What if I made my Ghost Au but with Makoto dead an askblog. I think that would be fun.

Junko is a total red flag, of course. But that's not a problem for Makoto... After all, his favorite color is red.

Then, based on my ddlc's OTPs... Izuru/Nagito (Protagonist/Sayori), Yasuke/Mukuro or Yasuke/Mikan (Natsuki/Yuri) and Junko/Makoto (Monika/Player). Sounds funny.

Naejunko/Naeshima, but Makoto Naegi became the Ultimate Hope thanks to the Izuru Kamukura Project.

My first morning thought: is naejunko is sun/eclipse or sun/sun?🤔 Huh.

Probably, it's sun/eclipse has become sun/sun. The sun allowed the eclipse to open up and become brighter... Like itself.

Ironically, Ultimate Despair became the final push towards Ultimate Hope. The killing sun gave birth to the caring sun... Maybe, I'll collect my thoughts a little later.

Junko Enoshima is dead.

All the remaining survivors saw how she was crushed, how despair colored all nearby objects, how the gates to the outside world were open now. Everything is fine now, from small things it’s worth moving on to big things, from surviving a killing game to curing the whole world from despair. In the end, the main culprit has been eliminated, all that remains is to deal with her, despair, followers, right?

Makoto isn't sure about this.

The person who has become Ultimate Hope is not sure of Ultimate Despair's death.

He still feels her presence in his entire being and sees her silhouette walking behind him, like his own shadow.

Makoto Naegi will have to hold his face in front of his friends while a ghost coos in his ear. While he is busy capturing the Remnants of Despair, and then defending their right to a second chance in the form of rehabilitation, he receives caustic comments, with a bit of pleasure, addressed to him from his “companion”. She also keeps causing him trouble, trying to take his life so that luck will be on his side again.

And again, Junko loves to wrap herself around her living lover’s body and give him deathly cold kisses. This sends shivers down Makoto's body.

His fortitude is much stronger than it seems. That's definitely true. And it won't break him. For this, Junko loves and hates him at the same time, and this is mutual. And she will never leave him alone until the end of his life. Nothing will make her leave... Not even the peace that has come to this hopeless world.

In fact, hatred is a strong feeling, akin to such an emotion as despair. This news would obviously revive her, but it would also break her. Trigger, I guess.

Her loved one became a test subject for an inhumane project, this makes her feel despair... However, this person understood her and treated her humanely. But now her favorite person became omnipotent. Allowed himself (or maybe not?) to become Ultimate Everything... Ultimate Hope. Perhaps, his personality remains the same... Or some parts of him. But there is something.

But Junko would obviously be angry... And this would only fuel her desire to cause a Tragedy. Junko will want to make the world feel even more strongly what she feels...

Hope x Despair... Such a lovely dicthotomy. One cannot exist without the other; they are two sides of the same coin. But they appear in different images...
