Here's a sneak peek at a work in progress. My solution to my inability to mesh is to simply move vertices and hope for the best. The idea is an axe (that will be partially sticking out of the ground adorned with a necklace and a warrior's (*cough*Viking*cough*) helmet....more or less like a memorial. If all goes to plan, the horns will be important.
Since the helmet is actually a hair and EA didn't map/texture the part that you'd never see due to a Sim's head, I just pushed the cloth(?) hanging part upwards. It covers the hole, but I uncertain if I like how looks. =( It has some odd texturing parts, but if it's on the ground perhaps they won't be too noticeable.

Custom Awnings
From a cursory look into the files, it would seem custom awnings are theoretically possible, just to my knowledge no one's made any.
Theory: Make mesh, associate texture, create awnings script text file. Possible approach
Create resources For each awning component,
Get CRES name from Objects05.package (e.g. awningSlantBlueHCap_cres)
Use the "Open by CRES-Name" feature of Object Workshop to gather all associated resources into a .package file
Give model name unique name (via Fix Integrity?)
Edit mesh and texture as normal
Create Script Create a text file that follows the format of the awnings text file, specifying the 3D resources representing each awning component (which is why step #3 would be important).
Rather than having everyone edit their awnings text file, I see no reason why it wouldn't be possible to use the same approach as the Scriptorium: have a special folder for holding custom script text files and edit the original file to have an "include" that points to that folder, reading all the custom script files located there.
I don’t know if this has been done for TS2 before, but I’m going to brainstorm here. Please feel free to make suggestions.
Graffiti mod: Sims can spray paint graffiti onto walls. Sims can then use a sponge to clean off the paint.
The art is randomized and uses the Freetime “paint car” animation, prop, and effects. Each time the Sim beats the sprayer can, switch out the color effect?
The mod is object-based so that only desired walls can be spray painted. Possibly will available in 1-4 tile sizes?
Maybe use Pixelhate’s wall overlay or BoilingOil’s modified version of it as a base? What are the pros/cons of each? What are their policies?
Should Sims be able to “view” the graffiti ? Will there be “good” graffiti and “bad” graffiti ? Is it fun? Can it affect the Environment score? Does Creative skill matter? Does it build skill?
Should Sims get in trouble if caught? If so, how? Their parents? Law enforcement? What would be the consequences?
Could graffiti be module? That is, could the base object be an invisible overlay with a slot. Graffiti overlays are a separate objects (custom object type) spawned and snapped into place? Creators could then make their own graffiti artwork for their Sims to paint. Artwork might could then have defined categories: writing, artistic, silly/profane, etc. This might work like Echo/Phae’s costume types. What about using the picture selection dialog for custom paintings? That might be easier.
So I'm working on menu options for some animations. I'm curious how would you split these up thematically? This table (which hopefully shows up) is what I've got so far:

Random thought: Most of the vanities in TS2 wouldn’t really fit into an everyday masculine bedroom, gym, or locker room. Maybe use existing meshes (e.g. surface + stool, possibly repo’d?) resized to fit animations and to make a more masculine vanity that male Sims wouldn’t feel embarrassed to have?
Seeing Grant’s tweet stirred me to resume my wrestling project, which is part of a bigger project.
So far, Sims can choose their costumes and video intro. I’m still working on animations....so you can have that goofy wrestler who dresses as a llama but pretends to be a vampire, or whatever.
The idea of the project is that wrestling is a Sims career but also a functional venue. It is, after all, entertainment. Unlike any TS4 version, however, it will make use of multiple packs. :P
On unowned community lots, scheduled matches will entertain Sims. For business owners, you will run the venue and create a league of pro wrestlers. The leagues will be lot-specific, so you can have WWE-style in one arena, naughty Sims underwear wrestling in the 18+ nightclub, and underground/Fight Club in your back-alley warehouse. I might need to revisit how I plan on distinguishing public wrestlers from private leagues, so they don’t mix on unowned lots.
The traits project came out after I started this project. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions for which/how traits might be used?

I have not disappeared but For Rents patch broke my game and was glitching out my Cyberpunk Megabuilding project, also made some 6th street sims and a cyberpunk makeover of the Caliente sisters but it was getting annoying and glitchy too to fix their outfits and I'm unmotivated knowing that my building is broken, and just generally not in the mood for nice screenshots.
So in the meantime I've taken up Animal Crossing again after more than a year of not playing. Opened up another random save and am building the museum in sims 4 because every time I play ACNH I always think "I need to build this in the Sims, you know where you can actually build and create stuff with freedom without paying Nook a billion bells or taking 5 years for one section of land or having to try to grab each individual object just to move it and it doesn't fit 😅
Seriously AC is a cosy fun game but honestly it's so clunky and slow and I don't get how people have such developed beautiful islands. The build won't be CC free but I'm trying to use base game and sims packs wherever I can instead of CC. The general structure and all the weird platforms and levels were the hardest and some parts glitch and the stairs don't work etc, the build doesn't translate well to the sims meaning I cannot build complex structures without problems ever and that's why all my houses are squares but overall I think it's coming together, it's mostly just decorating and then making the exterior not look shit which will be hard but I thought of using a lot of ivy (sims doesn't have magical Tardis bigger on the inside buildings so it's a bit blocky). I just realised I also haven't even started the Dinosaur fossil section which will be in the basement, but I'm leaving that till last. The botanical garden was a hard choice but I decided to use platforms as fake land because it is easier to fit it in the space. I'll be using a lot of @bakiegaming mods and things to hide ugly angles and make it look better. Had to change some layouts and stuff to fit the build in a square but I'm happy with it. I had tried building on 40x30 but it just did not fit so it's 50x50. The random upstairs rooms that hide the fish tanks are going to be extra space that I'll just put whatever I want. I now realise after playing more that this corresponds to an art museum i hadnt unlocked yet, so i guess ill do that. Could have been better with 64x64 but the game has barely any lots that big cause Sims 4 could never. If the final result does not have too much CC I'll definitely be sharing, I don't think I've shared a single build before.

I started building the Uchiha compound/district and thought i'd make some cute little uchiha crest logos for outfits, decals and maybe some stuff and.... it got a little out of hand Decals + snowy escape Noren curtain recolours coming soon! Naruto themed, also going to upload plain swatches version when I'm done (it bugs me that so many of the curtains have pictures but not a plain version)
pov when you realise how horrendous your stardew valley farm is as you try to build it in the sims
Curse the doctor-who time lord tecnology of these houses how am i supposed to make it look aesthetic on the outside and nice on the inside it is impossible
basically im going to make the second living room/sebs room a basement floor, as well as the wine cellar, and the baby room and bedroom the upstairs, its a bit cramped but it fits. I hate this but i hope i wrap up the layout soon and can actually start to make the farm

I wasn't sure what this would look like at first i was just gonna make like one wallpaper but as you see it got out of hand. My farm is unfinished that's why some areas are quite empty still. I think it is a bit bizarre but also whimsical and weird and I like it I'm not playing a stardew valley challenge, just recreating my stardew farm which you can see here (My farmer lives with Sebastian, that's his room but the save is still empty with no villagers yet) (I mean of course it's his room look at the computer, games table, the frog tank and frozen tears and amethysts everywhere)
Might do a challenge one day with the empty house. The cool thing about sims having 3 dimensions is I can actually turn the barns to the side and build behind the house which is actually very freeing :D Also henford is just perfect for this
Honestly the hardest part was actually adding a bathroom to this build since apparently in stardew valley bathrooms don't exist

I've finally started building, all the sims are mostly done. I don't know why I wanted to start with this one😅 The weird secret blue island with caterpillars thingy will go on the last two basement floors. In my stardew save I'm trying to use the sewer as a recycling space like i've seen other players do. So I'm gonna try to do an eco lifestyle vibe for krobus here.

thank you @mauvemorn and @stamsim no guys I think I actually somehow (with the help of other creators basically telling me what to do in literally every millisecond thank you thank you thank you) managed to convert a mesh from cyberpunk 2077 to sims 4 omg im dying of joy it took me days but i did it im going to cry if you think its easy and im dumb you can go on and head to another pleasant lovely place that doesn't interfere with my inner peace and pride at actually doing more than just botch editing a photoshop image also its a wip and not finished im still playing around with maps and textures but omg maybe i can convert the whole cyberpunk clothing catalogue well no that would be insane but yeah omg maxis match is not an option with this im afraid, but i might make a matte less shiny version ok bye

I know it seems I'm doing nothing, but I've been doing a lot of stuff for my cp save + cc converting:
Building V's megabuilding (h10) complete, I redid it all and use it with for rent and so far it isn't corrupted lol
Cloned the megabuilding and now making h03 and el coyote cojo bar, I'm having so much fun with it
Then when it comes to cc I'm converting a bunch of stuff from cp and don't plan on stopping anytime soon, I love the items! plus don't have a clue how to model something yet. It is hard for me but so far I've converted with a lot of help from other creators V's yukata, the "rogue" pants and some heel strap boots. These are almost finished I just keep starting new things instead of finishing 😅 It's also frustrating that the more things I do the more I learn and then the previous stuff seems badly done and I keep redoing it and taking ages, and simultaneously the more things I do the more I realise I don't know and how much nuance there is for each item and it's hard, especially converting meshes that were not intended for this game at all but it is doable. So yeah learning a lot, still clueless about a lot, and trying not to get too perfectionist but make sure things are as good as possible. When I was building my el coyote cojo/ heywood lot I thought it would be neat to put those abandoned loot suitcases around with random junk inside (you know all the crap that somehow ends up in your sims inventory that you don't want cough cough robot parts from chemistry lab and random mysims dolls and stupid clay cough cough) and ended up converting this. So it is finished and functions as a storage backpack (can be put in sims inventory and put as much stuff in as you want), but before I upload i wanna make the same case into a growing together suitcase and once that's done I promise I'll finish all this stuff before doing something else 😭 When it comes to this lot and my megabuilding I may continue the cc list for the upload of it if I have time after these cc uploads (I started before it corrupted with For Rent) and if it's too much I'll just make some pics/videos, but I'm super happy with these builds 💛 RIP Stardew Valley save, wait for me, it's not you it's me I swear I try to force myself to cycle round my different saves otherwise I fear I'll abandon them and I always get re-inspired once I start.
