I bought Love Run and TH&TW today! I now own all three TAD albums 😄😄😄 This might be the best day of my life
So I've gained a lot (in my opinion,at least hahahaha) of followers on here lately. I have no idea why,but...thank you? I'm not on tumblr with the goal of having lots of followers, I literally made the account to interact with the TAD fandom a bit more. Hahahhaah but,yeah,thanks.
So this is apparently a charity race,but when I first saw the t-shirt, I was like TAD???!!!!! Hahahhahaha
it bothers me that you often don't really hear about people having a "favorite album" the way they might have a favorite movie or favorite video game
Joey Batey and Madeleine Hyland showed reckless disregard for my health when they put New York Torch Song right before Two Minutes in the Love Run album. Like they really went from drums and cymbals, traffic and sirens, turbulence and "fuck youuuuuuuuu" to soft, stripped down, melancholy piano and "we've left all the blinking lights and shouting behind us now" then expected me to just... idk, cope with it, I guess. I'm not coping. I'm not coping very much.
oh. oh. oh. oh. when madeleine sings "what holy men really mean when they / speak of all thats been and all that wont / and why you cannot sleep for sighing / why womanhood is more than crying / i’m stronger now than you have ever known" joey sings "why wont you fight for me?" in the back. just barely, BARELY there in the recording but clear as fucking day in the live version with the other lady's harmonies. oh my god

love run is my favorite the amazing devil album, and just my favorite album ever actually???? like gods don't get me wrong ruin and the horror and the wild are masterpieces but love run actually breaks me. LIKE KH GOD THE SONG IVE KNOWN HAS BEGUN???? LOVE RUN FOR ALL THE THINGS WEVE WISHED WEVE DONE !!! can never recover ever actually
every love run song is more than a 10/10, because oh god OH GOD sobbing
