Yet you're still nervous and easily flustered by everything he does, but don't you want to ask him out on a nice little date as a treat for your day off? "Uhm- Dazai..?" You ask as your hand taps his shoulder. "You must not sneak up on me like that! What do you want, [Name]?" He pauses the music and takes the headphones off as he looks at you. A pang of guilt started to swallow you. "I just wanted to..ask you on a date..this Friday.." Your heart fluttered as you spoke the words. Dazai's eyebrows raise "A date with me? Why, I'm flattered! Let me think... Yes, of course! I would love to!" he smiles. "There's one condition though..." "Which is..?" You ask with a blush. He smiles at you as he started to speak "I'm in charge of planning the date! My plans are flawless, you'll love them! Of course, you must never speak of our date to anyone else. He says as his eyes sparkle "Alright.." *Timeskip to the date* You and Dazai are at a very elegant and fancy restaurant, sitting across from each other at a table. "There are candles and flowers everywhere How do you like this so far?" He asks, looking around him "I wanted us to have the most elegant of settings. I made sure everything would be perfect!" He said, looking into your eyes with a smile. "It's amazing..you didn't have to go this far though..! Not that I'm complaining." You stated as he chuckles "I never do things halfway! "Uhm, tetcho, darling..You've been staring at that ant colony for 4 hours now...aren't you getting tired?" but then again, isn't that one of the reasons why you fell for him? "Yes, I have...The ants have managed to create a complex colony in a short amount of time... They work together as if they are one unit, and yet, they are all separate entities. They all work for one goal; to survive. To thrive. They all understand their place in this world...Their colony may not last, nor is it likely to evolve into something more... But the way they function has fascinated me, and thus, I am observing them."

You look at him with slight confusion, how..? "Uhm, don't you want to go home now?" You might as well just sit down next to him and watch the ant colony with him but you're getting quite tired and nervous from the people staring at you every time someone walks by.

"Home? No. I am not yet done observing..."He resumes watching the ants as if they were the most interesting thing in the world. After a moment, a small ant moves from the colony. Tetchou’s attention is caught, and he watches it move, seemingly without any purpose. "The ant is leaving its home... For what purpose? It seems to be wandering aimlessly..." The observation continues, and soon, he seems to be lost in thought.

"Darling can we please go home-"

Hours seem to have passed. The sun is gone, and the moon is up. "Ah... It seems that time has passed by... That is good, I suppose..."He makes an attempt at standing up but fails. He seems weak, his strength has vanished. "I do not have the strength to get up..."It seems he will soon be unable to continue to watch the ants, although he seems almost reluctant to do so... It appears they have been observed for a long time. He's quite dedicated.

"ah..uhm- I'll help you up!" Grabbing his arm and putting it around me, standing up, and guiding him. "Oh... Thank you." His energy seems to have completely disappeared and as you help him up, he can feel himself sway slightly before his vision starts to darken and he collapses. His weight is still on you. This may be a slight inconvenience…. "Wha- Tetcho!" looking at him with concern and worry before carrying him on a piggyback ride, you can only hear the faint sound of his breathing. It seems he will soon be fine, but until then, he will remain unconscious and in your arms. He is surprisingly light…? Either way, you let out a sigh as you walk back home with him on your back.

After some time, Tetchou regains consciousness. The sunlight is up once more, and you are at your home. He sits up, although he looks around as if he lacks awareness of his surroundings. Soon, when he sees you, his face lit up, as if he’s finally registered your presence. He looks happy to see you. He stands up and stretches, seemingly without any ill effects from his earlier collapsing. "Oh. Did I pass out…? He asks as he looks at you. Had it not been obvious?

"I’m sorry… I lost track of time… I think…" He seems to be lost for words for a moment, quite rare, isn't it? "I am very much sorry…" shaking your head, you spoke "No no! it's alright..here, drink this" Offering him a glass of water, quite confused but you shrugged it off. What are you confused about?

He takes the glass and drinks it, but stops for a moment when he sees your face. "Are you… angry…?" The concern is visible on his face. He seems genuinely hurt or worried over the possibility of him upsetting you. He’s worried he’s ruined his own image. "Please… tell me…" He seems almost desperate for an answer, for your approval. He has become attached to you far too quickly these past months, yet it's the same for you, isn't it?

looking at him before shaking your head, slightly nervous "No! i mean- why would i be mad..?" What made him think you're mad..? "Oh… Really…?" When he realizes that you aren’t angry, relief floods over him, and he takes another sip from the glass. You smile at him. "I don't see a reason to be mad at you, you know?" His face lights up fully, and he gives you an almost sickeningly sweet smile in return. "I am glad to hear that." He takes another sip. Soon, his face shifts into something more serious or, at least, less excited. "What exactly was I doing before I passed out?" ...He forgot?
