So, I’ve been in a rarry mood, these past few days…

yea yea i know harry and ginny are canon shut up

like i KNOW they like resemble james and lily okay i KNOW

but god can we please talk about harry and RON

it’s cliche to fall for your best friend but nobody in thrid world can convince me they were not head over heals for each other

imagining ron taking one look at harry and being like “yea i guess i’ll be by his side forever”

and harry never understanding what unconditional love really was but looking at ron and thinking how there’s nobody else he’d wnat by his side till the end

and it just WORKS?? they don’t even know they’re in love they just know that there is nobody in the world they prefer to be with??

like everyone’s talking about girls and futures and harry and ron are like “yea i mean they’re pretty and all but...okay”

let’s not talk about how ron stood on his obviously broken leg to protect harry from sirius,,,,let’s not i’ll cry

and i imagine ron comforts harry during his nightmares?? and ron is a heavy sleeper but i bet he is so keen to harry that he ales up everytime harry makes a noise just to make sure he’s okay

and i reckon ron is big on physical touch and harry just. never had that, but is so comfortable with ron that he leans into his side and hold his hand and gives him like 2 minute hugs and it’s ONLY ron

and harry talks about ron all the TIME, especially to sirius. “and ron is trying out for the quidditch team and he looks so cool in so proud of him. you should see him on a broom and-“

“pup, back to telling us about the dream you had?”

“oh right”

and harry can’t imagine doing anything without ron?? “sorry ron’s busy” , “harry i asked YOU” , “yea but ron’s busy.”

and ron shares his FOOD with harry and he normally doesn’t but he just does, always. with harry. hell slide extra pieces of toast and bacon, and give him the rest of his drink

and some nights they just stare up at the stars, they dotn even have to talk, the just find such comfort in each other

and ron was harry’s PERSON for the triwizard thing does that not scream “i love him”

and then they get older and remus talks about marriage and molly insists on the boys finding girlfriends and ron and harry just...so not feel it

they have each other, what else do they need?

and hermione gets a boyfriend and the hold hands and everyone freaks out and harry is like “me and ron do that all the time??”

and ron being so confused when bill talks about how fluer makes him feel because “yea i feel like i’m at home with harry too what’s the big deal”

and it’s so funny it takes them FOREVER to realize they’ve basically been dating

i mean after hogwarts they get a flat together and they fall into such a nice routine, ron makes them coffee in the morning, harry goes to work before him, they don’t see each other much during the day but they always, always, have dinner together

and it’s so easy, them just living

and it’s the little rings, ron ruffles harry’s hair everytime he sees fit, harry has taken to hugging ron much more than he used to, and the argue like an s married couple but they know each other better than anyone else

harry knows ron hates people touching his left hand because of an injury he never likes to talk about

ron knows harry puts his left shoe on before his right and if anyone talks to him while he’s tying them he has to start over

and harry knows ron doesn’t eat chocolate cake anymore and kindly switches it with his piece of plain vanilla when they are at teddy’s party

and they just scream “hey we’re in love !!!”

and then hermione is getting married and ginny is moving in with luna and everything has moved so fast as molly and sirius are “well boys, do you have anyone?”

and they have each other, why can’t people understand that?

because ron can’t imagine seeing anyone else’s face as soon as he wakes up

because harry can’t imagine ever feeling comfortable enough to sit in silence with anyone else

and they both could never see anyone else being at their side

buy they still didn’t know they were in love

but that’s fine because on the night of hermione’s wedding they get super drunk and realize that they’ve never kissed and “why haven’t we kissed haz?” and so they do

and then, finally, finally, they realize maybe they had been in love they just didn’t know it

and nothing changes because for all they know they’ve basically been dating anyways and now they just get to kiss and sleep in the same bed without people asking

and so yes i fully believe harry and ron are in love they ARE goddamit

why didn't harry and ron ever swap clothes? Like Harry's clothes were too big, Ron's were too small, if they swapped it'd have fit each other perfectly

Why be angry and sulk in a corner when you can grab your best friend and fake-tango (and crash into other dancing couples more or less on purpose, lol) Someone asked for Ron in Yule robes and I more or less tried to deliver it, with another silly Ron/Harry idea of mine :P
