He watched her out the corner of his eyes, she was nervous. She continued to abuse her now swollen lower lip, but her eyes were unfocused and swimming in thoughts of the unknowing demon lord.
He sighed and turned sharply to stand face to face with the now startled woman. "Miko," his voice broke her revire, "If you are troubled, speak."
She blushed all the way down her neck, feeling as though she'd been struck by lightning. "I'm not troubled! Just, let's keep going. The sun is going down," she stammered.
Exasperated he uncharacteristically sighed, "Hit this one."
Kagome blinked owlishly at him, "Pardon?"
His eyes darted to her reddened lips, "You abuse them." After a moment when she still said nothing, he spoke again, "Instead of harming yourself, take out your frustration on this one."
"Yeah, nah," she laughed nervously.
"I shall not harm you," he spoke seeing doubt sweep through her azure eyes, "You have my word."
Feeling brave, she reached for him, small hands grasping a swath of silk pulling his height to hers. Softly she kissed him caught in the moment, bravery fueling her actions. She caught his lower lip between blunt teeth, "How much 'frustration' can I take out on you before you reach your limit?"
He snapped around her, hauling her thighs around his hips, "I've met my limit with you woman," he growled.
