Thanquol learned magic under the tutelage of his late master Sleekit. He hated his master, but was motivated to learn. This was mainly due to his desire to be superior to his fellow apprentices, and to one day kill Sleekit and take his place.

Thanquol has travelled to many far away lands on various missions. Each one he seems to hate more than the last, so picking a favourite would be impossible. He’s also not keen on the act of travel itself. Boats bring up bad memories, travelling by foot is exhausting (and unbecoming of a Grey Seer of his status), and magical transportation can be risky. His favourite mode of transport is of course to be carried by Boneripper.
If you had the choice to turn into a monster what monster would you turn into?

“An obvious choice-option would be a rat ogre like Boneripper. The brute strength-muscle would be good-appreciated, but the lack of brains… no-no, it will not do.”
“Dwarf-things are certainly monstrous-ferocious, but I would rather-prefer to pull out my own teeth-fangs.”
“A noble dragon-rat, on the other paw, now that would be a creature-beast befitting a Grey Seer as impressive as me! Of course I would keep-retain my vast intellect in this form, and all would rightfully fear-obey me!”
