Holy shit this show destroyed me.

He’s the most reckless, most crazy, most insane Jedi ever, but he’s also the most caring, the most loving. So it totally makes sense that he would always watch over Ahsoka, because he loves her. That’s it. He loves her like a little sister and he’ll always be there to watch over her.

anakin still watching over ahsoka even as a force ghost makes so much sense that’s so in character like THAT’S anakin skywalker that recorded 2000 holos for ahsoka in his free time that’s the anakin that trained her to survive even himself

so I think I figured something out.

I'm hopefully getting ahsoka's Galaxy's edge lightsabers soon and in all the reviews I've seen people always point out how the shoto is the wrong color, because it's green instead of the yellow-green that we see in the clone wars

however, if Disney wanted to have this color, they would, because the shoto even has a different tone of sound font, it doesn't match the main saber exactly. every time Disney has released an animated padawan ahsoka, both her sabers are green

a bit of digging with find you with the story that when they were deciding on ahsoka's shoto George Lucas wanted green and Dave wanted yellow, they settled on yellow-green (which I'm not really a fan of). i find it funny that its here when Disney wants to follow what George wanted tbh

but in conclusion, Disney did it on purpose, and personally I like when lightsabers match eachother

am I the only one who actually prefers the lore that says that Jedi collect their crystals and then meditate with them and that's what gives the crystal it's colour??? (i certainly hope not)

i know it's a thing in the comic books where characters just pick out a crystal with the color already ingrained into it and there's nothing more to it but I feel like half the reason lightsabers are cool to me is because they actually tell you something about the user, they tell you their preferences in combat, how they view the force and sometimes even how deadly they can be

do I wanna believe mace windu just found a purple crystal or do I wanna believe he got this rare color because he uses dark side tactics but has the ability not to be blinded by them?

the first time I saw Anakin's lightsaber was blue I thought it was very telling about who he was and I believe that it was actually the first hint to his dark tactics and eventually his fall to the sith (even if it was by accident this is my interpretation).

how could the chosen one, the person with the most midi-chlorians, a person who has incredible force potential, uses a blue lightsaber instead of a green one? it is so accurate to his character because blue means you prefer using your saber to using the force in combat, they're also usually the first to pull them out and the ones to do it without hesitating to anyone anywhere.

i just thought it was perfect, that paired with an aggressive style, it was right under their noses

Tales of the Jedi breakdown

judging by the HD images. The animation style looks like a mix between Clone Wars (environment - more realistic) and Rebels (characters - less textured)

Her mom looks quite young to me Because she still wears a hood. Otherwise it supports Ahsoka just having short montral genes? 😂

I really like Mama Tano’s style. Saw a lot of Ahsoka on her. The denim blue and work clothes. It’s also short-sleeved and has square pockets on the thighs. I want to say the hood is the same shape as 304 off a hunch, but that might be a stretch. The hood, of course, has two tassels just like Snow Outfit has two pom-poms on the montral tips. And is it too early to say it has a central seam?

yes this Shilli (if they dare to name it at all - YESSSS THEY NAMED IT) fits near perfect as I imagine. Mountains, valleys, village huts. If one thing it’s the foilage could be more colourful. It’s a bit Earth (North America)-like right now with the pines. And it could fit better into the lekku=camoflauge legends bit

I’m so excited to see a togrutan Grandma and generally a bigger sample size. Let’s hold out hope that’s a Grandpa so they are not retconning long female lekku once and for all. Because obviously the other adult on the right looks like she is a Rebels model. (The Elder is a Grandma)

Just this pose is so classic Skyguy and Snips. They are bickering, Anakin has NO defense against Ahsoka. He WILL indulge her. YES. THAT’S THEM. And the organge, the composition, side-view level wide shot with the two of them right in the middle. I can ring you three parallels right this second (206,322,520)

reasonably it’s porbably the novel’s showdown with the Sixth Brother. But I hope is a new story. also sad if that’s the case they don’t bother bringing out Monkey Boots :(

i think about tales of the jedi for half a second and i’m going to be ill. what do you mean we’re getting animated snips and skyguy back im literally going to throw up they mean so much to me

imagine turning 21 and the government just hands you a kid ?? and they’re like “ok now homeschool it good luck”

not to start whacking the hornet’s nest but i think the most tragic part of ahsoka and anakin’s story together is that from the very first moment, it’s all based on a lie.

ahsoka meets anakin after aotc - he’s already committed an unjustifiable atrocity. he’s already slaughtered the tusken people, and as far as we know, ahsoka never finds out about that. and you know, that would completely and wildly screw up ahsoka’s perceptions of anakin

and i would go so far as to say it would screw with her image of anakin more than the vader reveal. because the vader reveal is like. oh shit your older brother/ best friend has turned into a monster and has committed genocide and is currently trying to kill you

but the tusken massacre reveal is like. oh shit your older brother who tucks you in bed when you’re sick and who makes you laugh so hard your ribs hurt has, for the entire time he’s loved you and you loved in return, been a murderer, and has actively been hiding a horrible, unjustifiable secret

the vader reveal is tragic because the anakin that ahsoka knows and remembers is, to her knowledge, gone forever. the tusken massacre reveal is tragic because the anakin that ahsoka knows and loves is based on a lie
