kind of wanna reinforce this here. because i’ve seen ai writing become so popular on tik tok.
ai writing is not okay.
it’s literally theft. just like how ai art steals, ai writing steals. it’s using authors’ very real work to generate whatever you type in. and this also needs to be said as well.
writing is a form of art. fanfiction is a form of literature.
seeing this all over my fyp is REALLY discouraging. fanfic itself is already a labor of love and we love it when you interact. but please do not use ai writing for your fanfic needs when this writing literally steals from fanfic authors.
genuinely don’t know if this post will go around because my interactions outside of hcs are shit, but i hope it does.
i honestly like the fact that the series never forget who the main team is. i always get sad when stories ditch the main characters friends for the edgy cool rivals and coroika never really does that. goggles goes on adventures without blue team a couple of times, but it always goes back to focusing on the blue team. no matter what happens, theyll always be friends. blue team are never forgotten or replaced by someone cooler or more edgy. i like that about coroika.
i'm not sure what people are expecting when they want the manga to move away from blue team winning most things in obnoxious ways; it's not like splatoon as a whole is peak fiction, and you still have to think about what kind of audience it's normally geared towards. a lot of it isn't meant to be in a serious light and is just something to have fun with. there's plenty of characters and arcs to interpret in different ways past just what we're shown as the audience--just get silly with it

There's actually a secret Sunken scroll embedded in the code of the first Splatoon game on the Wii U. To access it, you have to beat the final boss 69 times hitless (if you get hit one time the number will restart), once you do it you will get a pop up congratulating you, while warning to not share the contents of the scroll as it is only for the freshest squids. The scroll shows young cap'n cuttlefish and octavio from sunken scroll 16 kissing, with the caption "my fucking cod! these bitches gay! good for them! good for them." Telling you the nature of the sunken scroll already puts me in the eye of the nintendo ninjas so I can't actually show the image but I promise it's worth doing the hassle. Good luck!

it is extremely funny how the post-fest dialogue went. as expected, deep cut did not care even a little and pretty much nothing has changed and all three of them are gonna forget this even happened once shiver has had her fun deciding which street food they get for the next week and meanwhile people are killing each other in the streets over this. complete disconnect between how serious the idols took it (not at all) and how serious the community is taking it (death threats)
