So.. I was playing animal crossing again. I swear this will not be the only thing I talk about, but I am just very excited and I have a lot of thoughts!

Today, the museum is under construction, the shop is all built, I caught the arapaima I mentioned last night, I went on a wild hunt for a cicada shell after I accidentally threw my last one away (shaking my fist at drift), aaaand I caught a coelacanth!! Really hoping I spelled that right.

This was from last night, I spent like 5 minutes trying to get it right.

Oh!! I also got the three houses set up. I just thought this was funny.

The other boy!! Look how pretty!! I can't wait to see my boys in the museum. Speaking of boys I NEED C.J. to come to Starfall, I cannot go to my house without waiting for so many fish to spawn..

I like to fish. I refuse to sell them without C.J. because I know as soon as I do, he's gonna arrive, and I will have the urge to throw my switch in the nearest ocean. (not serious)

With Timmy and Tommy in the shop, Mr. Nook looked lonely, so I kinda stood here for an hour and a half while I watched sport with mom.

And that's all I did!! I think!! I am excited to unlock terraforming!! I have attempted it on my very first island, but seeing as I am on my 6th and have not tried it again, it is safe to assume it did not go well. But!! I want to try again with Starfall!!

I wanna ramble about my little stories and characters but that means I have to work on them and I don't have the spoons for that.. sob sob.. (/silly)

If anyone is curious about any of them, I can give a little blurb!! Most are newer ideas and haven't been smoothed out, so I'll probably be making stuff up as I go. But making stuff up is writing!!

I talked a bit about Ollie and Lucky Against the World and No Flash Photography Please here. Those are my oldest stories I think. Against the World (oalatw for short because that's a lot of typing(no I don't know how to pronounce that, haha!!)) is definitely the one I poured most of my heart in. I haven't done anything for it in a bit, and I still need to fix up my characters, but I think about them a lot. A new development is that Jasper really likes collecting bolts and screws and others of that sort. Like, whenever Lucky goes to the hardware store to buy stuff for Marsh's robotics club or the sudden passion projects of Bonnie, Skye, and Ollie or even for their camera repair shop, Jasper will come with. Jasper got them special store time walkie talkies just for when Lucky is running to the hardware store. Cause Lucky and Jasper are the only ones who like going! Ollie disappears down the paint isle never to be seen again. Bonnie stares at the lamps like she's a moth in heaven. Skye just doesn't like going. Marsh sits in the cart the whole time. And Holly is banned from the hardware store. Wren and Wilbur (the parents) stopped going after Lucky took over the trips and just leaves them a little list of the things that they need and some money.

Lucky actually does most of the shopping in the house. The parents are busy with work, Ollie and Bonnie and Skye are all doing in person college, Lucky is "doing college from home" (*cough* dropped out and hasn't told anyone *cough*), and Marsh and Jasper and Holly are all going to their own schools.

Occasionally Colin stops by with some goodies and treats, but he doesn't really do the shopping. Colin is Wren's ex. He's the dad of Bonnie, Ollie, Jasper, and Holly. I could go on about their wacky family past and whatever Colin is going. But I won't because I want to talk more about Lucky's job(s).

So in this world, it's customary for kids to live at home through college or stay with family in a different town, rather than move out or get dorms and stuff. The dorms are only for people who do not have family where the college is, or who NEED to leave. The kids who are doing school from home usually get at least two part time jobs because the only course load is notably lighter than the brick and mortar course load. (Disclaimer, I have not gone to college, I am pulling this out of my ass.) So Lucky used to be in college for mechanics/engineering. That is usually a brick and mortar course, but Lucky started college while they were still in high school, so they were allowed to be online, and just never moved over.

Lucky works for the Snowthorne library, and Cat's Eye Cafe(a silly joke because they are cats and when Wilbur met his wife Elena, she gave him a Tiger's Eye stone), which is their dad's little coffee shop. In addition to this, Lucky runs a little at home repair shop to make a bit more money. So they'll fix things like toasters and game consoles. They specialize in cameras, and they have worked on things like cars and fridges. .. For some reason. For the bigger jobs, Lucky will go to the client's house and do their little repair stuff. So Lucky needs to run to the hardware store quite often.

Oh! And another reason Jasper likes going to the hardware store is because he is trying to learn how to make his own ghost buster equipment. .. it's not going so well, but they're trying!! Marsh and Lucky help him a bit. Marsh doesn't really specialize in that kinda stuff though. He does a lot of bot fighting type stuff. Cause it's cool.

Can you tell I like Lucky? I like Lucky a lot. I have also rambled for FAR too long, very sorry about that. I gotta work on spreading it to smaller thought dumps more frequently. Rather than one massive blurb once every blue moon. Haha!!

It is day 7 on my animal crossing island. CJ is still not here. My island has gotten significantly worse. I have banned myself from fishing. Everything is going to shit.

Soo... I can't attach the video to this post, so I'm adding it here. =]

I have lost a few bugs in the process.. I accidentally released them instead of placing them. I considered organizing it between fish and bugs, but then I thought "fuck that. I'm halfway done. That is future Mack's problem."

Buuut, I am seeing an opportunity to fill in those empty spaces,,(dramatic pause) with more fish!! So if you need me, check the rivers.

I have work tomorrow and I'm actually kind of excited even though it's just a refresher training. But it means I get to mess with the lights and the cables and I might be able to go up to the weight rail!!!

I love my job whenever I actually get a shift!! <3<3 (totally not passive aggressive about that- /silly)

So I'm sitting in Mom's office while she does something, and I'm so incredibly bored. I'm going through files for her and playing a bit of pretend. Instead of searching the files for sensitive information, I am pretending that there was a series of murders and I am trying to figure out who did it. Whenever I see something that needs to be shredded, that's a suspect. (I can't set aside the whole file, so that part is just completely imaginary. I have to take the page out and set it aside.)

Currently I have 5 prime suspects and a lot more files to go through. One of my suspects has notably more information on them (an older file), I'll have to analyze the situation closer (already finished the file). Detective Mackerel, out.

Oh I do not like risers.. They're big and heavy and ker-clunkity. I am made into a fool every time I have to set them up or put them away.

This is my official declaration of having beef with risers. You and me, risers, we're fighting. Out back right now. I cannot continue to have my reputation utterly trashed whenever you are in my presence.

Anyway!! Training went well!! Lighting my beloved <3<3<3. Cable management, I didn't know you could be missed, but you were missed. Oh catwalks!! What ever will I do without you!! Risers.. PIN RAIL MY GOOD FRIEND!!!

I caught the plague (covid), so I'm taking the opportunity to work on Against the World and play animal crossing (cj still isnt here btw). I did a massive change in characters and story, because I realized that I did not like what I had. It is much better now! Hooray! Yippee!

I've also been watching racing and sports with mom, this was probably a bad idea, but oh well.

I would love to do a big ramble on all the changes, but I do not have the brain power to do so. So I am going to either write or take a nap. Goodbye!

Mackerel is back with another question. So I have this story called "Ollie and Lucky Against the World", "Against the World" for short, and I've been thinking of changing the name. So I am leaving that decision to the good people of Tumblr!!

Not worth the shot is a nod to what got them in this mess. Against the world is saying that it's just Ollie and Lucky now.

I have a slight preference, I'm not saying to which, but I do have a preference. I think.

Ok so I got bored of writing what I was writing and have started something new and I am going absolutely feral over it and need to talk about it.

I thought of it like less than two hours ago it is not fully developed in ANY way.

Ok, so I'm calling it "Flawless" and that's the funny bit. So a good kind of description of what is going on in my mind is like, therapy gone wrong. You'll see.

So there's a small cast of characters living together and they are the embodiment of a singular person's "worst traits". I'll give an example, don't look too deep into it.

But the whole thing is "What do you see as your worst traits. Characterize it."

Example time! One little guy could be characterized like:

- Controlling / Bossy

- Anger issues

- Selfish

- Impatient

Now that is a shortened list of traits I shoved in a character. (I only have the one rn based on myself, it's new.(Don't look too deep into it.))

ANYWAY!!!! Now the therapy!! In the house(?) There are these statues that talk to the puppets. They have to correct them on their actions based on altercations the puppets have with each other. Now they do all have their own room as a "cool down zone" but are frequently pushed out of their rooms by the building itself or some invisible force or something I didn't think of yet.

It's supposed to be weird and abstract and just a little mental experiment for myself.

I am going absolutely feral over Flawless and I want to talk about it so bad and I'm also restraining myself from world building and explaining everything because it's not supposed to have an explanation.

Please ask me about Flawless I am desperate to talk about it. I am clawing at the walls of my enclosure.

Oh!! Inspired by dhmis, my annoyance at going on a walk, and being mad at against the world for not doing what I want it to do (/half joking)

So I've changed the direction of Flawless just slightly, and I'm a lot happier with it. It's a bit of a small-ish change but it cleans up a lot of the underdeveloped mess I left earlier.

Also!!! I am starting a research quest on Flawless!!! I have a list of things to look into and learn about (so I don't represent anything incorrectly), and I am very excited to continue this project further!!!

It is a bit late and I am actually at work currently (sob sob.. I wanna go to bed), so I will not get into it now, but I'll probably talk about it soon!!

It's been awhile since I updated you on my animal crossing island!!

Flick visited yesterday, but still no CJ. I'm starting to think he hates me or is afraid of coming here because I am still waiting. /silly

I finished the spinosaurus fossil!! That's my favorite dinosaur, actually!!

And today I got all of my house plots filled out and 3 stars!! So we held a party at Harvey's place!! Look at us go, dancing away!

And now something that is not animal crossing! But I've wanted to share for a bit but keep forgetting to save the video!

I was working on my time and shaving it down as much as I could. Because I'm not too good at Mario Kart. And I was so absolutely baffled by this that I needed to show it to someone!!! Look at me go!!! I was gonna look at videos on reducing time and whatnot but the one I looked at talked about stats, and I don't want stats, I was Isabelle on her silly little motorcycle. I was also working in this map only because the game thought that Bowser's Castle was my favorite and it is not.

I don't have a good intro, look at what I bought!!

hehehehehe I am very happy rn!! The horse is going to go either on top of my desk or next to Miss Fairy.

Mini Flawless ramble!!

I've gotten a lot done these past few days and it has been so very hard to not tell you absolutely everything. I got the central characters started and different scenarios to see how they would interact. I changed about half of what I said when I introduced Flawless. I have started to build a small mystery, and I am keeping on task of the original plan.

This whole project was a mix of two goals I had in mind. 1, make a cast of characters who hate each other more than words can explain. 2, try something new and get out of my comfort zone by making something abstract and weird. And I believe I am still doing that! It is hard to not explain everything. There are things I am not meant to know and things I have written down that you will never know.

Another thing I have noticed is I have a habit of making a bunch of silly little aus for characters. I love aus, they're fantastic and great and cool. And I was thinking of an au for Flawless where the story kind of goes differently. But I had to stop myself because that is not the point of this. The point of this is to make something and let other people fill in the blanks on what they believe it to mean. The point of this is to try something new and encourage other people to do the same.

Even if the story itself has acquired a deeper meaning, the point of this all is to explore a new outlet and direction of writing.

So, starting now, I will not tell you any more about Flawless's story or plans. I will talk about the characters and play around with concepts and scenarios, but the story will not come out until it is time.

HE IS HERE!!! AFTER 20 DAYS CJ HAS ARRIVED ON MY ISLAND

WOOOOOOO!!!!!!

Oh I'm so excited!! Hehehehehhehhehe!!!

I am at a sleepover and we're talking about childhood and playing with lps, so I need to tell you a story that my past best friend and I made. Prepare yourself.

So this spanned over the time of multiple weeks and I am confident that there are plot points that I do not remember.

So I played as I think a dog. My favorite was a cocker spaniel named Butterscotch. So I'm just gonna assume it was her. And my friend played as Ariel because we had those princess dolls. And my brother joined a few times as barbie.

Butterscotch was a spy who worked for a cat lps (I think) and we needed these documents for our spy operation to save all of littlest pet shop planet. (we're aliens btw) So Butterscotch who was the best spy, was sent down to earth to carry out the orders and sneaks into a princess party. She breaks into Ariel's office and demands to know where the documents are. Ariel says no and kills Butterscotch which starts a giant war/alien invasion to honor Butterscotch. Ariel has to sneak away and hide the documents and have a low profile during this whole thing. I remember a jail arc somewhere around here but not completely. And also an Ariel falls in love arc and there was a whole side story with her and Tinkerbell. And something revolving them being lost in the land of mlp. But that was a side story off of the main one. So the war wages on, pets are falling, princesses are falling, we're having to recruit the ponies and fairies to help the princesses, and then the stuffed animals to help the pets. There's also a whole kidnapping and experimentation thing going on too. But eventually Butterscotch gets found and is given a life flower, which revives her. So she's back in action. Then there's a whole other stew of unimportant side plots like Butterscotch going to school and Butterscotch turns into a mermaid and other stuff. She dies again at some point in time but she's back.

So she breaks into Ariel's apartment while her and Tinkerbell are having a date night. And she starts a fight with Ariel, but this time is occupied by Barbie!! Ariel shoves Tinkerbell in our closet to keep her safe because she can't let anyone know she has found love or something. Halfway through the fight Barbie decides that she's done taking orders from Butterscotch and does her own thing, claiming she needs the documents because her dream house needs to eat, I think? That was its own whole thing, my brother and I made up our own stories when I couldn't play with my friend. So then Tinkerbell says she's going to take the documents to her place to keep them safe, and then drops them on her way out. So we all dive for the documents and I don't remember who got them. I just remember writing some stupid message on a piece of paper and Ariel saying that the real documents were stolen. So they had to work together to get them back.

But then I moved away and we never got the end of the story. So... That was that. I know I'm missing so much but it was so many years ago, I just don't remember.

I had to give Butterscotch away a few years later and I still want her back, but oh well!

Kapp'n opened his boat tours yesterday so I went on the search for Brewster.

I also gave Blathers a Guppy and thought this was funny!

Zucker also came over yesterday! I do not have a table but I appreciate his message.

We had fun!! And then I made him a peach smoothie as a thank you for coming over!

And then today Goose came over to read, I redecorated even more after he left.

And I also watched a beetle try to cross a bridge. I didn't know they could do that.

GUYS!!!!! I AM SO HAPPY!!!!! If you told 10-11 year old me that my FAVORITE video game was going to be turned into a movie, they would have lost their mind! And I did!!!

I just got home, I happy stomped all over the place, I am absolutely beyond ecstatic right now!!!

The cinematography was absolutely beautiful, THE PUPPETS!!! OH MY GOSH I CAN RAMBLE FOR AGES, the cameos made me super excited, I never ever thought I'd ever be able to see a Five Nights at Freddy's movie.

I was trying so hard to keep quiet in the theater (I'm very chatty when it comes to movies, I was also the snack holder, so I couldn't move around all that much), seeing the animatronics move was amazing, THE BIG FORT!!! I WANNA BE THERE!!!!!, the gosh darn balloon boy scare got me every time (that was very well done), it was funny, I was so happy to see the lore, I was INVESTED!!!! It was seriously so well done, I'm so happy. OH!!! AND THE LIVING TOMBSTONE FOR THE CREDITS!!!!! NO WAY!!!! OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!

I want a movie poster and a physical copy now, I'm making everyone I know watch it, I have no idea how in the world I'm gonna keep calm at work tonight!!

By the way, my favorite animatronic is Bonnie, he's been my favorite since 5th grade and is the sole reason I like rabbits as much as I do. I want to hug him so bad, I am willing to do anything. (/silly)

One thing that I was looking forward to, but they didn't end up doing, was Freddy's little power out face. I thought it was gonna be at the end, but I think I was misunderstanding a joke as a "this is going to happen".

Before and after the movie!! I got all dressed up and wore a red bowtie for my favorite boy. I am going to go gush about the movie with my dog some more!

(I almost forgot!! While we were watching the movie, a Taylor Swift movie was playing in the next room so when it got quiet for us we could just hear her and it was SO FUNNY)

I have eaten wayyy too many sweets today, I'm gonna try to get pizza for dinner later, and watch any behind the scenes video I can find. Byeee

So I do this thing when I join new fandoms where I say I won't ship anything, because I don't like shipping. And then I find art of a pairing that's really cute or really funny, so I reblog it because "oh it's just cute / funny" or "oh it's just a silly crack ship". And then I find more. And now here I am, reblog account covered in Royalteeth, frothing at the mouth and scavenging the tags every two days. Apparently, I kinda like shipping.
