Hello hello! Could I request headcannons for yandere sova, cypher, chamber, and phoenix with a male or gn s/o who knows about their antics and constantly avoids them? (Thanks in advancr if you do this!!) [đĽ]
i cannot tell you how excited i was to write this. Iâm literally uncontrollably shaking and sobbing right now. i love Valorant sm and yeah I still play it hehe. i havenât seen much Yan fics for the characters so oh well ig I will add to the already small ones that exists. thanks sm for requesting this đĽ anon ! đ
Yandere Valorant with a S/O who Constantly Avoids Them.
Ft: Chamber, Phoenix, Cypher, Sova
â Now Loading⌠â

Chamber:
One you started to avoid him, immediately he would catch on. The smug grin he would wear on his face around you and the others, would slowly turn into a cold dead stare the last place you stood in front of him.
He is a very possessive man and the more time away from him doing meaningless things like avoid him, would just be another open door for anyone to come into your life.
For some reason the more you avoid him, the more prominent and pushy he is. He is a manipulative conman who would ruthlessly do anything to get his way.
In your peripheral vision, standing there will always be Chamber reminding you that at the end of the road lies him patiently waiting for you.
Bringing it up to Brim would be pointless. No matter how much he dislikes Chamber, he is a valuable member of Protocol and losing him would cause great loss to the team.
So youâre stuck.
Walking back to your room, all you hear is the humming of the fluorescent lights lighting up the corridor. It was late in the night, no one was up and half the team was gone on a mission investigating recent activity of spike bombs throughout Italy.
An eerie feeling began to slowly come over you. Crossing your arms, you continued to walk to your room hoping to reach your private sanctuary.
Sliding open your door, you slump against it letting out an exhale of relief from the creepy feeling you got in the dim hallway.
A little rustle of sheets makes you snap your head up towards its direction. There on your bed was Vincent Fabron in all his glory, sitting at the end of your bed with his legs crossed and hands intertwined around his knee while he smiled at you.
A small gasp came out of your lips as you stared at him like an unpredictable animal not knowing what he was going to do next.
âWhatâs wrong mon cheri, miss me?â

Phoenix:
It would take a little while for Phoenix to notice that youâve been avoiding him.
Sure sometimes in the past you got a little annoyed with him and would avoid him sometimes, so this would mean eventually youâll come back to him right?
When you donât is when Phoenix has to take matters into his own hands.
At first he would try to play it off as a joke with little playful whines of how he could make it up to you or how he would stop being annoying sometimes.
That doesnât work.
He will start to get antsy over time and thatâs when that playful behavior of his starts to slowly slip away.
After coming back from a mission, you were seriously injured. Sage made sure to heal you and let you rest in the med bay. Picking up on Phoenixâs presence and how close she thought he was to you, she left to give you two privacy.
Being too tired from sustaining injuries and using the rest of your energy on the field, you're completely drained and all you could do was sit there as he grew closer.
Phoenix stands in front of you, looking down with an unreadable expression as he adjusts the collar of his jacket.
Looking down, fiddling with his rings is when he decided to open his mouth.
âYou know all this fooling around and this is where it gets you. Look I donât know what I did, but Iâm sick of this silent treatment. It would be best if you would stop this before things get out of hand.â
You canât help but feel your heart drop from the menacing glowing orange hue of his eyes as he continued to stare right at you.

Cypher:
There is no real way to avoid Cypher. If we want to play the âwhat ifâ game then sure, okay. It all depends what stage of obsession he is at.
We all know that he has lost someone really close to him and throughout his game dialogue he says some pretty sad stuff. When you find out about all of Cypherâs manipulation tactics and surveillance cams, thatâs where things get messy.
After a day of rigorous back to back training with Kay-O and Phoenix, your left is completely beat and sore. Laying down on your bed you take a moment to relax before your stomach churns in an uncomfortable way forcing you to sit up.
You canât help but feel like someone was watching you, yet you were in your own room.
This would continue until it gets out of control like the snowball effect. It would get to a point where you begin to tear your own room apart trying to find what or who was watching you.
The other protocol members take notice of the dark circles that linger under your eyes, the whiffing of shoots when merely practicing in the range, and how jittery you are when simply eating breakfast.
You know it's him, but there is nothing to do than confront him.
It would have been better if they were to just leave it alone and go along with the saying âIgnorance is blissâ, but even then the end would still be the same.
Confronting him would lead up to you knocking at his door in the middle of the night. Tears adorn your face as your eyes are swell from the excessive abuse youâve put them through.
Sitting in a chair in front of an old fashioned chess board, sits Cypher gesturing you to take a seat across from him. Looking at the chessboard, all that there is left is a singular white king chess and a remaining black king piece in his hand. With a small tilt of his head is when you hear the dreadful word that marks the end of your fate.
âCheckmate.â

Sova:
In order to find out Sova was pulling the strings in the background, you mustâve had to look deep and hard.
Sova makes sure to cover his tracks only wanting you to know him for the honest agent who would do anything to protect his team and lead them to triumph.
When the avoiding begins to start, it takes a little while for him to notice. He is a valued agent of Protocol and Brim makes sure to deploy him on almost every mission because he is someone he can solely trust.
Once the small conversations you would have in the common area stop and all your responses are short and straight to the point is when Sova takes notice.
With a little observance and recon, he finds out how you had caught onto him. It was bound to happen eventually as it was better to confront it sooner than later and let it go on longer.
Getting ready for bed, you put on your lip balm before untucking your covers from the neatly folded position it was in. A knock on the door interrupted you before you had the chance to slide into your bed.
Letting out a small groan, you made your way to your door before sliding it open revealing the last person you wanted to see.
âMay I come inside? I know it is quite late, but Brimstone wanted me to quickly deliver the notes for the next upcoming mission.â
Holding up a vanilla envelope, he gives a small awkward smile. Furrowing your eyebrows you step to the side letting the tall man step in. Closing the door you noticed Sova placed the envelope on your desk before continuing to stand there staring at you.
âĐно ĐžŃĐľĐ˝Ń ĐśĐ°ĐťŃ, нО ŃŃĐž Đ˝ŃМнО ĐąŃНО ŃдоНаŃŃ.â
Before you could take a step back, the last thing you saw was the glow from his robotic blue eye as he drew away the used syringe.
Hello! I was wondering if you could write for Yandere Sova or Cypher with a g/n reader whoâs completely oblivious to anything and everything. Iâm sorry to bother you if youâre busy.
hi anon! iâm finally posting again and actually picked up the motivation this time!! i got my life on a pretty steady pace rn so i believe i will post more !!
Yandere Sova & Cypher w/Oblivious Darling
â ° ⥠⢠⾠⊠â ° á´á´á´á´Ęá´á´á´!

Sova:
Sova with an oblivious darling would actually make him feel better with what he is doing. Sure he still feels guilty with isolating you from the rest of Protocol and manipulating you so he is the only real one in your lifeâŚjust a little bit less.
If so, you being oblivious to all of this justifies his resolve. With you being this unaware, someone else could take advantage of you. What kind of man would he be if he let someone else lay their hands on you, especially in a malicious way.
On missions you wouldnât even notice that he was always on the same site as you. Others would and talk to you about, maybe Brim with how dad-like he is or Yoru making some off brand joke.
In the end you would just dismiss it as always claiming him as a âgreat friendâ or just âsomeone who cares a lotâ. I mean most of it is true that is.
Once you get back to base, itâs straight to either him tending to your wounds (if you even have some) or to his room.
After a while rinse and repeat, the others just stop commenting about it since it doesnât seem to get through you.
Basically an oblivious darling makes it easier for him to make you his without even getting his hands dirty.

Cypher:
He is always a calculated man, although he never thought that you be so dense.
Just like Sova it would be easier in the end, but he just be confused sometimes. He would make some inviting comment and you would just smile or giggle in response. Cypher would just stare at you and cock his head in mega confusion. It gets to a point where it gets so obvious that others pick up on it, yet you still remain in the clouds.
Cypher in general would utilize his cameras as a method to keep watch on his darling. Yet this is even better for him as he doesnât really have to worry about you finding the cameras or just overall ever thinking that he would place a camera in your room to watch you.
This even happens on missions, setting up on the same site with you or keeping watch on his camera if anything gets out of hand.
After missions he keeps an eye on you when Sage tends to you, never to far away. If he ever lurks and gets caught he doesnât have to think about a complicated excuse.
I mean isnât he just such a caring friend?

Hello hello! Could I request headcannons for yandere chamber, sova, Omen, and Brimstone with a gn s/o who knows about their antics and Are you trying to escape them? I say, as if I'm trying to get out of protocol (Thank you so much for reading this and sorry for the mistakes, English is not my first language )
Hi everyone! I know itâs been awhile and Iâve been gone so long. I took writers block to a whole new level. This last year sm has happened but to be honest I want to write again and use this as a creative outlet! I hope you enjoy, love you all đ¤

You knew that staying in Protocol was a gamble, never knowing if you were going to come back in one piece or even alive at all. It didnât help when one particular agent made your time in the special covert operations organization an almost living hell. Even if the fate of the world was on Protocols backs, it was time to leave while you couldâŚor at least that is what you thought.
CHAMBER:Â

Before you even began thinking of leaving Protocol, he already knew what was going to happen. It totally wasnât how uncomfortable he made you when he would constantly flirt with you on missions <3
He wouldnât talk to you about the matter, actually doesnât address it all only with small quips and remarks that make you question whether he knows your plan or not.Â
Chamber isnât Brimstone, he doesnât have the power and control that the head leader holds. Although that doesnât mean he is totally powerless, this man has money and status that he most certainly utilizes.
He is a shady man, a con man if you really want to put a label on it considering what he did to Fracture, manipulating and lying to get what he wants. Under protocol he doesnât have control over you, so he would definitely let you have your âtemper tantrumâ before he would take any immediate reaction.
He wants you to feel as if you have the upper hand, as if you won.Â
Now with you being out of Protocol and not under constant surveillance leaving in the base, he can do as he pleases.Â
Opening the door to your flat, you are greeted with the familiar darkness you see everytime you return from your work shifts. Taking off your outer coat you hang it on the coat rack beside the door, taking the time to sleep off your shoes about to turn on the lights. You never consider yourself paranoid, yet the eerie feeling of not being alone began to send a chill down your spine. The room was still dark, silence filled the air as you listened for any noise that would indicate that something was there. Slowly your hand made its way to the light switch, flipping the small white knub up as the lights blasted on. To your horror the last person you wanted to see sat there in the burgundy velvet wingback chair in the living room. The slick back hair, chunky yet expensive glasses frames, that blue silky waistcoat that cost more than the rent you paid, Chamber. Vincent Fabron. âBonsoir mon chĂŠri. What a nice residence you haveâŚquite old fashioned for my taste, non?â He finally spoke, his signature card in hand as he toyed around with it. âYou left so suddenly, not even a goodbye? How inconsiderate considering how close we were.â He rose from his seated position in the chair, stalking forward towards your frozen stature. His eyes remained focused on yours, an unreadable emotion as he continued forth before stopping in front of you. The coy grin he wore on his face as he gazed at your fearful expression with delight. With a small snap the card disappeared from his hands, the golden tattoos lighting up as the object retreated. He stood posed, staring down at you as a wolf to a sheep. âYour little game is over chĂŠriâŚlet us be off.â SOVA:

He always had been doting, trying to accommodate you and make sure that your time at Protocol is pleasant considering what all you have to go through to keep global peace.
He would start to see the hesitance in your eyes, the inner turmoil and battle you had with yourself when things would go awry (totally not around him).
As you resign filling out paperwork to Brimstone who was sad to see you go yet understood where you were coming from, Sova would come across you and Brim. He saw you walk into his office, and concerned he followed. It didnât take him long to notice the paperwork that laid in front of you, pen in hand.Â
Sova, who is always a calm and collected person doesnât say much yet stands there with that composed expression on his face. Yet if you looked hard enough you could see the way his artificial eye glowed brighter as his jaw clenched.
He would ask to speak to you, nodding his head at Brim who didnât expect a thing considering how highly regarded Sova is and how much of a good ally he was to him. He would have to settle this himself.Â
An unsettling feeling made its way to your gut as you stood up and followed Sova out. The further you walked away from Brim and closer to the door, the more you could feel your freedom slipping from your grasps. The mechanical door slid open allowing you to make your way to Sova who stood down the hallway, a hardened look on his face. He never was this scary, kind and clingyâŚnot like this. Standing in front of him, you looked and finally realized how much bigger he was than you. âWhy are you leaving?â He asked, plain and simple. âI-...uhâŚâ You stammered, the words you wanted to say were gone and now incomprehensible. âYou do realize that if you leave, you would be in so much danger.â He spoke in a concerned manner, although at this moment you didnât know it was a mask to cover up his ulterior motives. âIf you leave, who knows what could happen to you. You wouldnât be protectedâŚwho knows what your other self could do when omega earth realizes you are no longer with us anymore?â Desperation filled his voice as it wavered in worry. The longer you stared into his eyes, the more guilt you felt. He cares about you, worries about you and this is what you do in return? All heâs ever done was insure your safety and thatâs what youâre worried about? âYouâre rightâŚI donât know what I was thinking, thank you Sova.âÂ
OMEN:

Even though he is the sweetest ever, he is still eery in his own way. Ominous. He isnât much of a talker and if so he says stuff you can never wrap your mind around.Â
He lingers around you, whichever room you're in he somehow is there, cutting his bonsai tree or knitting to remain calm. His presence is one you canât shake yet it still is uncomfortable when you two are hardly friends.
Deciding to leave Protocol is a hassle itself, one that you most likely wonât even have the chance to do. Omen has some attachment to you and everyone seems to know that even Brim.
Most likely due to his perceptive he is, he knew of your little plan of trying to leave. He would talk with Brimstone trying to talk him into a deal or some type of way to make you stay. You keep him calm, all those voices and nightmarish images he has to live with everyday, you somehow make it bearable.Â
When you arrive in Brimstoneâs office requesting your resignation, somehow you cannot. Brimstone explains it has something to do with agent confidentiality or the safety, you werenât really listening.Â
Yet youâre stuck.
Standing there under Brimstoneâs gaze never upset you, never made you nervous or anxious in any way. It was him who stood there, the walking shadow as he gazed upon your rigid form. Your fists clench to your side, sweat starting to form in your already clammy hands. The whole confrontation was unsettling, not only Brimstone was delivering such disheartful news, you had to endure the shadow that loomed over you. By the time the meeting was done and a final apology was uttered from Brim, he dismissed you. You walked out, form slumped as you were completely saddened by the news. As you made your way to the shared dining facility, you made yourself a cup of tea to calm your nerves down from what had happened. In the corner of your eye you could see the familiar phantom, the inescapable nightmare that you permanently stained your life..Â
BRIMSTONE:Â

Youâre not making it out of the book with this one. There is no way you could even try to leave considering he is the leader of Protocol and would make up some excuse as to why you couldnât resign from your role as an agent.Â
He makes the rules and no one questions it. Why would they when all he does is look out for his fellow agents and tries to encourage them as much as he can.Â
Brim is one stubborn man, one who has committed himself to protecting this earth from all the radianite crises that continue to happen. He had the chance of retiring, starting a family and settling down somewhere in those American suburbs with the perfect life. He will do anything to keep you there. To keep you under him so when this is all over you and he can finally have the life his ex colleagues always talked about.
He is dedicated and with dedication there is nowhere to run or even hide.Â
Stepping into Brimstoneâs office you meet the gaze of the older man and you stand in front of his desk. His demeanor changed as he sat up in his chair straightening his form and clearing his throat before he began to talk. âYou know why I called you in today?â He begun, his fingers laced together as his nose crinkled with a small sniff. âNo sir, I do not.â You addressed him formerly even though it wasnât mandatory. âI heard word from the others about you possibly wanting to leave. Is that true?â Your back stiffened as you felt scrutiny under his gaze. Your mouth went dry, heart stammering in your chest the longer he continued to stare at you. âYes sirâŚâ A defeated tone you uttered. He shifted his position, a soft sigh escaping his lips as he turned to look back up at you. âLook kid, I can't let you do that. Considering what is all going right now, not only would it be risky for you but with what you know Protocol could be compromised. Iâm sorry to deliver this kind of news to you, I know it can be stressful but that is why we're all hereâŚwhy Iâm here.â He stood, walking towards you to place his much larger burly hand on your shoulder. The close proximity unsettled you as silence settled in the room, his deep breaths compared to your shallow fearful ones. âWhen this is all over you donât need to worry about all of this. Like I said Iâm here for youâŚI always will be.â It was at that moment you knew your fate was sealed.
You loved Sova's body. His broad shoulders that could carry any weight, his strong arms that weren't hiding any strength, his back muscles that rippled smoothly under his skin.
"Are you done taking pictures ?" he sighed as he shot you a long side-glance.
You smiled broadly behind your camera, still immortalising this moment. You did not miss the shy blush dusting his pale cheeks. He made such a beautiful model in your lovestruck eyes.
"Ignore my presence, my dear hunter."
Clic. Easier said than done. Your gaze was heavy, intensified by the lens of the camera. Sova sighed and resumed his archery session. He sometimes thought you were worse than Cypher. He tried to focus once more on the target but he felt your eyes burning his skin.
"You know that you're cute when you're blushing ?" you chuckled softly.
Clic. He cleared his throat to hide his embarrassment. He focused his aim, shot and missed his target.
Clic. You hummed mischievously, put down your camera and walked calmly towards him. You back-hugged him, your sweet laughter muffled in the fabric of his clothes.
"Aw, Sasha !" you cooed playfully at him. "Is my presence a problem ?"
Sova scoffed but caressed the back of your hand with a softness that was only shown to you.
"You're lucky I love you, ĐźĐžŃ ŃОва."

Sova loved the archery. The sensation of the bow bending to his strength, the sound of the arrow piercing the air, the satisfaction of seeing his target hit. You preferred knife throwing. The comforting weight of your blade in your hand, your muscles flexing around you weapon, the release after you threw it.
And you two loved each other and wanted to understand your partner better.
"Sova darling, your bow definitely hates me," you groaned.
Manipulating a bow demanded more strength that you initially thought. The bowstring was capricious between your gloved fingers and the arrow refused to stay in place. Sova definitely made it look easy.
"Knives definitely suits you better than it does to me, ĐźĐžŃ ŃОва." he chuckled.
His hands were clumsily manipulating and dropping your knives. You giggled and grabbed his hands gently.
"Here, let me show you." you giggled. "Then you'll teach me archery, okay ?"
He nodded smiled and melt into your touch, admiring your skills and how the weapon seemed to obey each movements of your fingers.
It seemed like you two found a new way to spend some quality time.

I'll post both the Sova x Cypher and Sova x Reader on the weekend, just a bit busy during weekdays
In whereâŚ
Sova meets someone familiar in a mission
A/N: This isn't the fic that anon asked btw, this is just a fic that's been in the making for quite a bit, and I'm only posting it now
Chilling in the common area, he polished his bow as the distinctive chatter made him smile. Being with his fellow agents brought joy to his whole being, knowing they were still as lively as ever despite the dangers of their work.
He remembered the calm days he had with his friends back in Russia, where everything was still normal, where the world didnât turn to shit. He vividly remembered this one person who he always hung out with, but they suddenly disappeared one day and left. He couldnât remember their name, but he could remember what they looked like.
â
Going over the documents for the mission he was being sent on, Brimstone briefly mentioned that there would be witnesses and he would need to be extra careful with his actions. âNot a problemâ Sova thought, slipping some drugs into a drink wasnât his forte, but it wasnât hard either. He didnât like the thought of drugging some person, but he wasnât against it due to his work; not like he had any choice.
âBrimstone, it says here that a potential radiant will be present. Iâm assuming that I will have to recruit this person?â
Now that Sova reached the last page of the document; he immediately saw a profile of the ânew agentâ. There was no attached photo of them, but it had their name, age, and birthday. The information probably came from Cypher, and that made him scoff. Although he disagreed with how Cypher gathered information, he couldnât deny that it was useful.
âThatâs why I simply didnât hand over the document. (F/N) has been seen by multiple people using their radiant powers, and theyâre being highly sought after Kingdom. Itâs better if we recruit them now, or never.â
Sova nodded, bidding goodbye to Brimstone, and got ready for the mission. The mission was simple; Drug the CEO at the party, wait for him to eventually pass out, and secretly take the keypad and go into his office to take the folder and go find this recruit in the party and leave.
Simple, right?
WellâŚ
â
At the supposed party, he clearly underestimated how many people there were going to be. He could see at least a hundred people chattering amongst themselves, the CEO still not in sight.
He sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose as the mission became much more⌠Harder. He doesnât even know what this (F/N) looked like, and he was supposed to talk to almost everyone to even find them.
âAnd you must be..?âÂ
The CEO suddenly came up behind him, and Sova immediately introduced himself, quick to make some friendly talk⌠And the events that happened were within his plans.
Now that he got the folder⌠All he had to do was find this person.
As he talked to each and every person one by one, he was getting socially drained. And just as he was about to deem a semi-success, he saw a familiar face in the crowd. His eyes widened and desperately squeezed through the people to get to them.
Once he was close enough, their eyes met.
â... Sasha..?â
Sova gulped. Seeing their face again, he couldnât stop the memories that came rushing back in. The person whom he lost and loved.
âDo you... Remember me..? (F/N)?â
can't wait for part 2!
Sova x Reader: Die For You

Aight, so, I've had "Die for You ft Grabbitz" on repeat for the last few days. And while letting my imagination run wild while driving, as one does, I had this come into my mind and really wanted to write it out. I don't think it's the best? But i started this while still on a buzz and was determined to finish it haha.
I'm still kinda new to Valorant, and writing Valorant no less, so I hope you like this! I want to add Valorant to the list of what i write for soon! I may play around and do my own little scenarios here and there though for a bit.
Also let me know if you think this needs a part 2!
Time seemed to stand still for Sova.Â
The blonde was one A site of Fracture, fending off the attacks of the mirror Omen, KillJoy and Viper. Brimstone was there to help defend the site. However, through his ear piece Sova heard a scream he never wanted to hear.Â
You were on B site, keeping an eye out to make sure no one rotated around and took the spike there while they werenât looking. Sova heard you let out a blood curdling scream, followed by intense panting. A look of horror spread across his usually calm features.Â
âY/N?â Sova shouted into the comms. âY/N speak to me. Whatâs going on? Did they rotate?â He spoke in a panic.Â
âThereâs 2 here. KAY/O and Yoru. KAY/O hit me with his knife. Iâll be fine. Just keep an eye on your enemies, we donât know who actually has the spike.â You spoke. Peeking your head around a corner to get a better look at the mirror agents.Â
âStay hidden until we know. Youâre hurt.â
âIâll be fine, Sova! Donât let me distract you.â
You gripped your phantom tight in your hands. Adrenaline flooded your veins as you looked down at your side. The knife that KAY/O had thrown was lodged above your right pelvic bone. It had definitely hit something, but you knew that trying to take it out would only make any bleeding worse. Thankfully, not all of your defensive capability was dependent on your radiant abilities.Â
Throwing out a device that would flash the two opponents and temporarily blind them if successful, you moved as quickly as you could into B tower. You were in a bad position, but it would at least give a better vantage view of the site. From here you had a clear view of the whole site, and a semi good hiding spot as well.Â
The only problem would be running from here. If you went towards your back, you would have to go down the zipline to get down. But with the injury there was no way youâd be able to do so without being found. The only other option would be to go forward, into the open where KAY/O and Yoru would most definitely find you.Â
The one thing you were sure of was the determination to get back to your lover Sova. Oh how you longed to be in his warm embrace after Sage would heal you. But to get to that, you would need to push through and make it out of this alive.Â
New found determination running through your veins, you pulled up your phantom, looking down the site and steadying shaky hands to get a good view of KAY/Oâs head. Taking a deep breath you began to pull back on the trigger, pulling back right as the cybernetic turned its head in your direction.Â
Startled by the sudden movement from the opponent, you jerked slightly. The shot hit KAY/O, but only managed to damage the screen on his face. Coming back to your senses quickly, yoiu took another shot quickly, managing to down the Cybernetic this time.Â
Sucking a sharp breath in, you took cover again and hid away from the site in B tower once again. You had hoped to get KAY/O in one shot, downing them quickly so you wouldnât be out as long and lower the risk of being found. But due to being startled there was now a higher chance that Yoru had seen you as you took the second shot. Attempting to slow your now ragged breathing, you convinced yourself that you were fine. Using thoughts of getting back to Sova in one piece as a comfort.Â
Peeking around the wall to get another look, the site looked empty once more. Yoru was nowhere to be seen, and you hadnât heard his notorious line he loves to use when he steps into his dimensional drift. Thinking that you were in the clear, you dragged yourself out into a better position to see.Â
âSova, I think Yoru moved to A. I took down KAY/O and it looks-â
âY/N?â Sova yelled into the comms once he heard your voice abruptly cut off. âY/N, whatâs going on? Be careful of Yoru!â
As you had tried to finish your sentence, Yoru snuck out of their dimensional drift behind you. Smirking, he knocked your feet right out from under you. Screaming in pain, you landed on your right side, shifting the knife and writhed around in pain on the ground.Â
âHeh, you should always keep an eye out when Iâm around,â Yoru spoke condescendingly. A grin took over his filters as he watched you writhe in pain beneath them. âThat was your first mistake.âÂ
Looking up at the man, you made an attempt to push past the pain and reach out for the phantom that had slid across the floor. Yoru let out a huff through his nose as he laughed at the pathetic attempt.Â
âPathetic as always. Looks like both versions of Y/N have one thing in common.â Yoru let you attempt to crawl away a little before walking over and picking you up by your hair. âBoth are useless as ever.â
Slamming your head down, Yoru walked over towards the boxes of radianite that were by the stairs of the platform. He pulled out a spike from what seemed like nowhere, activating it and planting it a few feet in front of you. Turning back towards you, Yoru crouched down while pulling out his signature butterfly comb. Smuggly looking down at you as he brushed his hair back.Â
âThereâs no time for them to save you Y/N. With your injuries itâs impossible for you to even crawl over to the spike to get in range to diffuse it.âÂ
Yoru stood up, walking towards the entrance to B tower. Stopping when he heard a shuffling sound, he turned his head and saw you making an attempt to crawl to the spike. Pulling yourself along with your upper arms in a military crawl.Â
âNot only are you both stubborn, neither of you know when to quit.â Yoru turned around completely and made his way over to you. A hard kick to the abdomen sent you flying back a few feet. He clicked his tongue at you and looked back at the spike. âLooks like itâs my time to get out of here for now. Iâll let the spike finish you off.â
Yoru stepped back into his dimensional drift, leaving you laying there. You reached out for the earpiece that had fallen out of their ear when Yoru knocked them down. Before the piece even met your ear you could hear Sovaâs panicked voice calling through.Â
âY/N! Speak to me please, moya lyubov. Whatâs going on over there?â
âHe pl-... planted here. Thereâs no time⌠you need to stay out of range.â You spoke, trying to catch your breath. âI can try to diffuse it⌠but thereâs no guarantee I have the ti-.â
A coughing fit took over you, shaking your body and making the pain worse. Feeling something wet in your hand, you looked down to see bright red blood.Â
âY/N, what do you mean? Iâm coming for you.âÂ
âNo! Youâre more important to the Valorant Protocol than I am! If only one of us is making it out of here it has to be you! Iâm already severely injured. I need you to survive, Sova.â You pleaded with them. âBrimstone, please make sure Sova doesn't come for me. Iâll try my best to diffuse the spike in time. But I donât think I can.â
Brimstone took one last shot at Omen before seeing him retreat back towards where theyâd come from. Pausing for a moment to think, he looked over at Sova to see the pain and panic spread across the man's face. Should he follow what Y/N wanted and make sure Sova didnât run into danger? Or let him go and try to save Y/N?
Making up his mind, Brimstone grabbed Sovaâs arm as the russian tried to run towards B side. Sovaâs wide eyes met Brimstoneâs grimm ones.Â
âWhat are you doing? You have to let me go! Iâm not letting them die here!â
âIâm sorry Sova.â
âItâll be fine SovaâŚâ You spoke through the comms as you made an attempt to crawl to the spike. âIf I die so you can live, I donât mind. You mean everything to me, moya lyubov.â
âChert, Y/N! You canât do-â
Taking off the ear piece so you didnât have to listen to Sovaâs pleading screams, you crawled over towards the spike. The beeping was quickly speeding up and you knew there wasnât much time left. Pulling out a diffuser, you held it up as soon as you were in range and activated it. Between the pain and blood loss your vision was going black at the edges, but you were determined to stick through it and diffuse the spike.Â
Despite having come to terms in your mind that you were more than willing to sacrifice yourself in an attempt to keep Sova safe, you wanted nothing more than to live and get back to him. Determination kept your grip on the diffuser as tight as you could keep it, knowing if you let it go there was no chance youâd have a miracle and diffuse the spike.Â
âPlease⌠Please workâŚâ You pleaded, tears brimming your eyes. âI⌠I donât⌠I donât want to die!â
You screamed out the last sentence right as your vision started to completely go black. Despite your best efforts, your body couldnât take the stress along with your injuries and gave out from under you.Â
As your consciousness faded, you heard the spike stop beeping. But was it the last beep as the spike detonated? Or was it the last beep as the spike was diffused?Â
That was something you would have to leave to your imagination as you couldnât hang onto reality anymore and slipped away.Â
