Day 1 - Draw Your OTP

My fatesona Liara with her boy Shura. I also modified Liara’s look for her story I’m writing. *A re-do of fire emblem revelations*

Shura and Liara met once before the story, and are reunited in Notre Sagesse as he joined to fight Mokushu and serve her as her retainer. Of course the two fall in love and she slowly helps him understand that he can rebuild his afllen nation and she will be there to  help him every step of the way (and help him repopulate it heyyy)

Such a great ship. I need more of this in my life

Yeah I know something so simple and quick. Not. I’ve never really…drawn stuff like this (even though I really want to get into drawing hentai)

Day 2 - Kiss

With a book in her hand, the princess had been long delved into a novel Leo recommended. She hadn’t read it for some time, but finding it in the market of a small town her team had visited proved fruitful for the pickup. Only being a quarter of the way through i she was reaching a decision point in the nove. Either to full throttle complete it most likely thorough the night and next day or put ito down and let it collect dust.

Jakob had poured a fresh cup of tea as she reached for it a knock onthe door could be heard. When it opened immediately she smiled.

“I am still never gonna be used to not hearing Jakob or Felicia ask before entering, you just barge in.”

Backing up the thief gave a small bow, smirking up at her. “May I..ahem..fuck how do I ask this? I heard that boy ask this a milion times.”

Liara’s face fell into the book a little bit, trying to conceal her laughter.

“What’s so funny?” He asked, walking over to squat down in front of her seat. “What ya laughing at?”

“I am just thinkng of all the times I will have to speak for you when we meet with royalty in different places.”

He scoffed at the idea, his hands folded as he bounced on the balls of his feet. The thief came more alive any time he spent around her, a stark contrast to the man the army had met.

“Don’t scoff Shura. You will one day be my husband, you will have to accompany me for many diplomatic ventures we come across.”

Realizing the wording she chose she turned to the man, ready to apologize. “I-I’m sorry I don’t want to push you to do anything th-”

He had leaned in closer to her, his eyes softening for her. It was a sight to her, one only she saw.

“I would die a happy man to just hear ya call me your husband.” He whispered, “One day Liara, I promise you that. Ya gonna have to put up with me for the rest of my life…” He looked down, a smile still holding firm on his face. “and our kids…”

Setting her bok pages down she fully faced him, leaning down to meet him. “Shura….you being so close I’m wondering if you’re going to give me a kiss with that dreamy statement you flirt.”

His face was bright red, almost stammering at her reply. He could try to be romantic and smooth, but he always stumbled up on it. How Niles and Laslow continued to do it he couldnt’t understand.

Taking a deep breath he looked at her, her cheeks taking on a shade of pink as his eyes locked with her.s. “I-I don’t wanna steal a kiss…I want ya to give me one.”

Leaning down the princess pressed her lips to his,  a slow and warm kiss that made his heart beat rapidly.

Before he could feel his sanity slip the man pulled away and stood up. Taking her hand he pressed a kiss to it, getting a jump out of her. “I will be returning to my quarters milady. have a good night, Liara.”

Liara wanted to protest, asking him to spend the night proved fruitless. She was surprised when he had told her he would not spend a night with her until they would spend every night together. Instead she simply allowed him to follow his heart.

“Goodnight love.” She let slip, covering her mouth at the pet name. Her embarrassment was settled by a short chuckle as he left the room, closing the door behind him.

Shura is a precious cinnamon roll that needs to be loved and protected

OTP Challenge

Day - 3: Crying

So yeah I uploaded day 2 and 3 on the same day because I had spent a lot of my free time (what little I had) yesterday working on day 2 so I’m doing 2 for 1 today..yay!

So In Liara’s Story (link here) Shura will be introduced a lot earlier. Why? Mokushu and Kotaro will be a MUCH bigger threat. They will be looking in her story a lot more as her path goes on and her path converges with the thief’s. Without spoiling TOO much….Kotaro will escape the trap he sets and Shura comes very close to getting his revenge after slaughtering numerous ninja. Hoewever..he does not get that revenge and he breaks down, feeling as if he failed his people again as he has his whole life. Its at that point Liara feels compelled to comfort him, swearing that she would help him and Kaze get their revenge. It is the first time he could remember being embraced ever since he was a small child shortly before his family was destroyed. Later that evening when the army has returned to camp Shura pledges his full loyalty to her, asking to formally be her retainer. He doesn’t know why someone would waste so much time on him, but he will gladly devote his life to her. She only accepts under one condition: that she sees Kogha rebuilt and his dreams come true.

I don’t normally do this but I thought the answer was too funny not to do. And it’s been a while since I’ve drawn Kamui being a hornbag.

Granted, I probably haven’t put as much thought into him as all of you, but I still think I did Fates’ best pirate (ninja/theif/trickshot enthusiast) justice.

In the context of The Rising Dark, this would be awkward, but Nerr is the stupidest, blindest person in the world when it comes to reading the mood. She wants her family to be happy, and that includes her retainers, and that includes Shura.

So, I may have accidentally fallen in love with a video game character again. I also may have become infatuated with Fire Emblem again. Introducing Shura, my beautiful trash husband that I can’t stop marrying.

A quick doodle of @news14-arts's Rosamund and her man Shura, because Shuramund is the OTP to end all OTPs. I would die for them. Shura loves carrying Rosie around on his back, and enjoys being the little spoon when they cuddle. And honestly, with a backpack that cute, who wouldn't want to wear it all the time?

Geez o'Pete, once I go a few days without drawing, my drawing muscles completely atrophy. Since I was too sick/cold/lazy to draw something for @news14-arts, I did Valentine’s versions of her literal perfection OC Rosamund and her wonderful trash husband, Shura.

I have been gone for a long time but I have returned to celebrate, though late, the 2nd anniversary of our beloved magazine! This time we feature the ruling family of the territory of former Gandara!

Yomi, Shura and my Oc!

There is also a story video included featuring a conversation between a senior guard and a new guard. Tidbits of my fanfic story can be glimpsed here! Yomi and his family is currently on vacation in the human world (they're not in japan though, since he wants to escape the bothersome spirit world forces-and you guys can probably guess where they are from the clothing) and the fireworks really fascinates the young Shura!

Another note: The poppy flower is August's flower of the Month along with Gladiolus. Orang colored poppy specifically, denotes health and regeneration hinting at the fate of Shura (and Yomi eventually) after almost dying until my Oc finds and saves him. The daisy on her hair on the other hand, alludes to her personality and role as it means purity, innocence, new beginnings, joy and cheerfulness.

Well this is a rather long post but I hope you guys enjoy this illustration. I'm also reopening my commissions if anyone is interested!
