Summary: When he arrives in the mutant sovereign nation of Krakoa, (M / N) feels a little apprehensive, until he meets a charming countryman to make him feel at home.

(M / N) walked through the gate, afraid, apprehensive, he didn't know very well what to expect for him on the other side, but he knew that anything would be better than the nightmare he lived with his “family” because he was mutant and gay. "Everything will be fine, now you're fine" - Said Storm as he held hands with the trembling boy passing through the portal. When he can finally see Krakoa he felt he had died and that was paradise.

A few days later he was still impressed with how everyone there managed to communicate, even with the linguistic differences of mutants coming from all over the world, the telepaths in charge were really powerful. He had been assigned to live near the home of the New Mutants, a team he had heard a lot about. He avoided the most famous mutants, fear of running out of reaction, in fact he was avoiding everyone in the past few days. Ororo was one of the only ones in which he felt confident, since it was she who rescued him from the nightmare he lived in, she always found him close to the beach. The water made (M / N) calm, after all his mutation was to have control over the water, in all its states. He always felt the need to be close to water, whether it be the sea or a stream. (M / N) found it a little unbelievable that the boy who had already lived with mutants with much more incredible powers was interest on his, but still accepted the request of the beautiful boy by his side and concentrated on the water, taking a portion of the sea and making it turn into a beautiful snowflake.

"Can you make it snow?" Roberto asked with wide eyes.

"No, no, no, I have no control over the climate, it's just restricted to water and things made up of water"

Roberto was silent, (M / N) thought he had finally lost interest in him. After a few minutes of thinking Roberto said: "If you manipulate any object with water, and the human body is made up of 70% water, could you control a person?" He said all this too excitedly, but the memory (M / N) had about it was not pleasant.

"Yes ... I can control the blood inside people, because there is water and basically make them move the way I want to, but it takes a lot of effort and I don't like to do that, the only time I did it doesn't bring me good memories" .

Roberto realized that he touched on a delicate subject for the newcomer, so suddenly, Roberto gave him a hug. (M / N) felt that he was going to literally die.

“Dude, did you ever imagine that you could be an omega-level mutant? My god imagines Bobby's face when he knows that there is another mutant that manipulates ice. A powerful, beautiful and Brazilian mutant, I think the Universe has finally fulfilled my requests ”.

(M / N) wasn't stupid but he didn't want to interpret it the way he thought it was ... But he didn't have time to answer, Roberto got up and held out his hand, helping the boy to get up.

"Come on, water boy, I think you and I are going to have a lot of fun, you're going to love my friends and I'm going to show you all the cool places on the island, with an emphasis on those that have water I promise".

(M / N) couldn't believe what was going on, but he was starting to feel that he could open up more, and that maybe Krakoa really was completely a paradise.

my attack on the amazing @venomous-qwille ! I absolutely adore their characters (their designs are simply perfect?) I just want to look at them for ever. these guys are some of my favs so I drew them together but below are some close ups.

ngl I only figured out how to do gradients on procreate halfway through fool so misuta got the short end of the stick, sunspot kind of got sad-beigeified, and the proportions are way off :( I still love them though. their designs are a labor of love to draw but they’re totally worth it 🥰
