Sometimes it's Stan who sacrifices his peace and quiet for the sake of a thrilling adventure that anomaly hunting is
And sometimes it's Ford who has to tone down his everlasting sense of wonder to take a break and slow down
Sometimes a sacrifice brings balance into a life instead of taking something from it

I don't think Ford sees the appeal of the Hawaiian shirts the same way Stan does...
But they're gonna have a nice vacation anyway!

Good god, I have been working on this for a while. What originally started out as small storyboard pro practice, ended up becoming an actual project. There was a good amount of time when I wasn’t sure I would finish it, but here it is. I hope you enjoy it!

4 Aus that I thought about last minute- 1. Actor Au (everyone is an actors and actresses for a show called "gravity falls" chaos ensues)
2. Reaction Au (students and teachers plus the twins parents and the extended Pines family react to dipper and mabels summer adventures, chaos, fluff and angst ensues in the spam of 5 episodes) 3. Mafia (??) Au (Everyone in gravity falls is like an association, similar to that of a mafia, dealing with supernatural and the government, retired for 3 years before the twins came. Chaos ensues) 4. Wonderland Au (where the twins- either the mystery twins or the stan twins or both- stumbled upon a rabbit hole, insanity ensues)
Stan watching over Ford as he recovers from Weirdmageddon?
I remember reading your fanfic where ford has problems with his heart since he was electrocuted a lot during weirdmageddon and he had to go to the hospital so this is inspired by that! Also, I’m all for the headcanon that ford uses crutches after weirdmageddon (they get better suited ones for ford after they get out of the hospital)
My favorite thing to draw is them holding each other’s shoulders and I don’t even know why—

I like to imagine that after spending some time on the Stan’o’War, the Stans’ weight changes. Neither of them really notice, but the twins notice next time they seem them. Stanley finally started taking care of himself properly, something he hadn’t ever really done even while the kids were with him, and Ford no longer has to live off of scavenged or stolen food, so he starts being able to eat more freely. Ford gains weight and Stan loses weight, and are around with same weight because they eat pretty much the same stuff. However, Ford is a little bit heavier because he eats more sweets and junk food that he didn’t have access to whirl dimension hopping.
