This was not scheduled XD But I wanted to draw something, so here are some cute MK interactions with the kids and a Wukong feeling a bit left out. Here is some context:
Dishi, at the sweet age of 5, wanted to be the same as MK and imitated him in almost everything, even the way he tied up his hair. Fun times until the kid decided to jump off the roof to see if he could fly... I'll just say he broke a few bones that day. Luckily, he is fine now.
DingBang grew up with a taste for jackets that began when, at the age of 4, MK wrapped him in his Monkey King jacket. He spent all day wearing the garment until he fell asleep, taking care not to soil it or step on it with his feet. MK got a nice photo of that moment, as you can see.
Hao is usually not as attached to MK as his other siblings, at least not like his younger brother Mao, but there are times when he shyly asks for some attention, and MK, like a loving father, gives it to him. Although it is sometimes difficult for MK to spread the same amount of attention among his five children, he does his best not to leave anyone out.
Mao didn't have an interaction with MK in this drawing, and maybe that's why his patience with Wukong isn't too much, sorry. He's usually not that bad, but when he feels left out or ignored, his mood becomes irritable, and sometimes his temper clashes with the first person he meets, and unfortunately, most of the time that person is Wukong. Ha ha ha...
BaoBao usually has her hair tied up most of the time in two buns, but when it's time to sleep, the curly mane on her head is released. So we could say that her beautiful hair was inherited from MK, although his is somewhat more curly.
I decided to be messy with this because otherwise, MK Dad AU posts will be sooo slow XP

I think Wukong has too much to deal with in this AU (MK, the later years, the kids, etc.) without also having to deal with repressed feelings.

What’s wukong and macaque’s relationship like in the dad au?
Similar to the series, with the only difference that now the balance tips in favor of Macaque, ¡since he did not disappear for 17 years!, Wukong is fighting very hard not to kick him in front of the children because, to his dismay, they respect him more than him.
One thing that Macaque keeps reminding him of every time the topic of children between the two of them comes up XD

MK feels bitter, while Wukong is confused and somewhat embarrassed.
The Monkey King is trying to recover his old friendship while trying to discover why he disappeared for so long, because even he himself does not understand how time slipped through his fingers.
So it's going to take a while to recover the same relationship they had before his disappearance.
What would the kids relation would look like if wukong was like the past when mk was younger, before he disappears
Well, it's not that Wukong has changed much after his long absence... it's that the environment he returned to changed too much, leaving him somewhat lost.
Also, while it's nice to think about what it would be like if Wukong had met the children without the stigma of being gone, I'm afraid it can only stop at that. An idea.
Part of why I partially removed Wukong from the AU is because, according to my logic, with his presence, MK would have followed the original path or the official plot of the series.
Therefore, if Wukong had not disappeared, there would be no children.
Do mk and wukong talks things out like in the special?
Yep.
There comes a moment where Wukong apologizes, and they talk heart-to-heart. MK is at peace with him from there.
Of course, this is before something causes the events of season 4 to begin. After all, I have to put some drama in this AU (ouo)
Would wukong comforts mk If he told him about his wife?
Well... maybe?
Although MK never married the children's mother.
Do wukong goes to therapy?
Normally, Wukong wouldn't even cross his mind, but he's considering it... and "considering" is that he's probably just talking to Sandy about what's happened to him since he came back.
Luckily for him, Sandy is practically some kind of therapist; does that count?
What the hell did wukong do for 17 years?!!
And where was him stayed that long?!!
That's what he wants to know!
Because part of this problem is that Wukong doesn't remember where he went or what he did. So his situation now is… somewhat complicated.
Luckily, he has all the time in the world to find out.
It's not like he forgot anything important.
Right?

Do dad mk and macaque grew more closer? And if yes does wukong feel jealous and maybe sad but also kinda feel like he deserves it if you know what i mean?
I would say yes.
Although well, their relationship is almost like the series and what is to come. Macaque was present at the most crucial moments in his life during these 17 years, so they are closer than at the beginning of their first interaction.
And yes, Wukong is jealous, or rather, feels replaced.
Ironic, isn't it?
As for whether Wukong feels like he deserves it. That remains to be seen.
Does wukong still felt guilt like in the show? If you know what I mean?
I would say yes.
Also, in this AU, we're adding more guilt... so yeah.
He still feels guilty.
Did wukong abandoned his house in flower fruit mountain?

Would wukong say sorry to macaque or mk in the dad au? Like maybe he meets him again or maybe when the kids are asleep he walks to him and has a breakdown saying sory many times to macaque or mk

As for Macaque… maybe… but we're not focusing on that at the moment.
