Hm. Métis, like the group of people in Canada who are mixed Indigenous and European in ancestry?
I will admit I am unware of that portion of Cykes-sama's history, but It is certainly possible. She had lived north previously, and while I believe she has some Japanese ancestry, I.....do not actually know that as a fact. I do know she has lived in Canada, so it may indeed be the case.
If you have, in fact, just misspelled her name, then know it does not contain a written accent.
