Chapter 2 is up!

I wanted to fuss with this more and I could have, but I didn't. I figured it was better to post it a little bit rough than to obsess over it and keep people waiting. 😂 Thank you for being so passionate about this. Poor Amelia. I really went all out making her the worst. Because I think it's important to manage expectations, I have to honestly (and sadly) tell you that she will probably not get punched in the face. As satisfying as it would be in the moment, Amelia LIVES to have a reason to act victimized. If you booped her on the nose she'd cry and say you broke it. The cruelest thing you can do is ignore people like her, because they only thrive on attention. Take it away and she'll fall apart faster than a hard shell taco.

But if you want to read Amelia getting her just desserts, I highly recommend Amelia Can't Win. It's so fun and well-written and Marshall is very hot dickhead and @longbobmckenzie assures me that Amelia will be getting a very satisfying comeuppance.

Different anon here, but I hope everyone sees Ratmelia for who she is. I just want islanders to find out what she did to Lewie and they realise what an awful human being she is. (hope this ask was okay without giving anything away.)

For anyone reading The Sweetest Sting, the hot chapter is coming (heh) but it'll be on Thursday. I was distracted by boops all day yesterday when I should have been editing, and I'm gonna be distracted tomorrow with the new episodes and my beloved Max. So Thursday it is. Sorry for the delay!

Hey, did you know you can get migraines in your eyeballs? And it can last for days? I sure didn't! I honestly thought I had a stroke when I woke up with a horrific headache, nausea, and blurry vision in one eye.

So, The Sweetest Sting is delayed until Tuesday. I decided to add in some Amelia stuff as the people have spoken but I've been unable to really work on it for two days. I'm so sorry. I thought I'd be finishing it up by now but life (and eyeballs) have decided differently.

Hopefully this little snippet will tide you over:

Marshall looked down at her, his brow furrowed. Then without a word, he shoved her against the side wall. There was no preamble, no teasing. He kissed her, deep and rough. She moaned against his demanding mouth as he gripped her braids. When he pulled back, she wanted to scream with frustration. “Since I stepped foot in this place,” he said. “You’ve been the only one I wanted. But I’m not the type to give you more than this.” His grip tightened in her hair and he kissed her again. “There’s something about you. You make me wish I could commit to just one girl. But I can’t.” His eyes glittered with a pain she didn’t fully understand. Before she could react, he spun her around, her back to his chest so she was facing the doorway, where Lewie stood frozen. “He can, though.”

I started reading The Sweetest Sting earlier tonight, and. I know the fic's good when I want to read more right now, even though I specifically told myself that I'd pace myself with 2 chapters a day, leading up to this coming chapter 😭

I'm still replaying that scene where Ozzy cracked on with Grace between the sheets in CHAPTER ONE.. oh my god

The Sweetest Sting (Migraine Edition)

So this new chapter? It's almost done. I think I figured out how to balance the ending with some new Amelia stuff. However, I had my eye dilated again today at the specialist's office and I slept off the ensuing migraine all day. Literally 2pm to 10pm. So it's not ready to post yet. Since the new eps are tomorrow, I'm posting this chapter on Thursday, for sure. Also it ended up being 41 pages long, so I broke it into two. You'll get this one on Thursday and the last one on Monday and then an epilogue the following week. Unless my eyeballs fall out and roll away, in which case, good luck figuring out how I planned to end it 😂

My head hurts.
