Mick Schumacher x stroll reader
Nobody knew that you and Mick were engaged and that the two of you just had a baby together last month. So at your brother's home race you and Mick decided that it was now time to spill the beans.
“Are you ready my love?” Mick asked you as he opened the car door for you.
“I’m a little nervous,” you replied
“It’s normal to be a little nervous,” Mick said, closing the door and then he went to get your baby girl out of the car.
“Where’s my granddaughter?” Your dad Lawrence asked with Lance standing with him.
“She’s right here dad” you said smiling, handing your daughter over to him.
“Lance, can you help me grab the diaper bags?” Mick asked
“Yeah sure” Lance replied shrugging happy to help his brother in law
You felt a moment of pride as you watched Lance step up to help Mick grab the diaper bags despite the obvious tension between the two men just a few weeks ago.
Seeing your dad holding his granddaughter was the sweetest moment of all. The way his face lit up as he held her, the way he gently brushed a hand over her head, the way he smiled, all of it filled your heart with joy, and made you feel so loved. You knew at that moment that all your decisions had been the right ones.
“Are you ready for the race today?” Mick asked Lance.
Lance nodded. “As ready as I’ll ever be, that’s for sure,” he replied.
Mick put his arm around you and then he looked over at the crowd of fans that had gathered at the entrance to the paddock.
“Can you believe all these people here just to watch us go around in circles for a couple hours?” he said with a grin.
“I can’t,” you replied, laughing. “It’s kind of ridiculous.”
Mick smiled. “But the fans love it, so we’ll just have to make sure we put on a good show for them.”
You hung back with your dad while Mick and Lance walked ahead of you .
“Excuse me Miss.stroll could I take your picture?” Kym lLyman asked
“Oh course I don’t mind and it’s soon to be Mrs.schumacher” you said with a smile.
Kym Lyman snapped several pictures of you and your dad, and you politely smiled for the camera as Kym talked about the upcoming wedding.
“Will you wear a white wedding dress?” he asked.
You laughed. “I don’t want to give away too many details, but I can tell you it will be the most beautiful dress I’ve ever worn,” you said, keeping your response as vague as possible.
“I can get one more of you and your Father? Oh who might this little thing be?” Kym asked, smiling at your daughter.
“Oh silly me this is little Nadia mine and Micks daughter” you replied
“She’s adorable,” Kym said, smiling as he took a picture.
Mick turned around to see what the fuss was all about. He smiled when he saw you and your dad standing with Kym, and then he saw your daughter and Kym smiling at each other.
“Aw, look at her,” he said, reaching out to gently boop Nadia's nose who giggled.
“We really should be getting going,” you said.
Later that night when you and mick we’re getting ready for bed both of your phones started blowing up with notifications.
You and mick both looked at each other and then checked your messages.
All your notifications were about how cute your daughter was and how excited they are for you and mick who were going to get soon.
You and Mick smiled and laughed as you read through the notifications.
“They’re so right, our daughter is adorable,” Mick said with a grin.
“And look at all this excitement for us getting married,” you said, still laughing. “We really are becoming the hottest couple on the grid.”
“I think we already are,” Mick said with a grin. “But we’re just getting warmed up.”
He took your hand in his, looking into your eyes.
“I still can’t believe we’re really going to get married soon. It’s crazy to think about how far we’ve come in such a short time.”
You smiled, feeling your heart begin to race as he held your hand and looked into your eyes.
“It is crazy,” you agreed. “I honestly never thought I’d be in this position, but here we are. And I’m so happy that we found each other.”
Mick squeezed your hand. “Me too. I never imagined things would work out this way, but I’m glad they did. I couldn’t imagine my life without you now.”
