lucas watches bitterly from across the room as you speak to mingyu, smiling at him, laughing along with him— leaning close to him when he says something funny, just friendly interaction. he reminds himself just friends being friendly. lucas knows he shouldn’t be jealous, he’s your boyfriend. he’s the one that gets to call you mine, he’s the one that get to kiss you and make love to you, you’re his and he’s yours— and yet the green ugly monster of jealously takes over him every time he sees a man within an arms length of you. he doesn’t know why he gets so upset and worked up about you being friends with guy, he doesn’t own you, he knows that yet he’s always gets like this.
“xuxi are you listening?” xiaojun snaps his fingers in front of the latters face, lucas turns his head to look at his friends who’s attention were all turned to him.
“yeah, i am whats up?” he shakes his head at his friends, not understanding if anything went wrong
“you’re gripping your beer bottle like you’re gonna break it. are you alright?” kun lays a hand on his shoulder, always making sure his friends are alright— as the mother of the group it’s somewhat expected that he’s concerned
“guess i just spaced out a little, i’m alright kun-ge don’t worry.” he smiles at his elder, to reassure him. kun smiles back nodding his head before turning away to chat with xiaojun and yongqin
“you’re jealous aren’t you?” lucas snaps his head to his right to be greeted by the side profile of sicheng “’m not.” the younger grumbles adjusting his posture in his seat “okay don’t tell me then but if someone was talking to my girlfriend for that long i would be jealous.” sicheng explains simply, lucas squints his eyes at sicheng, was he that east to read? lucas doesn’t want to ruin your fun, he doesn’t want to come off as clingy if he tried to interfere but the older chinese was right, he hasn’t been keeping time but you were talking for quite sometime.
he sighs, he missed your presence, he missed your curves, your flowery scent— you know what maybe he’s being clingy, but can he help it? no, especially when his girlfriend is the most gorgeous person he knows. he absolutely adored you and tells you all the time. he moves his eyes from sicheng back to where you and mingyu were talking, but you’re no where to be seen— in a panic lucas sits up in his seat, his back leaving the structure of the chair to get a better view of the crowd. what if mingyu took you somewhere? what if he tried something and you liked it? what if— his thoughts are interrupted by the hand on his shoulder.
“who are you looking for?” lucas turns his had at the very familiar voice to see you in all your glory, the black dress you decided to wear to tonight looked stunning on you and hugged your curves perfectly, lucas is surprised he kept his hands off you for his long. “you. who else?” he replies, pulling you onto his thigh. you wrap an arm around his shoulders and his hands lay comfortably on your thigh and waist “i missed you.” he whines pulling you closer on his lap, resting his head in the crook of you neck. “i wasn’t gone for long.” you reply your unoccupied hand going to caress the side of his face “well for me it was a long time.” he mumbles digging his face further into you neck, making you laugh from the ticklish feeling.
“what were you and mingyu talking about?” his voice is muffled but you hear him due to the close proximity of his face to your ear. “he was telling me about his god awful tinder date he had two days ago.” you chuckle, lucas can feel the vibrations of you laugh resonating against his cheek and ear making him sigh contently as he wraps his arms tighter around you. “you know i saw you staring at us while we were talking.” you muttered. lucas stiffens— there are times where he rarely gets caught by you for being jealous, because he would get jealous often he became good at hiding it.
you immediately sense his rigidness and is quick to reassure “you have nothing to worry about my love” you take his face into your hands, his big doe eyes staring into yours “i’m yours, that’s all that matters.” you assure pressing a tender kiss to his lips, lucas sighs in content as you lips touch, finding immediate comfort in the confinement. he pulls away first, pressing your foreheads together “i’m sorry i get this way baby—“ “you have nothing to worry about xuxi, it’s natural feel that way about someone you love.” you cut him off from collecting any negative thoughts. he nods in response giving you the smile you know and love “now, let’s go dance!” you stand to your feet and drag your lover onto the dance floor, ready to have a good time and dance the night away.

despite his fear of confronting crazy fans/anti-fans, he would not hesitate to publicly shame your attacker at every chance he gets.
when he first saw all the blood, he was panicked. When he saw that the attacker had punched you in the nose, he became very mad.
if he finds out it was because of him that the anti-fan attacked you, he would be very apologetic and upset with himself. He would never forgive himself if you got hurt because of him.
