Guess I have a Supernatural OC now…

She has no name yet.

She has a name now: Alexis Poole.
She has some background, for the show is over and such, but I gave her a background. I will also draw her with her dog, Huck.

No matter how many times I watch supernatural he always makes me laugh and so does Lucifer😂💀
So about a year ago I decided to show Supernatural to my boyfriend who had never seen it, amazingly enough we are only at S07E03 at the moment, but it occurred to me that I wanted to document his viewing. He knows I am a huge destiel-shipper, but the status so far is:
He does not see any signs of destiel so far, nor does he believe that either Cas or Dean might ‘lean that way’
He laughed at ‘French Mistake’ (big relief!)
He rolls his eyes every time Dean (or anyone else) takes the oppotunity to call Meg or Ruby a bitch, slut etc. (Love it)
He rolls his eyes every times Dean (or others) makes obscure pop-culture references and often rants with me about how “Nobody understands you, Dean!”
He really like Castiel, thinks he is cool
He really hated Samuel as a character, found him really creepy and stupid (as did I)
He expressed how the last half of season 6 was SO MUCH better than the first half
He loves Crowley and was bummed when he thought he died
He agrees with me that the show has its ‘brilliant writing’-moments as well as its ‘who wrotes this???!’-moments
It is my wish that I would update after each episode (or so) under the tag #Em&MattWatchSupernatural
I know I don’t really have many followers, so this is mostly just for me to look back on, as Supernatural is one of my favorite TV-shows and I want to capture his first experience of it (especially interested in when/if he notices the destiel subtextual romance, as he often doesn’t pick up on small subtly clues).
this is very cliche but i truly do believe sam and dean winchester are the original pathetic little meow meows
So, I was on my daily re-watch of 15x08 and I got to the part of the episode where they catch Michael and do their whole interrogation scene. Was watching the part where Dean starts saying to Adam “There’s nothing we can say to fix that-” and then Adam gives him the look and says “How about, I’m sorry” yes yes very sad, but I’m about to make it hurt more.
I noticed that Adam dead-stares Dean in this scene, when Michael puts him in control earlier in the scene he’s like normal Adam, fair-going and happiy-ish. But when it gets to this part he just looses all that and just lets his words really get through to Dean (and Sam off screen).

But then Dean does this little pull back thing and call me crazy but that totally looks like the classic ‘Dean, I can’t admit my actual feelings, Winchester’ face.
Taking in Adam’s words face:

Realising he can’t say I’m sorry face:

Don’t get me wrong, I do think Sam and Dean regret leaving Adam in the cage but they’ve forgotten about him, or at least they thought he died in the cage but it’s only now that Adam is actually here in front of them that they want to do the morally ‘right’ thing and say sorry. But they can’t, not truthfully, because Adam will always be a reminder that John Winchester failed them at being a parent. That he was unfaithful to them and Mary and lied to them everyday.
So that’s Dean’s realisation in this moment right. And Adam probably saw that realisation by looking at Dean’s face. But then before he can say anything else Michael forcefully takes the front seat again.
I mean look at this sequence:

“Enough.”
Mans is in distress
And the fact that we haven’t seen Michael take control of their body like this before, never this aggressively anyway, leads me to think that something is different about this moment.
My guess is that when Adam realised Dean wasn’t going to apologise and own up for his and Sam’s actions, he got this overwhelming wave of emotion. Mainly disappointment, he knew that his brothers were awful and doesn’t forgive them for leaving him behind but he was willing to. He was willing to get some closure about their actions but they weren’t, and that’s hurts. Michael probably saw these thoughts, heard them, heard exactly how much underlying anger and pain that Adam had been hiding and it was all just now bubbling to the surface.
So Michael - the notoriously emotionally stunned Archangel he is, who already hated Dean viscerally - quickly wanted to calm Adam down and ease the pain that was going to explode any second but now Dean’s upsetting Adam!? Michael probably freaked and just shoved Adam to the back seat while he took control. Which is why his reaction was so extra because he didn’t tell Adam he was taking over he just did. Because he didn’t want Adam to hurt anymore than he already has.

Like even Dean knew something was up, he looks them up and down and turns away like “nah, Adam’s boyfriend gone crazy y’all I’m out”
OMFG-
Thank God somebody finally brought this into the light!
I hadn't seen anybody else talk about this moment and whenever I saw it I always thought "hmm that's massively a little homosexual???"
I mean C'MON what are the implications here: stroking something long and phallic, giving Sam bedroom eyes, speaking in a lower tone making a funny little joke?????
Gabriel saw that Dean had left the room and for a second was like-"Heyyyyyy Sam, maybe I can repay you *wink wink* for y'know, helping me get fixed up back at the bunker there and-"
and then he found out Dean was heading for Loki and was like shit ok revenge first dick later

When Gabe turned and looked at Sam like this while absently stroking cleaning his wooden sword.
random rant about Ben but a point i see get brought up a lot (very few times im just looking for it) about how Dean can't be Bens father is that Michael would have used him as a vessel instead of Adam if they were related.
And just no? First of all Ben was like what? 10 or so when they tried to end the world and i just don't think Michael would pick a little kid to fight the devil in and secondly It was about brothers. Michael had to fight the devil his brother not a kid related to his brother's vessel. so it had to be Dean or Adam from what Cas said
I don't even really think Ben is Dean's kid but this was just a weak argument in my opinion
(Also somewhat related thought Alistair once said it was supposed to be John who was the righteous man who shed blood in hell. If he did instead of Dean would he have been the vessel instead of Dean or was Alistair just spewing crap at Dean to make him upset?)
is it just me who noticed the boys got dumber as the show progressed?
in the first season they knew basically everything they were hunting and how to deal with it. The both knew a lot about the occult and legends but later they seemed to know nothing without research or calling Bobby or just asking someone else or the bunker books
some of that has to do with them dealing with things they never believed in but still these boys used to be so smart and they lost that along their way.
The reason they used to struggle wasn't because they didn't know what the monster was or what to do but it was because monsters were horrifying and clever
