Me, after finishing the second season of Dark: thinking that now I can re-watch the first season more thoughtfully, focusing on a concept of time and free will, staying absolutely calm.
Also me, a half an hour into the first episode of S1: crying my eyes out after hearing Mikkel say "Ultimate fist bump", having zero chill about any on-screen interaction between family members, realising that Bartosz was able to steal Martha away by telling her that Jonas hooked up with French chicks 24/7 for the last two months, heartbroken over any detail that make those rare beautiful smiles dissapear from Jonas' face, unable to get over Michael's suicide, ending up being depressed.

Guys... I have found this masterpiece on YouTube today and I've never seen a better video on Dark Season 2. This is a “must watch” situation. The parallels, the quotes, the music, the editing - they're as close to perfection as it could get.
I do not own anything, just sharing a beautiful video created by littlesociopath with you all.
Is the boy on the right - Mikkel? So, regardless of the fact that Katharina might be pregnant, which is doubtful, Mikkel from the alternative world have never disappeared? Ooh... That’s why there is no Jonas in the alternative world, the world Claudia saw! It makes sense now! What if in order for Mikkel to stay, there are no tunnels in the cave, because Jonas has never existed in order to start building them. What if they do not have a time loop? Nevertheless, they should have a “Something”, cause they have an apparatus that travels between the worlds, and also probably in time too, because Martha2 was able to arrive to save Jonas by taking him to another world seconds before the Wormhole devours Winden...
hmm... I think I have made way too many assumptions from an appearance of a unknown person’s back on a photo.

Oh, wait a minute...I can't believe I've never thought about it before!
What if Michael actually named his child Jonas, because in Mikkel's subconsciousness Jonas was always a really cool and nice elder boy? And Mikkel wanted his son to grew up as someone similar to his cool childhood friend... Maybe Michael didn't remember Jonas properly, because of all the drugs Ines used to give him when he was a child. Yet still, Jonas represented something important for Mikkel, something good and pure, that even drugs couldn't erase it. And it was just enough for Michael to choose name Jonas for his son.
Guys, Michael literally named his son after his son. Let that sink in.

Imagine how it must have felt for Mikkel to slowly watch his son grow into that boy who was his cool older friend when he was a kid, the boy who took him into those caves and abandoned him in the past. And yet he never held it against Jonas.
Things that you probably shouldn't answer to the question: "What kind of a story Dark is?".
Actually, you know what? That's exactly what you should tell them.
It's a story of a bunch of teenagers who probably died of old age long before they were born.
It's a story of a mother who never abandoned her daughter, despite being gone for 33 years.
It's a story of a woman desperate to find her parents, who have been born more than a century apart from each other.
A story of a boy, who's son took him back in time to ensure his own existence. And a story of a man, who loved his son more than anything else in this world.
It's a story of a girl, who loved one boy so much that she ruined his life and traveled to a different time to be with him, just to realise that one only person she really cares for is herself.
It's a story of a man who found his brother and his son, both still kids, but 33 years after they went missing, yet failed to save them.
It's a story of a girl, who fell in love and lived a happy life with a guy who treathened a couple of teenagers with a gun when they first met.
It's a story of a man who desperately tried to make things right, but forgot to start the change for the better from himself.
And a story of girl who couldn't fall out of love after realising the dark truth, only to become a collateral damage and ensuring an existence of The Looped Time War between three versions of her lover.
