Rating (some of) star trek characters from tos and aos by whether or not I think they wash their ass.
Jim T Kirk (tos):
Yes absolutely 8/10 very clean as expected from a bisexual man with a lot of gay feelings for his first officer.
Jim T Kirk (aos):
A cursory wipe but he gets better eventually after he hooks up with a girl who likes pegging and discovers his ✨gay feeling✨. 3/10 to like, 6/10.
Leonard 'Bones' McCoy:
Yes. Spotless, both versions original and reboot. This man is a doctor and also just hygienic. 10/10.
Spock (tos):
Quick and efficient, this is a man who showers in five minutes and is still cleaner than the guy who took a three hour shower. 10/10.
Spock (aos):
He's still riding the high of his first act of rebellion and sees his ass as too dirty to touch but still attempts it. I'll give him a 5/10 for effort.
Sulu:
Yes. This is a homosexual, not only does he clean his ass, he values personal hygiene and dedicated Saturdays to taking care of himself. 12/10.
Chekov:
No, this is a teenage boy who's booksmarts have left no room for common sense and he joined Starfleet at fourteen, right at the worst time, puberty wise. 1/10 because he's a clean boy otherwise.
Uhura:
Do I even have to give a reason? This is a women with class. Of course she cleans her ass. 10/10
That's all for now, feel free to disagree and I'm not a coward so if someone gives me a compelling enough arguement to change one of the ratings I will.

Even Captain Kirk is enthralled with how gorgeous Sulu looks in Star Trek Season 1 Episode 21 The Return of the Archons. So beautiful!
This Side of Paradise indeed! Found some gorgeous shots of Mr. Sulu in Star Trek S1 E24. The show really loves making thirst traps of its characters lol…mhmm, mhmm, mhmm!!
And here I thought Spock couldn’t get any sexier than wearing all black…wrong!! Spock in green and hopped up on spores is very delicious indeed. I highly recommend watching Star Trek S1 E24 This Side of Paradise. So many beautiful shots of all the cast, a great storyline, Dr. McCoy with deep southern drawl, Spock kissing multiple times (in another post I will show my proof lol), very sassy Spock, great monologues by Kirk, and a really growly fight between Kirk and Spock.

Yeoman Janice Rand brings a tray of food to her friend Mr. Sulu in the botany lab. Then she goes over and talks to an animated plant that looks a lot like a hand puppet.

Just when it looks hopeless for Uhura, two things happen. First, a call comes over the ship’s intercom system from Captain Kirk for Uhura to report to the bridge Then, the door to the Botany Lab opens, and Yeoman Rand and Mr. Sulu walk out into the corridor. These two things break the Salt Vampire’s concentration. Uhura is able to snap out of the hypnotic spell. She looks at the crewman with an expression of concern, realizing that he is not what he seems. She quickly darts over to the intercom to respond to Kirk’s summons, then she hops in the turbolift to join Rand and Sulu. As the doors close, Uhura is finally safe!

Yeoman Janice Rand and Mr. Sulu round a corner and discover a crewman lying dead on the floor, his body’s salt completely drained by the Salt Vampire. Sulu uses the intercom to call for an emergency medical team, while Janice stands there, with her hands resting on her thighs, looking down at the disfigured crewman.
