They're also censoring people who use these tags on X. Sudanese creators and activists who are talking about their experiences -and often not able to share extensive details about their sufferings because if they do, they could be killed for sharing information. Saying 'genocide' is getting their posts flagged and accounts banned too. We need to be talking about this too.

My family and I were displaced to the south. After 188 days of exhaustion, constant fear, and losing everything we owned, we were displaced to Egypt and paid a large sum, but some of my family and all our loved ones are still suffering in Gaza💔. We don't have residency here, so that's what makes it complicated. I also set a goal of 6,000, which is a short-term goal

⭕️URGENT UPDATE: My family's Visa has been denied and now trapped in Addis
Dear supporters and donors, I am writing this again with a heavy heart, the first time we started this fundraiser and with your generous support only, we have managed to collect the amount that was needed to cover the cost of my family traveling.
On the 11th of May my family has arrived at Kigali airport, as their journey started from Gonder (the Ethiopian border city with Sudan) then to Addis to finally reach Kigali, Rwanda. but the visa was rejected. According to the migration officers, the amount of 3000 USD that we collected already isn’t enough for Living costs for a Sudanese family.As a result they were sent back to Addis. Now we are dealing with the unexpected cost of living in Addis, waiting to find a solution to fulfill the visa requirements.
