Tusu poro Onuman=kor, korkay nokaha tusu=menoko Onuman keme=an okay.  Nankatukur=ani anakne Sumin kun=ne, wa tan okkay poronno kor=enoka. Tan nankatukur rayosi {Cassir-kur} ne.

(Twilight has great magic, even so pictures of shamaness Twilight are rare. The artist's name is Sumin, and this [young] man draws a lot. This artist is Korean.) For all her magical prowess, Twilight or her family members as shamans or shamanesses are surprisingly hard to find, and he's pulling this off quite well.

It is Saturday, which means that I have nothing to do again. 👍

Here's a bit of a sprite dump, where I animate static sprites that other people have made:

(Some of these are really old, btw, so the quality might vary)

This character I created in 1993. Back then was a mish-mash of characters I admired from diverse medias. Galford (Samurai Shodown), Etienne Navarre (Ladyhawke) and Hiro (Lunar Eternal Blue). I couldn't find the first sketch to take a picture, it must've been lost among tons of paper I have scattered around. But I got some pictures from art derived of different periods of my life. Showing not only the evolution of my art, but the evolution of the character as well. The graph paper sketch was done before I got a computer. You might see the direction I was heading even back then. That also reminded me how fascinated I was by the sword of Kurgan (Highlander). I dropped the spike as time went on.

That brings me to today.

After hitting some hard walls in my life, I started to learn animation. First I tried 3D. l didn't get very far. 3D was harder to animate and all the process takes too long. I got back to my roots as an digital artist and decided to do some pixel art. I am putting a lot of focus in revisiting old ideas and characters, and approaching it from a game design perspective. Hopefully all those assets will be part of my first game one day. If not at least part of my digital art portfolio. Too early to tell now, but what matters is that I'm enjoying it a lot.
