sleepily yawned. Wiggling out of his hold - for God damn he is strong as a bull - proved to be harder than it seems. Jungkook's arms locked you in place and you couldn't seem to get out no matter how hard you tried to prod and push him.
"Mhmm, noooo." The man cuddling your back whined. "No, it's not time to wake up yet. Stop movingggg."
You didn't. Obviously.
The hold on your waist only tightened even further. "Stoooppp."
You pushed his hands off of you. "Jungkook, please." You resorted to begging him out. "I need to wee."
Jungkook's eyes shot open, hands immediately leaving you as you took that chance to leap out of bed and bound over to the washroom.
Jungkook swore he should've heard it wrong. Jungkook swore that he must have heard it wrong.
Nobody explicitly told you who he is. Nobody had given you enough pointers to let you know that he was the one who saved you in that alley. Not that he needed you to know. But he didn't know - oh, he should've expected it - for you to have been so smart. You figured it out so quickly - who he was.
Unbelievable.
But he needed to check. To know. To be sure - that what he heard was correct.
He saw your dishevelled state coming out of the washroom, hands going up to scratch your hair. While he had a massive bedhead, your hair looked like it was shinier after sleep. Oh, how he wished that he could have that sort of blessing too. Then he wouldn't have to take so much time to wash and style his hair every morning. He could just get out of bed and leave.
Your eyes made contact with his and immediately shot back down to the floor, suddenly feeling anxious. Your hands fiddled with the hem of his shirt as your teeth worried your bottom lip. Jungkook had to physically hold himself back from jumping right onto you. He wanted to take those soft, plump lips and give them a taste. He wanted to make sure they never get sore from you constantly biting them (Jungkook found out one of your habits now).
Jungkook pulled on his restraint string and blew a deep breath out. He walked over to you, hands going down to grasp yours in his. He turned your hands over in his, admiring the size difference. It wasn't big but it was enough to make him almost coo out loud.
"Hey now -" Jungkook started before your stomach grumbled.
The silence in the air was permeating.
Jungkook snorted, falling to the floor with laughter. By no means was he laughing at you. No, he was laughing at the situation - how your hunger had directly stopped him in the tracks of his confession. If anything, he felt like Jimin Hyung right now. He knew all too well how much he was always stopped in his tracks from doing things he best wished for for the sake of his job. But this was something different.
Jungkook looked up with teary eyes and spotted your slight pout, making him laugh even harder. As he slowly got up from the floor, he extended out his hand to you. “Come on, let’s go and get something for your ever-hungry system.”
Jungkook did not expect you to actually take his hand, let alone hold it the whole way down. But who was complaining?
Oh, definitely not him.
He led you to the kitchen and started rummaging through the fridge to find food. Finding a bag of opened buckwheat noodles, cucumber, seaweed flakes, eggs, and canned tuna, Jungkook decided to whip up a mean Memil Guksu (메밀 막국수). Jungkook whipped out Seokjin’s favourite pot and started boiling the water. After mastering the art of flourishing the noodles in the pot, JUngkook left them to boil as he combined all the sauce ingredients - soy sauce, tsuyu sauce, perilla oil, sugar, and roasted sesame seeds with a tablespoon of water. Then he chopped all the ingredients and placed them aside. After ensuring that the noodles are thoroughly cooked, rinsing them under cold water for a few seconds was a necessity.
Placing them in the bowls, Jungkook topped the noodles off with the sauce, sliced ingredients, and tuna, garnishing them with extra sesame seeds and a handful of seaweed flakes.
“Tada!” Jungkook placed the big metal bowl in front of you with chopsticks in hand.
You chuckled at his enthusiasm. Jungkook didn’t wait for anybody before he dug into his meal.
You had to admire this man’s spirit of trying to uplift you. Anyone could see that he was trying his best. But you didn’t know if you could. You felt… different - dirty.
You wanted it off but you -
“Hey.” Jungkook’s voice jolted you out of your thoughts. “You okay? Maybe you don’t like the food? Should I have Yoongi Hyung cook instead? Or maybe Jin Hyung? Or maybe you’re allergic to -”
You placed a soft hand on his shoulder. “It’s not you… It’s just…” Your hands fiddled with the hem of the shirt. You weren’t sure if you should be telling him this. He had no obligation to you and you shouldn’t be using him as a free-range therapist too. But you were just so tired of dealing with it yourself. “It’s just… I feel so…”
You didn’t really know how to express it in words.
Disgusted? Humiliated?
You felt the urge to scratch.
You weren’t sure how he was going to react when you told him. He saw you and saved you, but everyone can change in the blink of an eye. You aren’t sure how he would react. Would he cast you aside? Leave you for the wolves?
But on the other hand, why would you care? Why should you care? The both of you aren’t close. He saved you and now you can leave. So why do you feel so hooked?
“You don’t have to tell me if you don’t want to.”
You shook your head. “I want to. I just…”
Words won’t form.
“Okay… How about you show me instead if there are no right words? Sometimes words can be difficult, right?”
You nodded.
But how were you going to show him? Strip?
You hesitated again. How?
“The feeling - it -”
You tried to look at Jungkook, tried to gain some of his courage to say what you wanted to say. You worried yourself over him not accepting you but all you saw were open eyes. The windows were wide open like he was the one pouring his soul to you.
“Dirty.” You tucked your head down again. “Humiliated. I feel so… so… nasty… It - I wanted to stop it but I couldn’t! I tried - I tried - I didn’t want to -” You cried out. “I - I -”
Large palms ran up and down your shoulder in a light, soothing manner.
“Okay, I understand what you’re trying to tell me. I know, I saw.”
You placed yourself in his hold. “I tried but - but… I’m so tired I couldn’t.”
Jungkook didn’t say anything. He just held you, tightly and you were glad for the silent comfort. You didn’t really want words just a steady presence and Jungkook gave you all. You were crying - bawling - you didn’t know. All you knew was that you were finally letting go, sharing this with somebody else.
You held the burden for long enough and you knew - you just knew - that you trusted him. A deep-rooted type of fear of being left in the dust again sits dormant in the pit of your stomach. But trust, you had - so trust, you believe.
Your eyelids grew heavy as your breath evened out, you fought the urge to fall asleep again but the comforting soothes were too much for your tired body so you gave in. You swore this was the most you have slept in a really long time. With your schedules, you were grateful enough to even get past four hours of sleep.
Things will definitely take time to go back to how they were before the incident. Maybe you will never be how you used to be. Maybe this scar will never heal. But you knew that you would heal. This would will leave a scar that serves as a battle reminder - that you were strong and will always be strong. So as you let yourself lose in Jungkook’s arms, you knew that you could trust him. You didn’t know what life would throw in your path but you were certain that this man - and you, would stand for each other.
Trust.
You were certain.
Trust.

Trust.

"You know that i don't like this kind of party" face-timing with your best friend on the phone, she is convincing you to go to a stupid pool party that is held by the popular girl at college.
"YN please, we will have so much fun" Yebin, your best friend is now whining and pleading you with her puppy eyes. You cringe at this side of her, it’s not in her nature to act cute and wherever she does this, it makes you two laugh. You just reply to her with an eye roll, when there is a party or something she always informs you but she rarely tries to make you go there. So you don't know what got into her head right now.
"You rarely go to a party so this time you should go with me and beside my cousin will surely be there" mentioning her cousin you turned your head to look at her through the phone and all you could see was Yebin with a smirk decorating her lips. What the heck? Seconds ago she was acting cute and all, now she is testing me or what? “What with that expression, you know it’s the past now” “girl, you always say that” she says with a sigh. Let it be, tired to explain myself over and over again. You said to yourself.
“YN come on…” You got lost in your thoughts as she continued to talk about everything that you guys can do there as if you didn't know what a party is. You wonder how she can talk so much? Ugh you hate to be someone that is so easy to persuade. Besides, it’s been a long time since you had some fun, so going there, nothing bad could happen. You sigh "Okay fine then, when will the party start?" you say while covering your ears as you know she will scream "Great !!" She was totally yelling and dancing to celebrate your agreement. You chuckle at her reaction.
"It starts at 7pm" I watch the clock which indicates 5pm, You still have 2 hours to get ready. "Hey, what do you think about this swimsuit?" you turn your head to her from the clock, she shows you two pieces swimsuits with marble print on it, the one she brought when you two were at the mall last week.
Hours went like that with you trying some outfits. Yebin informs you she will pick you up in 30 minutes.
Hearing the doorbell, you check if you have everything as your purse, your phone and go into the hallway that takes you to the front door to open it to your bestie. “Hii girl !” letting go of the hug you check yet again your outfit for tonight with your huge mirror just beside the door. You wear a simple yet beautiful black satin draped dress with some sparks all over it and an open back that shows your curves very well. You wanted to dress prettily but also wanted to keep it simple and to not be exaggerated. This is a pool party so you know that the dress you are wearing is not the main outfit. “Okay let’s go” locking the door of your apartment, you and Yebin step into the hall to make it to the elevator.
"Somethin’ about him is made for somebody like me, baby, come over, come over" singing along with your playlist being played in Yebin's car. Whenever you are not driving you always end up singing and vibing to any songs that can be played. It's how you are, meanwhile Yebin is also vibing to this song 'the boy is mine' but is still cautious about the road as she drives to the party.
You've known your best friend since the last year of high school and now you are in the second year of college. Well, in fact you don't know her for so long but you guys got along so well since the day she went to you to work on a project together 3 years ago. It’s like a feeling to have a soulmate friend.
She is totally different from you in a lot of aspects, she is extremely extrovert, always smiling even when she has bad days or a heartbreak ah no scratch that. The day she got a heartbreak was as difficult for her as you. You didn’t recognize her at all as she wasn’t herself, the girl that always says ‘girls like me don’t cry’. Her being so sociable with people in college, she can be friends with everyone, for you, she can be that popular girl in your college. On the other hand, you are introverted, not at a level of being very shy with people around you but you are the type of person to not approach someone if you don’t have to. In short you don’t really try to make new friends you just go with the flow if we can say that. But, when someone gets to know you, you are a person that can give good company too. It's not like you are a boring person, you become pretty comfortable with people you think you can trust.
“We’re here” she parks her car in the parking lot that is beside the house where the party is held which is filled with other cars that you guess are of people in the party as well. Opening the car door you get out of the car at the same time as Yebin. She locks the car with her keys and walks towards you to lock her arms with yours. As you approach the entrance of the house, you see people that are walking to join the party as well. You of course don’t recognise everyone but you remember seeing some faces at college as you look at them. Barely entering the garden of the house, you already see people dancing beside the pool, drinking and some people going wild. Seeing that you and Yebin laugh at the same time.
“You guys are here” turning your head, you see Miyoung, the popular girl with the biggest smile like she always does, smiling back she engulfs you into a hug as she just did to Yebin. Letting go of the hug Miyoung eyes you two from head to toe “You girls are beautiful like I expected” she says as she laughs softly. “What do you mean? We are stunning everyday” Yebin teases her while you can’t help but laugh “I know I know” Miyoung laughs “but it’s just so rare to see YN in a party and we barely see each other at college that’s why whenever I have the opportunity I compliment you” she says softly but yell a little as the music is blasting a bit too loud.
“Oh so you weren’t complimenting me ouch that’s hurt” your best friend yells a little too loud that made you and Yebin laugh "I said girls with a 's'" she says still laughing. "You guys can have a drink by the bar, we will catch up later" Miyoung says with a blowing kiss which you and Yebin return too, she probably will welcome the guests that were invited tonight.
Miyoung happens to be a close friend to you and Yebin too. She is not the kind of popular girl who is full of herself and being rude to everyone with her minions. No, she is someone that is very inspiring, very cheerful and very kind to everyone. You got to know her in your first year of college during a lecture when she happened to sit beside you in the lecture hall and was very friendly to you.
"So, what should we get ?" Thinking about what drink we could get or try you suddenly realize you didn't have your purse with you "Damn my purse is in the car" you say frustrated by the fact you didn't take the purse with you. Before your best friend can say anything about your purse, a voice is calling you two.
"Yebin, YN" you turn your head in the direction of the voice.
Jimin, one of the best dancers in our college, is approaching you with a cute smile on his face. "Hiii" Yebin chimes enthusiastically while you smile at him in return. "YN, long time no see" he jokes "We just saw each other this morning" you scoff "you're referring to seeing me at a party am I right?" He winks that give you the response that you were absolutely right, you roll your eyes at him. He is sweet but can be so annoying with all his teasing but you are kind of used to it since you and Jimin know each other from high school.
"Yebin I need to get my purse" you said while she gives you her car keys "Here" before you could head to the parking lot, Jimin gripped your right arm to prevent you to walk away "You are going home already" he says with a smirk you know he was teasing you again and that he heard what you said so you replied sarcastically "Yes because I can't stand your ass" you returns with a smirk. You hear your best friend murmuring something like she is so done with the bickering of you and Jimin before she says "Meet me at the bar when you come back 'kay?" Nodding your head you quickly return to the car to get your pouch.
Exiting the house and the crowd of people, you are fighting the urge to actually facepalm yourself at this point for forgetting the cute purse you brought with you. Heading to the parking lot, you were approaching the car as you unlocked it with the keys. Opening the passenger's door of the car you quickly grab what you were here for and lock the car again to go back to the house and get something to drink because you are kind of thirsty right now.
When you turn around to head to the house again you come to a stop when you see a car that was parked not far from where you are standing. But it wasn't the car that made you stop but the owner of it that is getting out of the driver's door.
The black hair boy Jeon Jungkook, the popular boy of your college and the person you were once close with is in front of you. You wanted to avoid him like you are used to at college but it was too late, he saw you. You still maintain eye contact even when the urge to just walk past him is high. There is always something that wants you to keep your gaze on him and to not break eye contact. Like right now, this moment.
Why are there no more people at this parking lot ? And why it has to be him, you have to see now when you are not even in the party yet. Why did I forget my purse in the car ? You questioned in your head. At this point, you were screaming internally, why these things always happen to you. Seeing him at college is already awkward but less so now as there are people around you when you and him make eye contact there but now the parking lot is empty. It is really awkward, the silence is too loud for your liking. You are someone that likes when it is calm but not this kind of silence.
He is one of the main reasons why you don't go to parties often for two months.
You sigh and decide to ignore him and just walk away but before you could make a move you see him approaching you slowly as if to make sure he is doing the right thing and if not, you could possibly run right now. Which will be ridiculous. So you stay where you are, a very little far from Yebin’s car as you break eye contact and stare at the moon that was shining just above you two instead. You feel your heartbeat accelerate as you hear his big steps with him wearing his big Balenciaga shoes.
And there he is in front of you, looking at you with his beautiful brown doe eyes as you stare back at him. "Hi." He whispered so low that you almost couldn't catch it. You said hi to him back with a little smile to not make things more awkward than it already is.
And here again, silence.
He still stares at you as if he couldn't believe that you were here in front of his eyes. You think he would not say anything so you cleared your throat "We should head to the party" oh only if you knew how much he missed your voice.
You see Jungkook blinking and suddenly he gives you a small smile "Good to see you here YN" wow for how long didn't you hear him call your name. You ignore how your heart misses a beat when your name comes out of his mouth. Indeed you hummed "Me too".
Hearing you saying that, his eyes widened for a split second makes you want to chuckle but you can't seem to want to be so friendly with him because you are not friends. But you don't want to be cold to him too so your gaze softened a bit "I mean we are maybe not friends anymore but-" he cut you off "You don't have to explain I got it. It's just- it's been so long since we actually talked so I am glad you didn't punch me in the face" he teased to ease the atmosphere that was getting a little too emotional for the both of you.
Hearing his words make you chuckle "Well I can do that now if you want me to" you took a little step towards him with a teasing smile on your lips. "And I dare you to do that" Jungkook said while taking another step towards you too.
He sees how your smile dropped a little so he steps back again "Sorry I got carried away" you see how tensed he becomes that makes you shook your head with a gentle smile "Don't be sorry Jungkook, I-" you take a breath and continue "I don't mind when you tease me or when you come close to me just like you just did now." You paused again "Listen, Kook I know what we said that day and because of that we drifted apart and acted like we don't know each other but now I don't want us to be awkward with each other anymore. I want to talk to you like a friend or an acquaintance."
You confessed about what you were thinking lately about this whole thing with Jungkook. And you are glad you did or glad that he came to you first to say hi. If not, you don't know if you will ever say all the things you just said to him now.
"It's good to hear you call me by that name again" he says while flashing you his bunny smile. Wait, did you call him Kook without you noticing it? You manage to not blush because of that as he nods and says "It's not too late we can be casual and be friends". You nod at his words and hope that it's the right decision for the both of you even if you and Jungkook deep down know that both of you are lying to yourself. "Okay cool, let's go then." You smile at him as you two walk towards the house side by side.
You notice how he walks so slowly as if to talk to you more because he knows that once you two will be at the party, it will be difficult to communicate with the loud music that is playing even from where you two are walking. You still hear it here so imagine being in the house.
"Didn't expect to see you at this party though" Jungkook says to you as you turn to him just to see a teasing smile again. You groan "Why is everyone so surprised that I show up at the party ?" He doesn't have to answer because he knows that you have the answer so instead he chuckles and makes you join him too. You feel relieved that Jungkook seems to be himself again with you. Not completely for sure but seeing him laughing and teasing you, it's all that matters now.
No, you and Jungkook never were in a relationship. He is not your ex. You met him in the first year of college when you two had the same class. You guys didn't talk with each other other than for that project that you worked on with him a year ago. After that project, you two became pretty close and learned so many things about each other. All the study sessions you spent with each other were so much fun that they made you become friends. But going to a frat party together last year didn't end like you expected. That night made things complicated. However, the you and him from last year didn't know what could happen after that.
“You are stunning by the way” you hear Jungkook saying, you wanted to tease him but something is stopping you. Maybe, because of the closeness that is not present anymore. You just gave him a smile while whispering a little loud for him to hear you “Thanks”.
"Jungkook" stepping into the huge garden of the house, Miyoung is still there to welcome her guest as she calls the name of the person beside you smiling at him. “Hi” Jungkook replies to her with a sweet smile as they hug. You stand to the side awkwardly because well, you should not be here and let alone with Jeon Jungkook. After the hug, Jungkook turns to you but before he could say anything, you inform them “I am going to join Yebin”. You smile a little at them and walk towards the bar.
Him and Miyoung have been friends since middle school. You knew that when he told you last year. There are close friends and you did not mind that, because friendships between girls and boys totally exist. Maybe some people won’t agree with you about this topic but you don’t think much about it. Looking at the bar where you can see your best friend chatting with her roommate Somi. Yes, Yebin lives at the campus dorm while you wanted to have an apartment for yourself so you didn’t take the option to live in a dorm and to have to share the place with somebody else. You totally prefer to have your own place.
You often run into Somi whenever you visit Yebin at her dorm, but it’s been a while since you’ve seen her. She went back to her hometown, Daegu, to visit her parents and family. Just like your best friend, Somi is super extroverted and always in a good mood. So, seeing her at a party, especially this one, doesn’t surprise you at all. She loves having fun, both on her own and with others.
As you approach, Somi squeals your name and pulls you into a tight hug. By now, her enthusiasm doesn’t surprise you like it did the first time you met her at the dorm. She’s extremely friendly and hears a lot about you from Yebin, so greeting you with a hug was just natural for her. However, it wasn’t something you expected when Yebin mentioned you’d meet her roommate two months into your first semester. Her hug caught you off guard because you’re not usually like this when meeting someone for the first time. But you don’t have to say anything about it because it’s just a difference in personalities. You actually enjoy having friends like her—they bring a lot of joy to an otherwise boring day.
Breaking the hug, she asked you to twirl yourself so you did with furrowed eyebrows, being confused. “Wow girl, you look so hot” Somi chimes as you laugh at her “I know right” you reply with a little teasing in your voice. Even without all the compliments that you receive, you’ve always been loving yourself and your body. Tonight, you can’t deny the fact that this dress you have on really fits your body and shows your curves beautifully. “You see, it was a great idea to bring her here” you and Somi turn your head towards Yebin as you laugh at her comment and roll your eyes at her. Being here right now, you are actually having fun so you don’t regret coming here after all. Leaning on the counter of the bar in the huge garden, you say your order to the bartender “A mojito strawberry please" smiling a little. You sit on one of the stools beside Yebin while Somi is standing in front of the stools. After some minutes, the bartender gives you the cocktail, you thank him and turn towards the girls.
"I know right, but like I always don't fucking cry for any man" Somi says with a serious tone as she tells us the story of a guy she met weeks ago at some arcade when they exchanged their numbers but she discovered that he had a girlfriend or something and played with Somi (and his girlfriend too). Disgusting. "Anyways, what about you and Jimin ?" Somi asks your best friend about her current crush, since 2 months ago. "What about it ?" she shrugs "Hmm I don't think I have a chance or something so just let it be." You and Somi see Yebin was glaring at something, more like someone. You look in the direction where your best friend is looking and see Jimin laughing and talking with a girl that you don't seem to know.
You know Jimin enough to know that he can actually be flirting with this girl. During high school, when you became friends with him, you knew he was such a flirt when it came to women. But with you it is not flirting but more like teasing. And not teasing in a romantic way but more like siblings. You see Jimin as an older brother since then. Even if he is so so annoying, you are glad to have a guy friend that gives you a feeling like having a brother. You being the only child of your parents, having someone that can have the energy of a sibling makes you feel content.
To be honest, you never talk about Yebin's crush to Jimin, you don't want him to go to your best friend and to flirt with her because it can mess up her mind. You know Jimin is not a player and he is careful enough to not break any girl’s hearts. But you don't want to interfere in this affair. Yebin is always independent when it is about a crush or relationship. And if she wants your help, you are always there for that. But you think since the crush she has on him is still fresh, she doesn't want to make a move yet.
Still watching Jimin and the girl you see him looking at Yebin and looking away faster than the speed of lighting. Somi sighs "Yebin, when did you want to give up like that? This is not the Yebin I know" hearing that Yebin lowers her gaze. "Somi is right, why don't you make a move, maybe he feels the same too" you told her softly as you put your hand on her shoulder. She turns her head to you and looks at you with big eyes "You think so, how-" you cut her off and explains yourself before she thinks you know something about Jimin's feelings "I don't know if he likes you or not, I didn't talk about you having a crush on him so I really don't know but the way he looks at you sometimes can tell a lot" she nods at your words, she knows you are not someone that will butt into someone's business so she totally got you. Yebin shrugs again and states "Maybe when I am drunk enough tonight to talk to him" Somi shouts "That's our girl" with a big smile on her face that makes you excited too.
"Let's go over there," you suggest, pointing towards the couch area where a long sofa and several poufs are scattered around. The space isn’t very crowded—only three people occupy the couch—so you decide it’s a good spot to relax. You sigh contentedly as your body sinks into the beige pear-shaped pouf, while Yebin settles onto the couch and Somi claims the pouf to your left.
Just as you all start to relax, a sudden loud voice blares through a microphone, making you flinch. It’s Miyoung, standing beside the DJ. "The pool party is now starting! Everyone, jump in the pool and have fun~" she announces excitedly, doing a little dance after her declaration. You watch as nearly everyone at the party heads for the pool in front of you. Some are quickly stripping off their clothes to reveal swimsuits underneath, while others don’t even bother, diving right into the water fully dressed. After all, this is a pool party.
You are actually amazed by the size of the swimming pool, it is big enough to welcome all the people present in this party. But Miyoung didn’t really invite the entire college so it’s crowded but not really, which is great because you don’t want to be glued with people in the pool later.
"Girls let's go~~" Somi begins to take off her mini dress to show her swimsuit and quickly go into the pool. Your best friend does the same but you didn't budge "Don't you want to join everyone?" You turn your head to look at her again before answering "No. At least not now. You can go I’ll join later" You give her a smile but soon become confused as to why she isn’t in the pool already and instead looks at you "What ?" You giggled "being here all by myself with a cocktail is totally fine, now go" Yebin still looked at you with unsure eyes. "Really" you reassured her that you are going to be fine sitting here alone "Sure?" She insists and when you didn't say otherwise she gets to the pool and joins everyone.
You know she wanted to stay here with you as she was the one that asked you to come here in the first place and she didn't want you to spend the time here alone, it would be selfish of her. And selfish of you if you asked her to stay here. She also knows that you hate it when a stranger tries to hit on you at a party and flirts with you or something. You know this kind of thing always happens in a party so you are not surprised if it happens. But now, as almost everyone is in the water, you aren’t worrying about it.
Grabbing your cocktail, you stand up from the pouf and go to sit at the couch to have a better view of the pool where everybody seems to have a lot of fun making you want to join them but you want to finish your cocktail first and then you’ll see.
You take a sip of your cocktail before your eyes switch to the person that is approaching you. Jungkook. He is walking towards you making a little gap between you two as he takes a seat beside you. "Why aren't you joining everyone in the pool?" You ask him gently as you look at him.
With the moon that is shining towards you and him, you can see his pretty doe eyes looking at you making you lost in them. They are beautiful. "I return the question back to you" you giggle at his words and shrug "Not really in the mood right now and I wanna finish my cocktail first" he hums at your words making you look at the pool again.
He wants to say something.
Whenever he touches his hair while looking down, he is contemplating saying something. You don't want to push him to talk so you let the silence engulf you two as a warm breeze passes making your hair move in a delicate way. You thank your hair for not being messed up after you try to wave them. Now thinking about it, you don’t know why you curled your hair for a pool party, you will end up in the water anyways.
Sipping your glass of cocktail, you see Hyejin approaching you two. You’ve met her in one of your classes but never really talk to her. You guess the person sitting beside you on your left side is the main reason why she is coming in your way. “Hi you two” She barely waves at you as she settles on the armrest of the couch on Jungkook’s side. You internally roll your eyes, he is known for being the popular boy at college so this situation doesn’t surprise you a bit but you are not used to this. Nonetheless you wave at her back but try not to be pissed off.
“Why don’t you go with me to the pool JK ?” You scoff at her, sipping your remaining cocktail. Before answering, Jungkook turns to look at you and then settles back his gaze to Hyejin “Uh actually, I am keeping YN company, so maybe later we’ll join” he rejects. Hearing this you smile behind your glass as you finish your drink and put it on the coffee table just in front of the couch.
You turn to Jungkook and beam at him but you can see that Hyujin is glaring at you “Should we go ?” you ask him totally ignoring the girl beside him as you stand up to pull your dress off in front of them to reveal your one piece swimsuit, a spiraling twist-front Monokini one shoulder swimsuit in a beautiful shade of dark gray. You opted for a simple swimsuit but also for a cool one. Putting your dress on the couch, you offer your hand to Jungkook.
You see Jungkook swallowing at the sight of you, not really expecting you to undress in front of him like that. His gaze then lands on your offering hand, he doesn’t want to cross the limits but if you don’t mind then he doesn’t either. Standing up while grabbing your hand, you walk together to the edge of the pool. Not noticing the way Hyujin was fuming and quickly passes you two and jumps joining the people in the water.
You are about to jump in the clear water that is reflecting the lights decorated just above but Jungkook gently pulls you towards him using your joined hands. Once facing him you look at him confused “What ? Don’t you wa-” cutting you off he mentions with his other hand his body and your gaze lowers to his clearly toned body behind all the clothing. You chuckle “Sorry, I was maybe a little excited” Lie. You were in a hurry to go away from the girl that was clearly flirting with your now friend Jungkook.
You let his hand go so that he can take off his shirt and keep his black swim shorts. You try not to watch his beautiful body glistening under the light of the moon, afraid to drool in front of his face so you face the pool instead and wait for him before you two jump into the water.
After swimming for a while, you get out of the pool and see Jimin and Yebin at the snack table as they wave at you, asking for you to join them.
The night is alive with the vibrant energy of the pool party. Twinkling fairy lights adorned the trees, casting a warm glow over the scene, while lanterns floated on the surface of the pool, creating a magical atmosphere. Laughter and music fill the air as friends gather under the starry sky. A makeshift stage had been set up on the grass, surrounded by colorful balloons and streamers, illuminated by the soft light. It was time for the highlight of the evening – the Water Balloon Toss.
A crowd begins to form around the stage as Miyoung calls out, "Alright, everyone! Gather 'round for the Water Balloon Toss! Find a partner and get ready for some fun!" The buzz of excitement grew louder as pairs formed, each grabbing a water balloon from the large tub set up by the stage.
Jungkook, with his usual easygoing charm, looks around for a partner. His eyes land on you, who is chatting with some friends near the snack table, your face lit up by the soft glow of the lights. With a confident smile, he makes his way over.
"Hey, YN," Jungkook calls out, "wanna be my partner for the Water Balloon Toss?"
You turn, your eyes lighting up at the sight of him. "Sure, Jungkook! Let's do it!" You ignore the teasing looks your friends have and quickly go with Jungkook.
You two joined the other pairs on the lawn, standing about five feet apart to start. The host explained the rules "The goal is simple. Toss the water balloon back and forth without dropping it. After each successful toss, take a step back. The last pair standing with an unbroken balloon wins!"
The game began, and the first few tosses were easy. You catch the balloon with a grin and toss it back to Jungkook with a gentle arc. The crowd cheers as each pair successfully catches their balloons.
"Alright, everyone, take a step back!" Miyoung announced.
The distance increased, and the tosses became more challenging. Jungkook's eyes were focused, his athletic skills coming into play. He catches the balloon effortlessly and throws it back to you, who catches it with a laugh, your fingers brushing against the cool, slippery surface.
Another step back. The tension rose as the balloons flew through the air. A few pairs had already been eliminated, their balloons bursting in mid-air or slipping from their grasp. Jungkook and you, however, are still in the game, your teamwork evident in each successful catch.
"You're really good at this," You remark as you catch another toss.
"So are you," Jungkook replies, his eyes twinkling under the fairy lights. "Let's keep it up!"
Miyoung calls for another step back. Now the distance is significant, and the crowd's cheers grow louder, adding to the excitement. Jungkook carefully aims his throw, the balloon soaring through the air in a perfect arc. You position yourself, arms outstretched, and catch it with a triumphant laugh.
"Nice catch!" Jungkook shouts, giving you a thumbs-up.
"Thanks!" you beams, preparing for your next toss.
With each step back, your connection seems to grow stronger, your movements synchronize. The other pairs dwindle until only a few are left. The crowd is on edge, watching intently.
"Final step back!" the host declares. "This will decide the winner!"
The distance is now at its maximum. Jungkook took a deep breath, focusing on you. He tosses the balloon with a gentle yet precise throw. The balloon sails through the air, shimmering in the moonlight. You track its flight, your hands steady. You catch it, the crowd erupting in cheers.
They had done it. Jungkook and you are the last pair standing.
"We have our winners!" Miyoung announces, pulling you both to the front. "Give it up for Jungkook and YN!"
The crowd cheers and claps as Jungkook and you stand side by side, victorious smiles on your faces. Jungkook holds up your intact water balloon like a trophy.
"Great job, partner," he says, giving you a playful high-five.
"You too, Jungkook," you reply, your smile radiant. "That was so much fun!"
As the celebration continues, Jungkook and you share a moment of triumph and camaraderie, your bond strengthened by the simple yet exhilarating game of Water Balloon Toss.
It had been late, the party winding down as the music softened. You and Jungkook had found yourselves alone on the balcony, the city lights twinkling below. You were both a little tipsy, the alcohol giving you courage and blurring the lines of your friendship. You'd been laughing about something silly, when suddenly, the laughter faded, and there was a moment of silence.
Without thinking, you leaned in, and Jungkook met you halfway. The kiss was soft and hesitant at first, but it quickly deepened, fueled by months of unspoken feelings. The world around you disappeared, leaving only the warmth of his lips and the pounding of your heart. One thing led to another, and before you knew it, you were in a hotel room nearby, caught up in a whirlwind of passion and confusion.
The next morning, reality hit like a cold shower. The morning light filtered through the curtains, casting a soft glow across the room. You slowly opened your eyes, the events of the previous night rushing back to you. The party, the laughter, the kiss – everything had led to this moment. You turned to see Jungkook sitting on the edge of the bed, his back to you, head hung low. The sheets rustled as you sat up, pulling them around you for comfort.
“Jungkook,” you began, your voice barely above a whisper. He turned slightly, his eyes meeting yours with a mixture of regret and sadness.
“YN, we need to talk about what happened,” he said, his voice strained. He looked exhausted, as if he hadn’t slept at all.
You nodded, swallowing hard. “I know. Last night... it was a mistake, wasn’t it?”
He sighed, running a hand through his hair. “I don’t know if it was a mistake, but it definitely changed things between us. We can’t just pretend it didn’t happen.”
You felt a lump form in your throat, the weight of his words sinking in. “So, what do we do now? I don’t want to lose you, but I don’t know how to go back to being just friends after this.”
Jungkook moved closer, his eyes filled with a sadness that mirrored your own. “I don’t want to lose you either, YN. But I think we have to be honest with ourselves. That night happened because there were feelings there, but acting on them has made everything complicated.”
Tears welled up in your eyes as you looked down at your hands, the reality of the situation hitting you. “So, what are you saying? Are we ending our friendship?”
He reached out, gently lifting your chin so you could meet his gaze. “I think we need some time apart to figure things out. We can’t keep pretending like everything is fine. It’s not fair to either of us.”
You felt a tear slip down your cheek, and Jungkook wiped it away with his thumb. “But what if we don’t find our way back to each other?” you asked, your voice trembling.
He gave you a sad smile. “If we’re meant to be in each other’s lives, we’ll find a way back. But right now, we need to give ourselves the space to heal and understand what we really want.”
You nodded, knowing deep down that he was right. “Okay, Jungkook. We’ll take a break. But I want you to know that you’ll always be important to me.”
“And you to me, YN,” he replied, his voice breaking slightly. He pulled you into a tight embrace, holding you close for what felt like both an eternity and a fleeting moment.
As you pulled away, you both knew that this was the end of an era. The friendship you had cherished was changing, and there was no going back. You got dressed in silence, the weight of the decision heavy in the air.
Before leaving, Jungkook turned to you one last time. “Take care of yourself, YN. I hope we find our way back to each other someday.”
“You too, Jungkook,” you replied, giving him a small, sad smile. With that, you walked out the door, the morning light greeting you as you stepped into a new, uncertain chapter of your life. You and Jungkook had shared something special, but it was time to move on, each of you taking a separate path towards healing and growth.
The one-night stand had exposed the fragility of your friendship, turning what was once a comfortable and uncomplicated bond into something fraught with emotional complexity. It highlighted the challenges of navigating intimate relationships with close friends, where expectations and emotions can become tangled. Both of you needed time to process and understand the new dynamic, to reflect on what had been lost and what could still be salvaged. The break was necessary for personal growth and healing, allowing each of you to rediscover yourselves and, perhaps in the future, find a way back to the friendship that had once meant so much.
Even when It means that you will be strangers again.
You groan as you help Yebin to walk to her car. “Why did you drink so much?” It’s more of a complaint than a question. She tries to respond but only manages to mumble something incoherent. This situation is rare—normally, it doesn’t happen often because you don’t always go with her to parties, and she usually doesn’t drink this much.
Yebin isn’t heavy but you just don’t have energy at literally 1 a.m in the morning to carry her. And well, she just doesn’t help at all when she puts all of her weight on you and when she can’t even walk properly. You can’t blame her, you are like this too when drunk.
“Need some help?” a familiar teasing voice calls out behind you. You try to turn around while keeping Yebin steady in your arms so she doesn’t fall. But before you can react, the man in question hurries over and scoops your best friend into his arms just as she’s about to collapse onto the now-empty parking lot. By this time, most of the guests have either gone home, grabbed another drink, or found someone to hook up with.
“Thanks Jimin” You say ignoring the fact he was teasing you again just minutes ago.
You then notice the person who was with him now standing next to you—Jungkook. “Let Jimin and me drive you home,” he suggests, glancing in your direction. Before you can respond, he adds, “You look tired.” You smile at the kind offer but decline. “It’s okay, I only had some non-alcoholic cocktails. You don’t have to worry.” You look at him softly, even though a part of you wants to accept.
“I really don’t mind. I didn’t drink. I was thinking of having a drink at Jimin’s place after the party,” he explains, his big, beautiful doe eyes locked on yours. “YN, he’s right. Let us take you guys home; it’s pretty late anyway,” Jimin interrupts your thoughts.
“Alright, let’s go,” you finally agreed. Jungkook smiles at your response, while Jimin shouts, “Finally! Took you long enough to decide!” You playfully hit Jimin’s arm as you follow Jungkook to his car with Yebin in Jimin’s arms trailing behind you.
As Jungkook pulls out of the parking lot, the car settles into a comfortable silence. The only sound is the hum of the engine and Yebin’s soft breathing from the back seat. Jimin, ever the energetic one, breaks the silence.
"Alright, who’s in charge of the music?" he asks, leaning forward from his seat next to Yebin. You are sitting in the front passenger seat, smiling. "I think it should be Jungkook’s choice since he’s driving."
"Nah, YN, if I pick, it’s just gonna be the same playlist we always listen to," Jungkook replies with a chuckle. "Why don’t you choose?"
Jimin, sensing an opportunity for mischief, grabs his phone. "I say we go with something upbeat—maybe some retro pop? You know, keep the energy up!"
You laugh, shaking her head. "I was thinking of something more relaxed, like some chill lo-fi or acoustic."
Jungkook nods in agreement. "Yeah, something mellow sounds good."
Jimin huffs in mock annoyance. "You guys are so boring! But fine, let’s compromise." He scrolls through his playlist and settles on a soft indie track that has a good rhythm but isn’t too intense.
Just as the music begins to play, your stomach growls loudly, cutting through the quiet tune. Jimin bursts into laughter. "Sounds like someone’s hungry! Should’ve gone with my upbeat playlist—it even makes your stomach dance."
You blush and laugh along. "Maybe a little…"
Jungkook glances at you with a smile. "Want to grab something to eat? I know a place that’s still open, just a little detour." You brighten at the idea. "Really? I could go for some late-night snacks."
Jimin claps his hands. "Now we’re talking! What are we getting? Burgers? Or are we going full-on convenience store raids?"
Yebin, half-awake in the back seat, mumbles something about ice cream, making everyone laugh.
Jungkook nods. "Sounds like a plan. There’s a place I know that has everything we could want at this hour."
As he turns the car down a different street, Jimin starts scrolling through his phone again. "Okay, but I’m taking over the music for the drive to the food spot. We need something more fitting for a snack run."
You roll her eyes playfully. "As long as it doesn’t make my stomach growl even more, I’m fine with it."
The car fills with lively tunes as they head toward their late-night snack destination, the earlier fatigue replaced by excitement and the warmth of good company.
Finishing your bowl of ramen, you put your head on Jimin’s couch. “Woah, that was so delicious”. The clock reads 2:45 AM, and the soft glow of the living room lights creates a cozy atmosphere.
You guys decided to buy some snacks at GS25 and go strength to Jimin’s home as it was the closest and you remember Jungkook wanted to have a drink here so you suggested that it was the best option.
Yebin slept on the ride here but woke up ten minutes after we put her on the couch when she munched some Shrimp chips and Pepero. But she is fast asleep after eating.
Jimin’s spacious living room is scattered with snacks and empty drink cups from their late-night munching. The group has gathered around the coffee table, which now serves as a makeshift karaoke stage with a portable karaoke machine set up and a couple of microphones.
Jimin, sprawls comfortably on the couch, grabs the remote control with a grin. “Alright, everyone, time for a karaoke session! Who’s ready to be the next big star?”
Yebin, curls up with a blanket on the sofa, perks up. “I’m in, but only if you promise not to make fun of me.”
Jungkook, seated next to you on the floor, nudges you. “Let’s start with a duet. I know you’ve got a killer voice.”
You laugh, rolling her eyes playfully. “Alright, but you better not steal the show.”
Jimin queues up a popular song on the karaoke machine. “Okay, let’s start with something fun—‘Uptown Funk.’” He hands one of the microphones to Jungkook and the other to you.
The music starts, and Jungkook and you jump into their performance, your voices blending harmoniously. The living room fills with the upbeat energy of the song, and the rest of the group claps along. Yebin, even though she’s half-drowsy, manages to cheer them on with enthusiastic applause.
When the song ends, you playfully nudge Jungkook. “Not bad, but let’s see how Jimin handles this.”
Jimin grabs the mic with exaggerated confidence. “Alright, watch and learn!” He selects a high-energy K-pop track and performs with over-the-top dance moves, turning the living room into a mini dance floor. His performance is a mix of impressive moves and hilarious antics, making everyone laugh.
Jungkook, not wanting to be outdone, takes his turn next. He chooses a classic rock song and gets into character, making dramatic facial expressions and rocking out with all his might. Yebin, now fully engaged, joins in by cheering and laughing at Jungkook’s enthusiastic performance.
As the night progresses, Yebin, feeling braver and more awake, decides to take the mic. She picks a sweet ballad and sings softly, her voice surprisingly soothing. Her friends listen quietly, touched by the unexpected beauty of her performance.
Jimin, who has been making funny comments throughout, can’t resist adding, “Yebin, where have you been hiding this talent? You’re amazing!”
In between songs, you guys lounge on the floor or the couch, chatting and snacking. The living room becomes a haven of warmth and camaraderie, with the late hour adding a touch of magic to their spontaneous karaoke party.
As the night winds down, you are all a bit hoarse from singing but are in high spirits. You lean back with a satisfied smile, saying, “This was exactly what we needed. Thanks for the impromptu karaoke session.”
Jimin, still holding the mic like a trophy, grins. “Anytime! Who knows? Maybe we’ll turn this into a regular thing.”
Jungkook and Yebin nod in agreement, and you all share a moment of laughter and relaxation, knowing that this late-night karaoke session will be a cherished memory for years to come.
The next morning, you wake up lying on the couch with a slight headache because of some drinks after the karaoke.
As you start to stir, you become aware of a weight resting on your waist. Glancing down, you see a tattooed arm draped across you. Not wanting to disturb Jungkook, you gently try to lift his arm but fail when he pulls you closer to his chest. Your back presses against his muscled torso and you feel his body shift as he adjusts.
You gasp quietly, surprised by the close contact, and the warmth of his body against yours. With your eyes closed, you weigh your options for slipping out of his embrace without waking him. You realize that even a slight shift of your hips could alert him, potentially revealing his morning erection and leading to an awkward situation for both of you.
But that’s what happens.
Despite your careful efforts, you end up unintentionally moving, and Jungkook stirs, his hold tightening around you as he groans softly.
You suppress a moan escaping your lips as you call his name. Your voice comes out breathless. He responds with a sleepy hum but doesn't release you, you sigh. He isn’t aware of your position, you think.
Fuck it. You turn around in his embrace to face him and gently pat his arm to wake him up. Not a very good idea as now you feel his morning wood pressing on the lower belly. You try to put a distance but with his hold you can’t barely move.
As you contemplate, you suddenly hear some laughs in a distant area. You then remember that there is also Yebin and Jimin at the moment.
You curse in your head and quickly wake Jungkook up before any of them see you two in this intimate position. It’s clearly past noon, you need to eat but don’t want to receive any teasing right now.
Jungkook slowly opens his eyes while rubbing away the sleep before he is looking at you with wide eyes in shock, and he immediately jumps up from the couch. You are still laying on the couch now missing his warm “I am sorry I-” he begins, panic evident in his voice. You quickly reach out to calm him, a soft smile on your lips. “Hey don’t, it’s okay. I mean I didn't mind. You were just asleep; it’s no big deal." You don’t even understand yourself because the last time you two were in bed together you clearly mind.
But now, it's been a long time since you and Jungkook have been this close, or even really talked, and you realize that you do want to be close to him again.
Before Jungkook can utter something, Yebin enters the living room “you lovebirds are finally awake. Me and Jimin didn’t want to wake you up, you two seem to sleep so peacefully in each other’s arms.”
You notice the little smirk on her glossy lips and feel your cheeks burn as a rosy hue blooms across your face. Glancing at Jungkook, you see that he's in the same state, his face betraying him with a soft blush as embarrassment washes over him.
"Thanks for the ride," you say, unbuckling your seatbelt as Jungkook pulls up in front of your house. You had breakfast at Jimin’s place before Jungkook offered to give you a lift home. You two haven’t discussed what happened when you woke up earlier. You’re relieved about that, still feeling unprepared to delve into that conversation.
Meanwhile, your best friend decided to stay with Jimin. You’re not sure what happened between them last night, but they seem closer than ever, and you’re genuinely happy for her.
Jungkook smiles warmly before saying, "No problem at all. It was nice to catch up and make sure you got home safely. Have a great rest of your day."
You return his smile, feeling a bit of warmth at his thoughtful gesture. "Thanks, Jungkook. I really appreciate it. See you around!"
As you reach for the car door handle, his voice stops you. "Speaking of which," he says, and you turn to look at him, curious about what he might say next. You notice him absently licking his lip piercing, which adds to the anticipation.
"I’m hosting a party at my place this Sunday," he continues, his tone casual yet inviting. "I’d really like to see you there."
"Sounds good! What kind of party are you planning? Just so I know what to expect."
"Just a small gathering with some of my closest friends—and you, if you decide to come," he says with a wink, making you laugh at his playful attempt. He leans back in the driver’s seat and adds, "It'll be a chill one."
"Are you sure it’s going to be chill? You seem pretty excited about it." You tease, raising an eyebrow with a playful smile.
"I promise, it’s going to be low-key. But if you think I’m excited, maybe I’m just looking forward to hanging out with you." He chuckles, his eyes twinkling with sincerity.
You nod, feeling a spark of excitement. "I guess I’ll find out soon enough. Thanks again for the invite. It sounds like it’ll be fun." You take your purse, preparing to step out of the car.
Jungkook’s expression softens as he watches you, a genuine warmth in his eyes. "I’m glad you think so. I’ll see you there, then. And just so you know, I’m really looking forward to it."
You give him a final smile, feeling a sense of anticipation. "Me too. See you on Sunday!" you say as you open the car door and step out.
Parking your car in the garage of Jungkook’s house next to five cars. Taking your belongings, you exit your car as you approach his house.
This is your first time seeing his place, and you can’t help but be mesmerized by its beauty. The house is impressive, with two floors that exude elegance and warmth. The exterior is a blend of modern design with large windows that allow natural light to flood in, and soft, inviting tones that make the house feel welcoming. The architecture is sleek, the facade is clad in sleek, dark materials, with large, geometric windows that add to its bold, angular look. The architecture is crisp and precise, exuding a sense of sophistication and strength.
Yet there's a touch of charm that makes it feel like a home rather than just a house.
The front yard is well-maintained, with a pathway that leads to the grand entrance, where you can already sense the comfort and style waiting inside.
You think that the house totally corresponds to Jungkook.
And you were right. Entering the house, you can’t help but feel the warmth and the softness of the place which is actually opposite to the visual exterior of his house.
But as you step inside, the contrast is immediate and surprising. The interior is a complete departure from the exterior’s sharpness—it's warm and inviting, filled with soft textures and cozy furnishings. The living spaces are bathed in natural light, with plush furniture and earthy tones that make you feel instantly at ease. It is all about comfort and relaxation, creating a perfect balance between striking design and homely warmth.
Gasping when you feel someone’s arms giving you a breathless hug, spooning you into their arms, “Bitch, we all thought you wouldn’t come.” Turning around, you are met with Yebin, her flushed face and slightly swaying stance suggesting she’s already had a few drinks. She gives you a sly smile when she sees your confused expression.
You didn’t expect her to be here, especially after she flatly refused your invitation yesterday when you asked if she’d like to accompany you to the party. “Sorry for lying to you, girl,” she begins, her tone light but with a hint of mischief. “I didn’t tell you I was coming because I wanted to make sure you’d actually show up. I know how you get about these things, always finding an excuse at the last minute.”
You narrow your eyes at her, realizing she knows you better than you sometimes know yourself. “So, you tricked me?” you ask, half-amused, half-annoyed.
“Not tricked, exactly,” Yebin replies with a shrug, still grinning. “Just gave you a little push. If I’d said I was coming, you’d have found a way to back out, thinking you didn’t have to be there to keep me company. This way, you made the decision for yourself.”
“Mean” you mutter, shaking your head with a half-smile, unable to stay mad at her.
The truth is, it makes you realize that despite your nervousness, you wanted to come right after Jungkook invited you. Even if you are not sure whether coming here is a step forward or a step backward for your relationship with him, you guess the only way to find out is to dive in.
“Let’s go swim guys !” sitting on the couch with Jungkook on your left after he greeted you with his cute smile telling you, he was glad you could make it and gave you a quick tight hug, enough to feel his warmth. You turn your head to the voice of one of Jungkook’s friends Joon-woo screaming and standing up from the couch.
It’s your first time seeing him, and you can't help but think that the name Joon-woo suits him perfectly. Standing tall and confident, his handsome features seem to embody the meaning of his name—a blend of elegance and strength. But what stands out even more is that, unlike many who are aware of their own attractiveness, Joon-woo carries himself with a quiet confidence. He's not full of himself or arrogant; instead, there's an air of humility about him, making his charm all the more genuine.
You look around, bewildered, glancing at the people in the living room heading towards the staircase in the corner leading down to an unknown area. Perhaps it’s the way to the garage and head to a nearby swimming pool still open at this hour? Or—
“Ah, I’m excited to try Jeon’s swimming pool,” Jimin says, interrupting your thoughts. You snap your head towards Jungkook in shock. You thought his house only had two floors above ground, but it seems there’s an additional floor below—or maybe even more. You’re not quite sure.
“Jungkook what the-” you say, still shocked at the fact. “You have a fucking pool in the basement ?”
Jungkook chuckles “Yeah, I do” touching one of his ears, you see how he is shy to admit that he has an expensive house.
“Jungkook, what the—” you say, still stunned by the revelation. “You have a freaking pool in the basement?”
Jungkook chuckles, a hint of shyness in his expression as he touches one of his ears. “Yeah, I do,” he admits, looking a bit bashful about his luxurious house.
A stunned ‘oh’ escapes your lips as you process the revelation.
Yebin approaches you, urging you to join the others downstairs for a swim. It suddenly hits you that it’s only you and Jungkook left in the spacious living room.
“Wait, I can’t,” you say, realizing the situation. “I didn’t know Jungkook had a pool, so I didn’t bring a swimsuit.”
Yebin grins at you “That’s why, I am here too” she winks. Before you can ask what she means, she continues as she feels that you were about to speak up. “When Jimin picked me up earlier, he asked me to bring two swimsuits in case we were going to use Jungkook’s pool.” she says.
“By the way, I was shocked too knowing you have a pool here, it’s insane. You never told me.” she says to Jungkook. Confirming that you are not the only one being surprised by this news.
Jungkook smirks. “Why would I? If I told you, you'd just come over to use my pool all the time.”
The playful banter between them clearly shows their brother-sister dynamic, especially given that she’s Jungkook’s younger cousin.
Turning to you, your best friend takes her bag she came with before showing you one of your two piece swimsuits “Remember this one when it happened to be in my luggage when we went to Haeundae beach in Busan ?”
“Oh right, you didn’t give it to me since that was one of my favorite two pieces, you bitch.” You stand up from the couch before grabbing the swimsuit in Yebin’s hands.
On the other side, Jungkook is still sitting on the couch, looking at the swimsuit now in your hands, can’t help but already imagine you wearing it. Slapping his head mentally, he stands up before leading you to the bathroom so you and Yebin can change.
The top of the swimsuit features a sweetheart neckline that gently accentuates your bust, with thin, adjustable straps that tie behind your neck, offering both comfort and a customizable fit. The silk drapes beautifully, creating a subtle, elegant V-shape that highlights your collarbones and shoulders.
A playful ruffle or a delicate bow detail at the bust adds a hint of whimsy and femininity, while the silk’s natural sheen enhances the overall sophistication of the look.
The bottoms are high-waisted with a sleek, minimalistic cut that elongates your legs and cinches your waist. The smooth silk fabric ensures a comfortable fit, and the high cut on the legs adds a touch of allure.
Gold or silver accents, such as tiny clasps or decorative elements at the sides, give a touch of sparkle without overwhelming the delicate silk. Overall, your silk swimsuit makes you look both irresistibly cute and effortlessly sexy.
”Wow” Jungkook says under his breath upon seeing you approaching him on the couch. Jungkook’s eyes lingered a moment too long on your form, his usual cool demeanor faltering as he took in the sight of you. He quickly clears his throat, trying to mask his obvious admiration but still looks at you ”You look beautiful”. You mutter a thanks.
’’I would have let you guys be alone’’ you hit her arm which caused her to hiss before continuing ’’but I don’t know the way to your pool, don’t want to be lost in this huge house you know’’ she laughs softly.
Scratching his head Jungkook makes his way to the stairs in front of you "Let’s not keep everyone waiting too long," Jungkook says with a grin, gesturing for you and Yebin to follow him downstairs. "The pool’s this way.”
Arriving at the end of the stairs, he lets you go in front while he stalls behind. Facing the pool you're greeted by a stunning, unexpected sight—a luxurious pool that transforms the space into an elegant oasis. The water is a serene, crystalline blue, rippling softly under the glow of ambient lighting embedded in the pool's edges. The walls of the basement pool are clad in smooth, polished stone that gives off a gentle, earthy warmth, creating a sense of being enveloped in a sophisticated, natural cave. Subtle veins of marble run through the stone, adding texture and depth, while strategically placed recessed lights cast a soft, diffused glow that accentuates the walls' rich, organic patterns.
Soft, warm light fixtures cast a golden hue across the room, highlighting the sleek, polished stone floors that surround the pool. The air is cool and carries a faint scent of fresh water, while the gentle sound of water lapping against the pool's edge creates a tranquil, almost meditative atmosphere.
It's a private paradise, hidden away from the world above, offering a perfect blend of serenity and luxury.
The splashing of the water makes you come out of your frozen state, admiring the dreaming waters. ’’Your pool is amazing Jungkook’’ Jimin says, swimming to the edge to come closer to where you were standing. You notice him taking a double check when his gaze lands on Yebin.
You try to hide your smirk while looking at their interaction. Stepping aside your back bumps into someone's chest, you look behind meeting Jungkook’s eyes looking at you.
Was he this close ? Trying not to react from this, you make a little distance before beaming “It’s so cool to have the pool”. He nods “You should go in the water before I take you in my arms and jump with you” he winks.
You smack his chest ‘oh firm as heck.’ “You dare” you challenge him for fun because you know if he wants to then he would actually do it.
Seeing him approaching you, you shout “No, I was kidding, don’t you dare Kook.” Squinting your eyes, you crouch down to slip into the water “See, I can do it by myself”.
The cool embrace instantly washing over you. The sensation is both refreshing and soothing. The pool is perfectly temperate, not too cold, yet just cool enough to make your skin tingle with delight.
As you glide through the water, it feels silky against your skin, like liquid satin wrapping around you in the most comforting way. Every movement sends soft ripples across the surface, shimmering under the ambient glow of the pool lights. The gentle current created by your motions feels like a gentle massage, caressing every part of your body as you swim.
You take a deep breath, letting yourself float on your back, staring up at the soft, golden light fixtures that cast a warm, inviting hue over the room. The water carries you effortlessly, buoyant and light, almost as if you’re floating in a dream. The faint scent of fresh water fills your senses, adding to the tranquil ambiance, while the soft, rhythmic lapping of water against the pool’s edge lulls you into a state of peaceful relaxation.
You close your eyes, savoring the sensation, every inch of you feeling revitalized and alive in this luxurious oasis.
"Wow," you whisper to yourself, utterly entranced by the water’s magic, "this feels incredible."
Jungkook giggles before looking at him, and you are welcome at the scene where he is holding the hem of his t-shirt to pull it off with a swift motion. His toned muscles flex subtly with the movement, and for a brief moment, his shirt gets caught on his head, causing him to let out a playful laugh as he wrestles with the fabric. When he finally frees himself, his hair is tousled, falling messily over his eyes, making him look effortlessly handsome.
The soft lighting of the pool area accentuates his features, highlighting the defined lines of his chest and abs. You can't help but notice how the cool air of the room contrasts with the warmth of his skin, a light sheen of water catching the light from when he was playing near the edge earlier. He tosses his shirt to the side casually and catches your gaze, a mischievous glint in his eyes.
"Like what you see?" he teases, stepping closer to the pool’s edge. His voice is playful, but there’s a hint of challenge in his tone, almost daring you to respond.
You roll your eyes with a smile, trying to play it cool despite the sudden flutter in your chest. "Maybe," you reply with a smirk, "but I'm more impressed with the view down here." Your gaze shifts, catching the sight of him standing tall above you at the pool's edge. Seeing this view from below, with the water gently lapping around you, is something else entirely.
He chuckles, clearly amused by your response. "Well then," he says, stretching his arms over his head, "I guess it's my turn to join you in the water."
With that, Jungkook steps up to the pool’s edge, and without any further warning, he jumps in, creating a big splash. The cool water rushes over you, and you laugh, shaking your head as he surfaces nearby, water droplets cascading down his face.
"You're impossible," you say, still smiling, as he swims closer to you, his grin widening.
"Maybe," he admits, "but I make things more interesting, don’t I?"
You hum at him, trying not to smile so hard before Jimin joins you “Wanna do a swim race guys ?”
You quickly decline, knowing you can’t compete with them—especially not Jungkook. Besides, swimming isn’t exactly your strong suit, and the last thing you want is to embarrass yourself by nearly drowning in Jungkook’s pool. “Nah I am good, I would rather be a spectator than racing with you guys.”
It's not that you think being a woman means you can't compete with men—that's not it at all. You can totally do the race, you just know your own limits when it comes to swimming, and let's face it, you're barely more than a doggy-paddler.
“Same for me, we’ll see who is the hottest one in the pool” Yebin comes to you while hugging you by the side. You laugh at what she just said “This is nonsense Yebin, you know i am the hottest already.” Jimin leans back slightly, pushing his chest forward, as if daring everyone to admire the muscular lines of his torso.
“Actually I understand what she means, a man who knows his way to swim is kinda sexy.” You give a playful smile as you hear your best friend saying that’s why we are meant to be best friends.
With that Jungkook decides to do his best in the race, maybe winning because he is the type to be really competitive but also will try to show his skills in swimming so that your eyes will only be on his body and not on his friends. He will give you a show.
As everyone gathers around the pool, you and Yebin find a comfortable spot near the edge to watch. You lean back on your hands, legs dangling in the water, while Yebin sits cross-legged beside you, sipping on her drink.
“Are they really going to race?” you ask, raising an eyebrow as you watch the guys line up at the pool’s edge, their expressions playful but determined.
Yebin nods, a grin spreading across her face. “Oh, definitely. They’ve been talking about who’s the fastest swimmer for hours now.”
You chuckle, shaking your head. “Boys and their competitions,” you say, glancing over at Jungkook, who’s adjusting his goggles and flashing a confident smile. You can’t help but notice how his muscles tense slightly, showing off his athletic build. You feel a flutter in your chest but quickly brush it off, focusing on the race.
“Hey, don’t pretend you’re not interested,” Yebin teases, nudging your shoulder with hers. “I saw you checking Jungkook out. Not that I blame you—he looks good.”
You roll your eyes with a smile, trying to play it cool despite the teasing. “Yeah, yeah, whatever,” you mutter, but you know there’s no hiding the blush creeping up your cheeks.
Deciding to turn the tables, you grin mischievously at Yebin. “What about Jimin, huh?” you say, leaning closer to her and lowering your voice conspiratorially. “What’s happening between you two?” You nudge her waist with your elbow, a playful glint in your eye.
Yebin’s eyes widen slightly, and she lets out a surprised laugh. “Nothing’s happening!” she insists, though her cheeks flush a little. “We’re just friends, that’s all.”
You raise an eyebrow, clearly unconvinced. “Just friends, huh? The way you two were looking at each other earlier didn’t seem very platonic to me.”
Yebin playfully smacks your arm. “Stop it!” she giggles, glancing over at Jimin, who’s stretching and preparing for the race. “Okay, maybe we are closer. But that’s it! Don’t make a big deal out of it.”
You laugh, satisfied with your teasing. “Alright, alright. I won’t say anything… for now.” You wink, and Yebin shakes her head, smiling.
Jimin, Joon-woo, Taehyung, Jungkook, and Mingyu all position themselves at the edge of the pool, preparing to dive in. Taehyung shouts, “Ready, set, go!” and they all launch themselves into the water in perfect synchronization.
You and Yebin cheer loudly, laughing as the guys swim furiously, their arms cutting through the water with powerful strokes. Jungkook and Jimin quickly take the lead, their competitive spirits driving them forward.
Yebin leans over to whisper in your ear, “Who do you think will win?”
You shrug, eyes glued to the race. “I’m not sure, but Jungkook looks pretty determined.”
As the guys reach the halfway mark, it’s clear that it’s a close race between Jungkook and Jimin, with the others not far behind. You can’t help but feel a thrill of excitement watching them, the energy in the air contagious.
“Come on, Jungkook!” you shout, surprising yourself with how invested you’ve become.
Yebin laughs, nudging you again “I knew it,” she says with a smirk. “You’re totally into this.”
You laugh, shaking your head. “Maybe I am,” you admit, enjoying the moment more than you expected.
With a final burst of speed, Jungkook touches the wall just a fraction of a second before Jimin, and the group erupts into cheers and applause. You clap and cheer along with them, caught up in the excitement.
Jungkook surfaces, breathing hard but grinning from ear to ear. He looks over at you, his eyes twinkling, and you can’t help but smile back, feeling a strange but welcome warmth spread through your chest.
After another thirty minutes of swimming, everyone decides to call it a night. Joon-woo and Mingyu have already left a little earlier when their girlfriends have called. So it’s just you, Jungkook, Yebin, Jimin and Taehyung.
You wrap yourself in a fluffy towel that Jungkook handed out to everyone, feeling the warmth against your damp skin. As you and Yebin head toward the stairs, Jimin catches up with you.
"Hey," he says, a hopeful glint in his eyes, "do you wanna do like last time and have an after-party at my place?"
You glance at Yebin, who looks as tired as you feel, before turning back to Jimin. “Thanks, Jimin, but I think I’ve had so much fun here already that I’m not sure I’ll stay awake by the time we get to your place,” you reply with a friendly smile. “I’m really sorry.”
Jimin waves it off with a smile of his own. “It’s okay, I get it. No worries.”
A mischievous thought crosses your mind, and you quickly act on it. “But,” you add, giving Yebin a light nudge, “I think Yebin might be up for it. She just told me she wanted to have some more fun before calling it a night. Right?”
Yebin’s eyes widen in surprise as she shoots you a look. You can practically see the wheels turning in her head as she realizes what you’ve just done. She had mentioned wanting to extend the night earlier, but she didn’t expect you to tell Jimin directly. You know there’ll be a talk about this later, but you can’t help but grin, thinking she might actually thank you for pushing her into it.
Jimin looks at Yebin with a hopeful smile. “Really? That sounds great!”
Caught off guard but not wanting to disappoint, Yebin stammers for a second before finally nodding, a small smile forming on her lips. “Yeah, sure. Why not?”
You watch as Jimin’s face lights up, and he starts talking excitedly about the after-party. Meanwhile, Yebin gives you a sidelong glance that clearly says, I’m going to get you for this, but there’s a hint of gratitude there, too. You just smile back, shrugging innocently.
You feel a sense of satisfaction. Maybe this little nudge will lead to something more for them, and at the very least, it seems like the night is far from over for some.
While you wrap the towel tighter around yourself, you turn towards Jungkook and see Taehyung giving a brother hug “See you Jeon, good night.” Jungkook gives him a tap on the back before telling him to drive safely.
Heading to the stairs Taehyung sees you as he smiles before giving you a short hug too “Have a good night YN, it was fun to see you here.” You return the hug before thanking him and wishing him the same “Head home safe Tae” You smile.
As you watch Taehyung head upstairs, Jungkook walks over, towel wraps around his waist and a soft smile on his face. His wet hair falls slightly over his eyes, making him look almost boyish, a stark contrast to his usual confident demeanor. He stops in front of you, his gaze steady yet gentle.
"You had fun tonight?" he asks, his voice low, almost lost in the soft chatter of the others getting ready to leave.
You nod, wrapping the towel a bit tighter around your shoulders. "Yeah, it was… unexpected but in a good way. Your place is amazing, Jungkook. And that pool," you say, shaking your head with a small laugh, "I still can’t believe you have one in the basement."
Jungkook chuckles, rubbing the back of his neck bashfully. "Yeah, it’s kind of crazy, huh? But I’m glad you enjoyed it. I wasn’t sure if you’d be comfortable with everything."
You catch a hint of vulnerability in his eyes. It makes your heart squeeze a little, reminding you of the Jungkook you used to know—someone who, despite everything, always wanted the people around him to feel at ease.
"It was great," you assure him, smiling softly. "Really. I’m glad I came."
For a moment, there’s a comfortable silence between you, the kind that speaks more than words ever could. Then, Jungkook glances toward the stairs where Taehyung disappeared and back at you.
"So," he says, clearing his throat, "do you need a ride home? I don’t mind dropping you off."
You hesitate for a moment, feeling a flutter of something unidentifiable in your chest. There’s a part of you that wants to prolong this night, to keep talking and maybe find a bit more of the connection you once had. And the truth is, you’re not quite ready for the night to end yet.
Before you can answer, Yebin’s voice calls out from behind you, "Hey, are we heading out?"
You turn to see her waiting by the stairs with Jimin, both looking like they’re ready to continue their night elsewhere. You look back at Jungkook.
"I think I might actually stay a little longer," you say, your voice almost surprising yourself with its decisiveness. "If that’s okay with you?"
Jungkook's face lights up in a smile, the kind that reaches his eyes and makes them sparkle. "Of course, it's okay. I’d love to have you stay."
Yebin raises an eyebrow, giving you a knowing look before she shrugs. "Alright then, I guess I’ll see you tomorrow. Have fun!" she says with a wink, grabbing Jimin’s arm and heading up the stairs.
As they leave, the house grows quieter, and you realize it’s just you and Jungkook in the spacious basement. He looks at you, his expression soft but a little uncertain, as if he’s not sure what to say next.
"Do you want to grab a drink?" he suggests, nodding towards the stairs. "Or maybe swim a little more?"
You hum thoughtfully, feeling a mix of nerves and excitement flutter in your stomach. "We could grab a drink and enjoy it on the deck chair, and we’ll see where the night takes us."
He smiles, nodding in agreement before heading up the stairs to prepare the drinks and make sure the front door is locked after his friends left.
As the night unfolds, you find yourself easing into conversation with him, the awkwardness gradually melting away, replaced by a sense of comfort you haven't felt in a long time. There’s still so much left unsaid between you, a lot of complexities to navigate, but for now, you’re content just being here with him.
After finishing your drinks, you decide to go back into the pool. Jungkook has been swimming for about ten minutes, making lazy laps while you sit on the deck chair, watching him and laughing at his jokes.
Standing up, you remove your towel and drape it over the chair. As you approach the pool's edge, you notice that Jungkook is still underwater, gliding smoothly through the water. Taking the opportunity, you quietly slip into the pool, the cool water enveloping you as you enter without him noticing.
You move silently through the water, trying not to disturb the gentle ripples Jungkook is creating. A few moments pass, and he finally surfaces, his hair slicked back, water dripping down his face. He blinks a few times, surprised to see you so close.
"You snuck in here quietly," he says with a playful grin, wiping the water from his eyes.
You shrug, giving him a teasing smile. "Just wanted to see if I could surprise you."
Jungkook chuckles, moving closer to you, the space between you shrinking. "Well, mission accomplished."
For a moment, the two of you just float there, the water lapping softly around you. The mood shifts slightly, the lightness of the moment giving way to something more serious. His gaze holds yours, and you feel a familiar tension, the kind that’s been between you since the beginning of the night.
You smile, feeling a warmth spread through you. "It’s nice being here."
There’s a pause, the kind that feels heavy with unspoken words. The water around you seems to amplify the quiet, every small sound echoing. You wonder if now is the time to talk about everything that’s been left unsaid, or if you should just enjoy this rare, peaceful moment together.
“Hey-” he laughs as you splash water his way before he does the same.
You try to turn and swim away, but before you can get too far, you feel his strong arms wrap around you, gently pulling you back. You gasp softly as he brings you close, your back pressing against his chest. Despite the closeness, he leaves a small gap between you, his touch careful and respectful.
His breath is warm against your ear as he chuckles softly. “Not so fast,” he murmurs, his voice low and teasing. “I’ve got you now.”
Your heart races, the sensation of his body against yours sending a shiver down your spine. You twist slightly in his hold, half-turning to face him, your eyes locking with his. “And what are you going to do now that you’ve caught me?” you ask, your voice playful, but your heart hammering with anticipation.
He smirks, his gaze flicking to your lips for just a moment before meeting your eyes again. “Guess we’ll just have to see,” he replies, his tone filled with a mix of mischief and something deeper.
For a moment, everything else fades away—the cool water, the quiet of the house, the rest of the world. It’s just the two of you, caught in this moment, the tension between you palpable and electric. You can’t help but wonder what’s going to happen next, and as you stare into his eyes, you realize you don’t mind finding out.
Your version beautifully captures the tension and anticipation between the characters. Here's a slight tweak to enhance the scene's emotional depth and flow.
Arching your back, you press closer against him, and Jungkook gets the message, pulling you firmly to his chest until there’s no space left between you. Your heart races, the warmth of his body seeping into yours as you slowly turn around in his hold to face him.
Your gaze locks onto his, and for a moment, neither of you move. Your eyes slowly drift down to his beautiful, kissable lips, lingering there. The air between you feels charged, every inch of your skin tingling with the nearness of him.
You wrap your arms around his neck, your fingers gently brushing the nape of his neck. Leaning in just a bit, you test the waters, half-expecting him to pull away. But he doesn’t. Instead, his hands tighten slightly on your waist, holding you closer, his breath warm against your face.
It’s as if he’s waiting—waiting for you to move just a little closer, to close the small gap between you. And as you lean in, his lips meet yours.
Now, you can’t blame it on the drinks because you both only had non-alcoholic ones, and whatever you drank when you first arrived at his place has long since worn off.
His lips are warm and soft, moving gently against yours in a way that feels both familiar and thrillingly new. There's a moment of hesitation, as if you're both savoring the sensation, before the kiss deepens. Jungkook’s hands slide up to cradle your face, his thumbs brushing against your cheeks, sending shivers down your spine.
Your heart races as you press closer, your arms tightening around his neck. The world seems to fade away, leaving just the two of you floating in the water, the coolness of the pool a stark contrast to the heat of the kiss. His tongue lightly grazes your bottom lip, asking for entrance, and you part your lips slightly, allowing him in. The kiss becomes more passionate, and you lose yourself in the moment, forgetting everything else.
The kiss lingers, becoming a slow exploration, a rediscovery of something you didn't realize you missed so much. When you finally pull away for air, your foreheads rest against each other, and you both smile, a little breathless.
Jungkook's gaze flicks down to your lips again, and you feel a magnetic pull, like the universe is gently nudging you forward.
When your lips touch again, his arms wrap around you, pulling you closer with a possessive yet tender grip. His lips move with a slow, deliberate passion, and you melt into the kiss. You can taste the faint sweetness of the non-alcoholic drinks you both had earlier, mingling with the fresh, crisp scent of the water.
Jungkook’s touch becomes more insistent, guiding you into a more fervent embrace. You feel his heart racing against your chest, a thrilling reminder of how in sync you both are. Your hands explore the contours of his shoulders and back, feeling the subtle tension of his muscles as he responds to you.
You gasp when he wraps your legs around his middle so he can swim with you in his arms to the edge of the pool to rest your back against it, without breaking the kiss.
The edge is slightly elevated, but you remain comfortably afloat. Jungkook’s hands rest lightly on your waist, his touch warm and steady, holding you in place with a sense of intimacy and security. While you hug him closer to you.
Your eyes meet his, and the intensity in Jungkook’s gaze makes your breath hitch. As you inch closer to give him a peck on his lips, you giggle before gasping again when he turns you around so your back is facing him.
Jungkook kisses your cheek before trailing down your neck to give you a sloppy kiss “You smell so good YN.” You hum at the softness of his lips. Taking one of his hands, you guide him to pull you closer to his body.
But his hands went lower than you attended, reaching your lower belly and to the hem of your bottom swimsuit you inhale sharply.
"Tell me you want it too, if not I'll stop I promise" he whispers in your ears as he traces your lines under the water. Your breath becomes heavier from the way his hands roams against your body or because you were out of breath from kissing him "Jungkook I-"
Jungkook places his soft lips on your right shoulder, giving you a few ghostly kisses that make you freeze. “Tell me, sweetheart,” he murmurs, his breath warm against your skin before trailing up your earlobe to plant his lips yet again.
His voice is low and smooth, sending shivers down your spine. You can’t help but feel a mixture of excitement and anticipation as you turn your head slightly to meet his gaze, the proximity heightening the tension between you.
Keeping your eye contact, you take his tattooed hand that is on your waist to guide it to where you need him the most—at this instant. “Do something already.”
“You sure ?” unsure he asks, placing his head in the crook of your neck.
“If i am not i would have done something to push you away” you tell softly, putting your head on his shoulder, you look at him before giving him a soft kiss on his cheek.
He doesn’t wait for you to rush him again as his hand cups you before slipping the bottom on the side before inserting his index and his middle finger into you making you squeal and close your eyes.
“You are so wet” he says into your ear as if afraid someone could hear him. “We are in the water.” you manage to say despite what you feel with his fingers inside of you.
He giggles before pushing his hand even harder “You still want to tease me when I have you like that baby ?” he states while looking at your blissful expression with your mouth slightly open where your sounds come from when he makes you feel this good.
When you feel your orgasm coming, he pulls out his fingers making you whine “Why ar-” your gasp cuts you off when his fingers make their way into you again. But you also feel another presence on your ass which you know, his hardness is pressing against you which doubles the pleasure you feel.
“I am here baby, cum for me” hearing him say that, you don’t control before letting go.
“You were so good for me” Jungkook utters as you turn in his arms to face him. “I should be the one to say this to you” wrapping your arms around his neck you continue “I’ve never felt this way with just fingers, you are wow.”
He cutely smiles at you which makes you realize how this cute man in front of you was the one who made you moan minutes ago. “You haven’t seen all of me yet YN” he takes your legs and wraps them around him, whispering, “Hold onto me tightly, baby.” You follow his instruction, holding him close as he lifts you out of the water. He sits down on the pool deck with you on his lap, pulling you into a passionate kiss. One hand behind your neck and the other one that is on your waist is sliding up to your chest. “Hmm” you moan in the kiss when you feel him squeezing one of your breasts. You start to grind your hips to feel some friction and break the kiss “I want you now” you utter.
Hoisting you up in his arms, Jungkook walks over to the couch in the corner beside the pool before gently laying you down. “Wait here, let me just grab a condom,” he says quickly, darting towards the nearest bathroom.
When he returns, he sees you sitting on your knees on the couch without your bikini bottom but you kept your top. However, that makes him try to hide his smirk before walking up to you and taking off his swim shorts and putting on the protection.
Your eyes trail his body up and down before landing on his member that makes you gulp. The last time you saw him naked, you couldn’t watch him as it was pretty quick and it was in a dark hotel room. Now you can take your time to admire his beautiful body. Without thinking you reach for his member with your hands, you hear him heave a heavy breath that makes you look up to look into his eyes.
Before you can do something with his cock, he stops you by caressing your cheek “You don’t have to YN” you are about to reason but he puts his index finger on your lips “No. Another time, I want to make you feel good tonight. Let me have you please.”
Hearing him, you utter “You have me Kook.”
He groans before laying you back down on the couch, and him on top of you, kissing sloppily on your neck that you are sure there will be marks. He pushes his hardness into your core and makes you sigh. You can’t wait anymore so you push him onto the couch so that you can be on top, straddling his lap with your legs on either side of him. Looking at him, you see his surprise in his eyes, giving him a quick peck “What” you giggle “I want to be in charge, if you don’t mind”.
“I don’t mind” He chuckles as he grabs your hips and places you on his cock. You begin to grind, he exhales slowly, the weight of the breath almost audible. When you finally put him inside of you, you both hum with pleasure.
“You feel so good” you cry out, you continue to adjust and go up and down with your rhythm before you find the extreme pleasure that makes you go a little faster. Also, with his hands squeezing your butt, he helps your movements. Reaching behind you, you release the knot from the bikini top. As the knot came undone, the straps fell away from your shoulders. You let out a sigh of relief, feeling the cool air against your skin.
Jungkook has had his eyes on you since earlier so when he sees your chest being revealed, he was about to choke on his saliva, he gulps. Watching this view from below is not how he thought the night would go. “You are so beautiful.” He tells you.
You couldn’t respond with him sitting up to take your perky nipples into his mouth and fucking you from below. You release a blissful sound, wrapping your arms around his neck, you hug him as you try to meet his thrusts.
“I am close” you whisper in ecstasy. “Me too baby” shoving his hips into yours for a minute before you both finish. Jungkook lays back down with you laying onto his chest as you both pant. He kisses your forehead “You are amazing” you look up at him as you say “As you are.”
You both can’t seem to stay away so are your hands.
Under the cascading shower, the world outside seems to fade away as you and Jungkook find yourselves lost in the moment again. The warmth of the water is nothing compared to the heat between you. With every glance and touch, the attraction becomes undeniable. Jungkook's fingers trace a gentle path along your skin, sending shivers of anticipation through you. Unable to resist, his lips meet yours in a kiss that is both tender and urgent. The kiss deepens as the water envelops you both, amplifying the intimacy of the moment. Hands explore with a mix of tenderness and longing, each touch a silent confession of the feelings you share. In that intimate space, everything else ceases to matter, leaving only the shared warmth and closeness of the two of you.
As the morning comes, the sun shining through the curtains of Jungkook’s room wakes you up. You try to stretch, but it’s hard to move with the man in your arms holding onto you so tightly, as if he’s afraid you might disappear. His breath tickles your neck, his face nestled into the crook of it, and his arm is draped around your waist, pulling you close.
You smile softly, feeling a mix of warmth and contentment. Carefully, you try to adjust yourself without waking him, but the slight movement causes him to tighten his grip, murmuring something unintelligible in his sleep. You let out a quiet chuckle, finding his sleepy clinginess endearing.
For a moment, you close your eyes again, savoring the feeling of being wrapped up in his embrace, his steady breathing calming your thoughts. This closeness feels natural, as if you both belong here, in this moment, together.
"Morning," his raspy voice murmurs, pulling you from your thoughts. You open your eyes to find Jungkook gazing at you, his expression soft and sleepy. "Morning, Kook," you reply, a smile spreading across your face at how adorable he looks in the morning.
This is the first time you've seen him like this—waking up next to him, with him nestled in your arms. There's something incredibly peaceful about the moment, as if the world outside doesn’t exist, and it’s just the two of you in this quiet, intimate space. His hair is tousled, his eyes still heavy with sleep, and there's a lazy grin on his lips that makes your heart flutter.
Well you've ended up in bed with Jungkook before, but it was not like this—not this sweet, quiet moment filled with tenderness. This time, there’s no awkwardness, no rush to get up or figure out what comes next. Just the two of you, wrapped up in each other, basking in the warmth of the early morning light streaming through the curtains.
You can't help but think how much you could get used to mornings like this, waking up beside him, feeling his warmth and the comfort of his presence.
“I would like to stay here, but we should get up and eat something. We still need to talk,” you say softly, not wanting to rush him or break the peaceful bubble you’re both in.
Jungkook groans, burying his face deeper into the crook of your neck as he pulls you closer, his grip around your waist tightening. “Just a little more, baby,” he murmurs, his voice thick with sleep and something that sounds almost like reluctance.
His cute, sleepy plea makes you giggle softly, the sound filling the quiet room. You can't resist the way he nuzzles into you, his breath warm against your skin, so you give in with a gentle nod. “Alright,” you whisper, running your fingers through his tousled hair, feeling the soft strands slip between your fingers. “Just a little longer.”
“So”, Jungkook clears his throat, breaking the silence “about what happened between us,” he begins, his voice tentative, searching your face for any hint of how you might be feeling.
After finishing breakfast, you and Jungkook find yourselves back on the couch in his living room. The morning sun filters through the curtains, casting soft, golden light across the room. There's a palpable tension in the air as you sit next to each other, the lingering taste of iced coffee on your lips. Both of you know the conversation that needs to happen, but neither seems eager to start.
You nod, folding your legs under you as you turn to face him. “Yeah, I’ve been thinking about it a lot. About that night… and what it meant for us.”
He runs a hand through his hair, his eyes avoiding yours for a moment. “I know it was intense. And I know we agreed back then that it was just a one-time thing. But it was more than that, wasn’t it?”
You bite your lip, remembering how things had changed between you after that night. “It was, Jungkook. It really was. But I think we both needed time to understand what it meant for us individually. I needed to figure out what I wanted, and I guess you did too.”
Jungkook nods, his expression earnest. “I felt the same. It was confusing, and it scared me. I didn’t want to lose you as a friend, but I didn’t know how to handle what was happening between us. That’s why I suggested we take a break from our friendship, to grow and see where we stood on our own.”
You let out a sigh, your shoulders relaxing a little. “I’m glad we did, though. Even if it hurt at the time. I think we both needed that space. It gave us the chance to reflect and figure things out, to understand ourselves better.”
He reaches out, gently taking your hand in his. “I missed you, you know. Every day. But I’m glad we’re here now, having this conversation. It feels like we’re finally being honest with each other, not hiding from what we really feel.”
You squeeze his hand, feeling a wave of emotion wash over you. “I missed you too, Jungkook. More than I thought I would. And I guess… I’m ready to be honest about what I want now.”
He smiles softly, his eyes meeting yours with a newfound openness. “Me too. So, where do we go from here?”
You take a deep breath, considering his question. “I think… We take it one step at a time. No pressure, no expectations. Just seeing where this goes, together.”
Jungkook nods, his smile growing. “I’d like that. I’d really like that.”
As you sit there, hand in hand, Jungkook gently pulls you into his arms, wrapping you in a comforting embrace. You both realize that this new beginning might be just what you needed—a chance to rebuild, grow, and explore what lies ahead together.
“I guess we’ve found our way back to each other after all,” you say with a soft smile, breaking the hug slightly to inch closer to his face. The warmth of his breath on your skin sends a familiar shiver down your spine.
“I think we have,” he hums, his eyes locking onto yours with a mix of affection and anticipation. Slowly, he leans in, as Jungkook’s lips meet yours, you both can't help but smile into the kiss. It’s a soft, tender moment filled with warmth and understanding, and you can feel the tension of the past few months melting away.
His smile grows against your lips, and you can’t help but let out a light laugh, feeling a giddy mix of relief and happiness. The kiss deepens naturally, your smiles lingering as you savor the feeling of being close again, the unspoken promise of a fresh start sealing between you.
