Awakening đ¯ī¸ (12)
After Kid and Teth found themselves in the Void, where Kid had regained his memories somehow, they end up returning to the Hidden Forest. While Kid is asleep, the Forest Elder thinks about the past, one which quite obviously wounds her enough to cover the sky with rainy clouds. Her thoughts are interrupted by Kid, who has woken up, and asks her why she is crying. What is strange however, is that he didn't refer to her as "ma'am", as he had consistently been doing before, but as "mom". Teth regains some courage and goes to find her dear friend, Lamed, as she seems to be ready to tell her the truth she wasn't capable of uttering years prior.
Awakening đ¯ī¸ (11)
After Teth rushed to save Kid, who had been mesmerized by the glow of the red shards, she finds herself in a void of darkness. But she isn't alone â Kid is there as well. But, something about him seems different.
Awakening đ¯ī¸ (10)
Memories flash through the Forest Elders' mind, clearer than ever before, filling her with rage. She seems to be holding a grudge against someone, who she wishes nothing but harm upon. Just as she states that he may never reach her again, the mountain of Eden erupts, and burning shards surround the Elder. She thinks herself dreaming when she hears Kid calling to her, only to realize that he truly was. He stutters as he attempts to recount the events that had upset him to such an extent, while Teth attempts to keep him from getting distracted by the redness of the sky. He ends up escaping her and rushing towards the shards, hypnotized by their color and their odd appeal. She yells at him not to touch them, but he doesn't seem to be listening. As she actively avoided being in contact with Darkness, she doesn't hesitate to jump in when Kid seems to put himself in danger.
War and Heartbreak
"Has the Lord sent you to War to keep you
Away from me?
Has the warmth of my love filled the Sun
With Jealousy?
What wrong have I done by putting my
Heart into your hands?
I promise, I never would let you carry
the weight of my guilt.
But you are acquainted with the rain
that pours out of my eyes,
and all of the words that remain
unspoken.
The Sun is too cruel to be merciful,
and my skies shall remain darkened.
If only I could rid myself of the knowledge,
that you will be torn apart, reduced to a shell.
My heart is made of glass,
Hidden within a cold forest,
Yet every single shard reflects
None but your face.
I long for you to come back,
But War won't leave you unchanged.
You promise you will be alright,
that it should, in no way, add to my guilt,
but day by day, my heart turns to stone,
and tears flood my rivers."
Impromptu verses to accompany the images 𩷠I love them so much đđŠˇ
The Shadow of Darkness
this video elaborates more on how I picture that after the King becomes corrupted, the darkness gains "sentience", and it grows the more Resh "listens" to it. In a sense, Resh's body is like that of a puppet, and Alef is imprisoned somewhere inside, his voice and light getting snuffed out more and more as Resh falls into Darkness. I believe that around the time of the Shattering, Resh (the body) and the Shadow become one; an all consuming Darkness which has a consciousness of its own. and the more it is fed, the more it grows. so basically, as the Elders attempt to seal him, he cannot be defeated due to his power. so the Darkness is sealed within the mountain of Eden, thus rendering it "alive" to a certain extent. it doesn't have a human body to manifest through anymore, so the rage is perpetual through the storm of Eden.
sound belongs to the very talented @doofguyva on TikTok!!
i really like to believe that Alef / Resh aren't really the same person, even if technically, they are. but Resh is more of the humanoid form of the darkness that has taken over Alef's body, if that makes sense? i imagine there was probably a period during which Alef had a sort of internal battle ( that he obviously lost ) , against the growing darkness inside of him. much like darkness absorbs light, perhaps light was absorbed from Alef, and Darkness has replaced it, in a similar fashion that when Light was drained out of light creatures, they became dark creatures? an empty shell of what they used to be? something of the sort... eitherway, I am fascinated by this concept ( as you can see )
once again amazing voice work by @doofguyva on tiktok !!
Moments Before the Shattering
found this sound INCREDIBLY fitting, whether regarding Resh, or the Elders concerned by his words . . . i do imagine that Resh must've known about the Elders' inability to get along, and constant disagreements, especially regarding darkstone. when they come to confront him and stop him from attempting to use the eternal Light Beam to become god, it is already too late, and he doesn't hold back from mocking them about their slow reaction, let alone their stupidity in handling their powers. i believe it is also a point where Resh has come to accept the Darkness within him, as part of his "godly" power, which he, due to his corruption, doesn't really see as something bad. at least, not anymore.
that being said, amazing voice work by @doofguyva on tiktok !!!
Awakening đ¯ī¸ (9)
Kid is overwhelmed by his own emotions, and seeks find the comfort he usually gets when in the presence of the Forest Elder. In the meantime, Mekh's inner turmoil only grows as she also rushes to find Teth, but for a different reason. Assembling the pieces together might have created a certain narrative in her mind, one that might not be entirely correct. But Mekh bears the burden of her own pride and her own mistakes, which renders her highly susceptible to such criticism â¯â¯ and intolerant to blame of any sort. As she recalls having confronted Teth in the past, prior to the Shattering, and angers over the fact that she hadn't been harsher, her thoughts are interrupted by Moon. Mekh lashes out, thinking that Moon was here to lecture her, but it didn't seem to be the case. Moon seemed to want to speak with Mekh. Their calmness, which didn't reciprocate Mekh's anger, caught her off guard. What could Moon possibly want to talk about ?
"If only I could apologize,
Apologize a million times,
as many times as there
are stars in the sky.
If only I could apologize
for not being strong enough,
for having allowed you
to be hurt by this cruel world.
I welcomed you in a world
that has offered nothing,
but pain and suffering.
Yet in my heart full of sorrow,
you bring a light that
was unknown to my soul.
You are the sun that has
calmed my eternal storms,
and has made my rainy days
more tolerable.
You are too small to bear
any burdens.
Let me carry everything
that weighs upon your heart.
I will carry a mountain
to save you any ache.
I will carry a mountain
so one day,
you might forgive
my mistakes,
If God forbid, you may
ever remember the
pain I have caused you.
Yet I long for you to
remember me,
to remember me,
as the one who has
carried you,
into the sunlight.
I will hold you close
to my heart,
I will carry you until
you refuse the safety
of my arms,
and the sound of
my broken heart."
Some impromptu verses to accompany the video, which relates to my Awakening series đŠˇ

I have nothing to say except she slays ( literally ) and I love her sm đĢļđģ
GOD VS GOD-COMPLEX
"For I am the One,
The True Source of Light;
Greater than a mere star,
and the most Honored.
Brighter than the Sun,
if not the Sun Himself,
I am to become."
another impromptu verses to accompany the drawing â¯â¯â¯ while it might have started with good intentions, I believe that Resh's ultimate goal was likely to overthrow Megabird and take her place as the source of Light, as he judged that her light was weakening. he comes to believe that he is the only one from who emanates the Light, and who gives life to the Kingdom. Basically that nothing could live or prosper without his existence.
Can you tell I have an obsession? Eh? Okay
Awakening đ¯ī¸ (8)
Meeting Moon certainly was a noteworthy experience, but Kid soon goes back to play with his friends, who had come up with a game â¯â¯â¯ well, only one of them seemed to be very passionate about it. Kid is on board and finds it quite fun to play pretend, even though he needs directions as to how he should behave . . . things go well until the story takes a turn which rubs him off the wrong way, for a reason he couldn't pinpoint. All that he knew, was that it was unfair, and felt horrible. Unable to explain the effect it had on him, he runs off, dropping the story altogether. His friend wonders if the Princess shouldn't just get back with the Prince, without realizing that this story might ring true with another, to an extent that all of them are unaware of.
Awakening đ¯ī¸ (7)
Meeting Moon seemed to be an exhilarating experience for Kid, as someone who had never met another so shiny before. And Kid's perspective remains quite limited. Someone else sees the Moon's arrival as some sort of sentence, a reaction born from years long guilt and remorse. But Mekh seems to know things that others don't. Moon's arrival has made her cross paths with the child she apparently had already seen a long time ago, before the events of the Shattering. How could it be that it was the same child who has reappeared so long after? Why could he have been hidden in the first place? What Mekh believes for sure, is that Teth has a lot of secrets, many upon which rests the Fate of the world.
Does Mekh's perspective paint the events as they were? and . . who really is Kid?
Shattering.
Alef / Resh has been living rent free in my head for a while and I just can't stop thinking about how everything led up to the shattering . . How Alef's person gradually slipped away until he was unrecognizable, and replaced by a corrupted version of himself, unreachable since he was trapped within his own darkness. Starting off with good intentions, only to be lifted so high he believed himself to be a god; aiming for eternal light only to be plunged in eternal darkness. A never-ending storm of rage and all-consuming darkness.
Corrupted King, Resh
I have quite a few headcanons when it comes to Alef / Resh, and I will mention them below ( PS: could contain spoilers, so please be aware of that )
like I mentioned in a previous post, I differentiate Alef and Resh as before corruption, and after corruption. So Alef is the uncorrupted Prince which later on becomes King. The corruption is gradual however, and doesn't settle immediately, hence the "semi- corrupted", where I see him as losing his former personality to be replaced by increasing coldness, and ruthlessness. That being said, Alef and Resh become like two different people. the way I see it, is that Alef becomes a very small part of light, lost in the darkness. metaphorically very similar to the lone golden child in the void, before we get reborn. the way I envisioned it is, the darkness seeped into the very core of his surroundings, to such an extent it may as well have been an extension of himself. in that sense, Resh "fused" with the darkness around him, and the mountain of Eden, is /alive/ and actively trying to destroy sky kids, even though Resh is not visible himself. when the Elders set on sealing the King away, because he is too powerful, he might have been as big as a mountain tbh, and the sheer power that was being let out on that day likely shattered the diamond. perhaps, Resh's intention was to overthrow Megabird and become the sole source of Light, hence directing the diamond towards the heavenly Light, but of course.. it turned out for the worst
in a way, perhaps Alef is watching himself becoming unrecognizable, but is unable to do anything at all against the all-consuming darkness, which is himself?
Awakening đ¯ī¸ (6)
Despite being unaware of Teth's nightmare, Kid is still able to observe that something seems to be wrong. The Forest Elder appears to be restless, and is always checking her surroundings. He is unsure as to how to help, but he notices that her mood lifts a little when he talks to her about his adventures. It does sadden him that she doesn't seem to find happiness otherwise. What could possibly make her heart so sorrowful? Kid's thoughts are interrupted by the sudden appearance of a very shiny stranger, who refers to themself as "Moon". Kid immediately equates their person to that of the moon itself. Would he be correct in assuming so? If so, why would the moon suddenly show up in human form?

Kid and Teth đ
Kid doesn't like to see Teth upset, especially when it rains worse than usual. He thinks that flowers can make her smile đ
Kid is a character in a series I am working on on Tiktok, called "Awakening", and it is also on Youtube. It's a series based on the lore created with my friends, adapted into a story. Do check it out ! It's still in the works and I promise it's worth it đ
Two Halves and One Heart â¤ī¸
I can't stop drawing them and I have so much to say about them đ also how much it ties into the series I am working on and all the lore . . . o<= the second picture is a bonus, it would've been angsty as usual but I thought, let's be merciful and give them so happiness first đâšī¸
Awakening đ¯ī¸ (5)
Kid followed the Forest Elder's instructions, and went around to discover the world, something which seemed to trouble her quite a bit, especially when she wakes up from a seemingly recurrent dream, leaving her nervous and anxious. She wakes up to find Kid right where she feared he would be: by the gate of Eden. Kid is pulled back, and forbidden from entering the realm, for a reason that Teth doesn't explain. Kid wonders why she is acting as if every star was an eye staring at her. He finds the stars beautiful, and notices that one of them had fallen off. What could that possibly be, and what could it mean for everyone? was it just an ordinary Skykid?
Hello! :D i wanted to ask if it's ok if i make a sticker of Kid, I frikin love your art and stories! â(īžâãŽâ)īž* they're so nice! And have a great day or night!
Ohh, that's so nice of you, thank you! Haha, and go ahead for the sticker đĨ°
