When working on @ask-marios-apprentice . This is a sort of mindset I have to go in when working on that.

Not to mention the addition of things like SMG4, real world Nintendo history, @lonelygoomba, my own original ideas, I'm pretty sure plenty of other things have worked their way in.

I have to factor a lot when working on it.

Even if you don't do this or just want to cherry pick it's fine.

To all the people in general and the people I @ . This is the kind of mindset I work with.

The extended Marioverse is very amusing to think about. On one side, you got a lush tropical island that looks like it came from an art class for young kids. The island inhabited by these friendly dinosaur dragons that make for excellent babysitters.

Another corner has a wealthy city where man and anthropomorphic animals coexist. It's home of some of the most popular video games out there, with a number of minigames referencing retro games and events that would technically be part of this universe's history. The worst it gets here is silly anime and sitcom stuff.

And on the other side of that regional coin, a band of kutthroat reptilian pirates led by a His Royal Sociopath whose hatred for all things primate could rival that of Frieza.

Going out into the final frontier would let you experience countless planetoids of all shapes and sizes, and the mother of the cosmos. While she may seem aloof and lonely, she's actually an adoptive mother of thousands and is slowly coming out of her shell to enjoy life. Though don't want too far off from her lest you stumble across a dying planet of aliens who only know of genocide.

But if you look back to the planet, you might see something crazy like an island of witches or a war between squirrels and cyborg teddy bears.

Every person involved with this project: THANK YOU. I am unashamed in saying I watched this cartoon as a child. It was one of my favorites. So hearing these voices again as well seeing as the heart and passion it took to make this was nothing short of a blast! Special shoutout to Benedict Campbell! You still got it as The King!

This is made by the same guy who did the curse of the crystal coconut animation

God, the animation is so smooth, and this original song is as good as Disney renaissance hits like Be Prepared or Hellfire. It’s been stuck in my head since it came out.

I also love the idea of King K Rool coming back into the franchise after essentially being forced out of it for 15 years and having his role replaced, and him being extremely pissed about it and becoming more loony. To the point he almost becomes like the joker to Donky Kong’s Batman.

Fiddling around with different skin tones and facial structures, these are my versions!

K. Rool is an african crocodile, so I kept the ethnicity of his species the same.

Bowser is of an asian background, due to his castle representing traditional asian architecture in Odyssey.

Dedede is... I have no clue. He's a giant blue penguin. Let's assume since his universe is based around space that he's an extraterrestrial. Like Starfire, who has vibrant orange skin and bright pink hair.

King Wart/Mamu is Arabic like the protagonists of his original game, Yume Kōjō: Doki Doki Panic.

If illumination makes the Donkey Kong movie, they should have this as a potential casting choice

chat I love really tall structures. Like. Crocodile Isle from DKC 2?? Amazing! It’s always so cool seeing like, this massive thing that reaches the sky, layered with many areas. Usually ends with an epic backdrop of a storm at the peak of mountains or a tower. Or maybe it ends like how DKC 2 ended with a flying ship thingy. I LOVE TALL STRUCTURES AND PLACES.

Me when I constantly have to witness the shit stain known as Sonadow, one of the worst ships ever created and I wish for it to burn in hell and anyone that actually ships them to see a priest.

But on the bright side, HYPE FOR SONIC GENERATIONS REMASTER!!!

i drew this back in January or February i think? it was for a homework so i decided to do a “promotional poster” for Smash even though it’s been out since last december. 

Bayonetta and Lucina are among my faves to use but i love Sonic and K. Rool too

for some reason this one got reposted in a couple other accounts in Instagram when i uploaded it?? one didn’t credit me but that’s alright, it got fixed in the end
