So...for the fun of it, I've been thinking of crossovers again. Mostly still a Marvel and Arcane/League of Legends crossover. Doing this little series of "WHAT IF...?" Where I write down a one-shot that is a random idea I have had for my Marvel/LoL crossover so that I don't overflow the main story with random shit that does not need to be there.
First chapter up is basically an idea I scrapped after I started writing Schism. This is what could have happened. I decided to go another route since I had a feeling I would not have much fun writing Schism if I just retread Arcane Season 1 just with added characters. While for chapter 2 someone shared an idea and said I could use it if I wanted, so I figured "Why not try writing that?"
Also, still thinking about Marvel/Arcane crossovers, since I am writing a fanfic with that. Speaking of the fanfic, I sometimes wish I had other ideas when I first started writing it, as I have these interesting ideas later but don't want to just throw a new character in for no reason. So, I decided that the next small handful of chapters are going to be centered around the Contest of Champions. Might for a bit of variety throw Capcom characters in, might not. Still on the fence about that. Just have them from different planets instead of Earth.
For the LoL/Arcane side, it's just going to going to be Zaun and Piltover characters that get brought to the Contest. At least those with the ability to fight.
I definitely plan on having some fun interactions with what relationships I already have written, as well as build off ones from both Arcane and Marvel like I have been with the fic. Might include the New X-Men as some of Grandmaster’s fighters in the CoC.
If I had to describe this song, it would be something like haunting yet beautiful. The strings and drum beats mixed with Gordy's vocals is a great combination for an idea for a story of the fallen angel.
I have also had Arcane on the brain lately, so at some point when listening to this, the idea of this being something a montage of Jinx is set to just kind of popped into my head. It could be used for either her relationship with Vander or Silco, maybe both. The idea that she had sort of "rebelled" and done something to cause a rift with her father.
Now, the way the rift between father and child is very different for Lucifer and Jinx, but I can imagine in some alternate universe, that both could be acquaintances at the very least.
