Started listening to Magnus Protocol today. I'm somewhat freshly after finishing episode 4. So far my fave episode was Putting Down Roots. Really enjoyed the horror in that one. Also really love the characters and I need to come up with some designs for them soon.

Was at a museum yesterday and it turns out sword with gun was an actual thing people did. Neat. Like they straight up attached a flintlock pistol to a sword. Imagine swordfighting someone and you think you avoided their attack but then you hear a gunshot and then oh look at that. You've been shot.

Being a magnus archives fan who has friends in the chainsaw man fandom is kinda interesting because whenever I tell them about magnus archives worldbuilding and the fear entities they are always like "Omg this reminds of chainsaw man so much" and I am over here like "Yeah it kinda does". Tbh not really upset because I am a fan of both and I kinda see the similiarities but at the same time these two stories are very different from each other

Idk if I've seen anyone's take on what entity was the one that caused stuff in tmagp 9 but I think it is a very Web episode. Like while End's whole thing was gambling stuff the dice here don't feel really End-y to me. They seem more like Web. The way they slowly forge an addiction in you and the way you can't seem to refuse to roll the dice, it all just feels very Web to me. And also the way it is all described is a very addiction type of thing. Starts out nice but soon you just do it because it feels right. Addiction is also a very Web thing. Also the dice manipulate fate, which again, Web. Thanks for coming to my ted talk.

Fully caught up on Protocol now. Gotta say I love all the monstrocities the writers this season are cooking up. Also I love Ink5oul. They just scratch that disturbing itch in my horror obsessed brain so well. Also I already see that this podcast will end tragically. Also I just realised that the donation center in TMAGP 7 got protocol'd. Anyways I am excited to see how the plot will unfold.

The censor bar is there to conceal this things looks from all the people around so that their brains don't melt

Their bardic inspiration is some sort of otherworldly static that makes you weirdly inspired

Ate basil lime ice cream yesterday

Probably the first game that I go into nearly completely unspoiled

I am prolly gonna enjoy it greatly

Update: Just defeated the first boss

Honestly the combat system in this game is so fun; love the rock, paper, scissors type system, love the jackpots

Honestly it's hard to pick a favorite character because all of them are so good and the gorgeus art direction doesn't make it essier to pick a fave purely on the base of design

Anyways yea I love it so far
