some thoughts/headcanons i had while drawing this:

since snuffy treats football as a job, i thought it would be in character (and very cute) if he gave his players mandatory rest days

these rest days aren't only when they dyed barou's hair but also when they have sleepovers n hang out!!

sleepover nights are arranged by aryu and sendou-- aryu does the decorating while sendou gets the snacks, chooses the movies, etc.

niko and aryu are watching puella magi madoka magica on niko's laptop. so far, mami is aryu's fav

niko's laptop has a sayaka miki sticker and a very off brand banana fish sticker that someone got him

sendou is always the first to fall asleep and every time the other members stuff a pillow under his head & throw a blanket on him. he's a heavy sleeper so once he's out, he's OUT

the plushies niko and aryu are holding belong to sendou

aiku looks like he's texting a girl & everyone assumes so but rly he's just watching baby animal tiktoks (usually baby chicks). sometimes niko gets nosy to see what he's doing and every time he gets whiplash

aryu painted everyone's nails black !!! though he made his own nails look a lil fancier because its ~osha~

barou is invited to everyone of these sleepovers but he rarely comes willingly, aiku and lorenzo usually drag him into this mess

in the drawing, barou's returning from a quick bathroom break or smth and while he was gone, lorenzo took his chances and brought out the popcorn

lorenzo is a messy eater so popcorn crumbs r everywhere..... barou hates it sooooooooooo much

HOWEVER in the drawing the popcorn mess isnt entirely from messy eating!! the real reason is lorenzo got bored and started bouncing popcorn off of sendou's forehead (his ass is NAWT waking up)

after having enough sleepovers, everyone kinda has their own spots & usually when barou is there, he's between aiku and niko-- he's cool being around them bc they usually just keep to their phones/laptops

^^ this doesnt stop lorenzo from throwing popcorn at him tho LMFAO and that's when aiku becomes not only the final wall for blue lock but the only wall between barou (becoming a murderer) and don "ace eater" lorenzo

"The game has only started, now now" he formed a rather calm, cocky smirk, his reassuring touch is enough for him to actually calm down

I was originally going with Nanase, but I figured Sendou will offer a more fun sibling dynamic

We all know how he likes to brag about himself, flaunting off his achievements whenever he can. I mean, he WAS Japan’s U20 ace

What you don’t know is that he boasts about you whenever you’re not around

“My elder sibling” this “My elder sibling” that

He knows you are good-looking, it runs in the family after all, so he’s not all that surprised when he hears others praising your looks

Though, if someone ever tries to flirt with you…

Oh boy

He gets all judgemental, thinking AND telling that said person is not good enough for you

Especially towards Oliver “why have 5 babes when you can have 9” Aiku

Lil bro doing his best to keep him at least 5 ft away from you

I can see him suggesting that you audition to become an idol

His reasoning is because you have the looks for it, and since you have a nice handwriting, he thinks that your idol signature will be very cute

But he’ll still pester you about it, given that Sendou can be very stubborn

He’ll deny it at first, but there’s only so much that he can take. Poor boy ends up seeking you out and cry on your shoulders

Most of the time, Sendou doesn’t want advice, he just wants someone to listen

You can quickly cheer him up by pampering him, even if it’s just a little

Sometimes, he invites you to watch Hollywood movies with him

At one point, Sendou tried out poetry in an attempt to impress you. Staying up late at night constantly in a cycle of writing and crumbling the paper until he deemed it good enough, which by the way, did not happen

He didn’t clean up properly so you found them anyway and hey…it’s not too bad!

Like you, he’s also afraid of insects; but if one ever flies towards you both, although scared, he’ll be all sacrificial and charging towards the bug headforth to give you time to retreat from it’s premise

He’s more than happy listening to you infodump, he gets genuinely interested too and asks a lot of questions. He’ll flex his new knowledge to his team

Sendou as we all know, is an arrogant guy and doesn’t hesitate to talk back, so arguments between the two of you are bound to happen

He tries to tough it out yet again, but ends up crying in his sleep :(

Sendou will eventually think back and reflect upon himself, and promises to be more mindful of his behaviour

He tones down on bragging about his achievements, and avoids cutting you off when conversing

Sendou often overhears when you get scolded for ‘not being a good enough of an elder sibling’ and will immediately jump in to defend you

He doesn’t know what they’re talking about, he sincerely believes that you are the best sibling he could ever ask for

He’s also more than willing to throw hands to those who hurt you

You can try to stop him, but he still ends up doing it behind your back

He’s the type of guy who says that scars are ‘badge of honours’

Although Sendou may not show it, especially in front of you — he really, wholeheartedly looks up to you and loves you dearly

He is so, so proud to be able to call himself your younger brother

Which is why he’ll continue to work hard and become the best football player out there, not just to achieve his dream of his ideal marriage, but also to become someone YOU can be proud of :)

Since Sendou doesn’t get along with Sae, he most definitely will not get along with Rin either.

He tries to bite back his tongue and ignore Rin, he really does

But Rin doesn’t, he thinks Sendou is lukewarm

They’ll tame it down when you’re around, but once you leave the room it’ll be a super brawl

Sad thing is, he genuinely tried. He really gave it his all, immersing himself in study materials for the past week to ensure he was fully prepared. You could find him studying anywhere—whether in the cafeteria, passing through the halls, or even coming out of the toilet. He went to bed the night before confidently, walked into the exam hall confidently, sat down confidently, and handed in his paper confidently. When he received his paper back, he thought the big fat zero on the front meant he made zero mistakes

Igaguri Gurimu 🤡

Whines about studying, but ends up doing it because his parents forced him to. He grumbles as he picks up his book, pumps himself up for a motivational boost, but gives up after skimming the first page. Has the audacity to complain when he gets a failing grade

Gagamaru Gin 🐨

He lives in the forest, so Goatmaru was probably never exposed to the concept of education

Just kidding, surprisingly he does go to school, but my point still stands

Don Lorenzo 🧟

Sorry, bro grew up on the streets, he never went to school 💀. He picked up some basic numeracy from Snuffy, but that’s about it. Couldn’t care less though—you don't need to know about angles to count your cash, okay?

He forgot there was a test but somehow believes he can wing it. His overconfidence is bound to crash and burn when he gets his results back
