Biblical and Extra-Biblical Prophecies About the Year of the Coming Messiah

By Author Eli of Kittim

“If you shall see kingdoms rising against each other in turn, then give heed and note the footsteps of the Messiah.” —Bereshit Rabbah XLII: 4

“Each of the world’s major religions contain Messianic prophecies. Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, the Zoroastrian religion and even the Native American religions all foretell the coming of a Promised One.” (Joel Smith).

Astoundingly, both the biblical and extra-biblical prophecies concerning the coming Messiah seem to converge in the 2010 decade: the Mayan (their twenty-six-thousand-year cycle ended in 2012), the Sikh (in which, according to Sakhee 15th, the avatar or god man is said to appear around the year 2015), Rabbi Yitzchak Kaduri’s prophecy (according to which the messiah will appear within a year of Ariel Sharon’s death—or 2015); Malachy’s prophecy of the 112 Popes (Pope Francis being the last, according to experts, who was inducted in 2013); Daniel’s Seventy-Weeks prophecy (in which Messiah is said to appear seventy years after the restoration of Israel: 1948+70=2018); Vilna Gaon’s prophecy (which predicts the Russian invasion of Crimea (2014) as a sign of the coming Messiah); Judah Ben Samuel’s prediction of the Messiah appearing by 2017); and the Four Blood Moons that fall on Jewish holy days (apocalyptic omens that culminate in 2015)!

Here are the links to explore some of these prophecies in more detail:

1) Vilna Gaon: The Russian invasion of Crimea (2014) is a sign of the coming Messiah https://seeker401.wordpress.com/2014/03/29/vilna-gaon-the-russian-invasion-of-crimea-is-a-sign-of-impending-redemption/

2) Judah Ben Samuel (Messiah will come by 2017). http://www.wnd.com/2012/11/12th-century-rabbi-predicted-israels-future/

3) Malachy’s prophecy (Ends in 2013) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uxw4S7xGXMg

4) RABBI YITZHAK KADURI: THE MESSIAH WILL APPEAR SHORTLY AFTER ARIEL SHARON'S DEATH (in other words, sometime around 2015) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lwN1QXDujp0

5) Four Blood Moons (End in 2015) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rrObwDtYBrg

To sum up, both the biblical and extra-biblical prophecies indicate that the latter half of the 2010 decade is of extreme importance to all the inhabitants of the earth because it is during this time that the Messiah will appear to elevate our consciousness and transform the world. There is overwhelming evidence that the 2010 decade is the Messianic decade, as we are told in one prophecy after another! Apparently, we are the messianic generation that the prophets of old longed to see. The signs are everywhere:

"But as for you, Daniel, conceal these words and seal up the book until the end of time; many will go back and forth, and knowledge will increase." Daniel 12:4

What Is Eyewitness Testimony In The New Testament And Who Are The Eyewitnesses?

What is “Eyewitness Testimony” in the New Testament and Who Are the “Eyewitnesses”?

By Author Eli Kittim

——-

It’s important to note that the gospels are later embellishments, not firsthand accounts, and their historicity and authorship are disputed. Thus, the purported author of John’s Gospel, who by the way is writing in refined Greek, couldn’t have been the alleged Aramaic disciple of Jesus not only because he wouldn’t be able to write in sophisticated Greek but also because he wouldn’t have been alive around 100 CE.

——-

So, what exactly does *Eyewitness testimony* mean in the New Testament (NT)?

——-

In the NT, the term “eyewitness” doesn’t necessarily mean witnessing physical-bodily phenomena. For example, Paul claims to be an •eyewitness• of Christ (1 Cor. 15:8), yet by his own self-confession his entire knowledge of Christ is based solely on revelations (Gal. 1.11-12; Acts 9.3-5). Scholars are in agreement that Paul never saw Jesus in the flesh.

——-

By comparison, it is explicitly stated in Luke’s gospel that the group of women at the tomb saw a “vision” (24.23–24), similar to that of the “witnesses” who were said to be “chosen beforehand” (προκεχειροτονημένοις) in Acts 10.40–41 (NASB). “Beforehand” means “in advance.” It implies a •foreknowledge• that is spiritually discerned prior to the experience of an event. In short: it represents a prophecy! But there is more.

——-

For example, in 2 Peter 1.16-19 the apostles are said to be “eyewitnesses” not of physical phenomena but rather of “the prophetic message.” Astoundingly, they’re eyewitnesses of visual and auditory messages (voices & visions) that were heard, literally, as voices, but were nevertheless part of a so-called “prophecy” or prediction:

“For we did not follow cleverly devised myths when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we had been •eyewitnesses• of his majesty. For he received honor and glory from God the Father when that voice was conveyed to him by the Majestic Glory, saying, ‘This is my Son, my Beloved, with whom I am well pleased.’ We ourselves •heard this voice• come from heaven, while we were with him on the holy mountain. So we have the •prophetic message• more fully confirmed” (emphasis added).

——-

Similarly, First Peter 1.10-11 suggests an •eschatological• soteriology (cf. Heb. 1.1-2; 9.26b; 1 Pet. 1.20), that is to say, “the sufferings of the Messiah and the glories that would follow” were actually “PREDICTED” in advance:

“Concerning this salvation, the prophets, who spoke of the grace that was to come to you, searched intently and with the greatest care, trying to find out the time and circumstances to which the Spirit of Christ in them was pointing when he •predicted• the sufferings of the Messiah and the glories that would follow” (NIV emphasis added).

First Peter 1.10-11 Suggests An Eschatological Soteriology

——-

So, when John’s Gospel introduces itself as the composition of a so-called •eyewitness• to the events of Jesus’ lifetime (“who saw” something; Jn 19.35), it may be talking about •history-written-in-advance•, similar to the Book of Revelation (cf. 4.1-2), which is explicitly referred to as a Book of *prophecy* (1.3; 22.7, 10, 18-19), a book that is also believed by Christian tradition to have been penned by the same apostle, “who saw” the end of days!

Hence both 2 Peter and the Book of Revelation are two very clear examples where “Eyewitness testimony” is explicitly related to *prophecy,* that is to say, *history written in advance*! Put differently, the gospel narratives are seemingly set in a transhistorical context. Transhistoricity, in other words, is the flip side of the notion that NT meanings are restricted to their historical context.

——-

Therefore, the so-called “eyewitnesses testimonies” are actually referring to •visions• pertaining to *prophetic* events. That’s why the account or “testimony” to Jesus is NOT historical but *prophetic*:

“For the testimony [to] Jesus is the spirit of prophecy”

—(Rev. 19.10d “The New Oxford Annotated Bible with Apocrypha: NRSV” [4th rev. edn; New York: Oxford University, 2010], p. 2176, n.e.).

If Jesus is a historical figure, who supposedly existed prior to the composition of the Book of Revelation, shouldn’t his “testimony” be the Spirit of history? And yet, by contrast, his “testimony” is explicitly referred to as “the spirit of prophecy.” Something to think about.

——-

The argument that Jesus has not yet come is based on both the internal and external evidence

——-

The *external evidence* demonstrates that there are no firsthand accounts (the gospel writers are not eyewitnesses). There are also no independent secular accounts of Jesus until the close of the first century CE. Josephus’ “Testimonium Flavianum,” toward the turn of the century, is considered as unacceptable evidence by most scholars due to extensive interpolations. Even Tacitus’ later account represents an obvious interpolation. So, despite Jesus’ so-called extraordinary feats, no one is writing anything about him outside of the NT for approximately 65y. Not a single word is written about Jesus, there’s not even a passive reference to him, even though we have a lot of documents from that period dealing with just about every aspect of life, political and otherwise.

——-

The *internal evidence* is equally strong. Besides the *end-time* •messianic death-and-resurrection• themes that are clearly addressed in the Old Testament (e.g., Isa. 2.2, 19; Dan. 12.1-2; Zeph. 1.7, 14-18; and Zech. 12.10), there are many such motifs also found in the NT!

——-

The evidence from the NT is sometimes rather explicit and quite compelling. For example, Hebrews 1.2 clearly states that God speaks to humanity through his Son in the “last days” (ἐπ ἐσχάτου τῶν ἡμερῶν). Notice that the *last days* represent an eschatological time-period that is obviously distinguished from “Long ago,” in other words, it is differentiated from the time of Antiquity in verse 1. But, even more explicit is the verse from Heb. 9.26b:

“once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself” (KJV).

Hebrews 9:26 Otherwise, Christ would have had to suffer repeatedly since the foundation of the world. But now He has appeared once for all a

Proper Biblical Exegesis demands that we understand NT Greek. The Greek phrase reads as follows:

ἅπαξ ἐπὶ συντελείᾳ τῶν αἰώνων εἰς ἀθέτησιν ἁμαρτίας διὰ τῆς θυσίας αὐτοῦ πεφανέρωται (Heb. 9.26b SBLGNT).

The term ἅπαξ (hapax) means “once for all.” The Greek phrase ἐπὶ συντελείᾳ τῶν αἰώνων (i.e., “at the end of the age”) is a reference to “the end of the world” (KJV) or “the consummation of the ages” (NASB cf. Dan. 12.4 LXX). Whenever this Greek phrase appears in the NT it is invariably referring to “the end of the world” (cf. Mt. 13.39-40, 49; 24.3; 28.20, etc.).

There are also parallel verses and verbal agreements in which the overall linguistic meaning of this phrase is confirmed by the Patristic Fathers of that period: τόν . . . υιόν . . . ερχόμενον ἐπὶ συντελείᾳ του αἰωνος κρίναι ζώντας καί νεκρούς (G.W.H. Lampe [ed.], “A Patristic Greek Lexicon” [Oxford: Oxford University, 1961], p. 1340).

——-

Therefore, the eschatological phrase συντελείας του αιωνος (which is usually translated as “the end of the age”) can ONLY refer to the END OF THE WORLD! And Hebrews 9.26b tells us unequivocally and categorically that this is ALSO the TIME when Christ DIES for the SINS (εἰς ἀθέτησιν ἁμαρτίας) of the world. The meaning is quite obvious. But that’s not all. There are many, many other NT passages that CONFIRM this view.

——-

First Peter 1.20 is a case in point:

“He was marked out before the world was made, and was revealed at the final point of time” (NJB).

It is quite explicit. Once again, “the final point of time” (επ´ έσχάτου των χρόνων) refers to the culmination or consummation of the ages. And this is the time period when Christ will be initially “revealed,” according to 1 Peter 1.20 (cf. Lk 17.30; 1 Cor. 1.7; 1 Jn 2.28). Then there are other passages that I can’t get into right now due to time restrictions, such as Rev. 12.5, where Christ is born in the end-times as a contemporary of the final world-empire which is depicted as a red dragon with 7 heads and 10 horns. Rev. 6.2 equally shows that the first horseman that will appear in the end times is Christ! To understand why the white horse of Rev. 6.2 represents Christ, please look at the following link from my blog:

WHO IS THE FIRST HORSEMAN OF THE APOCALYPSE?
Eli of Kittim
By Eli of Kittim THERE ARE NO COUNTERFEIT SIGNS IN THE BIBLE There are no counterfeit signs found anywhere in the Bible. So why should

——-

I could cite many more examples, but I think you get the idea . . .

——-

Incidentally, the notion that Jesus will appear “once and for all” (hapax; Heb. 9.26b) in the end-times does not change anything whatsoever soteriologically speaking. In other words, it’s not a salvation issue because, according to the NT, we are saved IN FAITH as we “eagerly await a Savior” (Phil. 3.20 NIV) “for a salvation that is ready to be revealed at the end of time (1 Pet. 1.5 GW).

——-

Conclusion

This unique Biblical exegesis doesn’t change our Soteriology. But it does change our Theology. So, for example, those who think that Jesus already died will be shocked to see him coming not from the sky but from the earth. And “his own” (i.e. the Christians; cf. Jn 1.11) will eventually reject him as the so-called “Antichrist.” Christian Bible-Prophecy experts have already paved the way for rejecting the Christ through faulty and preconceived interpretations of Revelation 6.2. Even though this is clearly Christ, as I’ve demonstrated in the aforesaid essay, nevertheless the mainstream view holds that the first horseman who rides a white horse is the Antichrist . . .

So, unless you understand what’s going on, you will be very confused during the unfolding of these events in the End time!

Nostradamus And The Bible Seemingly Predict The Coming Of Putin

Nostradamus and the Bible Seemingly Predict the Coming of Putin

By Author Eli Kittim

For those of us who are skeptical of prophets and prophecies, this brief article contains certain extra-biblical predictions that are far too similar to those of the Bible to be dismissed as mere coincidences. So, let’s begin.

The Bible seems to point to Russia as the birthplace of the last-days Antichrist (see Ezekiel 38). In order to understand the historical reasons for tying the Ezekiel narrative to Russia, see The Magog Identity article by Chuck Missler: https://www.khouse.org/articles/2002/427/print/

khouse.org
Chuck Missler reviews the historical roots of the modern day Russians and the peoples to which Ezekiel referred when he prophesied about tha

During the early part of the 20th century (1917) Russia became the world's first constitutionally communist state on the face of the earth. Similar to the “red dragon” in the Book of Revelation, it’s fiery red flag became the symbol of its power (cf. the red horse of Rev. 6.3-4). Five years later it incorporated other territories and became the Soviet Union. It was the rise of a new superpower on earth whose famous symbol, the sickle, is peculiarly associated with the “harvest” of the end-times in the Bible (see Joel 3.13; Rev. 14.14-19)!

The famous French 16th-century seer named Nostradamus offers us some interesting prophecies that parallel those of the Bible. For example, when we look at the third seal in the Book of Revelation, we are told that there’s “a black horse; and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand” (Rev. 6.5). Scales are instruments for weighing things. Curiously enough, Nostradamus offers us a sign, similar to the “scales” of Revelation, through the use of a cryptic aphorism: “the Dragon’s head in Libra” (Epistle to Henry II). What is of interest is that the symbol of Libra is also depicted as a *scale*, thus tying this astrological sign in the Zodiac to the “scales” in the Book of Revelation! Moreover, the symbol of the “great red dragon having seven heads and ten horns” (Rev. 12.3) can also lend itself to an astrological interpretation that seems to demystify the identity of the little horn (i.e. “the Antichrist”; cf. Dan. 7.8, 11, 20; 8.9)! So, on another level of interpretation, the 7 heads and 10 horns could signify the 7th day of the 10th month. Astoundingly, that happens to be the birthday of Russia’s sitting president, Vladimir Putin (i.e. 7 October), thus indicating that his astrological sign is indeed *Libra.* But there’s more. Elsewhere, Nostradamus says:

“Peace and semblance the spy will simulate” (Century 9, Quatrain 88).

Astoundingly, Putin was a KGB spy for 16 years, who rose to the rank of Lieutenant *Colonel.* In another Quatrain, Nostradamus writes:

“A colonel with ambition plots,

He will seize the greatest army”

(Century 4, Quatrain 62).

Similarly, Daniel 8.23 calls the Antichrist “a master of intrigue,” while Daniel 8.25 refers to him as “a master of deception,” obviously implying that he’s trained in secret plans, underhand plots and schemes. In short, a spy! And in a parallel passage with the Bible, Nostradamus writes:

“The year 1999 [666?], seventh month,

From the sky will come a great king of terror”

(Century 10, Quatrain 72).

Astonishingly, Putin came to power at the turn of the century, in 1999 (666), which marks the end of a thousand-year period. This important timeframe coincides with a Biblical prophecy in which the Antichrist will not appear “until the thousand years . . . [have] ended” (Rev. 20.3, 7-8)! Daniel 11.21 suggests that he’s originally appointed, not elected, and that he starts off with a small following (cf. v. 23):

“In his place a despicable person will arise, on whom the honor of kingship has not been conferred, but he will come in a time of tranquility and seize the kingdom by intrigue.”

Putin fits that description perfectly since he was initially appointed by Boris Yeltsin, not elected, and was virtually unknown. With a small following, he came “in a time of peace” and appeared to “seize the kingdom by intrigue.”

To summarize, all these parallel Biblical and extra-Biblical passages point to one particular person who is today probably the most powerful man in the world, if not the richest. He was actually born on October 7th (7 heads, 10 horns [Rev. 12.3]), his astrological sign is Libra (the “scales” of Revelation), and he is “a master of deception,” given that he was a former intelligence officer (spy) and a colonel, who appeared on the world stage in 1999—-appointed, not elected——precisely as foretold, namely, the notorious autocrat and incumbent Russian President, Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin! In fact, the year that he came to power (1999) may be a cryptic reference to the number of the beast, namely 666! Now that’s extraordinary, given that the prophetic clues from the various spiritual traditions all point to him, and him alone! Coincidence? I’m afraid not!

The books of Daniel (chs. 2 & 7) and Revelation (ch. 17) also suggest a revived Roman Empire (Russia), described as 10 toes (kings) that seemingly arise out of the eastern leg (of iron) of the Roman Empire (Byzantium). In retrospect, that would be Moscow (Russia), which was called the Third Rome: see https://www.instagram.com/p/BYr5b5HgBq1/?igshid=av5bf5ov58f

If you check out the Soviet leaders up to the present time, they are 10, with Putin being the 11th, just as the Bible predicted (see https://www.instagram.com/p/BqRDTWHgOIQ/?igshid=81zdol99mymn)!

And Russia is currently at war with the west, making nuclear threats, supporting and defending Syria & Iran militarily, controlling the Middle East, building Iran’s nuclear plants, and is allied with many Muslim nations, while forming a strong partnership with China and North Korea!

Most Bible prophecy experts agree that Ezekiel 38 is talking about an end-times global conflict that will be instigated by Russia! In fact, Ezekiel 38.2 calls the Antichrist “the Prince of Rosh,” which the Septuagint renders as ἄρχοντα Ῥώς, or Prince of Ῥώς (i.e. Rus' = Greek: Ῥῶς), a contraction of the term Ρωσία, the Greek name for Russia! Moreover, Revelation 13 and 18 point to a one-world government that may come at the heels of a global economic collapse, which in turn may be triggered by a long-drawn-out world war!

Conclusion

It is rather extraordinary that all the prophetic signs from both Nostradamus and the Bible match perfectly with the historical facts pertaining to Vladimir Putin and Russia (see https://www.instagram.com/p/BYvP6n9gQ2N/?igshid=15h3s9824t8fl)!

Therefore, the next major event in the prophetic timetable seems to be a global conflict that will be spearheaded by Russia!

Self-fulilling prophecies are one of my favorite kind of prophecies.

The person(s) that hear the prophecy do everything in their power to prevent the prophecy from coming to pass but instead bring it to fruition through their actions or inactions.

Various leaders of the Jedi Council (the highest religious authority!)  very much believe that Anakin is their prophesied savior but they harbor such an intense personal dislike for a nine year old that they just kind of shrug it off and quietly disregard that part of their doctrine. Like, WHAT
