I suddenly thought that these two couples are similar. Only if in "Inspector Gadget" there's a division into sides (although it's great that both the bad and the good have opposite traits), Shadybug and Claw Noir are both villains, but they work more separately. Talon and Penny also occasionally team up, but they work together much more successfully.

If normal!Marinette is pastel-themed and normal!Luka is goth/punk/emo/whatever, and reverse!Marinette is goth/punk/emo/whatever, does that mean reverse!Luka is pastel-themed?

something that makes me sad is that EmoNette and EmoDrien both knew that they were dying. they covered up their black veins from everyone around them, and nobody knew that these kids were on the brink of death.
Shadybug at least was so desperate for another chance at life, so she had no other choice than to chase after Gabriel. Claw Noir is a different case. he didn't seem too keen on being alive, cataclysming himself and all. and he mostly slacked off, letting Shadybug take initiative to fight or not. but I'm pretty sure he had it worse than Shady. because his veins were already spreading to his face, which points towards his demise spreading faster than hers. that could be because either he had his Miraculous longer than her, or he strained himself more, making the veins worse. he was suicidal 100% I believe, poor kitty.
these kids were manipulated so badly, the Supreme took advantage of their suffering. this special was so dark and I'm here for it. I hope we see them again. (I'm hoping for a prologue, curious to find out the backstory for that universe)

I just saw Shadybug and Claw Noir after going in with low expectations (Because let’s face it, season 5 was crap), and…Holy shit. It was good. It was SO good. And now I’m more invested in Emonette and Gothdrien’s universe than I am in the actual show. I want more content of them, and I want it now.
