Awakening 🕯️
as if it wasn't enough to have dragged my friends into my sky hyperfixation, we've been building a story that keeps getting deeper and deeper . . and it's far from done yet ! it is definitely based on the lore itself but also on our own theories and additions . . so I decided I also wanted a visual of it. Maybe of some important parts ⎯⎯⎯ we'll see how it goes. I'll be calling it "Awakening", since it ties very deeply into the characters involved and their arcs.
This is Kid ! a skykid which seems to be quite like all the others. born in the forest, the first thing he does, or that he remembers to do, is to wake up the Elder of the Forest for some reason . . but he is quite confused by the expression on her face upon seeing him. It was the first time they had seen each other, why would his presence be so upsetting ?

After Kid awaked the Forest Elder, it seemed to him that she was upset, for a reason that he couldn't quite put his finger on . . But neither of them dwelled on it, and he recounts how she taught him lots of things. He doesn't understand why other skykids find her mean and scary . . She is kind and beautiful. After quite some time, another attempt was made ⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯ but he still couldn't remember his name, nor who she was. Was he supposed to ?

I really enjoy working on these videos, and voicing them! They're taking quite some time to work on, but it's really worth it and I really hope that you enjoy them as much as I do 💕 It's not possible to include all the details that my friends and I have been working on regarding the lore, but I'm doing my best to incorporate them into this story form 🫶🏻

Kid followed the Forest Elder's instructions, and went around to discover the world, something which seemed to trouble her quite a bit, especially when she wakes up from a seemingly recurrent dream, leaving her nervous and anxious. She wakes up to find Kid right where she feared he would be: by the gate of Eden. Kid is pulled back, and forbidden from entering the realm, for a reason that Teth doesn't explain. Kid wonders why she is acting as if every star was an eye staring at her. He finds the stars beautiful, and notices that one of them had fallen off. What could that possibly be, and what could it mean for everyone? was it just an ordinary Skykid?

Despite being unaware of Teth's nightmare, Kid is still able to observe that something seems to be wrong. The Forest Elder appears to be restless, and is always checking her surroundings. He is unsure as to how to help, but he notices that her mood lifts a little when he talks to her about his adventures. It does sadden him that she doesn't seem to find happiness otherwise. What could possibly make her heart so sorrowful? Kid's thoughts are interrupted by the sudden appearance of a very shiny stranger, who refers to themself as "Moon". Kid immediately equates their person to that of the moon itself. Would he be correct in assuming so? If so, why would the moon suddenly show up in human form?

Kid is overwhelmed by his own emotions, and seeks find the comfort he usually gets when in the presence of the Forest Elder. In the meantime, Mekh's inner turmoil only grows as she also rushes to find Teth, but for a different reason. Assembling the pieces together might have created a certain narrative in her mind, one that might not be entirely correct. But Mekh bears the burden of her own pride and her own mistakes, which renders her highly susceptible to such criticism ⎯⎯ and intolerant to blame of any sort. As she recalls having confronted Teth in the past, prior to the Shattering, and angers over the fact that she hadn't been harsher, her thoughts are interrupted by Moon. Mekh lashes out, thinking that Moon was here to lecture her, but it didn't seem to be the case. Moon seemed to want to speak with Mekh. Their calmness, which didn't reciprocate Mekh's anger, caught her off guard. What could Moon possibly want to talk about ?

Memories flash through the Forest Elders' mind, clearer than ever before, filling her with rage. She seems to be holding a grudge against someone, who she wishes nothing but harm upon. Just as she states that he may never reach her again, the mountain of Eden erupts, and burning shards surround the Elder. She thinks herself dreaming when she hears Kid calling to her, only to realize that he truly was. He stutters as he attempts to recount the events that had upset him to such an extent, while Teth attempts to keep him from getting distracted by the redness of the sky. He ends up escaping her and rushing towards the shards, hypnotized by their color and their odd appeal. She yells at him not to touch them, but he doesn't seem to be listening. As she actively avoided being in contact with Darkness, she doesn't hesitate to jump in when Kid seems to put himself in danger.

After Teth rushed to save Kid, who had been mesmerized by the glow of the red shards, she finds herself in a void of darkness. But she isn't alone — Kid is there as well. But, something about him seems different.

After Kid and Teth found themselves in the Void, where Kid had regained his memories somehow, they end up returning to the Hidden Forest. While Kid is asleep, the Forest Elder thinks about the past, one which quite obviously wounds her enough to cover the sky with rainy clouds. Her thoughts are interrupted by Kid, who has woken up, and asks her why she is crying. What is strange however, is that he didn't refer to her as "ma'am", as he had consistently been doing before, but as "mom". Teth regains some courage and goes to find her dear friend, Lamed, as she seems to be ready to tell her the truth she wasn't capable of uttering years prior.

Daleth - he leads the travelers into the realm of sky and guides them to where they need to go next. The ferryman is the least respected out of the elders since he chooses to live his life among the people of his village.
Ayin - He strives to collect and harness the vast power of the soul flames. He’s obsessed with their wonders and wants to use their light magic for his own gain. He’s a very powerful light magic user because of his obsession and his knowledge on light magic only rivals that of Lamed.
Teth - she’s obsessed with dark stone and harnessing its full potential through inventions she has created. She is an artificer and she will have nothing stand in her way of her goals for a forever lasting machine…
Samekh - competitors and rivals, the king’s announcers. They spread his propaganda and promises of riches, advanced technologies, arts and a bright future under his rule. Their naive and inexperienced selves are blinded by the king’s empty promises…
Tsadi - he’s too loyal to his king to see what the kingdom has become. He’s the protector of the oracle, the keeper of the vault. Loyal to protect her and her centuries of knowledge.
Lamed - she’s an oracle and highly respected amongst the people of all the realms along with the elders and the king. She has the ability to foretell future events, whether they be good or bad. She keeps to herself in the vault and rarely leaves, only venturing out for what she deems as “special” events.
Prince Alef/King Resh - a child ruler foretold by lamed to have risen out of the four sacred elemental trials. He was orphaned at a young age but taken under the wing of Daleth. A highly gifted child with the weight of high expectations put onto him after he was pulled into the role of ruling over the entire kingdom not by his choice… behind all his ambitious goals, one has remained with him ever since childhood that has pushed him for selfish reasons…
