Hello šš¼
I just read the first chapter of Calm after the storm and I love it. š
I just wanted to tell you one thing that kinda bothered me. At some point you wrote that people are calling Heaven female Hitler. I donāt know where youāre from what beliefs you follow or not and I totally accept that you might not feel the same as I do. Iām from France and Iām not Jewish but have friends whose grandparents had that horrific tattoo and/or were the only surviving member of their whole family so I might come across as too sensitive but believe me around me no one would ever use that name even as an insult for someone unless theyāre responsible of a genocide or have clearly shown nazy ideologies. So far she only seems a bit ruthless and maybe self-centered so I think āfemale Devilā might be more appropriate. I donāt know why but in a way itās less shocking than that crazy man who murder millions of people.
I donāt know if Iāve managed to make myself clear but basically I feel like Hitler can only be used when speaking of genocide. In a way using it this way feels like it would participate in making that name ānormalā and I think nobody wants that because it means normalizing what he did as well and thatās just unthinkable.
Again I understand that itās my opinion and you may not share it. Iāll just thank you to even read it and consider what I tried to express.
No need to answer me. I know this is a social network and clearly not the place where you want to speak of that kind of things. I just couldnāt not say anything.
Lots of love š
Hey there,
I just wanted to say thank you for bringing up your concerns about the way I referenced history in my writing. I appreciate your honesty and I want you to know that I completely understand where you're coming from.
I admit that my knowledge about certain historical figures, like Hitler, is limited to what I've learned here and there. When I was writing, my intention was not to glorify or minimize the atrocities associated with such figures. Rather, I was focusing on the idea of how individuals can be perceived in different lights based on limited information.
I realize now that using such a controversial figure's name to describe a character, even if meant in a different context, can be insensitive and trigger negative emotions in others. I did not mean to offend anyone, and I genuinely apologize if my words caused any discomfort or upset.
Your feedback means a lot to me because it shows that you care about accuracy and sensitivity in storytelling. I promise to take this as a learning opportunity and be more mindful of the historical context and implications of the names and references I use in my writing.
I'm grateful that you spoke up and shared your perspective with me. It takes courage to address such matters, and I truly respect that. This community is indeed a place for creative expression, but it's also a space where we can learn from each other and grow as writers and individuals.
Thank you once again for your understanding and for helping me see things from a different angle. I hope you have a wonderful day or night, and remember, your voice matters and is always valued.
Take care, beautiful human. ā¤ļøāŗļø

Awakening šÆļø (4)
After Kid mentioned that he wanted to see the Wasteland, Howl agreed to show him around. Despite his reluctance, Florian accompanied them. Howl seemed to know a lot about the wasteland, considering that this is the place where he grew up. The wasteland is not what Kid expected, him who had always known the forest. Everything seems colorless and sad. But what truly seems to strike him is the sight of Dark Dragons, roaming about and searching for Light to devour. But Kid doesn't seem afraid more than he is distraught by that fact. Why is it impossible to bring back Light to these creatures? Are they suffering as well? He returns to the Forest Elder in order to find some familiarity and comfort.
Awakening šÆļø (5)
Kid followed the Forest Elder's instructions, and went around to discover the world, something which seemed to trouble her quite a bit, especially when she wakes up from a seemingly recurrent dream, leaving her nervous and anxious. She wakes up to find Kid right where she feared he would be: by the gate of Eden. Kid is pulled back, and forbidden from entering the realm, for a reason that Teth doesn't explain. Kid wonders why she is acting as if every star was an eye staring at her. He finds the stars beautiful, and notices that one of them had fallen off. What could that possibly be, and what could it mean for everyone? was it just an ordinary Skykid?
Awakening šÆļø (6)
Despite being unaware of Teth's nightmare, Kid is still able to observe that something seems to be wrong. The Forest Elder appears to be restless, and is always checking her surroundings. He is unsure as to how to help, but he notices that her mood lifts a little when he talks to her about his adventures. It does sadden him that she doesn't seem to find happiness otherwise. What could possibly make her heart so sorrowful? Kid's thoughts are interrupted by the sudden appearance of a very shiny stranger, who refers to themself as "Moon". Kid immediately equates their person to that of the moon itself. Would he be correct in assuming so? If so, why would the moon suddenly show up in human form?
Awakening šÆļø (7)
Meeting Moon seemed to be an exhilarating experience for Kid, as someone who had never met another so shiny before. And Kid's perspective remains quite limited. Someone else sees the Moon's arrival as some sort of sentence, a reaction born from years long guilt and remorse. But Mekh seems to know things that others don't. Moon's arrival has made her cross paths with the child she apparently had already seen a long time ago, before the events of the Shattering. How could it be that it was the same child who has reappeared so long after? Why could he have been hidden in the first place? What Mekh believes for sure, is that Teth has a lot of secrets, many upon which rests the Fate of the world.
Does Mekh's perspective paint the events as they were? and . . who really is Kid?
((While I'm deciding what I can do with this blog, have a song I'm working on that turned out okay enough to post!! ^^))
Iāve returned to the Splatoon Universe and back at it again voice dubbing Mr. Grizz!!!
(God I missed voicing him!)
Hey look I sang a thing
Only audio because unfortunately Iām an eldrich being unable to be captured on video smh
The song is Arsonistās Lullaby by Hozier, I wanted to do something below my comfortable mezzo-soprano range. Feedback, especially criticism (not hate), is appreciated. Iām completely untrained vocally and also sick right now so itās a bit scuffed, and the third half of the song is not there lmao.

So sometimes when we're watching AGT or whatever other talent show, my mom is all "Raley, sign up for auditions"
But I don't exactly have a talent, heh. I guess I can do voice-work like impressions and things. But just picture this innocent shy girl who just starts going Grudge/Ju-on on you

Would that be cool or no?
