Can't wait for something like #wipednesday am too excited because I have a bunch of ramble in my mind, but I have this Pokémon OC region project containing of multiple regions that were artificially made and have their own regional variants instead of unique Pokémon species (these would in the distant future become their own distinct species tho) so here are my sketches for Poison type Skitty and Poison/Fairy type Delcatty based on Wolfsbane/Monkshood more leaning to the lore of being used in medicine, meanwhile the split evos Wolcatty and Lykatoi are gonna be based of the werewolf aspect (and Lykoi cats!)

Now for their sort of lore/rough Dex entries:

These were found in the Region VII, where the prevalence of Grass/Poison Pokémon caused the soil to grow these Poisonous plants. To escape their enemy Seviper, Skitty evolved in a way to deter Seviper, by bathing in the flowers, which caused the poison typing.

Delcatty who shown hospitality to those poisoned evolved the Fairy typing and a generally caring, but still avoidant personality. They use the flower on their tails to lure away enemy Pokémon and then force them to a chase where the chaser will be left with nothing.

@xxunovianxx on Discord inspired me to doodle this when she mentioned the idea of a literal fire ant.

I imagined it's a regional variant of Durant that evolved resistances against Heatmor by becoming part Fire-type itself. Unfortunately this leaves it with a 4x weakness to Rock but shhhhh

Made the sketch for this last year, but I thought it was about time that I shared my regional variant of Swampert that I made for my fan region Orejo (which is based off of Oregon and the Pacific Northwest) which also doubles as my pokesona (name has not been made yet)

I know I'm not usually the biggest pokemon if you talk about the anime, but I just will always have a soft spot for these weird lil creatures that live in balls!

Why Link cant have cool things

Here's a draft for a project of mine

"So let me see if I understand ya" The red headed blacksmith growled. Link cringed, something deep within him recognized that tone. It was a VERY BAD TONE. "For the last six weeks give or take, you've been travlin 'round Hyrule, rightin' wrongs an all that crap. In that ENTIRE time, ya' barely had weapon last halfa DAY!?" Link flinched at that. Sure, most of the weapons he used broke, but he was a scavenger. He was more than capable of finding suitable replacements. Morpeko sensed his discomfort, because she squeaked her displeasure to the smith while trying to force a seed down Link's mouth. The Blacksmith raised an eyebrow at the little mon but seemed to get the message. He took a calming breath and started again "Alright, so maybe ya can just find whateva ya need if somethin' breaks, but wouldn't it be easier if ya didn't hafta?" The (not yet fully realized) Hero of Wilds felt his mind stall. Not having to look for weapons? That sounded.. how did that sound? Link tried to think of any disadvantage to being able to keep a weapon. He found none. He tried to find any advantage to keeping a weapon long term. He found MANY. "Alright then let's go!" The blacksmith had grabbed Link by the arm a was dragging him along. "Wait a moment dear sir, I must request you release me post haste!" Link protested. The smith (had he ever given up his name? Link did not believe so.) turned to look at him. "Ya know, goin' by tha way ya speak, I'd assume you were a Hylian*. That sorta makes the poor weapon maintenance worse ya know?" The tone had retuned. Link decided it'd be best to just go along with it for now. "Raboot, Armarouge, let us follow the smithy for the moment." His two comrades looked at each other, shrugged then followed. On his shoulder, Morpeko rubbed her cheek against his, sending a calming jolt of static across his face.

Italian descole but fave moments

Pyritized OMANYTE//OMASTAR & Pyritized KABUTO//KABUTOPS

A Pyritized fossil is one where during the formation of said fossil it becomes iron pyrite, a mineral know as "fool's gold" due to its golden shine. This process is common in fossils from the Paleozoic era like Ammonites and Trilobites

This versions of OMANYTE and KABUTO are revived from such pyritized fossils, this not only changes their color, giving them both a golden shell, but also changes their type, now being Water/Steel type

Have a gimmicky halloween form. XD

Alcreamie's body has become a sticky caramel to trap foes that attack it. Its hollow apple armor is hard as stone. Its defenses are higher but is much slower in movement.

Last of the 3 Kanto starters. You can find them in the cave around Dewford Town honing their fighting abilities by watching Brawly training. They're based on leatherback sea turtles by not having a bony shell and,yes,teenage mutant ninja turtles even though I haven't watched one of their movies or shows in years! XD I even had to look up what weapons they used so I used Donatello's staff for Blastoise.

Next Kanto 'mon is the Rattata line. They're based on the Bushy-tailed woodrat which also gave me the idea that Kalosian Rattata & Raticate wear them around their necks like boas. Here, though Raticate's just flaunting it near a runway XD Overall the main thing i'm happy about this was the fur detail and designing the runway. The other image is the woodrat.

Next regional form is the Voltorb line based on Moon & Dusk balls. The Voltorb & Electrode in the Johto region are nocturnal. They are more aggressive and blow up if anyone steps into their territory. Next form is Hitmonlee and although it doesn't look too different from its original form,its legs can inflate to act as a sort of a life vest for swimming and can shoot jets of water from its hells to help it swim at fast speed. Next form is the Lickitung line. It's based on the Gila Monster. I also made up a name for a fanmade USA region called Unidun region (Might change name. Based on Unity + Dunes ) which I'll work more on later along with fakemon. So you might see this name on future forms as well. The Lickitung and Lickilicky in Unidune grew in harsh deserts along with rough pokemon. They developed a bacteria in their tongues and mouth that can be deadly to pokemon and trainers but is being studied to use in medicine.

I was asked to so Tyranitar a while ago so I'll be doing the evolution line.

My entry to The Aussie Artist's 30K followers contest over on instagram, to create a Convergent or Regional form changing the pokemon types according to this format

I choose to change the TYRANITAR's line Rock type for Bug

Changing TYRANITAR's line from Rock to Bug was kind of an obvious choice since both LARVITAR and PUPITAR already had "Larvae" and "Pupa" in their names, the only challenge was to turn TYRANITAR itself into a bug

LARVITAR (Bug/Ground) is based on a Thorn Bug, I choose this due to their similar looking bodies and colors,

PUPITAR (Bug/Ground) is not really based in any particular cocoon or pupa, even tho there are several species with spiky cocoons out there

KATYRANITAR (Bug/Dark) s the regional evolution of this line, it is based on the Armored Katydid or Armored Bush Cricket, a type of giant predator katydid from Africa. This bug fitted TYRANITAR perfectly as it is the "armor pokemon".

KATYRANITAR legs are actually really long but remain folded most of the time. Due to its large size, hoping would be too hard, so they only use them in very specific situations, like pouncing over a prey from a long distance, or getting away quickly from a fight with a larger member of their species, as they are cannibals.
