‘Twilight’ void/black salt.

I had a neat gif of this rainbow-y sparkly goodness but of course tumblr isn’t letting me upload it… So this will have to do.

I only used one ingredient to get such black salt - charcoal. Specifically activated charcoal which you can find in the drug section of most grocery stores. It will make your hands and tools black, but can easily be cleaned. Or you can pour a pill of it directly into a jar of salt and start shaking, soon you’ll have black salt. I like the use of charcoal because it has cleansing properties, perfect for black salt. To turn it into my Twilight salt I added biodegradable holographic glitter and eucalyptus oil. Super cleansing/protective salt. Enjoy~

Witch tip #1

If you’re using birthday candles and have trouble finding a candle holder small enough for them to fit you can use paper clips to make one. 

It’s also super practical for traveling witchy kits! 

The Living Wiccan's "Hell Hath No Fury" Protection Powder

This is a very simple protection salt I use to ring around my rituals, cleanse my spaces, and even sweep the floor with.

It’s good because not only does it protect, but gives a nice bite back to any negativity/entity/thing that tries to cross it. Best for ritual work and simple spirit work, not necessarily protection from physical attackers.

It’s something pretty much every single one of my readers can make at home with its ridiculously simple ingredients and process, but it’s not something that everyone would think of off the top of their head.

Ready? Here we go. Try not to sneeze!

You’ll need: 

1 part sea salt (coarse is best: see picture below)

1 part black peppercorns

1 part chili powder

a large bowl

mortar and pestle

bottles (size varies on how much you want to make)

funnel (optional, but not worth leaving out)

Step 1: 

Place the coarse salt and black peppercorns in the mortar and pestle. Grind them together. Yes, technically this could also be done with ground pepper, but I find the actual effort put into grinding them makes the powder more effective.

This’ll take a long time — you’ll want it to turn to a fine, light brown powder. 

Step 2:

Yes, you guessed it: place the sea salt and chili powder in the mortar and pestle and grind together. Remember how I said this was easy?

This should turn to a light orange, almost pink when finished (my pictures really don’t do it justice). 

Step 3: 

Add the two together. You can see the peppercorn mix on the left and the chili pepper mix on the right.

Step 4: 

Ready? Time to get this thing in a bottle. This is where that funnel I mentioned earlier can really come in handy. 

And there we have it! Put a nice little label on it, put the date you made it on the back, and now you have your own all-purpose protection powder.

Burning Incense on Smoldering Charcoal

natural-magics:

Fill a heat proof incense bowl or censer with at least 2" of sand, or natural ash (do not use salt, this is not safe). This will provided some much needed insulation for your burner. Charcoal can burn at up to 1500 degrees F. 

Form a cone shape with whatever medium you filled your burner and place the charcoal tablet at the peak. This will allow air to flow around the charcoal. This is more important when using sand, since ash is “breathable.“ 

Place a charcoal tablet on the ash/sand and light the edge. If it’s self-igniting charcoal (contains potassium nitrate) you will see tiny sparks as you light it and it will ignite quickly so never hold it in your hand! If you need to hold the charcoal over an open flame to ignite it, use tweezers or tongs to hold it. 

If your charcoal tablet has a concave indentation on one side place it in your burner with the hollow facing up. Use the "bowl” to hold your incense ingredients. 

Wait until the charcoal is glowing red hot and is covered with grayish-white ash. This could take about 5 minutes or so. If you like you can fan or blow on the charcoal to help get the whole tablet started. 

When ready sprinkle a pinch or two (about ¼ -½ teaspoon) of incense (e.g. resin, dried herbs, etc.) directly on top of the hot charcoal. The incense will begin to smolder. Be careful not to place too much incense on the charcoal or you may smother it and you’ll have to start over. 

When the smoke begins to thin out, add more incense. The charcoal will stay hot enough to burn incense for about 45 minutes to an hour.

Burning Tips: 

For a longer lasting burn that yields a subtler yet full bodied aroma you may also want to try “heating” incense over charcoal. This is a great incense burning method for wood chips (see below)

To maintain freshness (quick lighting and long burn time), charcoal tablets should be stored in a cool place in an airtight package. 

If you’ve purchased an incense mix that’s labeled “match light” that means it can be burned without charcoal. Follow the instructions on the label.

Is it Bath Time?

Three new bath salts! Put about ¼ cup into a warm bath to help manifest energy and positive thinking. Enjoy for relaxation, purification, and meditation. 

Stress Relief ~ 1 cup epsom salt ~ 1 cup sea salt ~ 10 drops lavender essential oil ~ 1 tbls dried lavender ~ 1 tbls chamomile flowers

Cleansing and Purification ~ 1 cup epsom salt ~ 2/3 cup sea salt ~ 3 ground bay leaves ~ 3 drops lemon oil or extract ~ (optional) 2 drops salt water

Ritual Amplification  ~ 1 cup epsom salt ~ ¼ cup sea salt ~ 10 drops pomegranate oil ~ 1 tbls rosemary

Empath Protection

This is only one out of many methods for doing this. Keep in mind that not all Moons are equal, though. A lot of people just make this on the Full Moon, but it’s a good idea to pay attention to where the moon is astrologically during this. Certain spells call for Lunar-charged water from certain periods or phases in the Moon’s cycle.

Charging Storm Water

This spell is used to give your spells extra pizzazz and ooomph! It also combos really well with Blessed Water. I will post that spell later. 

Items:

Large Bowl/Container

White Cloth

Silver Candle

Cauldron

Tsp. Mugwort

Feather

Dark Bottles w/lids

Timing: During rainstorm; then Full Moon.

Steps:

Place bowl or container outside during rainstorm.

When you collect enough water bring inside. 

Place a white cloth over it and put on Altar to wait for the next Full Moon. 

During the Full Moon, remove cloth so moonlight will touch the water. 

Light silver candle, drop Mugwort into flame, and waft smoke with feather over water. Then recite:

By Thunder and Lightning By Mugwort and Mood! This water is charged to work and boon. 

Can move into Blessed Water Spell at this point or move to next step.

Let candle burn for one hour. 

Pour water in clean bottle for storage in a dark area. 

Congrats, you now have boosted water for extra OOOOMPH!

Witch tip: soap substitute

Use soap infused/scented with certain herb/spice as the ingredient instead of actual plant matter, when you’re out of that very plant or on purpose. Goes well in beauty or body care spells and rituals, easier to find and buy, stronger scent, often contains mix of different coordinated herbs to suit specific intent. Grate flakes or cut off small pieces

I saw that post about when it's raining and it's time for 'weird witch stuff', and it got me thinking of what are some of the with stuff you can do in the rain?

Quite a number of things, Anon!  Of course, keep in mind that your local laws may vary on the legality of collecting rain water.  Always be cautious and look up your city and state laws regarding this.  Also, be careful about ingesting rain water unless you’re confident on how to properly filter and purify it.

COLLECTING RAIN WATER

Rain collected during a gentle rain fall is said to inspire peace and serenity, and is useful in calming and tranquility spells.

Rain collected during a storm is said to carry the energy of the storm - powerful, ferocious, energetic.  Use storm water for empowering spells.

Add hot sauce, capsaicin or extremely hot crushed peppers (with caution) to storm water to get fire water, useful for warding and curses.

Rain collected during a wind storm, such as a hurricane or tornado, is said to help with letting go and moving forward.  That being said, collect with caution and never put yourself in danger to do so.

Rain or hail collected from a hail storm can be used for destructive purposes, for warding against and eliminating psychic attacks or creating them.

Collect water off of a gravestone to create spirit water, useful for spells involving spirits and ancestors. Caution: Preferably collect this from a friend or family member who was comfortable with your witchcraft, or a spirit who has agreed to this. Always return the favor with an offering.

Rain collected off of a flower tends to carry the trait of that flower.

Rain collected from a dirt ground can be used for grounding.

Rain collected from a crossroads can be used for choosing a direction.

Rain collected from a liminal space can be used for astral travel (crossing the hedge/venturing into the Other).

Rain collected during a full moon is purified water or empowered with the moonlight.

Rain collected on sabbats are useful for those sabbats’ intents (eg, Spring Equinox for fertility, May Day for sexuality, Midsummer for sun and fire, Samhain for ancestors and spirits, etc).

General rain water is used for cleansing.  Use it to cleanse yourself, your house, your jewelry, your stones (that aren’t water soluble) and more.

UTILIZING RAIN AND STORMS

Rain and storms tend to evoke certain moods in us and are perfect for raising energy for spell work or ritual.  Just be cautious if you decide to venture outside, especially if lightning or severe weather is a risk.

Rain has great purifying and cleansing properties.  Consider cleansing tools that can’t be damaged by water in the rain, or step out in the rain to cleanse yourself.

Spells that involve letting go or cleansing are appropriate during this time.  Consider writing down negative thoughts with a watercolor pencil and set it out during a rain to watch it physically wash away.

For anyone who keeps plants, indoor or outdoor, rain is a great refresher.  Particularly for indoor plants, who cleanse our air and home, setting them out for a light rain shower can help cleanse them as well and suck the negativity out of their leaves.  Just be careful not to over-water indoor plants with rain water.

CALLING UPON RAIN AND STORMS

Beliefs vary on weather magick.  Some witches and pagans believe you can use spells to alter your local weather and some don’t.  It’s up to you to make a decision on this belief.

Cast a flint stone or sand behind your back to the west to call forth rain (De Lamiis Libre, 1577)

Splash a besom end in fresh water from a live spring, lake, stream or river.  Then use the broom to either “stir the sky” or sprinkle water above your head.

Call upon rain by whistling to rustle wind while pouring water from a pitcher into a bowl.

Use an incense recipe to call upon rain.  Some might be available at your local store or you can use a mixture of bracken, fern and heather.

Fling water onto your hearth stone to call upon rain.

Black Honey

I’ve learned through some research and some traditions that honey is one of the best substances to use in witchcraft. I like to think of it as liquid clear quartz. I have mad my own mixture of honey that I think you will all like. It’s called black honey, and it is best suited for “dark magic.” It’s good for curses, bindings, hexes, and lots more.

To make it all you need is:

Honey (of course)

Water (I just used plain tap water. But you can use any kind really. If you wish you could boil it first, since water is really psychic.

And something to dye it black ( I prefer to use calligraphy ink, but I’m sure you could use food colouring, ash)

Steps: Firstly, combine the water and honey. Make sure that it still retains a somewhat think consistency. Then add the dye. Make sure that it is completely, or almost completely black as it will help with the practice. Then you can place energy and intent on it. And it’s done.

With the quarantine and all I had a lot of time for myself at home, which made me buy random stuff online.

While scrolling the app I found a supplement that 100% gurantees growth or your money back. This made me curious so I bought it along with some weights and other stuff.

Some days passed and I got what I ordered. I read the bottle of supplements and said take one a day. The pills were small and I mean real small so I thought of taking more.

After setting things up I took 2 pills and started working out. In 5 minutes I felt myself heat up and sweat a lot. Next was an odd feeling of being horny.

I looked at the mirror and thought the pills made me delirious because I myself blowing up with muscle. My whole body pulsed and grew, pulsed and grew. I can see my biceps inflating along with my pecs. My stomach deflated then brick like abs popped out.

When things went back to normal I was very excited that I grew instantly like that. Here I gave myself a flexing and admired my neely grown body.

As I flexed and groped I suddenly felt myself heating up. Looks like the pills were working again. I kept admiring myself looking in the mirror as I grew again.

But things were very different now. I blew up way faster and looked like a pro heavyweight bodybuilder but shredded to the max. Then I crept upwards my face now gone from the mirror.

As things calmed down again in the mirror I could only see my legs thru the mirror other than that I was too wide and too tall to see anything else. I even had to slouch as I was now taller than the ceiling.

Suddenly again I felt another episode but now I got hard, harder than I've ever been and my penis just blew up like a balloon and along with it my body grew again. Taller, wider, heavier, stronger.

I was in euphoria and sorta scared with what I was becoming. But in the back of my mind I was loving it and eyed the supplement. Maybe one or more couldn't hurt me.

Don’t tell mom and dad!

I hear heavy thuds coming from the stairs. I glance over to the living room, and saw dad sitting with mom. If dad is already down here, then who’s big feet is coming down the stairs? I get up from my breakfast and walk over to the front of the house. As I look at the steps, I spot a man with ripped muscles slowly making his way down.

“Who the hell are you, and what are you doing in my house?” I yell at the intruder.

“Shhhh, keep your voice down dude… it’s me, Danny” The bulging man replies anxiously.

“D-danny?” There’s no way this behemoth is my younger brother “That can’t be you!”

Danny is a small boy for his age. He is not exceptionally small, but small enough that a group of kids would often pick on him during recess. Mom thought that maybe he hadn’t reached puberty yet, which is fair given he is only 12 and that’s when boys usually start. However, both dad and I had started puberty when we were around 10, so it seemed kind of odd for Danny to be the odd one out. That’s why it was hard for me to believe this man in front of me was my younger brother. I mean, this guy is huge! Without even flexing I could see the strength in his arms throb. And the weight from his large feet slapping the wooden stairs made a loud thud, even louder than dad’s.

“When you were 13,” the man’s deep voice caught me off guard for a moment, “you accidently bought porn on TV and blamed it on me.”

I was stunned out of disbelief and embarrassment “How do you know that?”

“Because I’m Danny you cockwaffle!”

Suddenly it clicks, this man before me really is my brother- only my brother would make an insult as ridiculous as that. But how is this possible? How could by brother spontaneously grow two feet in height, grow a beard, and… Is that a tattoo? How did THAT get there? Just last night my brother was the small, not-so-innocent boy, that always came downstairs in his fuzzy pajamas. This… this hulk right here looks nothing like him, especially when he’s wearing nothing but a pair of tight boxer-briefs.

“H-how?” Is all I manage to get out of my mouth.

The man sighs “Derek’s brother is taking supplements, so he snuck some out for us to try.”

“Danny tell me it’s not those supplements from that commercial, right? You know, the one that specifically states children under 16 are NOT allowed to take?”

“I don’t know! Derek just gave me a few pills, I swallowed them last night, and then I woke up like this with my pajamas in tatters around me.”

I wanted to be angry at him, especially for being so careless about taking pills, but given his newfound size and possible strength, I didn’t think it was wise to get into an argument.

“So what are you going to do when mom and dad find out?” I ask, calmly.

“Uhhh, nothing. They’re not gonna know because I won’t tell them.”

“What? How are you not going to tell them? It’s not like you can hide being a tall jock!”

“Not as long as they can’t see me! Pretend like I’m sick, alright, that way I can stay in my room and think of a better plan.”

I try to stop him from this ridiculous idea, but the bodybuilder that is my brother has already begun running up the stairs to his room- his bare feet slapping the wooden steps with tremendous force.

“Just don’t let mom and dad see me in my room!” The man yells as he disappears up the stairs.

I sigh, this is going to be one hell of a morning.

Being a guy isn't so bad. I'm stronger and taller, people respect me more and no more perverts ogling me (I mean there are still but not as gross as before).

Although my boyfriend is having a tough time with my change. It all started with me trying that stupid supplement my boyfriend bought. I thought it was safe since we usually share everything even down to our supplements.

Didn't know that it was from Growth Inc. and that it was strictly for men only due to the observed changes it does to women.

It was painful at first with all the bones forcing to grow and lengthen, my muscles getting torn and fixed so it can grow, and what was once my lady parts became a pornstars dick and balls.

When the changes were done I did admire myself touching every bulge every muscle. I got aroused just looking at myself and was about to use my new rod when my boyfriend came in the room.

It was hard trying to explain what happened as he was defensive that a giant naked stranger was in his house and his girlfriend nowhere in sight.

For now we will be adjusting to my current situation and that Growth Inc. has reported they are looking into helping to try and reverse the side effects.

Honestly I'm loving all the perks of being a man, double that I' like 3x more masculine than my boyfriend. Now I know what it feels to want and protect someone. Hopefully I can seduce him and love my new body and maybe let him feel pleasure he hasn't felt yet. Wish me luck!
