Transcript: The whole point of AUs is you can change whatever you want to make your own world, your own versions of things. If someone likes parts of a problematic AU, then they make an interpretation of it that fits their vision, not the problematic creator's.

Like, I personally really like my own version of Lusttale. It centers around trauma and recovery, and how platonic relationships can develop despite being in such a hypersexual world. But I'm worried about talking about it, because I know people are probably going to accuse me of agreeing with Lusttale's creator just because I use characters from their AU. I know some people might even tell me they want to kill me.

I don't want to be told someone wants me dead just because they refuse to look beyond their surface-level belief of 'anything Lusttale = BAD!!'

This is a multiverse, you can change and remove things however you wish. I've chosen to treat Lusttale as both a Mr. Potato Head and a chia pet; I've removed what I don't like and am using what's left as a building block for my own ideas.

A Different Undertale

I have a new AU idea but this one is more story focused than art focused and also contains adult themes. So be warned!

This is basically a fusion between Underfell, Mafiatale, and Negatale with some minor inspirations from Lusttale and Horror/Axetale

In this universe the humans sealed the monsters underground but along with them, they sealed away their pain and suffering. So the humans have found nothing but peace and prosperity while the monsters have violence and suffering. And any human who falls underground will have their hope taken away.

When Chara fell while trying to meet the monsters the broke their arms and legs and were reduced to a wheelchair. Despite this Asgore (who resented humanity) was still suspicious of them so when Asriel accidentally poisoned himself (unrelated to Chara) he blamed Chara and killed them. Toriel was banished to the Ruins for helping humanity and has since developed memory loss. She doesn't remember who killed her children all she knows is it was someone she loved (so when she fights you she assumes that person was you meaning you can't run away). Asgore declared war on humanity and banned all human creations like anime, magicless weapons, and even homosexuality.

The underground is filled with despair, gangs, drugs, violence, and injustice. Only the kindness of one human, who fell and lost all their memories, can save them
